Great customer service and quality work for a reasonable price. Dealing with Dave and Nabil was a pleasure as they were helpful in answering all of my questions. Scheduling a time to do the work was easy as they were very flexible with my schedule.
I had two bathroom fan exhaust vents installed on my roof. Valente the tech showed up on time and was very efficient in getting the job done quickly and done right. Would definitely use DGB again.

DGB just did a roof replacement for me. They tore off 2 layers of shingles and replaced with GAF architectural shingles. Replaced vents and added new ridge ventilation. work was done quickly on the scheduled day. All ground surfaces near house were tarped to protect and contain trash. Like a well oiled machine. They use powered driveable dump trailers to remove and bring materials up. These Dump trailers had large tires to avoid any damage to surfaces. All their guys are employees, not subs. The owner personally checks on work. They have a permanent showroom and lots of equipment, so they will still be in business if you ever have an issue. Communication all the way thru was excellent. I felt I got very good value for my money. If you want a company where you can write a check and sleep soundly knowing it's done right, these are your guys.

We are happy with the our experience working with DGB. Dave Coppes took the time to assess our roof condition, recently moving in, we had no idea the age of the roofs on the different additions added by previous owners. He set us at ease with giving an honest evaluation and estimate. The workers did a great job and the final work turned out great. Would highly recommend.

Excellent experience! Everyone was professional and courteous. We had called and emailed a couple other companies numerous times and they never got back to us. My husband called DgB and they were out the same afternoon. They worked quickly and efficiently and were able to get the job down fast and right. They cleaned up around the entire house so we didn't have to pick up nails or anything else that was left behind. At the after inspection we pointed out one item that my husband was going to get up on the roof to fix and Nabil wouldn't have it. Nabil's partner got out a ladder and promptly got on the roof and fixed it, plus a couple of other things. Great people, great company, we'll definitely be recommending them. We had DGB fix our roof heat vent cover. After calling multiple companies and either being rejected or ignored, we found DBG. They returned our call the same day and stated they would fix it. After ordering the part, they scheduled the repair so that I could be home while they were there. The installer was prompt, friendly and thorough. He did a great job, it looks fantastic! After obtaining 3 estimates, we chose DGB to replace our old roof and gutters. I valued the extra time their estimator spent answering my questions, even several days beyond our initial meeting. He spontaneously even offered extra advice regarding our Hardie siding and how to protect it better from moisture. On the day of the job, the crew took excellent care of our landscaping, utilizing extra large tarps and awesome lifted dumpsters (another reason why I chose DGB). Unexpected rotting plywood was replaced, and care was taken to protect our radon system. Two days later, our new gutters were installed, and the leader of that crew offered valuable advice on repositioning our downspouts to less conspicuous places. We couldn't be more pleased about our experience with DGB. Our 1960s home is known for springing surprises on us, and all was handled expertly by DGB. Their very solid reputation definitely well-deserved, and we highly recommend them to others.

When we needed to replace our 26-year-old roof, DGB was one of a few companies we called to get estimates. And, we are very happy we did.

DGB's estimator, Dave, was fantastic to work with. He inspected the roof, explained what he found, provided samples of many of the materials used, gave us an initial quote, and came back out with a few larger samples of shingles in the color options we were interested in. He thoroughly explained the process, when the work would start, answered all our questions, and continued to keep us informed throughout the process.

On the start date, the crew arrived on-time. They completed the tear-off and new roof installation in the same day. The entire crew was professional and respectful of our property, paying attention to the finer details. The lift equipment they used helped to contain most of the debris. After tearing off the old roof, a few issues were found (not unexpected, given the age of the roof). They discussed those issues with us immediately, to be sure we were aware and approved. When complete, they left our lawn, sidewalks, driveway, and gutters very clean.

Overall, our entire experience with DGB Roofing has been top-notch. Highly recommended.

