I recently had a new roof installed by American Roofing Company, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, everything went smoothly. The salesman (Andrew) was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all my questions without any pressure. The installation crew (Luis and his team) was fantastic — they worked efficiently, paid great attention to detail, and clearly took pride in their work. Cleanup was extremely thorough as well; by the time they were done, you would hardly know any construction had taken place. Overall, the whole process was seamless and stress-free. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services!

I could not recommend American Roofer higher; and I worked in the purchasing field for 43 years, dealing with thousands of suppliers.
After my first experience, getting my brother's house done, I ended up hiring them again to do my parents' house, and later my own. The day before the work started, Andrew stopped by to review the process, who in the crew was in charge, and to make sure I had his card, so I could call if I had any concerns during the install.
The house is large, and the crew worked non-stop for two, 10 hour days and last day for 7 hours. Each night before leaving, the crew cleaned up all the debris, swept up every nail and piece of roofing, and put away their tools.
In this day and age where customer service seems to have gone by the wayside, American Roofing goes above and beyond to do a professional job.
I am so happy with how each of the three houses turned out, but am most pleased with my own. It looks awesome! I so appreciate Andrew and his commitment to professionalism.

I called American Roofing to replace the roof on my 100 year old house They had to remove four layers of wood shingles and asphalt shingles! American Roofing is a great company to work with. Jared Yorgason was the gentleman we worked with on the estimate and everything else we needed. We had multiple bids done for our home to replace the roof, siding, soffit and fascia and a door with casing leading onto our patio. We chose American Roofing over the other companies because they were above board with all we needed doing and their pricing was reasonable. They had a good variety of products we could chose from for the roof and siding. Also, they were very helpful in answering questions as we went along. The roof, siding, soffit and fascia, and door installation turned out great! The installers were very friendly and professional. The work was completed beautifully and in a timely manner. The workers also kept the trash cleaned up as they went along which we appreciated. I would highly recommend this company if you need your roof, siding, or soffit and fascia replaced.

Andrew was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to work with our insurance. The crew was professional and did a great job with the roof and with the cleanup afterwards as well. I would absolutely use their company again!

My roof was damaged by hail and I called American Roofing after asking my insurance agent for a recommendation. After Andrew came out and inspected the roof, I submitted a claim. Andrew worked with the insurance company and made sure that the adjustor had covered everything and explained every step in process. I always felt informed and that I could trust him. In addition, he was pleasant to work with.

I couldn't ask for a better company to help us get a new roof. Andrew helped me understand how the door to door "roofing" contractors didn't have our best interest when it came to dealing with our insurance after a hailstorm. Anitheer company had us sign a form authorizing then to get on our roof, so they said. It turned out that it was a hidden contract, and not a good one full of penalties and whatnot. Thank goodness it would hold water. Everything Andrew explained came true and saved us a possible headache. He was upfront and honest, and his crew was quick and efficient, along with clean-up! My neighbor had his roof done by a different company and there were nails left in the driveway causing flat tires. It's the little details like that, thatvshow how much they care about the client, and also their reputation as a business. I would recommend them to everyone.

They took great care of me, worked with me through the whole process. Filled my special requests and were as conservative as possible with my budget.

I am so grateful for this company. They put a new roof on our home five years ago when we had hail damage and did such a great job. They are courteous, quick to respond and do outstanding work. As you can see from the photos, our house that needed a new metal roof was definitely not an easy or trivial job. Caleb was extremely thoughtful on his recommendations and even the diagnosis of the existing situation. This was quite a contrast to many of the other roofing companies who were either intimidated by the job or couldn't be bothered. It's gone through a full winter with no issues. I appreciate the constant, thoughtful and quick communications from Caleb and team throughout the process.

Through and through, I have not had a positive experience with this company. They are inconsistent and do not communicate well. The work they performed has been consistently troublesome, I honestly wasn't impressed with the quality of the workmanship or the response to questions and in some cases complaints. I would be hesitant to trust the warranty they offer, it's unlikely they will cover any damages that are a result of a fault in their installation. It feels like they are quick to defer blame and become aggressive when questioned. I did not have a choice when selecting this contractor, but if I did I would certainly choose to work with another company. There are much better options for roofing in this market.

These guys are incredible!, affordable, timely, and competent. This is the go to roofing outfit for commercial roofs. Our tenant has rarely been happier and all the problems created by the last roofers are permanently remedied. Thank You!

