I have used Bakeris a couple times - once for a leak and now for a roof replacement. Both times the experience has been great and they took care of things and did a quality job. I especially want to call out Bryce as he was a pleasure to work with and I appreciated his patience and expertise when I was working with my insurance company. We live in a home that's showing its' age of 104 years old so it was past time to replace the roof. Working with Bryce Kiester made the process seamless and far less stressful than I thought it would be. He walked us through every aspect of the entire process along the way and stayed in communication with every question, text, and e-mail we had . Within 30 days of calling the project was booked and completed within one single day. The crew was also impeccable, polite, professional, timely, respectful, and top-notch skillset. The colors look beautiful and neighbors are already jealous! First, I found this company on the Altoona Rocks Facebook page as frequently recommended. Second, I called my insurance broker to ask for roofing recommendations and this was the first one he mentioned. Third, they responded within 24 hours to my online request. When I called them back after another roofer failed to come, they were here the next morning. They confirmed my roof was missing shingles and some were curling. He let me call him back so I could contact the builder first about doing repairs. I will 100% be calling them if I need a new roof in the future.

Almost a year after my new roof was installed, an anomaly with the gutters was discovered. Jordan of Bakeris came out and immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it within thirty minutes. That's what you call good service. Peace of mind is restored.

This is truly a wonderful company. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Bryce gave us a professional and thorough review of our roof, complete with lots of pictures detailing damage and weak spots. Bryce reviewed the surprising number of possible shingles and provided us with his expert opinion regarding what would look the best. He then reviewed the price and installation process. Darby at the main office called us to set a date and was very kind, professional, and courteous. If any roof could be called "beautiful", ours would be the one. The installers were fast, efficient, and left an amazingly clean work area. We could not be more pleased.

From the very beginning everything went great! From inspection to installation was smooth. Both men took their time with my grandmother and explained what was going to happen the cost and timing. The roofer cleaned up, kept things tidy and was done in good time.

Bakeris riffed our home after some storm damage. We had a home inspection prior to sale. Some issues were noted, though minor, Bakeris came out and provided repairs , under warranty. I had my roof done this summer and the Bryce was super helpful and clear in explaining what the team would do and helped explain some issues I wasn't aware of while explaining my options with it. The team was great and professional while they were putting the new roof on and very respectful of my wife's garden, which we appreciated. Bryce Keister from Bakeris Roofing was great to work with. We had our roof replaced in 2015. In May 2024 a storm took out our trees. The trees landed on the house so we called Bakeris and Bryce was out and immediately assessed the damage. Tarps were place on roof to keep rain out until the roofing crew could get to our project. The Bakeris roofing crew did a wonderful job replacing the roof, skylight, and damaged gutters. They also had to replace and rebuild the overhang and fascia. The crew was professional and cleaned the work area when finished. During the project Bryce kept us informed throughout the project. After our project was completed, part of a tree landed on the roof of my mom’ garage. Bakeris Roofing had replaced her roof around 2008. I called Bakeris and Bryce was on it again. I look forward to working with Bryce on my mom’s roof replacement project.

We had damage from the Pleasant Hill tornado and ofcourse had all types of folks stopping offending to help us with our roof. We already had a call into another local roofing company we had used before. When our regular company did not respond and Ben Bakeris stopped we were thrilled to see a local company stop and offer assistance. Ben got us tarped and offered to come back to go up with any insurance inspector that was sent. Ben really went to work for us with our insurance. His knowledge of how to work with insurance companies and the Iowa line of sight law were vital in getting insurance to pay for a full replacement.

Ben was wonderful from start to finish, explaining options, answering questions and assuring us all the nails would be picked up. Install day was so unexpected. The crew worked together quickly and effectively. Even out neighbor was impressed with how great the crew worked. Then the entire crew each grabbed a magnet to sweep for nails all around the house and landscaping. Later that afternoon another member of the Bakeris team stopped and did another magnet sweep. If that wasn't enough, Ben did a third sweep the next day as part of his final inspection.

Call Bakeris first! I made the mistake of calling a different local contractor to get my roof replaced after a hail storm last year and it was a terrible job all the way around. It made me sick to pull in my driveway everyday and see the issues.

From the first phone call to Bakeris when Shannon answered and asked “how can I make you smile today?” I knew I was on the right track. She had Bryce and Jordan at the house in a couple of days. They did a thorough inspection and we came to the conclusion it would be less work to tear the “new” roof off and start over. They put me on the schedule and had my new roof completed in short order and it looks amazing! Jose and the rest of the crew did a phenomenal job and were courteous throughout the process. Bakeris was great. Specially after a tornado in Pleasant Hill. Bryce was easy to understand their work process and his crew were polite and hard workers. Tear off of house and garage and completed new roof plus cleanup in about 9 hrs. Would highly recommend.

Bakeris roofing did our roof in 2022 after hail damage. We could not have been happier with the customer service and attention to detail! They were timely for all appointments, provided what was needed for the insurance company, had the roof done in less than half a day and cleanup was exceptional! They followed up with us to make sure things were good.
Flash forward 2 years and the April tornado. There was so much debris dropped on our roof and shingles everywhere! We called to have them come and check things out and they were able to send someone out right away for an inspection. We dealt with Ben both times and he was very professional , thorough and friendly. We would use them again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional roofing company.

Update- 3/2025. We received hail damage in July on 2024 and required replacement of our roof. There was no doubt we had this replaced by Bakeris this time also! Very polite crew and clean up was fabulous!
