We would like to review the work on our town house as we found everything to be exceptional.
We had new vinyl siding and soffit and new gutters.Cliff the owner was extremely easy to talk with and explained all in an easy to understand manner.The project was completed in the arranged time even with a rain delay the crew worked late to get it done.I must express their tidy manner every day cleaning up. I would not hesitate in recommending these guys to anybody.We would like to thank Brett who did a great job on the gutters

Like all the other reviews, I can't say enough good things about hiring Jackson Insulation. Brett and Cliff are both very professional, informative and friendly. We had them blow insulation into the attic but they had to remove a house fan that was installed from the inside of the attic leaving no access (a fairly unique situation). When Brett came out, he assessed what he needed to do right away. They did a great job in a very timely manner. We will be using them again for our siding.

We are ecstatic with the finished product delivered by Jackson Exteriors! Cliff and Brett communicated every step of the way and answered any and all questions. They were also very considerate of our schedule especially with two young children at home. We did a complete exterior of our home and really felt comfortable choosing Jackson after the initial visit !

We recently had Jackson Insulation and Exteriors out to our house to do some work on the chimney, replace a side door and fix some flashing. We can not say enough great things about this company. Interacting with Brett is an absolute pleasure. He is so knowledgeable and extremely responsive. They are always available to answer our questions and provide guidance. Needed additional insulation in the attic. Jackson came out right away to check the current level of insulation and make recommendations. On the date of installation, they added additional baffles, and sealed vent leaks they noticed prior to adding new insulation. They cleaned up what little mess was made in the process. Our home is warm again. Would highly recommend

Tremendous Veteran/Family owned local Crystal Lake company. Great service at great prices. I had insulation blown in my attic and will soon be having them replace my soffits. Just had them replace an almost 9 foot wide living room picture window that was leaking for years so you can guess what condition the framing was in. They took their time and repaired all the damaged wood and the end result was nothing short of perfect. If you are looking for high quality work these are the guys for you!

These guys were great. Cliff did a awesome job getting things set up and getting us taken care of. His son and crew were really great, kind and professional. We are getting a lot of compliments on our siding. We are having them come out and re-gutter our house this spring.

I’m a repeat customer - in 2014 Jackson Exteriors replaced our soffit and gutters, and we were so impressed with their work and quality then that we had them come back in October 2021 to replace our old aluminum siding with new vinyl siding, and renovate our garage by removing/moving and installing a new side service door. They also replaced wrought iron on the house front porch with a sleek stylish square post. Jackson Exteriors sided our house as well as replaced the gutters, soffits and fascia. Finally, they rebuilt our entry awning and replaced our front door. As is clear from previous reviews, five-star work is their usual. We worked first with Cliff Jackson to develop a plan and then the crew headed by his son, Brett, through completion of the project. Every single element of the job was handled with care. This was a big investment for us and Cliff and team kept us informed and at ease throughout the entire process. We were sad to see them go. But they left us with a beautiful finished product.

Had insulation blown in over heated garage and in one attic area over living space. Excellent communication, quick responses, easy to schedule with. Workers were punctual, courteous and respectful of my home. Did a great job of cleaning up after the work was done.

Jackson insulation sealed, put up vents and blew insulation in my attic. What would have taken me all day to do took them only a couple of hours. They were very professional, efficient and left no mess. I highly recommend. They were very reasonably priced vs their competitors and did not charge to come out for a quote.

We used Jackson to replace all of our gutters and downspouts, replace our dentil molding, and create more venting in our soffits. They came up with a great design for a great price that is maintenance free. We had multiple questions during the process and they took the time to explain us our options - their attention to detail is great! Jackson installed gutters at our home. Price was fair. Materials used were very high quality. The installation team showed up on time and did a very good job. Everything looks great. Took their time making sure everything fit properly. We had some tricky down spouts and the Install teamed made sure it looked great! I would highly recommend Jackson to anyone needing new gutters.

We called Cliff to get an estimate on gutters and trim wrap.
Cliff pointed out some shortcomings in the original trim design that would lead to drainage/leakage issues behind the siding. Other contractors were just going to leave these as is.
I'm happy to say that we went with his suggestions and the result looks WAY better than the original or what would have been completed by others.
These guys also worked cleaner than any building contractors I've seen previously. At the end of every day the house and yard looked like they were never there.