On 03/15, this car had passengers who threw a bag of tools at my boyfriend’s head and hit his car purposely (hit and run). It’s been reported to the police.

Haven’t heard from the company themselves, even though I passed along my boyfriend’s information the night it happened.

Three months later since posting this review and they still haven’t reached out to my boyfriend or I. We will probably have to work with a legal team.

I have been a professional property manager for years and have high expectations for contractors. American Roofing meets and often exceeds those high standards and expectations. Four things that are very important to me are that the work is completed on time, the job site if safe and clean, fair price with quality materials, and the workers are respectful of the property and tenants. I can honestly say that American Roofing meets all of these requirements and when I needed a new roof on my home, they are exactly who I hired for the job. I highly recommend this company. Take my advise and give Andrew a call, he will take good care of you.

They replaced the TPO roof on our 21k sq ft commercial building and did a fantastic job. They were on schedule and quick. I have been so impressed with how quickly they have responded to warranty items. 100% recommend

I needed to have my roof checked because of some water build up but come to find out it was due to needing more of a slope with the gutter. There was no charge for them to come out and inspect this problem and give me their recommendation.
Caleb was the technician who did this service and was very polite and professional. I would highly recommend American Roofing who redid my roof 10 years ago but didn't hesitate to assist me.

I work for a property management company and we use American Roofing frequently. James has been absolutely amazing to work with, I honestly can't say enough good things about him! He responds quickly, provides updates, explains the process, and has great communication with the homeowner as well. On top of that, American Roofing has a great warranty and their bids come in lower than other companies. He makes my job so much easier as I know I don't have to worry about him not only getting the job done, but getting it done right the first time. UPDATE

American Roofing reached out to me to address the concerns in my review from July 31st. A team came to my home on the 31st to remove the construction debris, the office manager, Joni, called me to apologize and remedy the situation. The next day (August 1) the fascia was replaced, the roof was inspected for completeness and additional work was done to close a gap between the roof and a patio overhang.
The individuals who followed up to remedy my concerns were professional and thorough. The roof looks great and I appreciate the efforts to address my concerns so quickly!

Our salesman, Matthew Yorgason, stated our small home could be reroofed in one day.
Work began the last week of June, u July 31st, the workers have disappeared and left a lot of equipment. The work is not done. Workers would come to our house after 10pm about working the next (we think, could not understand them as they struggled with English). Left equipment in driveway blocking access to garage.
Job included replacing rain gutters, they we're replaced on the garage, which was NOT part of the work order or plan.
Removed siding from front of house with no explanation about repairing this damage.
Worst roofing company! Sales team lies and both the sales team and workers will disappear on you!

We had our roof replaced after the big wind storm in 2020. We acknowledged damage from a previous leak on our roof. Our roof was replaced and James Householder was great with our new roof but with the existing leak under our new roof James ghosted us. We called multiple times and left multiple messages with zero follow up.

Look how they park their trucks. Blocking a handicap spot. If you don’t know that extra area around handicap spots so people can get in and out of their vehicles with wheelchairs. What a horrible human. If they’re that lazy on parking, imagine how lazy they’ll be on a job where you can’t see them.

We had American Roofing install a roof with 4 sky lights and complete siding and gutters on a new detached garage and it turned out great. Excellent customer service and excellent craftsmanship. All around a great experience! Highly recommend

I’ve worked with multiple other roofing companies who were not professional, responsive, reasonably priced, and/or honest. So, after requesting estimates from 6 separate roofing companies that were recommended to me, I hired American to do my tear off and roofing job and I’m SO glad I did!! I hired American because of the superior materials they used, superior detailed & thorough workmanship offered, the competitive pricing for the value provided, and because their company has been around for a long time giving me greater confidence that their company will be around to honor their warranty if there are any future issues with my roof.

I worked with Matt Yorgason who was exceptionally helpful in providing me with information about my options and what he recommends and why. The roofing crew & finish carpenter were all professional and did very good work. Matt was very responsive to my questions and requests, ensured that all the agreed upon work was completed and that I was happy with the finished product, and was friendly and easy to work with. These people provide awesome customer service! I was contacted by James an hour after I reported a leaky roof to my HOA. He was at my home first thing the next morning and was an awesome guy to work with. I highly recommend this company. Thanks James!

I have not reviewed a business in quite some time on google, but felt as though I needed to leave one for American Roofing.

