I didn't have a good experience with getting my Jeep serviced. The attention to detail and even blatant things were not there. This was going to be a 3-4 star review because I understand being short-staffed and overworked, but to have my car for 2 months, and not take the time to service/repair the vehicle correctly is unacceptable. I inspected the installation of new parts in the parking lot, and my Jeep's control arms were not tightened completely; though it was acknowledged, I was met with an attitude. During my drive home from the dealership, things felt odd, and I heard a clanking noise. It took me less than 10 seconds to see that both my front and rear axles were misaligned and that my tie rod and drag link steering components were colliding with each other. This means my front passenger side tire is sticking 3-4 inches outside the body of the car, while the front driver side is tucked 3-4 inches inside the body, and the rear tires are doing the same thing but in the opposite direction. It doesn't appear that they performed a quality check or test drove the car for assurance. This is not only a quality issue but a safety issue.

Tom Ritari in the Service Department is the “Template” of an employee for any company that values their image regarding Customer Service and Satisfaction. Over the past years and ownership of this dealership, the Service Department has been unreliable and unpredictable. Not all past experiences were negative, but the negatives far outpaced the positives. I hesitated to bring my Jeep to this dealership recently for an air conditioner repair based on the unpredictable nature of past experiences. I was blown away by Mr. Ritari’s professionalism, efficiency, and expedient handling of my repairs. All did not initially go well after the repair. I drove off the lot and my jeep was not functioning properly at all. I returned the following morning to a busy Service Department and was greeted by Tom, explained the situation to him, and was expeditiously moved to the highest priority of the day’s tasks.
Don’t let this man leave your employment. He is WHY I will continue doing business with Autostar in Silverthorne

Do not do business here. They charge double for parts, they will damage your vehicle and claim they didn't do, hold your car for over a week before texting you, not even a call. The manager will not talk to you on phone, says he will call and ghosts you. This place has been my shop for a few years but lost a repeat local Dodge vehicle owning customer. Oh, Mopar part costs 100 dollar and less the hour to fix, think about that, Customer service or caring about customers is why we pay extra at dealer.

Purchased a Ram truck from the dealership and had a few minor hiccups at first but I will say that Ben in Sales stepped up to the plate and not only made things right but also kept us in the deal. We ended up purchasing the truck and had a great experience making the deal. I really hope Ben gets the recognition for his professionalism and stepping up to help us.

It’s unfortunate, but I would not trust this dealership with my truck. I went in for a transfer case, differential fluid replacement. They gave me a price of $750. Then when I went to the parts department to ask the price of the differential oil they claimed it was an additional $695. Total rio off! Was able to get the exact same oil in Denver for 1/2 the price. These guys are very overpriced and not competitive. Go somewhere else.

Service techs were great, but general communication was very poor, hence the three-star rating. I was two hours away from the dealership, so I had to call in for updates as my vehicle broke down while I was passing through town. The phone was answered by a receptionist who directed my call, but it was never answered, so I rolled around back to the reception more times than I can remember. I was forwarded to the service manager, but it wasn't answered either, so I left a couple of voicemail messages for a return call, which never came. Fix your communication problem, and more stars will follow.

Bouight my 2024 Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon in for its first scheduled oil change under warranty. Pavel at the service desk was very polite and helpful. He kept me updated on progress and estimated time of completion. Unfortunately, it took 2-1/2 hours to complete the work. However, once completed, they could not provide my with a hardcopy of the receipt confirming the work that was done due to a computer error. I was sent a summary ticker later by e-mail. Once again Pavel did a great job.

My husband and I can not recommend this place enough. We would give hundreds of stars for the jeep service department, the sales team and managers! They all were friendly, knowledgeable and went abo e and beyond. I'm hoping they read this because Hawkeye wanted me to tell them all thank you and goodbye. BTW Hawkeye is our dog.
Service acted fast and fixed our 2014 jeep grand Cherokee so we could get back on the road. Customer service excellent.

