I hired 5280 Exteriors for a gutter replacement project, and while I realize it was not a large project for them, it was significant for me.

When I hired 5280 Exteriors, I did not realize they did not perform any of the work themselves. This meant that 100% of the work was done by subcontractors, and therefore, subject to their exclusions of "out of their control" according to their contract. Realize when you deal with 5280, that so long as everything goes well, that's great. If it doesn't the contract is EXCEPTIONALLY ONE SIDED, SUCH THAT THE HOMEOWNER HAS NO RIGHTS. I put the scheduling delays clause, the fact that cleanup was included in my proposal, and the other one sided terms in the contract here for your perusal. Be aware of this! No matter what they say on the phone, it's irrelevant, because all that matters is what's in the contract.
5280's president, Bryce, assured me the crew would arrive first thing in the morning for the demo so my painters could work that day. The crew arrived after 3 pm. They got "held up at another job," but it doesn't matter, because any losses you have don't matter. The next time they were supposed to arrive first thing, they arrived mid morning, took items off the truck, and promptly left. Fantastic. When I came home, the home was strewn with trash and nails. Unbelieveable.
The contract terms matter, unless of course, they are responsible to clean up... then 5280 can leave 6" nails all over the client's property first, this happened when they tore down the gutters. They emptied the gutter contents all over the new paint work, and when they left the job, the crew left the whole property strewn with nails, bits of aluminum in the grass. Have dogs who need to go out? It doesn't matter. They will have to wait until after the weekend. The contract doesn't say when it will be cleaned up.
Yeah, my gutters look nice, but I would have rather been treated like a person than a trash pile.

5280 Exteriors is a rare find in terms of customer service / customer relations as well as delivering a quality product for a reasonable price.
We chose 5280 primarily based on the good reviews on Google and we weren't disappointed.
Every step in the process of getting our siding project underway and to completion went smoothly with help from all the people involved. First we worked with David Hanna to decide on type of siding and insulation value. David was innovative in showing us a way to get maximum insulating R value at the best cost. He also was very responsive when we had questions and he went above and beyond in going to the distributor to get a length of siding in a color we thought we might like but after seeing it we went with another color.
Matias was our project manager and he was also very responsive to our questions or concerns. The crew he managed was first rate as they worked from start in the morning to finish at night with only a short break for lunch. And they did a great job - our siding looks really good !
I did have a few things I hadn't realized that needed fixing after the job was done and after texting 5280 Bryce (the owner) called and asked about the things I wanted done and then he quickly arranged for 3 different workers to come by and take care of the issues.
I can't stress enough what a pleasure it was to do business that truly puts their customers first and if we happen to need a new roof anytime in the future 5280 will be the only call I make.

I had first worked with Tood before he left the company and was very pleased and comfortable working with him but everything went downhill after that. The process lasted a long 7 months start to finish.

- The wrong color siding was ordered despite clarification
- Poor communication was the trait that was made most apparent often- I was responsible for calling 5280 multiple times to pickup the dumpster (twice), reorder the correct colors, schedule work, etc. Communication was on point to collect payment however. I called frequently and even asked a higher up to reach out to no avail.
- The wrong color gutter was installed despite clarification. I had rain barrels and asked that the hardware not be disposed of yet had to dumpster dive to retrieve them. The downspout was then installed to flow directly into the wooden fence post inches away.
- Probably 100 nails/ screws were picked up afterwards. One lodged itself into my tire sidewall. There was a large amount of trash I collected personally from the job and workers.
- I went through and completed many tasks myself including securing the gutter/ electric outlets/ caulking/ reorienting downspout but eventually got to the point that I just wanted to be down and move on.

I gather that ordering the incorrect colors initially pushed the work back and I had to be sandwiched in between other jobs, resulting in a lack of attention to detail and communication; alternatively It was a smaller job so it did not carry that large of a payout.

I really just wanted some sense of ease and with all of the hiccups, some sort of discounted rate. Will update accordingly if the response received is more than a generic "please contact our office" as I did. Many times.

Choose this company. From the sales rep, Dave to the owner, Bryce. These folks do business the way it should be done.

Communication went above and beyond expectations. The construction was professional, with excellent crafts skills. We had a custom color, 5280 matched our color perfectly. There was a mismatch with the Chalk, Terry came to me and told me they were not happy with the custom color of the chalk. They chose to remix the color and come back. The finishes are beyond our expectations.