The beginning of the process started out really nice. I think our sales person was very pleasant and helped us get the best possible deal on a roof with more premium shingles. After winter, the roofers began in March.

The roofers worked very quickly and made a pretty big mess, although they did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. The shingles and flashing looked and still look awesome. This is when my experience with American Roofing turned more unpleasant...

It took nearly 3 weeks for the gutter crew the American Roofing was using to come out and install the gutters. During those weeks I began to notice the dead-spots in my backyard from where the roofing crews generators leaked gasoline and killed parts of my lawn. No big deal, I just had to dig it up and replace the sod.

When the gutters were installed, one section was installed very poorly and they forgot to install the gutter along our detached garage. During all this time I kept remembering that when I talked to our salesperson, we discussed only replacing some sections of the gutter. So why were we replacing all of them? The next MONTH was phone tag with American Roofing trying to get them back out to fix and finish the gutters on our house. It was most frustrating when our sales rep would tell us someone was coming out to finish, but they never showed up.

We left for vacation mid-May, and they had the gutters completed in our absence. I really wanted to be there to talk about what I thought needed fixing. Thankfully, everything looked fine when we came back.

I think we got a good deal; but, I don't know if I could recommend American Roofing to my friends. The shingles look good and the gutters were eventually finished, but our communication and customer service experience was overall extremely negative.

Get a bid from American Roofing, but definitely make sure you shop your other options.

We had a few bids to fix our missing shingles. One company bid us 2,400 and American roofing was 350. The other company didn’t even get on the roof to go look at the problem and American Roofing had someone come and walk all over the roof and take a look at everything. They even noticed some other spots where the shingles were coming loose. To fix everything was a fraction of the cost compared to the other company. So happy with this company and their service.

In mid-June we started working on getting us a new roof. Approval from our adjuster took a while. At first the adjuster said we only needed half of our roof replaced. ---American Roofing was right there with us convincing our adjuster that we needed a whole roof which involved several calls between them. Then once the adjuster approved the roof, we had to wait weeks for the insurance company to issue a check. It was all taking so long I was worried that American Roofing would give up on us. But they were with us every step of the way from mid-June until October when we finally had our roof. We are very happy with it and have received lots of complements.
Then a couple of weeks later, my daughter also needed a new roof. With the good experience I had had with American Roofing, she decided to go with them. Her roof was in worse shape than she thought. Since it was early fall, American Roofing went ahead and patched the roof to buy her time in the event of inclement weather to protect the exposed wood portion. We give American Roofing a A+++ rating.. We are so grateful they were the company we chose to go with.

Really glad I went with American Roofing. Robert was extremely professional and I could tell the difference with the improved attic venting and the new roof looks good, already had some high winds and no problems. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Amazing quality and work, even better customer service! Andrew at American Roofing is absolutely amazing! We had him come out and give us a bid for our roof. His attention to detail and willingness to sit down with us and go over all the details was very professional. He provided us a customized pamphlet complete with satellite photos and a detail of the work that would be provided. While most companies make you feel like you are just another number or paycheck to them, Andrew was welcoming and genuinely cared about what WE needed, not what HE wanted for us. There was no pressure whatsoever from him when he delivered us our bid.

We had scheduled the work to be done within the following month. We knew that they were busy with the recent wind storms that had come through Utah. It was a surprise to us that Andrew called a week later letting us know that one of their jobs were delayed and they had an immediate opening if we were willing. We agreed and his crew showed up exactly when promised.

Not only were they prompt, they finished the entire roofing job in two days. At the end of the first day, they thoroughly cleaned our yard and driveway to make sure there was no garbage or nails that we might run over. The second day they arrived early and stayed well into the evening after it was dark and finished all the work. Again, the outside of the house was completely clean! Less than a week later, the gutters were installed (by a different company) in less than a day.

I would absolutely recommend American Roofing and Andrew to anyone who needs their roof repaired or replaced. They provided their own dumpster, cleaned up after they left and the quality was top notch! Thank you!

American Roofing did my neighbors house a few years ago and I was impressed with the work they did. So when I was ready to have my roof done I got 3 bids, one from them and two others. One bid has high and two bids were reasonable, American was $1 more than the lowest so I went with them and could not be happier. James (Householder) sent a crew out and they worked from sunup to sundown getting it ready to shingle then spent the next day putting shingles on and finishing it off. thanks James, great job!