1. I own a '24 Jeep...love it
2. Bought at another dealership but will ONLY have serviced at Auto-Star....and when there's a need to replace this one, I'll only buy at Auto-Star.
3.Pavel Blokhin at the desk was/is great.
4. Service was/is the same...as promised....and, done when Pavel said it would be.
5. I am quite pleased with Auto-Star.
6. Period.
PS: Waiting area was cleaner than my home and my home is really clean !!!

Believe or not, I'm from California and yes, I purchased a car from Autostar CDJR in Colorado. The car I wanted, with the package and 2nd row bench seat I wanted, did not exist in California, so I looked at the next best location. I contacted 3 dealerships, 2 in CO and 1 in TX. Autostar immediately stuck out by being very accomodating and not at all put off by the fact that I was not local. They even offered to assess and quote my potential trade in (spoiler alert, I traded it in to them). I worked with JD (Jhaden) in sales and received multiple videos/pics of the car I had my eye on. Receiving a very competitive offer on my trade in, along with the support from Autostar is what closed the deal. I worked with Ian (with assistance from David) in finance to get numbers and paperwork situated. We started the process on a Friday and by Monday my new car was being loaded onto transport. My new vehicle arrived in my driveway on Wendesday and my former vehicle was taken back on that same transport within 15 minutes. Ian/David were wonderful in working with me virtually and were readily available for all questions I had. JD was, and still has been amazing through the entire process! JD and I even had a zoom call once I was ready so that he could explain a lot of my new car's features to me. Customer service for Autostar CDJR of Silverthorne was TOP NOTCH and I would absolutely consider buying a car from them again, regardless of the distance! A+ guys, thanks so much!!!

Everything started off great. We came to an agreed price for our vehicle, and communication with Kylie was excellent—she was helpful, kind, and on top of everything. She even scheduled and paid for the vehicle inspection.

We brought the truck to meet two employees to sign paperwork. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication on their end about the meeting time, and the two men were clearly not happy. Despite that, we got everything signed and ready, but there was a small signature error on the title. Autostar claimed it wouldn't be acceptable in the state of Colorado.

They had the check in hand for the full agreed-upon amount, and every other document had been signed and notarized. We agreed they could take the truck, and we’d bring them a new title the next day in exchange for the check. We went to the DMV and were told the original title was acceptable—but we paid for a new one anyway to make it easier for Autostar.

That’s when everything fell apart. When we called to say we were ready to complete the deal, they suddenly claimed the inspection turned up $3,000 worth of issues and wanted to lower the offer by $3,500. Keep in mind, by this point, they had our truck and had driven it over 90 miles.

Then they claimed a second third-party inspection revealed even more issues and decided they didn’t want the truck at all. We’ve not had problems with this truck, and it had been very well maintained. I have been trying to reach them for a copy of the second inspection - received nothing, not even a call back.

So now, after having the truck in their possession, putting mileage on it, wasting our time, gas, and money for a new title—Autostar just walked away from the deal completely.

If they had accepted the original title, which the DMV confirmed was valid, this would have been done and dusted at the agreed price. Instead, they dragged us through a ridiculous process and left us worse off than before.

Total garbage experience. Don’t waste your time with Autostar.

This place is an absolute joke. Sleazy, dishonest employees are one thing—but the complete disregard for people’s time is next level. Repeated attempts to call and get answers go nowhere. Eventually, they say they’re “ready” for you—only for you to wait another 3 to 5 hours every time.

They sold me a used truck which was pretty shady in itself. I was told to come in for services promised at purchase, only to arrive and find the technicians had no clue about it. Even then, I was told “just another hour” again and again.

Avoid this place unless you enjoy being lied to and wasting your day.
Would absolutely recommend that NOONE come here.

