Caliber Collision - Blacksburg, VA

Everybody was so professional and friendly here. They did great work on my car. They even went out of their way to look into an issue I was having afterwards that ended up having nothing to do with the original accident. It happened to be the closest one to me and a USAA recommended shop, but in the future I would go out of my way to use this Caliber shop to do any body work. THANK YOU!!

All the people who work at Caliber Collision were very friendly and professional. They answered any questions I had and made the process very simple and easy.

I had hit a deer and had a smashed grill and assembly as well as a dented hood on my tangerine 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. These guys took care of me and repaired the hood and color-matched what turned out to be a slightly metallic color, to such perfection that you can’t even tell the difference between the new paint and the rest if the car. Now the front looks better than when I bought it. Ed and the whole staff were great and easy to work with, and kept me informed of the status of parts and when my car would be finished. I even got it back a day early. I highly recommend their services as they are professional and meticulous.

We had a blade break on one of our mowers called multiple garages no one would help get the bolt out stopped by caliber collision and James and Bri were both more then willing to help even in the rain! They had to heat the bolt with a torch and try multiple impacts but got the bolt out for us free of charge. I highly recommend using this place

I got my vehicle back 3 weeks ahead of time and they were incredibly transparent through the entire process with updates everyday.

These guys did some warranty work and realigned the rear liftgate on my Honda Crosstour. It took a few days to get it handled but I saw that coming. Also, I did the original repair work at a branch in Tampa so this wasn't their fault but they handled the job just fine in my opinion. Didn't cost me more than some time running back and forth to the shop. Dana and Bradley(I hope I got that name right lol) had great customer service as well.

Used caliber for my wife’s blazer that was heavily damaged by 2 deer. They did a great job on all the repairs and matching the paint , as well as working with any questions we had !

Hands down, great quality customer service. Called about a part unrelated to their core service and they helped me out with a simple temporary fix onsite not even 10 minutes after arriving, with it being on the house! Additionally, when I described the issue I was having to one of their mechanics, he recommended a cheaper DIY alternative than what I had been considering. Thank you Kate, Markus, Jerry, and Diana for your help. I may not have need for collision detailing at the moment, but when I do, I know where I'm going.

I went in for a simple sunroof repair, and they sent me out with an extra $1000 repair caused by them and without any accountability from the shop. I will be reaching out to the corporate offices and likely talking to the Better Business Bureau, as this is not how business should be done. They were giving me the briefest information, and when I asked for clarity, they simply repeated what they had said word for word and without any clarifying language. This is shady conduct and I am extremely dissatisfied with their behavior. If you get repairs done here, make sure to do your due diligence and watch out for the casual exploitation.

This shop is amazing! They removed the roof rack for me free of charge, while other shops were asking for $50. OMG！I appreciate the agent and the worker!

The personnel here were fabulous! Met a few employees and the general manager and they were so helpful with me. I did not feel like I was getting ripped off (as a young woman alone) and they really did everything they could to help me. Even going beyond what anyone would expect from an initial scan of the vehicle. Would recommend !

Great customer service was in and out in a few days. Never had any complaints truly was worth going there compared to somewhere else. They work awesome with progressive and got everything I needed done in a week complete front bumper replacement driver side Wheel wall replaced complete bumper replacement alignment was spot on no gaps or overlays checked for leaks did a disassemble and reassemble and have had no problems on a 2019 Jeep grand Cherokee

Caliber did a fantastic job repairing my car! They kept me informed and updated me via text through every step of the process. My car was repaired before their estimated timeframe and my car was washed and the inside was vacuumed! It was cleaner than when I dropped it off to them and that was a nice surprise. Caliber dealt with my insurance company for me as well. I would use caliber again and highly recommend them.

This place is fantastic! Gary and Joey are amazing. Extremely professional, kind and they work very quickly. I would not take my luxury vehicle anywhere else.

Definitely recommending Caliber Collision in Blacksburg they did an amazing job getting my SUV back in shape. Was worried about the color but if you didn't know about the damage to my ride you wouldn't believe it was ever damaged. Excellent service and responsive team.

The staff was very friendly and available to help. I came in because the under panel of my car got detached. Garrett helped me zip tie the under panel and referred me to a local auto body shop that could realign the under panel. He did this free of charge. I am extremely happy with the service that I received and I will definitely come back to them in the future.