Great crew, hard workers for sure! Richard lined everything up and his foreman, Pablo, ran a tight ship. They began the job when they said they would and they finished on time. We have a flat ‘membrane’ roof and it’s commercial quality. My husband is a bear for the details and every day he would climb on the roof to see what had been done. If he found a small bump or lump, Pablo would ensure it was taken care of the following day. Impressive, to say the least. We are very satisfied.

This company does great work we have hired them several times around our storage unit property the very best part of the whole process was the follow up care by Dave. He made sure we were completely satisfied with the work, and clean up. He is friendly and a great representation of American Roofing.

Update:
Nate from American Roofing reached out and his team worked to make sure all my needs were taken care of. They installed a chimney cap and sealed the broken chimney grout, cleared all the ice and snow off our roof to ensure it wasn't damaged, installed more of our heat wires for optimal snow melt, and even has someone patching the drywall in our guest room. Overall, am happy with the outcome.

Would not recommend. I really held off writing this review to try to give American Roofing the benefit of the doubt and hope that things would improve.

We had American Roofing come and look at our roof Jan 14th 2019. We had a leak above our garage near our chimney. They recommended an entire re-shingle due to the condition of our shingles, similar to the other companies who quoted the repair. We signed a contract with them Jan 22nd to reshingle and replace our gutters.

They started the tear down Jan 28th. On Jan 29th we approved resheeting of the roof based on condition. We were also informed there were 4 layers of shingles on our roof, which we approved the additional cost and time for.

On Jan 20th, we discovered a stop work permit from the County on our garage. American Roofing had not filed for a permit like we had asked, and also didn't inform us about the stop work and their plan to resolve this.

During the entire process, some days the roofers would not show up. I understand there are weather limitations but I was never informed when they would be on site. This was frustrating as I had a dog who I could not let out the doggie door if I assumed the roofers would be there.

In addition to this, there was a large amount of nails and misc. garbage left in our yard that was never cleaned up. When I contacted Gavin regarding this he told me all I needed to do was reach out and ask. I shouldn't have to ask a company to come clean up their mess. The project manager should be aware of the condition of the work site and ensure it is clean upon demob.

Our gutters didn't end up being installed until April, with the gutter company initially coming with the wrong color of gutter as well. I understand we live in an area with unpredictable weather, but again there was zero communication of when the gutters would be installed. I continually had to ask when they would be arriving.

Fast forward to last fall.

Our roof is leaking into the garage, right near the chimney. The American Roofing repair technician comes out and says it is our chimney leaking and not the roof. Great we will fix it ourselves.

Fast forward to today.

Our roof is leaking over the guest room. I found this out when water was dropping on my laptop this morning. I'm sure it will somehow be our fault and American Roofing will not fix it.

Would not recommend. Terrible communication. Wish I would have paid more for a company that would take ownership of their workmanship.

We just had American Roofing replace our old worn out shingles. The process was quick and easy from the start. They were professional and efficient and provided a quality product just as they promised. I highly recommend them to anyone that has roofing needs.

James was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Offered a lot of advice as well to resolve the small issue I was having on my roof.

American Roofing did a great job replacing my membrane roof. I was coordinating several subcontractors as part of a solar panel project, and it was like herding cats at times, but the lynchpin of the entire project was getting the roof replacement done on time and Richard was so helpful throughout it all and fulfilling his promise to get it done before Christmas and working with the other subcontractors to get it done right. And I was able to get double the insulation for my flat roof than other roofers quoted at the same price.

American roofing is really on there a game. I was able to work with Gavin and The experience was great. They showed up the day they said and installed. They went up and beyond when they custom-made the drip rail For the roof. If you are looking for a quality product at the correct price With customer service that exceeds expectations. Look no further and If you have a choice. Gavin Was fantastic through the whole process.

After shopping around we found American Roofing. Gavin was great, the quote was solid, work was without issue and good quality. Clean up excellent. It is hard to find Good contractors, but American Roofing is one. All pro. I don't give may 5 star ratings.

American Roofing did a great job on my roof. After beginning my job, I encountered problems with a awning that had been attached to my roof which needed to be torn down and replaced and they worked with me in waiting until my insurance took care of the issue. I was truly impressed with how everyone I encountered on my job was more than willing to make sure that I was happy with everything and that my shingles were replaced to my satisfaction. Gavin was a pleasure to work with and I will certainly recommend him and American Roofing to my friends and family. Thank you again for a job well done!