This place is incredible. I really really wanted to buy a vehicle from here solely because of Dan's immense service to us not only yesterday, but in the past with my mom's car. I have been here for an appraisal before and it was fast, honest, transparent, and competitive. Although I personally have not found a vehicle here yet that works for me, though very close contenders, I am more than willing to trust this place with my friends, family, and community. Dan helped us look at a Hyundai and a Tacoma, since me and my mom we're looking. Dan not only gave us trusting and great test drive opportunities, but was honest about the vehicles, sparing no detail that may be of conflict to us. I appreciate honesty like this like no other. He not only helped us look at inventory, test drive, and even look at trade in values, but was willing to help fight for us with a lemon car we had bought in the front range. That is how you sell yourself to this community. You didn't just upsell or sell to us a product, you sold your integrity, transparency, loyalty, and communal values to us in a way that no D&H Fee could even put value to. I have found a vehicle for myself in a different lot, just purely based on timing, the year of the vehicle, and the trim. If that vehicle was on this lot, I would have paid extra to buy from this place. I am excited at the prospect of working here with my mom at least, and am very happy to say that this is a local business that I trust on the same tier as our emergency services in terms of reliability and consistency. Thanks for giving us a ton of hope and options!

This is an extremely incompetent and shady place to get work done. The service writers are just doing what their told but the mechanics, cashier and management are a real concern. I would absolutely steer clear and take your Dodge anywhere else.

I have my own code reader and stated the issue to be fixed. They told me that a $250 charge to do their own read would be removed if I got the work done. They reported the exact issue and the work was completed but they refused to remove the charge. The invoice also stated that only the housing was replaced and not the actual part but I was charged for the more expensive part. They were unable to verify parts, would not investigate further without additional charges and would not amend the invoice.

I was then told that I have a extremely dangerous issue on the front end that had to be addressed immediately at a cost of $3000. Upon inspection it was only a chunk of ice built up underneath rattling around. If I had trusted their mechanics word then I would have replaced a perfectly good front end, the ice would have melted resolving the real issue and been swindled out of a large amount of money.

First new to me vehicle I bought ,and it didnt come with a key. Will definitely not be back. I was disappointed with the overall experience, although I think buying a vehicle should be relatively simple and straightforward ,it should also come with a level of customer care expected when making a large purchase. Bought a truck from them and they never gave me the physical key that sits inside the key fob. Went back a week after purchase and they told me, they would not be willing to make me just the key without charge. Which is legal but what I expect from a crappy used car dealer, not a dealership that has the $5 key blank in stock and a machine that cuts it in less than 5 minutes. If you want a good, quality, and professional experience, do not go here.

Had some issues with our engine driving lean, and they were saying we needed to replace our catalytic converter (despite those codes not coming up) and quoted us $6,000+ in repairs, when all we needed was some fuel cleaner. Staff seemed nice, but I can't tell if they were being intentionally dishonest or somewhat incompetent yet well-intentioned.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike Schocket. This was my first ever experience buying/trading in a car and Mike couldn't have made this an easier process. I did not know much about the process, but Mike was sure to answer any and all of my questions and if he did not know the answer he was sure to find out. I really enjoyed my experience at first, but after leaving the lot things have changed. It has been two months since I purchased the vehicle and I still have not been able to register my car to receive my tags. AutoStar blamed this on the DMV, but after speaking with the DMV, AutoStar never did their part. I had been contacting the dealership multiple times and no one would get back to me. Not only have I had issues with getting my car registered, but I have only had the car for two months and I had to take it in for an alignment and to get the windshield wiper hose replaced because it has a tear and was sold to be with the tear as well as out of line.

My husband and I broke down on a Sunday drive. My radiator blew along with the hoses and thermostat. Luckily, silverthorn had a dodge jeep ram location so we ended up getting it towed there and did a night drop. The next day, it was a little difficult to get in touch with a service advisor regarding repairs as there was only one service advisor working. Regardless, the service advisor was pleasant to work with and knew that we lived all the way in springs. He was able to get in touch with our warranty folks and within 2 days the vehicle was done. He even took $200 off our bill since this was freak accident. When we arrived, we didn't receive great customer care as the gentleman helping was eating food while working with us along with giving us the keys and expecting us to find out jeep. The jeep ended up being in a separate parking lot across the street so we had to hitch a ride to just go look for the car. Besides these areas of improvement, the service for the problem was good and my jeep is working perfect now. Thank you to the service advisor and mechanics that helped with this!