DGB did an outstanding job on my new roof- the result is an upgrade for my home, both aesthetically, and functionally. Everyone I worked with was professional and knowledgeable. My main point of contact was with Dave who did the initial estimation and helped guide the whole process. There were no pushy sales and the job was specific to my needs and wants- Dave took time to make sure we would be happy with the end result. The roof looks great! It's a major upgrade from the original roof that was losing shingles rapidly. I can confidently say the workmanship was top notch as there are no leaks after making it through some intense thunderstorms with lots of wind driven heavy rain (when the old roof would leak). The crew did an excellent job and finished the work quickly while keeping the property clean and safe. My attic is also around 20 degrees cooler on hot days with the upgraded venting. DGB are professionals and they do great work. Highly recommended.

When I needed to have my roof replaced, I chose to keep my money local. Thus, I chose DGB Roofing & Construction. I found them in our local church bulletin. Their appraiser Dave came out and took measurements and provided me roof samples to review. He shared a list of local customers who had their roofs replaced to give me a live view of roof examples. Having compared their prices to other non-local roofers I chose DGB Roofing. They came out with special portable dumpsters to collect the roof waste. Upon finding a problem with my roof surface they immediately showed me the roof problem and gave me a repair recommendation. The owner of the company came on site to ensure that I was satisfied with the work. That was impressive. Along with the roof they made their recommendations for soffit vents to improve air circulation. I also had them replace my gutter guards that were old and contributing to “mini-gardens” in my gutters. Overall, the experience was positive and now I don’t have to worry about my roof’s condition. DGB did an amazing job on a very difficult old home and garage. They hauled away more garbage than a roof 3 times the size due to multiple layers. They even installed roof vents and fixed a broken pipe not related to the roof! These guys went above and beyond to ensure the roof was installed to perfection. Could not be happier with the new roof! Their customer service is second to none! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to replace their roof!

We hired DGB to remove the previous shingles and put on an entire new roof. We have been really happy with the company and the quality of the work. We appreciated the Estimator, Dave's, explanation of DGB being locally owned and that the work would be done by company employees, not subcontractors. They all worked extremely hard over a long hot day. The lift system they use is great! Had a lovely chat with the owner, who is clearly and understandably very proud of his company, his treatment of employees and the work they do. Customer service with DGB was great! We had a storm come through and we had some damage to our roof and gutters. They were able to come out in a timely manner and kept us in the loop on everything happening. Anytime I had questions and called the office the staff was always happen to answer any and all of my questions. The crew that came out to look at our roof and fix it were fast and courteous. We had our roof done back in 2016 and had the contractor run out on us. We got a recommendation and had Jose help us with everything. We had some damage from the recent storm and didn’t think we would get approved and we were a little worried about what happened before but Jose was there every step of the way and finished everything promptly. We immediately liked Dave Coppes, Cost Estimator for dGb Roofing and Construction. Dave is personable, honest and really took the time to understand our new roof needs. Dave spent time on our roof and looked our attic to determine the best way to install the new roof. Dave was also the only estimator that told us we needed to contact ComEd to have our electric wires wrapped from the street to the house for the safety of the roof installers. Dave is very knowledgeable! The roofing crew arrived on the day and time promised. They were polite and did a great job tearing off the tar paper and original shingles and installing the new shingles. The majority of work was completed on the first day. The second day a few workers arrived to inspect the prior days’ work and clean up any debris and nails. We appreciate everyone's efforts to do good work. Dave was wonderful from the start, he came to my house inspect and measure my roof, gave me options and talk to me about the details of the project, I already had some water damage inside my house and I expressed to him that I need the new roof ASAP. After picking color and going through the contract with him, the job was scheduled less than a week later. They were here when they said they would. After the new roof was installed, Jose come to the house for a last inspection and made sure that everything was done properly. I could not be happier, my roof look amazing and it was so easy to work with them. It was easy, quick and very professional. Thank you Jose, Dave and crew. I totally recomend DGB Roofing.

DGB is the absolute best. Excellent attention to detail, perfectly straight lines, and thorough clean-up. These folks take a lot of pride in their work. Our 2 car garage needed re-shingling, new vents, drip edge, replacement of underlayment and several cedar planks and resealing between the garage and house. DGB used the highest quality shingles and pointed out the info showing that the shingles had just been manufactured (i.e., they weren't sitting around a warehouse). They perfectly matched the color for the shingles and vents, and made sure that the replacement planks were exactly what I wanted (tongue and groove cedar). We'll definitely be having them back when it's time to re-roof the rest of our house.