A friend recommended we use American Roofing and I am so glad I did. We worked with Gavin to get everything organized and he did a great job. Not only was their bid far less than the others, their workmanship was top-notch and done efficiently. Everyone worked incredibly hard and left things spotless. Gavin was very helpful in helping us pick out the best roofing materials for our home. With our home we had a swamp cooler on the roof that was no longer used and they added taking it off in the quote. The person who did the work took off old shingles one day along with removing the swamp cooler it was only one person. Second day put new roof on. So one person completed everything in 2 days I was so amazed. He even cleaned up the area and rain gutters and made sure I was happy with everything before he left. Gavin was very thorough in giving us information and making sure that we understood everything and told me that if we had any other things we were not sure about we could contact him again. We are very pleased with this company and the integrity of those working there.

I would highly recommend American Roofing they did an amazing job and got it done on time with the sale of my house. I will be using them again on my new home in a few years when we redo that roof.

Fantastic roof, reasonable and fair pricing and our sales rep. Andrew Y. was exceptional to work with. This is the second house American has roofed for me and I couldn't imagine going elsewhere. Also, a shout out to their hardworking roofing crew. They did a great job and I'm very happy with my brand new roof.

I think American roofing is the best! I had a bid from another roofing company that was less than the one from American Roofing but the bid was quite sketchy on the details and I wondered about their experience. A woman showed up , spent about 10 minutes on my roof and then they emailed me a bid. I wasn't impressed so, I got a bid from American roofing. Talk about a completely different experience! Andrew's bid was detailed, precise and spelled out exactly what he proposed. Each alternative was priced out. He spent time explaining to me why I might was to use an upgraded shingle, etc. but I didn't feel any pressure to go for the more expensive product.

The workers arrived as scheduled and stayed with the project, working long days in 100 degree heat. When the job was finished they cleaned up everything, even the debris that has fallen into the garden. I think it's true that you get what you pay for. I couldn't be more pleased with their work and professionalism.

I am very pleased with my new roof! Everyone I worked with at American Roofing was professional and responsive including the poor guys doing the hard labor on the hot days. I really appreciated them being willing to work with my schedule. The mess was minimal and was cleaned up quickly.

I was very pleased when doing the final walk through that Jon offered to seal up a portion of my stucco that wasn't even part of the responsibility! American Roofing definitely believes in leaving the customer with quality product. I am confident my roof that will last for many years to come.

What made this experience best was the American Roofing representative we worked with; Mr. Gavin May. To sum it up, Gavin was easy to do business with. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and helped to get an insurance claim on my roof. He inspected my roof and gave me advice on how to proceed. He also made his time available for my claim officer and was more than willing to do what ever was needed to help him. After the job was completed, Gavin visited again just to ensure everything was 100% satisfactory. Excellent customer service by Mr. Gavin May :-).

Andrew with American Roofing was knowledgeable and friendly. He was quick to return calls and emails. He showed up when he said he would and knows roofs. We talked about all the options and techniques. I thought I wanted a certain vent system and he explained that there is a better option. They only use quality material. I also chose them because I believe they will be around well into the future, should any issues arise. The price was also very competitive. I would and have recommended them to friends and neighbors.

I hired American Roofing after experiencing some hail damage to the roof of our home. The overall process was great. American Roofing was quick at getting an estimator to give us a price, helped us navigate our home owners insurance process, and were right on time starting the project. We did run into a few bumps throughout the process and American Roofing really stepped up to make sure it was resolved timely and to our satisfaction. They answered calls on weekends and after hours and put getting these fixed at the top of their list. I have been extremely happy hiring American Roofing and would recommend them to everyone. I highly recommend Gavin May and American Roofing! After numerous quotes and scenarios on what the issue could be, Gavin was willing to meet with our insurance adjuster to look at our roof (None of the others were willing to do that) it was determined that we had serious hail damage. Gavin went over and beyond what was expected. I learned a lot about roofing from him. He is very responsive and always kept us posted on status of the project. Gavin May was professional and knowledgeable. He came to inspect our garage leak and noticed extensive hail damage from a recent storm. We ended up getting a new roof through insurance because of Gavin! Throughout the process, he explained everything thoroughly, provided regular updates, and worked to take care of us as good as possible, with quality materials and quality labor. I highly recommend Gavin May and American Roofing! Gephardt was right about these guys!!

