I have contact Expert Roofing for roofing projects at several locations and I am always pleased with their prompt and professional service.

The soffit and flashing around our home were in very poor shape and needed replacement. Moisture was building up in the eaves and the soffit surface was actually peeling away. Chad from Expert Roofing was was the most knowledgeable salesperson of the companies that we considered for the work. Expert Roofing also had the most competitive price. Chad explained how the lack of adequate ventilation had led to the issue. The on-site workers were on-time, courteous, and cleaned up well at the end of each day. The new soffit looks great and has really made a difference in the look of our home.

The staff was really easy to work with. I was paying out of pocket for a complete tear off and replace. They did a great job of explaining everything and keeping costs down.

We worked with Tim and from Day One, he provided all the info we needed and guided us through the process. I had tons of questions and he patiently and fully answered every one, even providing references to local homes with rooves in the colors we were considering so we could see them IRL. He was excellent to work with. On the work day, the crew did everything Tim promised and then some. Their prep and protection worked perfectly; the house and landscaping looked exactly the same before and after the job. They were really amazing. While Expert's work included some functional but visually subtle upgrades compared to the old roof (better flashing, modern vents, nicer vent stacks) the new roof isn't obviously different, (we went with the same color shingles we had before) but I'm so happy with the work Expert did, I actually feel excited about it, knowing that the house is better protected and functioning better too. Thanks to Tim and the amazing crew at Expert. Highly recommend.

I didn't know what to do when a tree limb crashed onto my roof, so my first call was to Expert Roofing based on work they had done in my neighborhood. Brook Papazoni guided me through the damage evaluation, insurance claim process and roof repair. Communication within the company and to the insurance company, all while keeping me in the loop, made the process as stress-free as possible. Installation was completed ahead of schedule and cleanup was thorough. My new roof looks great! Extremely professional, efficient and polite. Explained everything as they went along. Tried to protect plantings as best they could and cleaned up everything after they finished including policing the yard with a magnet to make sure there were no extra screws laying in the grass.

Our first insurance claim! Joe was nothing short of a delight to work with. He was extremely helpful with the entire process, very responsive, and successfully negotiated with the insurance company. From the roof, to the windows and gutters they performed excellent quality work in a timely manner. We're beyond pleased with everything and have referred a few friends.

Could not recommend Dave enough, he was very patient as we had to fight with our insurance company for over a year to get everything taken care. We worked directly with Austin on replacement of our roof and siding and when I say Austin is the hardest worker I’ve ever met, I truly mean that. I had the pleasure of working with Tony Unger at Expert Roofing after a storm damaged some siding and roof elements on our house. Tony was incredibly transparent throughout the whole process, very quick to come out and assess the damage and provide (affordable) quotes and options, and most importantly, worked with the insurance company on our behalf to ensure that we'd be taken care of properly. Horrible company to deal with. Just move on. They sub all their work out and by the quality of it they pick their crews up off the street. They came to my home without notice at 10pm to look for garbage in the yard and remove dumpster. Left a lot of things a miss on our home with trim and did not explain certain details. Don't believe me, look at all the legal cases they are involved in in all the surrounding counties... Beware.
Update: The reason no complaints at the time were made is because I trusted in their work and was not looking for issues in the craftsmanship. that being said there was a complaint up front to the project manager about the alteration to my attic venting without confirming proper air intake for the changes they made. I was told sorry we don't do that and was left deal with it on my own. As for nonpayment They were paid all but $1,700.00 which was offered by me to be paid during the repair (which was refused by them) because they had not finished the work. A salty taste was left after the issues that arose and so I did not pay the balance, so they sent their lawyers after me. which I also tried to settle the matter after they were involved with no response from their lawyers after offering to settle and over a year later was contacted and subject to more fees and interest because of their negligence. That I don't hold that against expert roofing though as I believe the lawyers never presented the offer to them. However, expert roofing would not talk to me when I tried to contact them directly about that matter. Was I right for that in the end maybe not but that doesn't change the poor quality of the work.

Brandon Brasile is an exceptional project manager at Expert Roofing. I have worked with him on a number of projects as a sub- contractor. From start to finish, he ensures every project runs smoothly, keeping homeowners informed along the way.

Brandon takes the time to truly listen to homeowners, addressing any concerns and making sure every aspect of the project meets their expectations. His ability to coordinate teams efficiently and maintain clear communication is a testament to his expertise. I would highly recommend using him on your next project!

We originally started our roof repair project with a different company. It was a nightmare and switching to working with Joe McManaman / Expert Roofing was the best choice and outcome we could’ve asked for! Joe had so much experience and knowledge and we trusted him taking it over entirely even after starting this out with a different company that had made us question so much. Everything from start to finish with Joe Mac was super simple and turned out perfect. Expert Roofing was clear on their scheduling and expectations and they delivered on it.

