Being a first time homeowner I’ve never had to deal with roofing issues before so when a limb fell in a recent storm and speared my roof I didn’t know what to do. I called a few different places to get estimates and Andrew’s was the one that really stood out. They were so nice on the phone getting an appointment set up, Ricardo came out the very next day to do the estimates and that night I had it along with photos that explained how they would do the repair. It was the attention to detail, the professionalism and the willingness to explain the process that really sold me. Christian called me to get the repair scheduled and they were able to come out that night to get started. The team showed up like 20 minutes later and they were done within an hour. They even cleaned out the gutter! I don’t know the other guys’ names but they were all professional and respectful and I can’t say enough nice things. Less than 5 business days after making that first call to them the repair is done and it looks great. Other companies I called never even got back to me. Andrew’s took a situation I’d never dealt with before and made it so easy. This company has won my future business for sure and I’ll recommend them to anyone who needs this kind of service. A few years ago I'd hired Andrew's Roofing to replace the roof on my house and garage and was very happy with the service and work. Since then they've expanded, adding siding to their repertoire, so I decided to hire them once again to reside my garage which was in desperate need of it. After an initial visit to their office, Andres guided me through the process of deciding which materials to use, created a cool digital 3D visual of the finished project, and addressed all of my questions from a wealth of knowledge. Costs, billing & payment expectations, and invoices were all clear and concise. Once the work began the crew put down protective tarps during the demo process and kept the worksite tidy throughout the job's duration. Some minor damage did occur to an area of my garage's plywood, but it was rectified without any hassle. The crew was also able to install a new light fixture, which I provided and cleared with them first, at the peak of the garage which was greatly appreciated! Throughout the entire process there was great communication and after it was all said and done Andres was present for the final walkaround. I could tell he was proud of the work he and his crews do and I'm happy to have been able to support this local, family owned business; would highly recommend.

Very polite and efficient roofing and gutter crew. They were safety conscious, chocking the tires on their trailers and clearing up demolition debris. It was great to have physical samples to available during the decision process to compare against our existing siding and shutters.

This is a very good company. Best experience I've had with a contractor. They responded quickly to my request for an estimate for new gutters. They called the day after giving the estimate with dates for doing the work and kept me informed. Work was completed in one day. Pricing was competitive and I'm more than satisfied with the final work.

I don't often leave reviews, but I wanted to make sure I did for this one.

TLDR; These guys are great, fair priced, very communicative, and will get the job done and make it right if you're unsatisfied.

I reached out to Andrews Roofing to fix a chimney stack leak, and to replace an old and damaged water heater flue pipe.
Trevor G. came out and took a look at things and had a quote in my hands the same day. He was super friendly, and we chatted about some hobbies we had in common.

Frankly, I was quite surprised by the very fair price for the quoted work, so I signed off on it, and they got me on the schedule right away.
When their crew showed up and got to working on things, they found a ton of rotted wood on our chimney stack due to a shotty siding job someone else had done before we owned the house. They recommended just removing the whole wooden stack that the chimney pipe ran through, and putting pipe flashing around the pipe, and then re-roofing that area.

Even though this threw off the project a bit and wasn't in the original scope of work, they were able to get the job done right without changing the price I agreed to pay.
Also, while they were up there, they ended up replacing each and every pipe boot on my roof and garage free of charge, which was greatly appreciated.

I was very satisfied with their work, except for a couple small things.
One, they didn't really clean up at all. Nails and other trash were left everywhere around my yard and on my roof/in my gutters.
Two, they forgot to caulk a few nail heads on some of the pipe boots.
I expressed my concerns, and they apologized and let me know that is NOT the standards they uphold.
They came back out to fully clean all nails and debris, made sure to look back over all pipe boots and ensure everything was caulked correctly, and even gave me a great discount on some additional work I requested them to do on my garage roof (installing some box vents). Shout out to Oscar and Trevor for making it right.

When I expressed my concerns and issues with their original work, they came back and made it right, which is exactly how a business should be ran.
They listened, apologized many times, corrected the issues, and gave me a discount on additional work. Other businesses should take notes.