Communication is always key on a project on this size. 5280 exteriors kept Me in the loop as every decision was being made.

Now I will say your company did a decent job on our neighbors house. However, from just after 8 in the morning to after 5pm the workers at our neighbors house blasted music so loud it can be heard clearly inside our house. Attached is a video from my closed bedroom window showing how you can hear the “music”.

5280 Exterior did an excellent job with my window project. They were available to quickly get out to the house to assess the job and gave a competitive quote. They were easy to work with to schedule the work and did a great job installing the windows.

We had a great experience with 5280 Exteriors! During the 2023 hail storm season, our house was hit HARD. A Claim was filed with our insurer, which was paid out. Victor, Bryce, Matias, and Claire spent the better part of a year meeting with us, discussion options, providing quotes (and ammendments to quotes), and getting the project estimated JUST right to make it our desired outcome. I will say, while not the cheapest option in town, they certainly provide a quality above expectations! Well done team.

Our house looks so much nicer after working with 5280. It was a lot of work, but once the team was finished my husband and I were very happy with the look of our house and the quality of the James Hardie materials used.

After 31 years of maintaining cedar siding on our home in the mountains, the sun, rain, snow and hail had taken its toll. Not looking forward to replacing warped boards and painting again, it was time for new siding, roof and gutters. Choosing James Hardie siding was a no brainer decision. In the mountains with wildfire and sever weather, the quality, beauty and fire resistance of this product had us sold. Now our only decision was who to hire for this work. When we went out for bids, lowest price was not the most important element. Certainly reasonable costs were a factor. However even a good product such as Hardie can be installed poorly.

In my younger years I did some home building, roofing and lots of remodeling work. So we appreciate craftsperson quality work. After reviewing multiple offers we decided to put our home in the hands of 5280 Exteriors. We have never made a better decision! After meeting with each company, every step of the discussions including price, design options, materials beyond the Hardie products, installation details, and very importantly our ability to maintain communications throughout each phase of construction, 5280 stood out heads above the other companies.

Victor was our first 5280 specialist who walked around our house and answered every question we had. And to my wife’s delight he was prepared to listen to questions about design options and offer advise on mixing Hardie products. We met with Matias, our project coordinator who immediately set up a text chat-line connecting us with crew leaders, and himself for immediate answers to our questions. We never waited for responses!

When a contractor lays out a timeline for a project I usually roll my eyes and say “That would be nice.” What a surprise, 5280 met every deadline and contacted us immediately when the inevitable weather delay occurred. The work completed by each crew for siding, roofing and the gutters was incredible. They all showed a commitment to quality and ingenuity for solving problems. My wife and I both say, that was money well spent.

The final product was excellent and the quality of work was also excellent. With many companies to choose from for siding, I personally feel the size of 5280 as a company is perfect as they were excellent with fine details, yet still personable and a fair price. I interviewed 6 window company’s and I chose 5280 Exteriors because they have a great product and it was within my price range. They were the only company that offered variations in the tinting per window based on where the sun was more intense. The installation crew showed up on time, were very skilled, and respective of my property. The installation was completed on time and any issues were corrected quickly.

We chose 5280 for our whole house exterior redesign - including new Hardie siding, all new windows, front door, and enlarging existing openings for a new sliding glass and french doors to our backyard. David was amazing to work with throughout - including helping us as we navigated an insurance claim, giving us design ideas, working with us on colors, and spending the time with us to make sure the outcome would be fantastic. Which it is and we absolutely love how our project turned out - it truly stands out in the neighborhood after the upgrades. 5280 Exteriors was easy to work with, especially for a major renovation such as having the old original exterior of the house removed and replaced with James Hardy siding. I anticipated a week plus job duration but the large crew had the entire job completed in 2.5 days, even after discovering that the entire house was going to need new sheathing. They were very thorough, professional and efficient. So much so that during the final walk through inspection, not a single thing had to be addressed. Read that statement again. The before and after difference was nothing short of transformational. One neighbor already took their contact information for a future exterior renovation. If you are in the market for this type of renovation, you owe it to yourself to at least speak with and get an estimate from 5280 Exteriors. You will be glad you did.

