We were shopping for a used rv. They had one a little out of our range. After negotiations with consigners, we reach a decent price. This is my 2nd rv. Previous dealer took 3 months to fix everything on a new model. Awsome RV went through and fixed EVERYTHING!!! ( not cosmetics). All mechanical and electrical and appliances serviced. Even new tires, In 2weeks.
Mark, the salesman, best ever. Relaxed easy going guided us through everything. Finance guy. Very nice. Special mention to Lance, who orchestrated repair requests and did our walk through. Casey in rv service is a great guy! Thank you awsome rv!

In summary: rude, dishonest, unaccountable, did I say dishonest. They treated me more like an enemy than a paying customer. Here are the details:

I made an appointment for oil / filter change and general inspection of my Class-C RV at Awesome RV in Chehalis, WA. On the phone I emphasized the tire inflation needs checking and suspension greased. The service advisor said the inspection includes tire inflation and they would grease suspension if there were grease fittings.

When I arrived at dealership, the same advisor changed his story a little and said they may not be able to inflate the rear “dually” tires if they don’t have the right tool. An RV sales and service dealership that doesn’t know how to inflate rear “dually” tires??

When vehicle service was finished I picked up the paperwork on the counter to review the bill and read the inspection report. The service advisor rudely pulled the paperwork out of my hands and informed me that it was internal paperwork and I wasn’t allowed to read it. I asked him very nicely if he would explain the inspection report and charges. He looked me as though I just insulted him and he was upset with me. He said he had never been asked to do that before. He wanted me to quickly swipe my credit card and pay the bill with a 3% sur charge for using Visa.

He held the paperwork so I couldn’t see it and said everything looks good. I asked if they inflated the rear dually tires and he nervously said the tire pressure monitoring system on the dash looks good. I asked but did they inflate the tires? No answer.

He didn’t say if they greased the chassis, didn’t say what oil they used or anything useful about the inspection. I asked for a copy of the inspection and he said they don’t do that. I insisted so he photocopied a pre-printed form which didn’t have my name or vehicle id on it. There was a handwritten inspection report that he didn’t copy for me. And he didn’t provide a copy of the visa receipt. He said it’s a paperless visa machine!

So he didn’t provide a receipt or inspection report. Why would a dealership do that? So they can’t be held accountable??

On the way out the door I said I’d be going to the Ford dealership next time, which is in the same building and owned by the same owner, but a different corporation. The advisor proudly said I’m forced to go the them as Ford Dealerships are not authorized to work on motorhomes. Only RV dealerships can work on RVs and I’d have to go all the way to Portland to find the next RV dealer. This was not a good experience.

I stepped back in time 20 years. The salesmen were very patronizing & condescending. My name was spelled 3 different ways. Their routine # was given to me wrong, then the account # is wrong-4 trips to the bank. After driving a few hundred miles, I shared my annoyance with them and the response from all was dismissive. No one took any responsibility. Had 1 question about the rv- waited a week-nope nothing but a lame excuse - to my face. The only good guy was Josh who takes care of rvs. He was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions without the stupid bs I was getting from inside the dealership. Awesome is not how I would describe my experience

They claimed my starting battery was dead and would not hold acharge; but, in fact, the battery was fine. They claimed my shore power cord needed replacing; but, it was brand new and works fine. They claimed I had a propane leak and needed a new propane valve. My RV has a gas leak detection safeguard. I tested for a leak myself and did not find it. I was told an oil change was included in a service package I purchased and I was billed for it separately. They somehow damaged a cargo compartment door which they didn't address after bringing it to their attention. Since I could not trust the merchant any longer, I decided to cancel a part ordered. They told me the $980 prepaid part could not be canceled nor refunded. Despite the fact, they have not received it and actually, it had not been shipped to them yet.

Our experience at Awesome RV was great. Our salesman Phil was amazing. Jeremy communicated with us every step of the way while we waited for our trailer to be ready. They went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. I will not hesitate to do business with them in the future. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Has a great experience purchasing our RV. Phil was a GREAT salesman. He answered all of our questions, made great recommendations. We didn’t feel pressured at all. We went in to see a specific RV and turned out that was not the right one for us. We were there quite a while and Phil talked to us about each unit. We ended up looking at quite a few units and found the one we wanted. Very happy with it purchase, the experience and everyone we interacted with throughout the process.

Me and my wife found a trailer we liked online we contacted somebody over the internet and have been in contact with him over the phone for a few days negotiating prices I only wanted to do 500 - 1000 down on a trailer they told me if I were to bring in 1700 that they would make it happened however this was not the case I brought down 1700.00 and signed paperwork looked at the trailer I loved it I was supposed to pick it up a week later they didn't call to tell me that I wouldn't be picking up my trailer that they would not be selling me that trailer that they would be refunding me my $1,700 but I had to call myself to find this out only slowing me down on buying a different trailer I guess this would be understandable if I hadn't communicated that I didn't even want to check out a trailer and come down there with the deposit money unless I was buying and that nobody contacted me to tell me that I was getting a refund I'm also confused on why I had to wait on my money when I brought it in cash? however this first time trailer buying experience was supposed to be a good thing a non-stressful experience awesome RV made it the opposite of that I would suggest you get a trailer or rv for a lot less stress and a better price at South Hill rv they did they did me good after awesome RV wasted my time and took a free loan out on me for the week.