I plan on going with Andrews Roofing for any roofing needs in the future!

After sustaining major hail damage to our property, we contracted with Andrew's Roofing to complete our repairs. Without doubt, it was the best decision we have made in a long time. Each subsequent crew replaced roofs on both our house and garage, replaced siding on the garage, repaired and painted stucco on our house, and replaced trim, gutter and downspouts on all structures. The crews were exceptionally courteous and completed their tasks professionally and efficiently. And they cleaned up their work areas completely - a major plus! First off, BRAVO! Andrews Roofing has the best employees I’ve ever met. The sales Rep we worked with, Trevor Gooding, listened to our wants and needs and did all he could to meet them. Andrews Roofing's expertise and work saved me loads on my energy bills! I recently moved into my home only to find a large portion of the kitchen, dining room and living room seemed to be impossible to keep cool. It wasn't unheard of for the rooms to reach 83 degrees at times with temps got high outside. I believed there was an issue going on with the ventilation of my home. After placing calls with seven local area roofing companies and being told there was little chance that ventilation could be the issue or that the company didn't "deal with ventilation and that I should call an HVAC specialist", I finally came across Andrews. They gave me a call, scheduled an appointment, showed up on time, explained everything to me that was indeed going on with inadequate ventilation in my roof space, gave me a comprehensive quote, and discussed a few solutions they suggested to help keep costs down. After completing the work, my home has not registered above 73 degrees even on 100 degree days. When no one else would listen, let alone come out and look at my home, these guys did! They were fantastic to work with and I couldn't recommend them more. My home is finally cool and comfortable! Thank you!

We contacted Andrew's Roofing for a quote and Trevor can out with the quote. Trevor brought to my attention the exhaust fans were not venting properly when all the other companies just threw us a basic quote. I was impressed with Trevor's attention to detail and quick responses. My wife does daycare, so being considerate for her needs, the crew arrived on a Saturday at 7:30 am and the roof, clean-up, and our walk around by Geraldo was complete at 5:00 pm. The whole crew did an awesome job from start to finish as well as providing quick responses and caring for all of our concerns. I would definitely hire them again!! I had them replace my EPDM roof a couple years ago. They did a great job. They called me yesterday to see if I was affected by the tornado (I was) and if I wanted them to come look things over. 2 guys showed up as soon as they were able to get past the road closures and got the damaged section temporarily sealed.

It was a stressful day and them proactively reaching out helped a lot.

Need a new roof or roofing repair? Go no farther than Andrew's Roofing here in Des Moines! These guys are great. Starting with Trevor in sales to Oscar (project manager) to Gerardo (owner, 23 years!)....they are all terrific. They come to your home with the finest shingles available (GAF) and and a crew of 10(!) and get your entire roof replaced in ONE DAY. The owner himself (Gerardo) comes out at the end of the job to inspect EVERYTHING and makes sure the roof is perfect.

Clean-up is terrific: They have a dumpster, cover all delicate areas around your home, and magnetically pick up every nail that might have fallen off the roof. Best of all, the shingles come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY! I couldn't be happier with the work they did, and I highly recommend them!

Andrews did our roof, siding and gutters on our house after the hail storm in spring 2023 in Ames, Iowa. Andrews crews did a exceptional job! The shingles and siding samples we took home assisted in helping us make our decision over few weeks. Answered any concerns or question we had during process of installing. Fixed things that were uncovered along the way that had been done incorrectly by the previous company. Came back fixed anything that needed to be made right.
We know the siding was put on very well with extra insulation. The gutters were installed well & they could be bent up when needed for mowing. Clean up was done well.

I had a lot of questions and needed a lot of clarification throughout this process, and the company took the time to thoroughly answer everything. They could have been rude and annoyed, but they were so kind. They came right out and fixed the roof so quickly and cleaned up so well. Thank you so much!

We recently needed a small repair to our roof and Andrew’s was wonderful to work with. They responded to my request very quickly for an estimate and were able to get me scheduled right away. They showed up when they said they would and completed the work quickly and did a good job. The price charged was fair and at the rate of the estimate. I would happily work with them again.