Hired 5280 Exteriors to replace all the siding and trim on my house. We went with the Hardie Board. David H., the salesman, is the best part about working with 5280. He came out multiple times, answered texts and phone calls, and his design input was great, but that's also his job. I had no interaction with Bryce, the owner, so can't speak to that. Mattias, the project manager, I believe made about four visits, each maybe 15 minutes or less, in the almost 10 day project - only took that long due to poor weather. To start, they use galvanized nails for the actual siding which is awesome and great; however, for the trim boards, they use electro-galvanized trim nails. You can google electro-galvanized nails and see whether they are best for outdoor use. When I asked about this, I was told not to worry and that the workers will fire the nails deep into the trim and then cover all the nail holes with caulk. Please see attached photos as there are many trim nails, most are exposed and some are even sticking out with paint dabbed on them. Where ever the siding meets the trim, the team was suppose to caulk I was told. There are mutiple places where no caulk was applied with gaps big enough to see the house wrap underneath. See photos. Yes, the house wrap is meant to protect under the siding from moisture, but if you're relying on that, why even bother caulking at all?
There are areas where the caulking is already failing/peeling. Underneath the butt joints, where the siding is end to end, there is suppose to be thin metal flashing so when water gets in the narrow gap, it can drain and not reach the under side. Again, see photos. Joint with no flashing underneath. One of the workers damaged the brick, when they were installing the trim around the front door. Accidents do happen on a job this big, but I wished they would have at least told me about it, instead of acting like nothing happened. No final inspection was scheduled where concerns and issues can be raised.

5280 was great. It was easy to get an estimate and they didn’t try to pressure me into making a decision right then like other companies did. Of the six estimates I got, they were in the lower end of pricing for insulated vinyl siding. They were easy to communicate with and even came back to my house a couple times for follow up questions I had while we were still deciding who to go with. The material arrived and the crew was ready to do the work ahead of schedule. The crew was polite, professional, and did great work. They cleaned up after each day and made sure there wasn’t any debris/nails in my driveway. I definitely recommend them and would choose them again.

Everyone was professional and polite and the installation occurred without any issues. The end result is beautiful and has done everything they promised as far as sound and temperature regulation. It took a little longer to get the windows made than I would have liked but they did a good job of responding to me and communicating the timelines. All-in-all I am very pleased with this choice.

We hired 5280 Exteriors to replace our siding and they've been wonderful to work with. The work was done in a reasonable time-frame and the people doing the work were great. We are very happy with the finished product.

As with any project, there was a bit of debris and I did feel the need to check the driveway for nails and screws each day after they left as I'd frequently find ones that were missed.

My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was some lack of communication. The backing used by the original builder of the home clearly needed to be replaced as they used scraps of various materials instead of plywood. This resulted in a change order since it was unforseen and while we were good with the change, we didn't find out how much the change would cost until we got the final invoice. It would have been helpful for us to get an estimated change cost when we find out additional work was needed. There were other minor miscommunications related to the gutters and some beams.

Again, overall our experience was great!

5280 were an absolute pleasure to work with. We hired them to replace the siding on our house. At the time we were also getting our deck replaced. 5280 were so understanding and patient with us, as we wanted to get deck done before siding. They were willing to wait for that other project to complete.

And one the siding job started, they did a fantastic job. They completed the project within a week, and it looks fantastic. The crew were outstanding and take great pride in what they do.

Communication was very good

They were the low cost bid in the Metro for Anlin windows. They did a good job installing. I watched the install, they did everything to best practice, all windows operate correctly and look good, are flashed and foamed properly with quality materials.

We can't thank 5280 Exteriors enough for all they did for us! From the sales team, to the crews, to management and the front office - this might have been the nicest and most personable company we've ever worked with. We had to replace the roof, gutters and 14 windows that were damaged from a recent hailstorm. They worked within our budget (even with our initial high deductible), gave a number of options, and by then end we even were able to upgrade our roof to a Class IV to help out with our insurance going forward. We had a wonderful personal experience with them! Would do business we them again in a heartbeat.

If you’re looking to do an exterior remodel look no further. Bryce and his team did top shelf work on my home. I can’t recommend them enough. I’d give 10 stars if I could. I don’t have a single negative thing to say about the job they did. Their salesman, Dave, is a great guy! Everyone involved in this project was fantastic. We had to replace quite a few windows after the hailstorm last May. They made it simple and stress free. They were respectful of the property and did a fantastic job protecting the floors and cleaning up. And the new windows are significantly better than the builder grade ones we had from before. Highly recommend and we'll definitely use them again when we're ready to replace the remaining windows down the road.