Absolutely trash.... We took our RV in for what we understood to be, a complete check of the gas and electrical stuff. Along with other things to insure it's ready for the road and camping this summer..... No no no.. they didn't even check our generator witch is currently leaking fuel. Obviously no one even turned that on. So how would they check to make sure our appliances operate as they should while camping? They didn't check any fuses we found few blown out. They didn't care to check wiper blades witch are in need of an adjustment or something. Drivers side isn't operating properly. Didn't care to check any of our plug ins . Like we really paid almost $500 just to have them turn on are stove and microwave and fridge whole the RV was running. And that's it on top of that we paid another $500 to replace a power cord that we thought was like a positive battery cable.
No they replaced our extended 220 cored that I am pretty sure wasn't even bad I just checked and used it a week before.
Then when I called to ask why it seems nothing was checked. I get, well if you wanna pay us $160 an hr to check those we can. Garbage...

Baydos RV Chehalis, WA is the best! In the last year I've taken in two fairly new electric camper coolers in for diagnostics and repair and have received excellent service. I was especially impressed with the manager and service personnel and their friendly, professional and timely customer service. Through no fault of their own, the coolers were not repairable. Even though they spent time and labor diagnoising the problems, I was not charged even the minimum service charge!
I would highly recommend this business for any RV service needed.

Typical auto dealership feel, sales person never took off his glasses, looked at any numbers either in any RV we were looking at, or on any list in his pocket, had an immediate number range for every query made, couldn't provide any reasonable direction, or assistance, didn't get our business.

Incredible sales person in Mike Darnell. He is extremely knowledgeable in travel trailers and was so willing to share it with me. As an owner himself of a travel trailer for many years, he has a wealth of information for first time buyers. He isn't the least bit pushy and goes out of his way to find you the trailer that fits your needs. Get in touch with him if you're in the market for an RV.

Came here for an oil change in my motorhome and was told I needed a complete brake rebuild with a cost estimate of $4,000. I found another garage to do the job for $2,500 and when that garage tore into the rv they said the brakes and all of the components were good as new. Obviously that garage wasn’t lying, who would pass up a huge job that would bring them tons of money? So I had to spent $500 to stay in an Airbnb while the garage waited on parts and then jacked my rv up to take off the tires only to discover the brakes are just fine. This has costed me so much money that was completely unnecessary. I told Awesome RV they better look into whatever tech said my brakes needed repaired because they are in great condition, so clearly someone is lacking some education. I wouldn’t come back to this garage. And I would highly recommend getting a second opinion if they tell you your car/rv needs a bunch of costly repairs.

My wife & I had just bought a newer used RV out of State and literally the day we bought it, it was vandalized. to say the least we were sick to our stomachs. After calling several RV repair businesses in our area we finally got a hold of Jim at Awesome RV and that’s when our luck changed for the better. Jim stayed in contact with us throughout the entire process, gave us a repair quote that day, took care of all the insurance stuff and after all the parts came in he was able to squeeze our trailer in for the needed repairs. The entire process was seamless and the repairs were completed perfectly. We can describe our experience with one word…. AWESOME! Thanks to Jim & all the folks at Awesome RV we are going to enjoy the rest of 2022 camping season.

We bought a 40ft 5th wheel from Chris woods at awesome rv last year and to this day we are still doing repairs on it, the trailer was supposed to have been gone through and checked out by the service department and if it was they should have never sold this unit, the black mold and rot that we have found and repaired is on going and trying to get rid of the musty smell is also on going I would not recommend buying a unit for them without an expert inspector going through it

I had a hub come apart on my RV while traveling through Washington, and went to Awesome RV for parts. I provided the parts manager with every detail, and requested the original parts (no shortcuts). They kept selling me the wrong parts, which I kept returning. After four trips, I started getting irritated, and communicated my frustration - without getting ugly. After five trips I finally got the parts I needed. They did try to make it right, and I hold no animosity. But, this is what happened to me. Four out of five is generous, but they really did try to make it right - and they truly seemed to understand my frustration.

Lairs, they said they would help us out even with bad credit, we told them about our credit before we even did an application. They said yeah we could help. Just trust us. Nope just another bad remark on our credit and no help. Don't trust them they can't tell you the truth. They only look out for themselves and are not by any means family friendly. Stay away.

Lance from the service department really saved this experience for us. The sales and finance department was not really a 5 star experience, at all. As their communications regarding our purchase was convoluted, at best. That being said, Lance, from the service department, really gave us 100%. He went over our rv with us from top to bottom, making sure every concern was addressed and going above and beyond to make up slack left by coworkers. Thanks for the attention to detail, Lance, we appreciate you!

I just bought a 22 ft passport from Kyle at awesome RV. He did the best he could to get me in this thing as quick as possible because I'm selling my house. He went over and under for everything. He is the best salesman I've ever met friendly kind just the kind of guy you want to hang out with. And he got me into my RV 3 days earlier than I needed it. I would recommend Kyle at awesome RV for any of your needs. Also if you just want to hang out with someone awesome. He's your guy. Thank you so much Kyle.

They live up to their "AWESOME" name in every way. Their sales staff bent over backwards to get us the most money possible for our trade in. They then took the time to drive us to the bank and made sure we were fully satisfied with our dealings, followed by shaking our hands to thank us.

These guys were kind of rude. This was our second trip there just to try and return a part we didn't need and didn't install it at all. It was still in the package with the receipt. I had to have Scott take it bk to them since he purchased it because they wouldn't do it for me. Was Bu@!%$*!t!

Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