To say Andrew's Roofing does excellent work is not a strong enough recommendation for my experiences. It was another company, not in the roofing business, that actually referred me to them. The same day of my call, two of the owners did inside and on-roof inspections for potential trouble spots before positioning a tarp to divert water. At my later request for a re-roof proposal, Andrés, Co-owner and Sales Manager, went beyond other proposals when he climbed onto the roof and went into the attic to thoroughly inspect shingle condition, valleys, drip edges and flashings integrity before writing an estimate.

Before I signed the contract he wrote a detailed estimate of the anticipated out-of-pocket expenses at the same time as the cost of "shingle" replacement. If your project is for a claim, as mine was, their insurance experts talk directly with your claim adjuster. Using the same information resources as my homeowners insurance company, documentation for claim payment review and approval was sent electronically.

The Project Manager and roofing crew set up at sunrise and cleaned up after sunset, even though their only source of light was motion-activated. The roofers took pride in their work, and willingly answered my questions. The scheduler, insurance claim experts and all office staff have direct access to: their billing system; their state-of-the-art customer-profile system; and real-time camera documentation before, during, and after tear-off and re-shingle. The phone is answered and emails are opened by the coordinator who knows the right people to quickly answer your questions.

Everyone impressed me with their patience in responding to my "need-to-know the details." I have confidence in their information-collection techniques; detailed costs disclosure; the accuracy of their technology; and, in their company's collectively shared value of exceptional homeowner service. Getting a new roof is not as simple as it sounds.

My roof was 20 years old and needed to be replaced including the wood. I had a number of estimates from different companies. Andrews was the only one that listened to what I needed and didn't try to sell me something that I didn't want. The other companies were all pushy and wanted me to commit right then. When I said I would do my research one of those companies said "You can't believe what's on the internet". Andrews didn't do that. And their quality and customer service were just what I read. I would recommend them to anyone needing a roof.

I had Andres (Andrew) out to see about fixing some siding on my house. He discovered that I had hail damage and encouraged me to file an insurance claim. I did and they took it from there. Andrews Roofing was amazing. They replaced my roof and did an excellent job. They also coordinated a siding crew and house painter for me, both of which did quality work. They even arranged the new gutters on my house with Leafguard. Everyone I dealt with from Andres to Gerardo, Sergio and Oscar were friendly, helpful and informative. Andres drove the project from start to finish and I was impressed with his knowledge and personal skills. Gerardo was great in dealing with the insurance company. Thank you to the entire crew!

Very friendly and easy to work with. We have never had an insurance claim on our home and they helped so much with explaining what will happen. Made us feel like we weren’t stupid. Very knowledgeable cleaned up our area when finished and did a great job making sure there wasn’t any materials left behind using their magnets checking for nails. Would highly recommend them!!

They took care of everything. My mother is extremely happy with the outcome. The issues were resolved at no charge. I’m happy they took action. Shows this is a passionate business owner looking to make things right by going above and beyond.

Paid for a complete remodel. Took longer than anticipated. The aftermath is most upsetting. The company and employees seem to have rushed the work as one of the outer caps was put completely backwards. Now, according to the company, requires removal of siding to fix the problem. In all my years, I’ve never seen a huge “bubble” under new siding. Instead of being flat, a small area on our patio has flat siding and a huge bubble that can clearly be seen. The company must be newer. These kind of mistakes could be seen as an amateur mistake. They have yet to reach out with additional news on when they will be able to fix the issues. I wouldn’t recommend, especially if these issues aren’t fixed.

I had a great experience with this company in repairing some defects from different company's installation; Trevor was a Sales Representative to work with and Daniel was an excellent roofer who did a great job of explaining what needed to be completed. I'll use them in the future for any other roofing projects I have.

This was the second time I have used Andrews Roofing for hailstorm damage to my roof. Just as they did on the first job, they were quick, efficient, courteous and professional. Sergio, Daniel and their crew knocked out the job in one day and cleaned up very well after the install. Their Sales Rep. Greg and the proj. Mang Oscar explained the process to me very well and dispelled any worries I had before and after the job. I would highly recommend this company and crew to anyone!