My husband hired Jackson Insulation & Exteriors Co. to do the following: Remove the old siding and gutters on my 64-year old house on Evergreen Parkway. It needed new siding, gutters and several windows. They replaced rotted fascia as needed, too. Cliff, his son Brett and their crew did an outstanding job! They showed up when they said they would (and usually earlier), they were friendly, very experienced, competent and professional; offered valuable advice and suggestions, and did work over and above the strict requirements of our contract. I visited the job site each day they worked, and they worked diligently and they worked hard. As to price, a job of this size could never be inexpensive, especially if it's to be done right; but Cliff's quote was very reasonable and fair. As to the result, our old house looks fabulous; and each time I pull into the driveway, I wish I had hired Cliff's company earlier, as a sort of repayment for all the great years our old house gave my family and I. Contacted Cliff about repairing a door header on my house. He came out to provide an estimate and quickly came up with a great idea. They did a great job and the work was impeccable. They're very courteous and prompt. Really easy to deal with. Feels great supporting a family business, and their work speaks for itself. I will be reaching out again for siding estimates and windows soon.

Custom work and attention to detail required start to finish surrounding the house in order to freshen up the curb appeal, maintain the historical appearance of the house itself, restoring a traditional color scheme and siding texture/surface while using long lasting material, and dramatically improving the quality of siding and craftsmanship on the exterior of our home. Neighbors commented about the crews respect for the neighborhood after a hard days work as there was a consistent, daily approach to maintaining a cleaned up, organized work area.

They were extremely professional. They were there to do the estimate on the job within a couple of days of my call, and submitted a proposal when promised. The quoted price was very reasonable, and they managed to accomplish the job sooner than was expected. The crew was professional and very friendly. They also explained what caused the issue and ensured that it would not happen again. Suggestions were also made on how to eliminate issues like that.

Brett made sure all our vents matched the color of our house perfectly and did the installation of all the vents himself. The octagon vents look like they’ve always been a part of our home. I wanted to have more insulation blown into my attic. Cliff with Jackson Insulation was great to deal with! Not only was he very knowledgeable, he was reasonably priced. The other two quotes I received were ridiculous. Cliff answered all of my questions and didn't try to sell me extra services I didn't need.

Needed gutter guards, so got them from Jackson I & E. They were so much more affordable compared to the competition. The work was done three years ago. I called yesterday and reported one section of gutter not working well. They came out today and fixed the problem, at no charge. Great company!.

We've been using Jackson since 2015 now for various gutter and exterior repairs. They matched the existing color gutters perfectly. They are always prompt and do the job right the first time, which is hard to find these days. Prices are competitive and would definitely recommend.

Amazing work! I've never been more impressed with a contractor. Cliff and Brett and their team paid attention to every little detail. They were neat and clean and never left a mess at night. They were even thoughtful enough to make sure my gate was closed and secured so that my dog would not get out.

They went above and beyond to ensure my house would look great for years to come. When they realized the boards on the roof that hold the gutters up were rotting and could not support new gutters they took the time to replace them and do the job right.

Jackson exteriors just finished a siding/insulation job at my house and it was one of the best experiences I have had to date with any type of contractor. Cliff, and his son Brett, are so knowledgeable and pay attention to all of the little details that make a project come out great. There were some delays once our project got started and Brett was checking in with me everyday to keep me in the loop about what I could expect to be accomplished on that day and in the future. Considering the extensive work they did on the exterior of my house, their prices were very reasonable when compared to quotes I received from other area contractors. We had some of our siding fall off from wind damage. We tried getting multiple companies out to fix it but they all only wanted to do all the siding, not just the fascia that had fallen off. Cliff Jackson from Jackson Insulation and Exteriors was happy to help and they did it quickly and matched the existing siding incredibly well. They alerted me to hidden issues behind the old siding and fixed them (at no additional cost) when they could have easily covered them up and I would not have known they existed! Jackson Insulation and Exteriors fixed the insulation in the bedroom over our garage and replaced the siding on our house. Both jobs were well done and I was very happy that our roofer recommended Cliff and his sons. Cliff worked directly with the insurance adjuster on the siding. His sons installed the siding and it looks great. They were very knowledgeable and didn't 'side over' any potential issues. They found a major issue with a spot on the chimney that was rotten. I was told about it and they took pictures, but they just took care of it and got it fixed. I think our heating billing will be positively impacted this winter with the garage room insulation fixed and the new siding. Overall very happy with the work.

These guys did a gutter job for me that turned out fabulous. The employees (Ryan in particular) were super nice, and very courteous about my surrounding cars to make sure they couldn't be damaged during the process. Installation was super fast. And their estimate came out cheaper in comparison to other companies. They say you can't have good fast and cheap, but I sure got it! A+ would highly recommend to friends.