Call DBG to get an estimate on my roof along with three other companies the owner Jose came out that day to give me an estimate. His price was right in line with other companies but all the little extra things he does made it a better value such as re-nailing the roof where nails had popped using better quality roof vents and vents for the plumbing on top of being a GAF certified company. Another selling point is that he has his own crews that work for him instead of subcontractors. The owner Jose is very passionate about the quality of work that goes into reroofing your house they were done in two days did a beautiful job and cleaned up their mess entirely.

The roof on our home saw hail damage and I didn't know where to start. I contacted DGB on the advice of a trusted neighbor who owns a home interior improvement company. He told me about DGB and the equipment they use during the tear off process which also doubles to lift shingles and other materials onto the roof decking. I called them and DGB's representative Nabil inspected our roof and provided a very reasonable estimate with details regarding the entire process. In addition, he provided shingle color samples with addresses of local jobs they had recently completed. This gave us a chance to personally inspect the results of their previous jobs. Once we chose a color we were scheduled within the week.

Their crew arrived on time and completed the job that same say. They were extra careful around the base of our home guarding my wife's prized flower beds and cleaned up any debris that may have hit the ground. The end result was absolutely amazing.

It was time to get a new roof and in searching for a company to do the work, we started to observe different companies performing roofing work in our neighborhood, then called and ultimately picked DGB Roofing Construction. We picked this company over the others based on their professionalism from our observation of their other work in the neighborhood, discussing our roofing needs, their modern equipment to refrain from damaging our plants, and the detailed contract terms. We were scheduled right away with no long delays. On the day of, they started right away, there was no damage to the plants surrounding the house, they cleaned up well, and the new roof is good to go.

DGB Roofing did an extraordinary job at at my parents house. They were easy to work with and the process to get approved did not took long unlike other companies. Both my parents are very pleased with the new roof. Jose was very informative and easy to work with. They diffidently will contact them for future needs. I am very happy with the great job that DGB Roofing did on my roof. My house looks so much nicer now. I have received compliments from others also. I highly recommend DGB. They came first thing in the morning and went right to work. They also look out for other things that may need repair. They re-painted the chimney so that it looks great against the new shingles. They also re-vented the bathroom fan through the roof. There was also a section that had damaged boards that had to be replaced. They took pictures of the work and explained what was being done. Before leaving they did a thorough cleaning of the area around the house. Thank you to everyone at DGB Roofing.

i called a week ago and scheduled an appt with a young lady over the phone and confirmed it. That day comes and I wait and wait over 45mins no show and I call and she seems completely incompetent and says can you give me more info to find your appointment...I can't find it under your name, phone or address. Never mind I will go somewhere else that wont waste my time.

We were really impressed with DGB Roofing. They made getting our barn roof replaced easy! The customer service was great. Their estimate was fair and competitive. And, the work was completed on time and on budget.

DGB worked around my schedule so i could be available to show them what i wanted during the estimate. They were very professional and courteous during the estimate, through the project, and the couple of times i needed to call the office. The prices were reasonable and they look out to make sure your roof is going to be sturdy and safe. They weren't looking to cut any corners or bloat my bill with unnecessary things. They got my roof looking better than new. All in all it was a smooth transition from beginning to end. In the end i feel like i was very well taken care of

It may seem strange that I am giving 5 Stars to a company that did not perform work for us but there is a good reason. Of the six roofing contractors we invited to give us an estimate on replacing our home's roof, only DGB Roofing said that a new roof was not necessary. "You have at least 2-3 of life left in your roof." said their Estimator Nabil Merza who is also a certified Public Adjuster. Nabil's integrity and professionalism was very much appreciated. When it comes time to replace our roof, DGB Roofing Construction will get our business. Period.

I wish I could give them 10 stars! The pricing is unbelievable and the service is outstanding. The crew was on time and cleaned everything to the point that you would never know they were here. Nabil is so wonderful too. Absolutely the best experience I ever had with a company.