UPDATE:
I am going to downgrade my review due to issues have been having of late AFTER my roof install. Trimming blew off, was replaced with different color trimming and then the OTHER side blew off a few Months after.. Loud rattling coming from my roof during even mild windy days..I did not expect these issues on my second install from this company and my rating will have to stay downgraded until these issues are fixed. Stay tuned..

UPDATE: The owner Gerardo and Greg (sales), came out and looked at my issues and complaint right away. They inspected the damage and showed me that the existing trim simply had loose nails and the cause was not really their workmanship. I had to agree based on the evidence. He offered to have a crew fix the trim anyway!. I am VERY pleased with their response to my complaint, and quite surprised and pleased with the owner's offer to fix it even though this damage may not have been their fault. This is what GREAT businesses do for customers that keep get them, and KEEP them on top of others in their field. THANKS GERARDO and company!

Very happy with the work. The level of care they put into helping me find the color is so appreciated and thankful. They are very thorough and patient with me. Communication is very important to me and they did that amazingly. I’m pretty sure my yard looks cleaner after they cleaned up their work. The new roof has given me new ideas to update my home.

I hired Andrew's to replace my roof after a hail storm and had an excellent experience from start to finish. I enjoyed working with roofing specialist Trevor who did a great job explaining things and answering my questions. They were able to schedule the job much sooner than I anticipated. The crew worked hard and was very courteous and professional. I was kept up-to-date about any issues that came up throughout the day. They finished in one day and did an excellent job cleaning up. They worked with the insurance company so I didn't have to, and the owner of the company called me after sending the final invoice just to walk me through the details. They're all just incredibly nice and professional people. It's clear that their focus is customer satisfaction and quality. After the hail storm came through our West Des Moines neighborhood in August 2022, we had significant roof damage. Two neighbors had already used Andrews Roofing for previous projects so they were asked to come inspect several roofs on our street. I was immediately impressed with Gerardo’s professionalism as he inspected our homes. From start to finish, the communication was excellent. Greg was patient and responsive with every question and concern from shingle selection to scheduling. We were impressed with the team’s technique, competence and politeness. Every part of the project was overseen for quality, and they followed up to make sure the project was done correctly. Gerardo even called to make sure we understood everything on the invoice. We scheduled an inspection with Andrew's Roofing due to the recent hail strong in mid-August. Greg was very knowledgeable and professional when he came and did the inspection. Even though he said we didn't need any repairs and the roof looked to be in good shape, we really appreciated the honesty he brought forward.

These guys installed a new roof and gutters after last year's hail storm in Iowa and did a great job. Clean, friendly crew that obviously works together a lot---not sub contractors. Estimate was mid-lower range, but the work was certainly high end.

Moved to a new home 2 years later and called them to inspect the roof after a recent hail storm. So honest. The guy said the roof was fine, was not very old, and he would not replace it since it showed no signs of hail damage. Noted that we had a few dings in a downspout from the hail but also suggested it wasn't big enough to be worth an insurance claim.

What else can you ask?? They are an honest company and I would call them for any future roof or other work on my home. A+ !

Our insurance company was reluctant to accept a claim to replace a severely damaged roof. Never fear Gerardo of Andrews Roofing was there to help! Gerardo met with our adjustor on site for a second inspection and only with his help and persistence did our insurance company pay to replace the entire roof.

Gerardo and all the workers for Andrew's Roofing were on time, professional, and made sure our roof and siding repair was soundly repaired. We were thoroughly pleased. And there were no hidden fees.

We needed them twice and was very happy with all the work on our home. I mentioned to representative that I might change/add portico in the future, and he made sure I have extra shingles before they left. I mentioned it once, and it was done!