Highly recommend using caliber. Gary was super helpful in explaining the whole process on what was going to happen with the car, what needed to be replaced, and was honest about pricing. Even gave me an extra few mins of his time to look at another piece of my car I needed help with. If you need help with your car, this is the place to be!

Gary from Caliber was amazing. Helped me out at no cost. They had a long wait period for repairs so guided me to their Salem branch that has a shorter wait and also gave me a free temporary repair so I can drive around town while waiting for my repair appointment. Very refreshing experience. Thank you Gary and Mason!!

Calibers Blacksburg team is a 5star A+ experience. They greet you happily and were super prompt on getting my vehicle in and gave solid updates along the way which is really reassuring when you have handed over a vehicle with extensive damages.

Getting put on schedule was quick and easy, I couldn’t have been there for more than 30 minutes. They made the entire process easy to understand and even used their own wiper fluid to test for further damage in my car!

Gary listened to my concerns and addressed them. More important, he kept his word. The car looks great! Would recommend

Had a busted radiator and a bunch of internal problems. They took care of my car in a timely manner and always provided updates and news on my car. They cleaned my car when it was time for pickup. Highly recommend coming here for any kind of repairs. Very professional and experienced.

Worst experience ever. Customer service was rude and we got a different story every time we called. They kept our car for weeks “waiting on parts” instead of estimating and then ordering the parts and having us bring it back in when the parts came. They did not tell us this when we took it in. We asked to drive it while waiting and we were told it was apart. They said if we took it back to wait we would “lose our place in line and have to start all over”. The car was drivable when we took it for the estimate but they charged over $12,000 to repair!! BEWARE!!!

Highly recommend this place! Everyone was very kind to me, especially Chris, and the small scale work I needed for my car was done within 3 business days. They even vacuumed my car afterwards. But perhaps most important is that they were willing to work within my financial constraints, which I really appreciate.

Excellent customer service.

I took my car in for a quote on two issues -- a broken splashguard and a bumper repair. Chris was assigned to my case, and he spent a good 30 minutes diagnosing the issue with the air dam/splashguard, and then he fixed it on the spot. No charge.

He also gave me a very reasonable estimate for the other work, but I was most impressed by his willingness to troubleshoot and fix the splashguard issue as we talked.

Above and beyond expectations. We will definitely call on Caliber first when other car body work issues arise.

Christopher Atkins and front office executive administrator were very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Mr. Atkins went above and beyond helping us with bumper damage!

We were extremely satisfied with the recent repair work to our vehicle. Caliber went above and beyond in communication regarding the status of the vehicle at each stage in the process. Our car was returned to us in excellent condition and even small details were not overlooked. Highly recommend!

So, I only just dropped my car off this morning and will edit my review if needed. But this morning’s customer service was outstanding!! There had been some miscommunication between my insurance company, me, and Caliber Collision collectively and even though I’m sure the situation was frustrating to Caliber Collision, they handled it professionally! Like I said, I’ll edit this rating if the service goes down from here, but I can’t see how it possibly could! They were really so helpful!!

If you need vehicle body repair, don't go anywhere else in Blacksburg or the New River Valley for that matter. Go directly to Caliber Collision! I have been taking my vehicles to Caliber Collision (previously Maaco) ever since they opened back in 2017 and owned by the same great person who owns Campus Collision next door. I imagine I have taken at least a dozen vehicles to them to make repairs, mostly from deer hits, but sometimes just for painting. The vehicle always comes out looking better than it did before. And now Caliber Collision is better than ever with new management and a top notch crew! There simply is not a better repair analyst than Christopher Atkins who works here. Take your vehicle to Collision Plus or those other body shops around Blacksburg, well you might get it back in a few months. Take your vehicle to Caliber Collision. You will not be disappointed!

From scheduling to having the process explained to me, the crew at Caliber Collision were beyond helpful. I will gladly use them again if needed and I’ll recommend them in a heartbeat.

UPDATE: Caliber Blacksburg came through for us again. Seamless process, ahead of schedule, and a like-new repair. Great shop!

Great shop and people. We had a very slight paint exchange from a parking lot encounter. The team at Caliber checked out our paint (and panel) to ensure all was well. They then offered to skillfully buff out all the offending paint. It looks good as new, was handled in minutes, and they wouldn't even accept my offer to pay for their time and expertise. Five stars for this new business.