Review based on process and communication of trying to schedule project not on actual work done. I reached out to Expert Roofing to replace roof on garage with attached room that has flat roof. A rep came out right away was very nice and gave a quote. When I reached back out to the same rep he came out again and acted very different from the first time. He seemed to be questioning his own quote and also measured again to confirm. We discussed payment process and I expressed concern over him telling me the quote may change a little so he said would discuss with manager and get back to me. A week later the price increased $2,000 for same project. I understand an estimate can change but I felt this was a huge difference and requested the new quote from the rep. After the request the rep then tells me he didn’t measure correctly the first time and also he didn’t actually understand pricing of flat roof material before he provided the quote to me. I’m assuming since your charge per square foot the rep you sent out didn’t miss up the measurements by $2,000 so the majority of this increase probably came from the material cost. It would have been nice for Expert Roofing to send a rep that had knowledge of the project I requested and also for that rep to let me know up front that they don’t understand pricing rather than giving me a quote that is based on inaccurate pricing. I don’t think the rep is dishonest but entire process could have been avoided if he would have communicated everything on front in and not a week later through text just saying it’s going up without even sending new quote of the details and blaming the manager for not working with him on quote that is based on inaccurate pricing to begin with.
**In response to owner, Your general manager did reach out to me the Monday after this original review. Asked what he could do for me to take down. He told me he would personally work on this because I expressed that I didn’t think a new quote was ever done. He said he would get me a new accurate quote based on work I needed if I would consider taking down. That was August 5th and I still haven’t received anything new as of September 27th responding to you. Disappointed that instead of the follow up and actual quote I was guaranteed, I just get a I’m sorry for inconvenience to the google review 2 months later from someone else. Not sure why the general manager reached out if he never planned to do anything.

Patrick approached us about our roof after a hail storm and worked through the whole tedious process with insurance to get us a new roof. Very easy to work with, great communication and once everything was approved the roof itself took maybe 5 or 6 hours start to finish. Really great company and Patrick was a great point person and kept things running smoothly. Roof looks fantastic and it’s a weight off our shoulders to have it done. Nick B, the general contractor we had the pleasure of working with, has a background in Insurance adjusting and has the skills to make sure that your insurance company pays you every penny that you are owed. He walked us through every step of the process and told us clearly what to expect. When the adjuster from the insurance company came Nick was on the roof too as our advocate and made certain that there was no under bidding on the part of our provider.

We had Chad come out and give us a quote. Chad had everything in the works within a week. We were fit into the schedule as soon as the permits came back. He answered all of our questions and concerns. He was here to make sure it was all done the way we wanted it to be. Before contracting with Expert Roofing, home owners should be informed about what they may be getting themselves into. I can’t claim to know this is how every one of their jobs goes, but in my personal experience, I found Expert to be exceptional at all initial contact and communication, getting my insurance to pay in full for the re-roofing project, putting on a new roof looks excellent from afar, and avoiding adequately correcting the multiple installation errors they made. Although the roof looked shiny and new from the ground, when I got up on the roof myself to see their work after they completed, I found numerous mistakes. There were shortcuts and workmanship errors in just about every aspect of their work: the flashing, gutter apron, fascia, torn shingles, and missing ice and water shield around vents. These are things most homeowners are not getting up on their roof to see nor would they know what to look for - but these mistakes increase the likelihood of leaks and future damages.

We recently had our siding replaced by Expert Roofing and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Tony was our sales person, and from the initial consultation to the final clean-up, Tony and his team were professional, efficient, and truly went above and beyond.

Expertise: Tony was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect siding for our needs and budget.
Communication: Tony kept us informed throughout the entire process, answering any questions we had promptly and clearly. He was also our advocate with our insurance company.
Quality: The workmanship is top-notch. They used high-quality materials and paid meticulous attention to detail.
Cleanliness: During and after the install, they kept the perimeter of our home clean and tidy throughout the project. They even went back after the snow melted to clean up and remove any additional debris that was left behind.
Speed: They completed the project ahead of schedule and within budget.

Be aware! They will quote you one thing and add extra charges, even if it does not match what is paid out my insurance. I am the one who had to do all the leg work with my insurance. This all fell on me not Expert. Office staff are rude and pushy. The siding is falling apart on my house and when asked about it they refuse to fix it untill be give them final payment. We refuse to give final payment untill they fix it. She wrote: We will need the final payment and I can get it addressed right away.
Since all the work has been completed for some time now the final payment is due.
Currently the account is past due. Please note if the account gets turned over to our attorney the warranty is void.
Please remit final payment so we can get this addressed promptly.

So they are threatening to void our warranty and turn is over to attorney. Bottom line they do not follow through with what they say they will do and do shotty work and over charge you.

Great experience from start to finish. Tim was there every step of the way from initial estimate, to working with our very difficult insurance company, until the end. Expert Roofing gets 2 thumps up. Can’t go wrong with them.

They repaired our roof and installed gutter guards. First, on little items, they over-promised and underdelivered. Overall they did a good job with the roof. Second, they installed both in October which doesn't give time/temperature for the roof to settle/cure. As such the granules kept shedding all winter and sticking in our mesh gutter guards (causing them to be inefficient). They came out to help correct a couple of times, but that was only after close to 30-50 contacts. I've learned now that they don't really respond for smaller items/jobs/adjustments. Since they got paid, I've had to attempt to contact them at least 10 times. There are so many roofing companies, I'd suggest trying a different one.