Fantastic professionalism and customer support and the best experience working through a complicated situation. My siding was badly damaged on the north side of my house and initially my insurance company only approved coverage for that area. 5280 Exteriors was the only contractor willing to work with me for a partial siding replacement and stay within my limited budget. After another lengthy appraisal, the insurance company approved coverage for the entire house. Tim and Bryce were patient and flexible with readjusting the the project parameters and helped me stay within the new budget. Their team was available for questions from start to finish and I greatly appreciated their willingness to work with my finances while waiting to receive the insurance claims. The project crew was efficient, friendly, and meticulous. They worked through inclement weather conditions and were very mindful of keeping the backyard and gate safe for my puppies. Details needing attention on the final walk through were taken care of quickly and my final invoice matched the original bid. My corner home went from neighborhood eyesore to a proud display of craftsmanship. I will absolutely keep 5280 Exteriors in my contacts for future projects.

We had our sliding glass door replaced by 5280 Exteriors because our current door had been shattered by a tiny rock. I’m so glad I went with them, their product and service was better than other companies that we received quotes from. The sliding glass door had to be custom ordered which took a while but once it arrived it took them only a few hours to install. They left my house clean and were very professional throughout. I will definitely be hiring them for my next exterior renovation needs.

5280 just finished some work at our house and all I can say is that I wish we would have found them sooner! They have very quick communication which was appreciated. The work done was phenomenal. Very happy with our new Hardie siding installed by 5280 Exteriors! Our original contractor took 5 months to get back to us with a quote and 3 months later, still gave us the run around on when he could start. We called 5280 Exteriors and they were able to start our project within 2 weeks and it was done in a week! We should have called them much sooner but most Denver-based companies refuse to come to our area in Pine but it wasn’t a problem at all for them. Recently had hail Damage to my house. I called them to have them come out to assess my house and so I could see if I wanted to work with them. When I called they told me they don't work with insurance companies. I hired a different company that is working with my insurance and it is going seamless.
Imagine not being willing to work with insurance companies in hail prone Colorado.
Then they called me back 2 weeks later to see if I had the insurance company come out. So they want the business after I have done the work.

After searching low and high (for years) for an exterior remodel contractor (siding, roof, and windows), we found 5280 Exteriors. Bryce, Tim, and their team were responsive, professional, and patient. After the design phase, when it came time for the construction, they had good communication, were on time every day and worked diligently with an obvious pride in what they do. Post-construction, Bryce has provided excellent responsiveness and attention to the punch-list. In short, based on our experience, I recommend them without reservation.

After an arduous bidding and vetting process, we chose 5280 Exteriors, because they had the very best price (by quite a lot) for installing the very best siding: James Hardy Siding. I have never witnessed a better team in action from start to finish. Once work started, this team worked ceaselessly from dawn till dusk each day until it was done, and I have never seen such craftmanship or quick reactions to any concerns we had, which were virtually nonexistent throughout install. We went from fearing that the soundness of our home was being compromised by rotting, disintegrating original soffits and siding from 1978 that just couldn't be repaired and repainted any further to having the nicest looking house on the block and the peace of mind that comes with knowing our siding is now guaranteed for 50 years (twice-baked/pre-baked paint on the siding guaranteed not to need to be painted for 15 years). We will literally never have to worry about this again and can finally turn our attention to the inside of our home. It now feels worth investing in again. I cannot say enough about Bryce, Victor, and the entire team - especially the crew that worked on our house - at 5280 Exteriors. The finished work is simply magnificent. We could not be more pleased. Victor Ulman estimated a new entry door, patio door, and gutters for my mom's house. He worked with me every step of the way to complete the project for her. He explained the project multiple times to both me and my mother. We were both really pleased with the outcome. I HIGHLY recommend this company, they were fairly priced, professional, and honest.

If you would like to be treated poorly and rudely by their phone staff, this is the company for you. If you want to have appointments mischeduled and have them tell you it's not their problem, this is the company for you. I was recommended to them and thought they would provide a fine product, but couldn't even get to the next steps.