We have a 2 story house with a flat roof. Late winter 2021, we had ice dam damage on a second story balcony sitting over our living room. When the snow started melting, we had water pouring into the living room. NO other roofing company in the area would even come give an estimate, saying they dont do flat roofs. I called Andrew's roofing, and they had someone come out the same day that I called. Trevor was very respectful and helpful. He sent a quote the next day. After seeing the quote, we decided to file a claim with insurance. However, our insurance adjuster was telling me the damage wouldn't even touch our deductible. (not true AT ALL) and was very flippant about the damage done to the living room. I called Trevor immediately and he connected with with Gerardo Jr. Gerardo dropped what he was doing and was at my house within 20 minutes. He took over from there, explaining everything to the adjuster (exactly the same as I did), but the adjuster listened to him. We ended up using Andrew's roofing to replace the roof balcony and couldn't be more pleased. Gerardo fought on our behalf to get it fixed PROPERLY, and it was done in a timely manner. The work is flawless and every employee from Andrew's roofing was a pleasure to work with. Gerardo Jr was extremely patient with my constant questions and never made me feel like a nuisance. We WILL be using them again when the need arises, without hesitation.

Andrew's Roofing originally replaced the roof for my friend who is a particular craftsman. He was impressed with the owner Gerardo's command of detail and expertise in the quotation process and the workmanship and work ethic of the crew. They have replaced my roof too and worked well with my insurer to spare me from being a mediator or liaison. I recommended them to my church with regard to emergency repair and / or replacement of three effected church building roofs. Once again they ran interference with our insurer and took the stress out of the process. I have recommended them repeatedly to my friends from work and church. They care deeply about their work.

Owner asked me to take this review down. Sorry but people need to know who they are hiring My neighbor is having their roof done. My kids and my dogs are outside playing. The workers decide they want to throw there foam, trash and old shingles at my dogs. Tried talking to the crew they acted like they didn't speak English. No journeyman on the job or licensed lead. Called the company they did nothing. The owner call the cops on us for wanting to talk to them about their crews behavior, they ended up having to clean up the mess they throw into our yard, trying to say it was the wind but not much wind and somethings were to heavy for the wind. I will not make my kids stay out of their own yard because your crew can't contain their mess or act professionally.

We used Andrews Roofing for gutter replacement 3 or 4 years ago. We were pleased and I was happy we weren't on ladders cleaning the gutters anymore. Recently our 22 year old roof needed new shingles. Andrews Roofing was one of the three estimates we received. We ultimately went with them as they matched other companies and added extra incentive to use them due to how they would handle the gutters. They knew what to do with them so they would function as designed once the roof was completed. Everything was cleaned up and looked fine when they finished. Gerardo Perez and his employee; Chris Blumhagen were very professional and cordial.

What an amazing company. They offered a good price for the work we need done. We were originally told April for the install but 2 days later they were there and had it done. Quality work. Very professional all around. Highly recommended. We will use them again if we need work done.

Andrew's replaced my roof in 2021 and did a great job.
The issue is their heavy-duty truck rolled up onto my driveway and fractured half of it.
Concrete contractor verified extreme pressure of their boom truck was the cause.
They didn't ask or offer options, and haven't had any luck with my contact there.

We contacted Andrews roofing after suffering extensive racoon damage to our roof. They were a delight to work with. They used a computer generated model of our actual house to explain each step of the planned project. Seeing the model of our house helped with understanding the project and picking out shingle colors. Gerardo was an excellent communicator and was so easy to work with and coordinated the project, even with adjustments on the fly. The crew was very polite and professional and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of every day. I gladly recommend this company to anyone without reservation.

I originally used Andrews Roofing Company in 2015 to install a new roof and gutters on my home and garage. I was very pleased with their work at that time. With the storm August 10, 2020, my roof sustained 3 holes from a large tree limb. I immediately called Andrews Roofing upon seeing the tree limb on my house, as I remembered how reliable they were and what great work they did. Not only did they remember me as a customer, but also arrived within an hour of my phone call to check damage and provide temporary fix for the holes. Gerardo was very helpful in navigating the process of the insurance claim, always kept me updated on where we were in the process and what our next step would be. The crew was hardworking, professional and very courteous. I give them my deepest thanks, my highest praise, and my highest recomendation!