I usually don't write reviews about products or services I've used, but we just finished having our roof replaced by DGB Roofing and I just had to let everybody know what a FANTASTIC company they are.
We had their representative, Nabil,out the last week of June. He measured and got back to us within 2 days with his estimate. We had already had 2 estimates, so we thought his price was a good one and decided to go with his company. After getting the contract approved with our Modifications Committee, Nabil secured the village permit and told us they could do the work July 1.
On July 1, a 5 man crew showed up at 7 A.M.. They worked all day in the blazing heat and were done by 6 P.M. The crew was absolutely FANTASTIC - polite, efficient, and hard working throughout the day. They covered my plants close to the house and when they were done, they cleaned up EVERYTHING. They even ran a magnet over all the grass around the house to pick up any fallen nails and metal.
I would HIGHLY recommend this company and give them a 5-STAR PLUS rating.

From the initial phone call to set up our appointment to the last second of them cleaning up, Jose and his crew were nothing but informative and professional. Jose took the time to explain in detail what was wrong with our roof and informed us exactly how he was going to fix our problem. DGB roofing is very detailed and professional with their work. We received an estimate for our roof and within a few days there was a crew of men working to fix our problem. They were able to explain everything they were doing and why. The crew was very good about clean up and worked efficiently to finish the project in one day. They use a dumpster that hydraulically lifts up toward the roof so there is no materials laying on the ground. The company also looked at other parts of our roof to take notes of any wear and tear for future repairs that may be needed. I am a local realtor and will recommend this company to clients.

Don't bother with this company. They are not interested in providing full service. We have a unique home and want a company that has experience and could provide us guidance and solution whether redesign/reconstruction of existing or repair. I thought from their website that they had just that and had many good reviews BUT AS soon as the lady on the phone heard the word possible repair she said that the owner of company does not do estimates for repairs > and she started quoting me a price of $470 for 1st hour and $180 for each additional hour + material and that for repair that is what you must agree to in advance. & that the guy will come out and do the work without even knowing what the issue is in advance. REALLY ? THAT is kind of ridiculous. WHAT HOMEOWNER WOULD AGREE TO THAT OPPORTUNISTIC MENTALITY. NO thanks, there are plenty of other reliable and worthy and well rated companies in area. I tried to explain that an evaluation needs to be done. NOPE...not interested if it's a potential repair. DON'T BOTHER. Agree to price, agree to letting them come doe the work without even knowing the type of roof, issues..... I mean unless you are building a new house, aren't most roofing jobs "repairs" anyway whether complete tear off. reconstruct or other ???? Seriously this company needs better attitude and customer service for initial contact for customer looking for service is needed. Maybe the crew and actual workmanship is great...cant comment on that only that initial contact was pretty lousy.

Professional and helpful. This is the first roof I have ever replaced in my life. My roof looks great and I received many compliments. No mess, no fuss. I heartily recommend this company without hesitation.

Effortless roof replacement, they couldn’t have made it any easier. Thankful I was refrerred to them. Nabil did all the work. He inspected my roof, made the appointment and met with the insurance adjuster then coordinated everything after that. All I has to do was sign. Roofing day workers were prompt, neat and after clean up you never knew they were there. They took care to move everything around my house and put it back after completion of the roof. DGB recently installed a new roof on my house. They were very meticulous and great to deal with. I am very pleased with the finished product.

Our rambling house is over 100 years old with three old roofs and many changes in the roof line to dismantle. I was happy that our windows were covered with plywood to prevent damage during demolition, and clean up was done every night before they left. Nabil was easy to work with and addressed our questions quickly and professionally.

There is nothing more to say than your company and Nabil deserve at least 10 stars. He is a good representative for your company. He was very professional and very friendly. The fellas on the roof did a wonderful job and they cleaned up around our home to pick up all paper etc. It is not necessary to give us a free dinner. Thank you!

They did a great job on our roof and gutters. They gave us a very reasonable price for our seamless gutters. Very professional, fast and clean. Found out by them that our insurance can actually pay for the roof and just had to pay for the deductible. Nebal the adjustor was friendly and took care of all the paper work through the insurance and helped us pick the best color of the shingles for our house. I would definitely recommend them!! Our neighbors across the street got their roof done by them and also did an amazing job! Thank you DGB Roofing!!!!