Alberto and his crew did an outstanding job of installing my three panel, sliding glass doors. Their work was clean and efficient. They left the room in perfect condition. The doors look wonderful from both the inside and out. Alberto also took the time to repair some locking issues from the first installation of other sliding glass doors. Everyone is impressed with how my doors look from the outside of this condominium complex. 5280 has set the standard for how this complex should look bringing a fifty year old building up to date. I could not be more pleased with how the company communicated their timing and the five star work their employees did.

5280 Exteriors Were absolutley amazing. Right from the get go We dealt with Victor who came out and inspected and quoted the job to replace the siding on my house. He was prompt and thorough. We decided to move forward and get the job done. Day of the repairs to start, the crew that was sent out was on time and Were very proffensional and hard working. They did an amazing job installing the siding and and even better job at cleaning up when done. I think my yard was cleaner then when they arrived. 5280 Exteriors was overall very proffesional and highly recommend them for any Exterior work needed!

5280 Exteriors is one, of a very few, of the absolutely best companies I’ve ever dealt with. They gave me a highly accurate estimate for a job – 11 new Anvil windows, James Hardie siding and new larger gutters - that came in within $800 of the initial estimate. Note that an estimate from another well-advertised Denver company was just over twice the cost, without new gutters!

Two of my friends, who’ve been in construction nearly all their life, estimated the entire job would take a week to 10 days; it was done in 4.5 days. There were 9 people for the initial tear off of the old siding. The crew of about 6 remained for the installation of the siding and for the first 2 days, 2 more craftsman replaced all the windows. I say craftsman because they ALL were highly skilled and extremely efficient. I was quite impressed with there work …right down to the excellent and highly critical caulking job at the end.

One item they pointed out to me: Now is the time to replace your outdoor lighting, screen doors, etc. Basically, they will replace whatever they have to take off so, if YOU buy a new replacement (that fits in the old area) they will install it.

I did treat the crew very well even though they did not ask for anything. It was REALLY HOT in mid-June and I brought them with everything from coffee and breakfast burritos in the morning to Gatorade, water and ice every day. Again, these craftsmen were doing the most important work on my home in 44 years and it was well worth it. They were very happy to be working here and I really did miss them when they were done. Thank you ALL for such a wonderful job and a truly wonderful experience; 5280 IS THE BEST!

From start to finish, this company was easy to work with. Todd was very professional and took a sincere interest in our need for windows. I felt confident in my decision to have 5280 replace my windows. The crew that installed the windows was polite and cleaned up at each segment of the job.
I was totally impressed with the whole process and highly recommend Todd and the rest of the company.

These guys painted the outside of our house two years ago. The project manager never showed up and not really sure what he did at all. After two days the entire crew stopped showing up, only one person showed on day 3. They redid a part of our deck too and left screws and nails all over the backyard. The reason I am writing this two years later is because they left so much tape on our house from the painting. I included one photo here but there are three other spots they left the tape too. All of them too high for me to reach. Look elsewhere if you are considering this company.

From the very first contact with Todd, this company was great to work with. They replaced all 19 of our windows in two days with a quality product and an outstanding installation team. I highly recommend them.

We just had some siding work done on our house and deck and the entire house painted. I would not hire them again and would not recommend them to family, friends, or neighbors looking to get work done. Our experience working with Tim for the quote was great, which is why we went with 5280 Exteriors. Once the contract was signed, we were told Bryce would be our project manager, but really he seemed too busy to actually manage our project. 5280 contracts out its actual painting work, so we expected Bryce to show up on the first day to do a walk through with the crew to make sure everything about the project was communicated correctly and that didn't happen. Instead, my husband and I felt like we had to manage the project while we juggled working from home with a toddler. If we had planned on this/wanted to do this, we would have just hired a crew directly ourselves and saved money. The most expensive line item was primer, and had we not been working from home we would have never noticed that step was just being skipped - something Bryce apologized for when I called but made us realize we would have been out a lot of money for something we never had done. There was also a duplicate charge on our initial quote that we didn't catch until later and both those things left a sour taste in our mouth - unsure if it was just bad project management or the company just charging for things that weren't getting done. The crew did a good job with the work until there were about 90% done and then just didn't show up to complete the job. It took many calls and texts to finally get someone out to finish it. We picked up tons of nails, screws, and trash ourselves between that time since it wasn't safe for our toddler or dog to be out in the yard with how things were left. There are many companies that provide a finished project that looks good, so I'd recommend going with one of them to save yourself a headache. Wish we had gone with someone else.