Our roof was damaged by the 2020 derecho. I called Andrew's Roofing, and they were out the same day intalling tarps on the roof. They did an amazing job replacing our roof. Our roof is over 3000 SF. They removed the old roof and installed the new roof in one day. I went outside to clean up the next day and didn't find one roofing nail or any trash. Excellent job. The owners were on the roof working working just as hard as everyone else. I would highly recommend them if you want the best ..

Working with Andrew's roofing was an amazing experience. They digitally 3D modeled our house before we decided on shingles so we were able to change shingle color and type. Their customer services is second to none and they even helped us get our insurance claim approved. I had been going back and forth with my insurance company for 2 years with no success and after one phone call with Gerardo on the phone they approved my claim. This will definitely be the only roofing company I will ever use again!

The owner/president is extremely helpful through the entire process, from the initial inspection through the completion of the project. He always let me know what to expect next. The company works extremely well with the insurance company and filing all paperwork. They use a virtual 3D computer Model to let you see what different shingles will look like on your house. They know the different products and recommend what will work best for your roof. They always followed through with what they say they will do. It’s obvious that they are a family owned company with their own employees and no subcontractors.I can’t say enough good things and highly recommend them for your next roof project.

This company completed my neighbor's roof on house and garage. since we're supposed to get storms today I was wondering how they were going to work around finishing the garage. I was woke up at 4:30 am when they backed their equipment into his driveway and just when I got back to sleep at 5:30 a.m. they started roofing the garage. Maybe take into account neighbors when you do this.

We had a leaking roof that damaged our ceiling. I had Wright Roofing our twice to "fix" the problem. Both times the "fix" was temporary, and the roof started leaking again. I had another roofing company out twice to inspect the roof and asked them for a repair estimate. After about 2 months and about 4 calls to them, they finally sent me an estimate to replace the entire roof. That's when I called Gerardo at Andrew's Roofing. He came out to the house. Inspected the attic to determine exactly where the water was coming in. Then he went to the roof and identified the source of the leak. He charged me only $250 to repair the roof, and repaired it correctly. No more leaks. He also charged only $150 to extend a bathroom vent from inside the attic through the roof to cut down on moisture in the attic. Responsive, on time, competent, great work! I also got recommendations from him on someone to repair the ceiling and another person to paint the ceiling. Both recommendations were excellent. Thank you, Gerardo!

Andrews Roofing did a great job both with my house and a few of our neighbors who all experienced a hailstorm. They helped me review options, gave me a list of similar roofs to look at, kept me up-to-date on timing, assisted with quotes and helped work with my insurance company. Once they were on site, they did a great job protecting the landscaping and cleaning up after themselves, haven’t found any rogue nails on the driveway or even in the flowerbeds.

We had wind damage to our roof and Andrews roofing was quick and professional getting the repairs done. They had everything taken care of within a day of agreeing on the work and at a good value. 100% would use them again for any roofing needs.

Andrews roofing company did my roof and gutters about 2 years ago. i set a date around 6 months in advance and Gerardo started emailing me around 6 weeks from the start date and continued to email me every friday just to confirm the start date and to make sure nothing had changed. he showed up a day early at 6:00 am and he and his crew were done by 10:00 am. They did an excellent job and were on time and cleaned the whole yard around the house. Very professional company, but thats not what this review is about. A few days ago i contacted them about some issues i was having with water pooling around the base of my garage and a problem with my extensions not working properly( not his problem). He had a crew out the next day around 5:45 pm and they fixed the extension issues buy raising the elbows up about 6 inches. He also came up with a solution with the pooling by changing the downspout from running straight down the side of my house to adding some new gutter down my attached garage roof and into that gutter and then extended the drain piece past the front of my garage past the part of my yard that slopes towards my house. He had 2 crew members there for about 2-3 hours to take care of my issues. these issues were not of his doing but the result of my yard sloping toward my house. This was all done at no charge to me. i know this cost him to send 2 men out to do this. I have met Gerardo personally when my roof project first started and can say he has been the most honest and professional contractor i have worked with. I had around $30000 worth of work done to the exterior of my house the last 2 years and have met with several contractors and he was the only one i had no problems with. Sorry for the long winded review but his company deserves it especially in this day and age. If you ever need roof or gutter work done theres none better. thanks again lloyd

Andrew's Roofing just completed re-roofing and installation of gutters on our 93 year old house in Des Moines. Working with them has been one of the most positive experiences we have ever had with a contractor. Their owner and crew are professional, efficient, and very customer-oriented. Their work crew (which was large due to the steepness of our roof) worked like a well-oiled machine: cooperation, expertise, communication on display at all times. This company knows their business well. I cannot recommend them too highly.