Best.Service.Ever.

Just wrapped up an exceptional service experience for my Jeep Sahara. George is my service representative. Everything was great starting with the initial call to make the appointment, scheduling a time that worked for both of us, the actual appointment was smooth, waiting room clean and very comfortable, and fair prices. George communicated clearly at every interaction and he is personable and pleasant. Without hesitation I recommend Auto Star Jeep Service, and especially George.

I purchased my first new to me used car from this dealership a few months ago, and unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. From the moment I brought the car home, I encountered many issues, including features that were selling points for me didn't work. Despite reaching out for assistance, I have not received the support I expected from the dealership.

On a positive note, George, the mechanic, has been incredibly helpful and has gone above and beyond to assist me, for which I am very grateful. However, I was taken aback by the rude behavior of one of the managers, which only added to my frustration.

Looking back, I regret not having the car inspected by a third-party mechanic before purchasing, even though I trusted the dealership. Unfortunately, it seems I’ll have to continue dealing with these issues for the foreseeable future. Highly recommend staying away unless going to see George.

My experience was horrible. The Manager said the salesperson would answer all of my questions. When I told her I wanted to look at new vehicles, she took me to the used ones. She could not answer one question. Not one. If she was training, why would the manager say this and why wouldn't someone else help her? I have been to many dealerships in my life. This was my worst experience. Hate to say it, just saying how I feel based on the bad experience.

You can make an appointment but it doesn’t seem to matter. An oil change and a tire rotation should not take 3 and a half hours. We were told the car would be ready at 1:30. It’s now 3pm and we are still waiting. Do not get your car serviced here.

Stopped at Auto Star to see if they had any work trucks on their lot. I was quickly introduced to Mike Schocket who was great and didn’t waste my time. No expecting to buy a truck that morning, Mike worked very patiently with me and my partners to make this deal happen. Their team was really nice and helpful with any all questions I threw at them. Whatever you do, DO NOT buy or lease a vehicle from this dealership. We leased a vehicle in August and the paperwork was not completed (on their part) for 21 days, yet we had possession of the car. We then went to get the car titled and registered at the DMV 2 months later and we couldn't do it as the dealership had not sent over any paperwork. When the dealership was asked about ANY of this, they treat you like you have done something wrong, are being ridiculous for asking and completely speak to you in a demeaning and condescending fashion. I had left a message for the general manager to return my call, and I received no call back. Bad customer service. Horrible. Good leadership starts at the top. It speaks volumes as to how the manager of the dealership feels about their customers. Clearly no one cares. Save yourself the trouble. The car buying process should be easy and straightforward...NOT with this dealership.

This is the worst experience I have ever had getting my car serviced. My new Jeep would not started. I called the service center and they said it was ok to have it towed in. After getting it towed in I called multiple times for 3 days, and no one from the service center would call me back. I finally had to show up in person to get an answer. After they finally looked at my car after 3 days. It need a sensor that needed to be ordered they told me 2 days. I waited 2 days for the part and called multiple times for 2 days before any would talk with me. The customer service at this dealership is a joke. I would not NEVER bring my car to them again. It is clear they don’t car about their customers. They can’t even call anyone back. I would not recommend anyone take there car here unless you want to get the run around from the service dept.

I had a great experience at Autostar today. All of the employees were so courteous and helpful, especially Pavel in the Subaru Service side and Priscilla in Sales, who made sure I had everything I needed even though I was only there for a service:) The lounge/waiting area was clean, comfy and spacious, with a nice refreshment station offering coffee, tea and snacks. I was able to find a quiet spot to work for 4 hours while waiting for my car. This was my first time having my vehicle serviced at Autostar and I will definitely be coming back!