I definitely recommend going with American Roofing. I had an unusual roof with several ridges and angles. It would be difficult for anyone but they did an awesome job and at a competitive price. The roofing material was top notch. It is worth it to get the best with reliable workmanship and all their guarantees. When you call, ask for Gavin. He was awesome and made sure everything was taken care of. Gavin is very knowledgeable and pointed out things that other companies failed to mention. 5 stars, great work!

We had a small leak in our roof when it rained with a south wind. They came out a few months ago to fix the issue. After $750 they said the problem was fixed. Yesterday we had the first storm since the repair and the leak is still there. I called them today and was told that since it isn't a new roof and has been several months they don't guarantee their work. Now I'm stuck with an expensive flashing that doesn't match my house and the same leak in my roof. I am very upset and will never use or recommend this company to anyone. A leak in a roof can be subjective as to when it actually leaks, how can you not guarantee your work?

In May 2018, Cottonwood Heights, UT experienced a rare and violent hailstorm. My roof was severely damaged. The vents were shattered, the shingles were cratered and much of the asphalt was removed down to the base layers. The storm broke and damaged the majority of our East windows, doorways, gutters and fascia.

Within 24 hours there was what can only be described as "storm chasers" canvasing the neighborhood claiming they would guaranty a full replacement and deal directly with the insurance companies. They told a compelling story that convinced many neighbors to sign an irrevocable contract, basically subrogating their rights to this company. Without even receiving any service, the residents had no way to get out of the two page contract without a severe fee.

This made no sense to me. I chose to call my insurance company directly. They immediately dispatched an seasoned adjuster and he declared the entire roof, windows, much of the gutters, and doors eligible for full replacement. What I noticed immediately is that my insurance company's estimate was higher than the "storm chasers" said it would cost. Then I asked them about their materials and realized they were planning to replace local roofs with average materials on $750,000 homes. Not acceptable.

I talked to a few people and checked Google reviews. In each case, American Roofing was recommended without reservation. Gavin May of American Roofing showed up promptly and agreed with the damage. We discussed all possible options, timelines, materials, costs and more importantly we discussed quality.

The estimate for superior quality materials and installation on what is a very difficult roof turned out to be very fair and within the insurance company's estimate. There was some back and forth between American Roofing and the insurance company and the insurance company actually raised their settlement based on a discussion with American Roofing.

We picked out the materials with the help of Gavin and the work was several weeks out. American Roofing volunteered to patch up the vents in case of rain, but I did it myself. Here's what I liked about American Roofing and their crew.

1. They used a seasoned professional team of 2-3 people for the whole project. I have seen homes where there were 10-12 people running around on roofs with material flying everywhere and roof getting completed in a day.
2. Attention to quality and cleanup. This crew was meticulous in their quality and detail and communication. I have a new driveway. They placed 3/4" plywood down before they dropped a very large container. The container didn't impede our ability to use the garage. They cleaned up every day. You couldn't tell they were there. No debris in the flowers or shrubs. They used a rolling magnet each day. They blew off any small particles.
3. They installed roof vents versus the turtle vents. The original construction was inadequate and American Roofing recommended and installed the best roof vent system.
4. We had to remove heating cables. They told me that they could do this, but suggested we don't replace them because they could be damaged and a danger. When it cam to replacing them, they assisted with this. They were also integral in assisting in getting the insurance company to replace the cables.
5. They inspected the work each day. They inspected the final project. We have ridge caps on the top and they checked these and assured us that if there is an issue, they would fix it down the road.
6. Communication is vital and a rarity. I was always informed of progress and timing.
7. Knowledgeable .Gavin May who assisted with the estimates and determined materials knows what he is talking about. He has experience on a roof. I really never had to deal with anyone else, which is nice.
8. Payments. They worked with me on the down payment and waited until the insurance company provided the final payment (over 30 days after completion). I am confident no one does this.

To conclude, if you have a question call this company and Gavin first. Or call me. You can't go wrong.

Our entire neighborhood was hit by a massive hail storm at the end of the summer and everyone needed new roofs. We had heard great things about American Roofing and decided to use them for our repairs. Andrew was great to work with and made sure that our insurance appraisal covered the cost of all of the repairs that were needed. He also checked in with us a few times when he was in the neighborhood and saw us outside and while the crew was working on our roof.