We had a great experience working with Expert Roofing on our hail damage claim. Tony and Cole in particular worked with our insurance to get our roof, soffits, fascia, etc replaced after a storm. I appreciate them working with insurance when some items weren’t approved the first time around to ultimately get that work covered. The materials and workmanship both seem to be very high quality, and we are extremely pleased with how everything turned out. We would work with them again in a heartbeat!

Johnny Turrisi was absolutely the most helpful, informative and trustworthy person we could ever want to work with. He spent time with myself and my wife and explained all the details of the project and really made us feel like we were his only client. Spent 6k on flat roof repair to fix a leak and add a pitch. The roof is still leaking and they created low spots in the roof that collects the water instead of pushing it towards the gutters.

Extremely poor workmanship and support. They have no idea what they are doing. They are not experts by any means.

Please do not use them for anything ! Avoid them at all costs.

I highly recommend Expert Roofing. Even more so ask for Jimmy. This guy fought my insurance company for nearly a year. He communicated with me every step of the way. The new roof and siding repairs are flawless. He was on site and made sure I was taken care of. There aren’t enough people like him with companies today. Let me start by saying working with Tony from Expert Roofing was great! It was a long hard fought battle with our insurance company and he was there helping us fight it every step of the way. He always has time to talk me thru my next step. The crews he had out to the house were professional and kind. He was at the house multiple times during the day to check on the progress and see if the guys needed anything. He even came back at night to do another walk around the house to make sure no nails or scraps were left behind. If you are looking for a company that cares Expert Roofing is who I recommend. It started with a card left at my house after a large hailstorm in April of 2023 with David Hernandez’s name & number on it. I meet with David and he assessed the damage and worked directly with my insurance company (Hanover). My insurance company approved almost everything right away except for the siding. They only wanted to pay for partial replacement of two elevations, one on my garage & one on my house. However, David fought and jumped thru hoops in hopes for the insurance company to pay for at least two whole elevations. David worked hard and not only did he get the two elevations covered, but since he proved my siding did not exist anymore, Hanover paid for the siding on all elevations of both house and garage. Thank you David and Expert Roofing for such a great job.

I had some bad storm damage to my roof and I called expert roofing out and the sent jeff out to take a look he was super professional and got me everything i needed taken care of. The repairs were timely, at a great value, and they were very responsive and exactly on time would definitely use them again thank you again jeff..

He was very personable and on time if not 5 mins ahead of schedule every time he said he would be here. That alone was impressive! I was struggling to find someone who would call me back to fix a small patch of rebel shingles and not only Expert Roofing was responsive they showed up the same day because they were in the area and solved the issue right then. Expert Roofing recently replaced our roof, skylight, gutters, downspouts, and shed roof. We got hit with hail damage from the April 4, 2023 storm, and Expert was in the neighborhood checking out a neighbor's roof. We allowed Cole to check ours out, and were surprised with how much damage we had. Cole and his manger Tony took our information, worked with our insurance company to get an assessment, and followed up on each and every item on the to-do list. We were assured that there would be no out of pocket expense, and that is exactly what happened. We were able to opt out of some of the work to absorb our deductible, which was amazing. The work was scheduled promptly, and everything was taken care of and cleaned up when they finished. I felt completely at ease working with Cole and Tony, and they were very kind and patient when I had concerns about replacing my brand new skylight. They did not collect final payment until everything was done to our satisfaction, and all matters with insurance were settled. I recommend this company.

Great experience from all, but especially Priscilla. She made the coordination of everything seamless. Honest and responsive. I fully recommend this company for your roofing/gutter/siding needs. They do not short cut.

We have been very pleased with David Camp at Expert Roofing! We initially reached out to him to do our roof inspection prior to buying our current house. After moving in, we knew that we could trust Expert Roofing for the work we needed done. Last summer, they helped install new roofing and sky lights in our sunroom, and this spring they just completed our entire roof. David went above and beyond, helping to guide us along the way, and ensured that the gutters and roof repairs were done the way he would want done on his own home. I would highly recommend this company for any future repairs!

Update: 2024, seven years later than our initial review. We have continued to reach out to David Camp through the years for questions and to check up on a few concerns with our roof. A few years ago, we had a concern roof, and while he was inspecting he ended up finding a lot of build up in our sunroom gutters and used our own blower to blow them out for us free of charge, just to be nice! Last year, we had noticed some water marks in our son's bedroom, and he came out to check it out and reassured us that it was a minor issue, but he is always happy to spend time explaining things in detail with such patience and kindness. This year, we had noticed some improper drainage and overflow with our gutters and he came out and resolved it today for us, free of charge, just showing such kindness. Whenever we have a roof or gutter concern, it is no question that Expert Roofing is the company we trust to reach out to. David is the nicest guy that you can trust to be honest with you, and he shows great detail and perfection in his work as well. Thank you David!