George (service writer) and Brian (service mechanic) at AutoStar Jeep in Silverthorne really impressed me by going above and beyond!! I wanted to upgrade my 2021Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a lift kit and chose the Mopar 2” lift kit to make sure everything was compatible with my Wrangler. George was patient with all my questions and concerns and validated the answers. George also worked hard to find a workable install date that met my schedule.
Once in the shop I asked if I could meet with the mechanic to ask a few more technical questions. He introduced me to Brian, the mechanic, and I quickly realized that my Rubicon was in very capable hands. Brian described the process and explained why they performed the work in certain ways to make sure it kept its “road manners”. Both Brian and George kept me updated during the install since I waited there at the dealership. Also, several staff members checked on me during the day to see if I needed anything while I waited. Priscilla especially took the time to ask about my Jeep and how I liked it.
Honestly I was reluctant to have this work done at a dealership due to all the horror stories, but I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience at this AutoStar Jeep dealership. I was so impressed that I brought it back two weeks later for other service work! AutoStar Jeep stands out as a dealership that does great work and stands behind their promises! FYI, the lift works fantastic!

They had the exact car I was looking for, and everybody was so friendly! Mike was amazing, he even gave me a bunch of tips for driving my first standard transmission which was a blessing. Overall a great car buying experience for someone like me who is inexperienced.

had a really good experience at Autostar Suburu in Silverthorne. My repair was done under warranty & Matt, my service advisor, was patient, helpful, and great at troubleshooting and addressing my issue. The waiting area was comfortable & the bathrooms were spotless. When it turned out that I needed a loaner, Maggie was really helpful & quick to get me on my way. A special thank you to Hunter who, in addition to title work, does a SUPER job of stocking the coffee & snack area. It was really nice to have so many options, including lots of my personal favorites & several healthy choices! Lots of items for kids too. So cool, and all too rare, to witness people who take so much pride in their job & care so much about their clients!

I work with George in service and always appreciate the transparency and communication. I’ve never had a negative experience. The service manager is just as helpful and courteous with our needs. I have a 19 Ram with some engine stuff even Stellantis can’t figure out. So the team here has done what they can for now. They are always flexible and accommodating. Clean showroom and waiting room, easy access. I actually don’t dread service with this dealership. They even offer online pay to keep pick up quick and efficient.

Don't waste your time! I want to give zero stars but can't. I should have known when I scheduled my 50,000 mile maintenance appointment online and then showed up for my scheduled appointment and they were like "oh our systems are messed up, we don't actually have a spot for you today" and had to wait another 2 weeks to get in. After 4 days of no contact and no response to calls, I stopped by to find that no service had been performed. When I asked why, George (the guy who was "helping me") said, "we only did the diagnostic-- you'll have to schedule another appointment for the actual work". No thanks, I'll find someone else to do the work in a timely manner who actually communicates effectively!

Easiest and most accommodating car buying experience I’ve ever encountered. Van, the owner called me directly and helped me work through the financing process over the phone after submitting an online application. Along with his finance staff they were able to secure a better interest rate than I’d expected. And then the owners son Dylan who is new to the industry took care of all of the paperwork and test drive quicker than most seasoned veterans in the industry. The car was in great detailed condition and the finance department had some great technology to digitally sign all documents. Which made everything go very quickly. We were there 1 hour total and out the door. Again, top notch service from these guys !!! If you’re buying a car I highly recommend them.

cant get anyone in service to answer the phone or return voicemails left. have called for over a week trying to reschedule a service apt and now has beena full week since my first voicemail and still no call back. It would be nice if their service dept could actually function with basic duties like answering or returning phone calls.

I would avoid this place if you can.

Editing review to update. New management is no different. At least with groove you could actually get through on the phone and talk to a human. Good luck with that now with auto star using some dated automated phone service. Numerous dealers in Denver worth the drive and time spent to get there.