We were very happy with the work that was done and the way that our requests and preferences were accommodated. We also had our gutters replaced through American Roofing and were extremely pleased with the job that was done. They went above and beyond and were quick to come back and add something that had been overlooked the first time they were there.

We've suggested American to a lot of neighbors who were in our same situation and those neighbors have used them and loved them as well!

They started working on my roof when they said they would and finished it quickly. They were great about cleaning up the mess. I also had them install new gutters, which work and look great. I almost wish I had another roof for them towork on because they are so good to work with.

Follow up to my original review.... There are a couple of problems with the rain gutter that they installed. They came back once to complete the job, but did not fix the down spout problems, nor the minor leak. I emailed my concerns and have received no responce in over 3 weeks.

I guess I made the mistake of making a full payment before all my concerns were addressed.

Don't make my mistake of making your final payment until EVERYTHING IS FINISHED TO YOUR ABSOLUTE SATISFACTION.

I recently had my roof replaced. American roofing was very professional and I love my beautiful new roof. I felt very comfortable with them.They were very good at working around my work schedule for quotes and meetings.

Workers don’t speak English. While replacing our roof, they cut our cable line to the house. Xfinity came out two days later, fixed it, and the well trained staff CUT IT AGAIN! That says enough.

UPDATE: got a phone call from Gavin, concerned about my negative review that had been previously left. He assured me that this was a poor communication between jobsite/administration and wanted to make sure things were resolved, and that I was completely satisfied. Companies that do this are worth doing business with knowing that they are aware of your importance as a customer.

Andrew took care of everything. We love that the materials were upgraded at no extra cost. It was much better than what other roofing companies offered. Also, their warranty is longer. We feel taken care of.

The flashing that was installed was the wrong color. Andrew came and retook the sample and it was fixed right away.

American Roofing stood behind their work years after completion for me. I have never had such great attention after the sale as I received from them. I don't give recommendations, but this is the exception due to a great installation and follow up on a repair.

We are so pleased with the service we received. Once we started the process we were givend time frame of when to exptect the work to be done. They were able to complete our roof before the extimated time we were given for them to begin. Great team of professionals to work with. We would reacomend them to our family and friends.

When Gavin came to give me an estimate for roofing my home he carefully explained the details of the installation, the materials that would be used, and their purpose, allowing me to make an informed decision. The installers were polite and hardworking. I recommend American Roofing.

Gavin May was the best. He was very professional, answered all questions, he is polite, and excellent to work with. We have received many compliments on our new roof from friends, family and neighbors. They asked who did the roof because of the quality of the work, and how excellent the crew was that completed the work. The workers who did the soffit and fascia and rain gutters were amazing, along with the roofing crew. They were all professional and very helpful, and answered all questions. Our salesman and American Roofing both received 5 star rating from us. We would recommend to everyone to use this company and salesman for their roofing project.

We wanted to thank Gavin, David and crew for insuring we got the best installation possible. The crew was very professional and hard working. I particularly appreciated the effort to quickly strip and the long hours of installing the new shingles. They were very diligent in cleaning up after each day, too. We would gladly recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

American Roofing recently replaced our roof and did a great job! Their workers cleaned up after themselves and left the yard likely cleaner than when they began! They offered different shingle options to meet our budget and wishes. We couldn’t be happier with our new roof.

American Roofing was great to work with. It started with Gavin coming over for an estimate and to review the work needed. He answered my questions and helped point out a few things I had not considered. As a home owner I feel it's important to educate yourself as much as possible on the project you are intended to hire out for. It allows you to ask the right questions and understand how the process will go. Gavin, Brandon, Paco and the crew were great when it came time to tackle the job. There were a few bumps along the way but everyone was on top of it immediately and ensured a high quality product when the job was complete.

We had American Roofing come and work on our new home. Their crew was great but the recommendation of Mark Barlow was terrible. Since I cannot find his business "South Valley Electrical" and he showed up in American Roofing clothing "hat & shirt", I will leave the review here.

His price doubled from his initial quote at time of payment. He couldn't remember the placement of the heating element, so I needed to draw a diagram. He never scheduled a time and just showed up one Saturday to install. He asked me to help him pull the lines through the gutter. He didn't bring enough heating element and just shrugged his shoulders. Now I have a massive Ice sheet hanging off my north roof edge. I will be seeking another heating element company in the spring to finish the job. !!!Avoid Mark Barlow at all cost!!!