Great communication and competitive pricing. We needed some ventilation issues resolved, they took the time to listen to my concerns. Took their time looking over everything. Gave me a comprehensive estimate with zero pressure, got us on the schedule much earlier than others. And didn't leave a mess when the job was finished. I would recommend them! July: I contacted several roofers, including Andrew's Roofing to complete minor roof repairs. Response "not available until late August."
August 21: Andrew's Roofing and I met, discussed the repair, pricing, etc. He was actually a few minutes early for the appointment, so I was pleased initially. He told me he I didn't need to be home for the repair, so I asked how I'd know the repair was done. He said they'd get me scheduled within two weeks (which would have been September 4) and would send photos of the repair.
Late August/Early September - I kept going out and checking if there was any sign of work being completed. There wasn't, and I hadn't heard from them since August 22.
September 12: I emailed and asked for an update. Response that day: "Saturday" (which would be September 14).
I checked September 15 and 16 and found no signs that the repair had been completed.
September 28: I emailed and asked for an update, mentioning that it was nearly a month later than he'd said it would be done, and since I wanted it done before winter to let me know if it wasn't going to be done so I could get someone else scheduled. Received no response.
October 2: started contacting other roofers again. Another roofer said they'd be out as soon as the rain stopped.
October 5: other roofer called, saying the rain seemed to be stopping, did I still want them to come over? I checked my email again, finding nothing from Andrew's Roofing since September 12, and said yes. They came out and fixed it right away. I then emailed Andrew's Roofing and said I'd had it taken care of, they could remove me from their schedule. Several hours later, I got an email from them (using a different email address) that "your repair was already performed two weeks ago." (Which would have been approximately September 21.) A link to photos undated photos was included, and the claim that I'd been invoiced.
I checked through my messages again, searching for keywords like "invoice" "repair" "roof" "Andrew's" as well as searching for the new email address, and found no correspondence from them at all since September 12, when they'd said they'd complete the repair September 14, but I'd back in September, I'd verified it hadn't been completed then, or the following week.
October 6: I emailed them back commenting that that's the sort of update I expected to receive when requested on September 28. I also pointed out I hadn't received an invoice.
October 8: they requested a phone conversation "this morning" but I was already at work, so I checked the schedule and booked the conference room for the only time available, emailed back with the time and my phone number. They didn't call. 10 minutes after the time, I called them. They didn't pick up. I returned to my desk. About an hour later, they emailed "just saw this, how about now?" But I was in a meeting and responded I wouldn't be free again until the afternoon. No further responses were received. (Note: they never called me at all, I did call them that morning, as the email had indicated they wanted to "talk this morning.")
November 11: I contacted them again, pointing out I'd never received an invoice.
Bottom line: they may do decent work but due to their inadequate communication, I ended up having someone else repeat the work before they notified me they had finally done it after a month delay, despite me following up with them multiple times. They claim to have completed work approximately a week after their revised projection, but did not tell me as much when I requested another update a week afterward. They did not provide an invoice at the time of Service (late September) or when I pointed out they hadn't (early October) but they got it to me quickly when I (once again taking the initiative to help them run their business, since they can't handle it) contacted them on November 11. Save yourself money and a couple months of time, and just don't bother with Andrew's Roofing.

Andrew's Roofing replaced our roof several years ago so when it was time to roof my parent's home, we hired Gerado and crew again. They outdid themselves, roofing the house and garage in less than a day. They are extremely professional, and Gerado is always right there working along side his crew. Everything was tarped and afterwards, everything was meticulously cleaned. I cannot recommend them enough!
