I have a large roof - 4100 square feet, and this was an amazingly easy process. The good and bad of all projects come down to the people you are working with. This was the largest I have had done, and it went far better than most smaller projects.
Jason and Kim were great to work with. Jason brought his samples, went over the products and installation procedures, discussed issues that may arise in installation, and was very responsive to questions while I was deciding on a contractor, and scheduling once the contract was signed. He also came out for a pre-construction inspection and assured I knew what I needed had ready for work to start. Kim handled the scheduling logistics and was on top of notifications, adjustments and any inquiries and issues that came up. We had guests coming the weekend after installation and she assured the dumpster and porta-john were removed promptly. I also have two solar hot water panels on the roof and they coordinated with the plumbing contractor for scheduling removal, inspection, and reinstallation.
As for the installation, Camilo and his team were excellent, and Camilo was easy to talk to and happy to answer any questions. Even the materials suppliers were great to deal with. Everyone was no-fuss and went about their business - and without a lot of loud music. They cleaned up along way - and the dumpster driver swept under it as he was removing it. I have plenty of spots around my house to catch debris, but I've found very, very little left behind.
Jason came out for a final inspection and we walked around the roof. The installation was excellent - the lines are straight and clean and everything was down tight. He talked about warranty and service, and took final payment. I've had plenty of stress over this for the last 6-8 years as my roof has deteriorated, and ShinglePro made it easy and seamless.

Kim was amazing with communication throughout scheduling. But the best part of all was the field crew! They showed up on time and immediately began a well organized and coordinated effort. Everything that the owner, Jason, promised was delivered. Everyone showed up when they said they would. The dumpster and porta potty showed up minutes later. The workers were all kind and respectful and the site was cleaned up each evening. It was finished in the promised time frame and while they were cleaning up on the final day, the dumpster and porta potty disappeared. Our home and yard were left in perfect condition and the roof looks amazing! We are very impressed with the quality of the materials and installation and with the 50 year warranty on the roof.

I came to know about Shingle Pro Roofing from a solar company in Salt Lake Valley who does premium solar system installations. After getting various bids I ended up going with Shingle Pro Roofing and am very happy I did. Single Pro wasn't the low bid, but I do believe they offered substantial value for the amount I paid over other bids: Jason at Shingle Pro is very knowledgeable about roofing systems and took the time to answer my questions and address issues peculiar to my roof. He gave me a printed bid and several references/locations where he had completed roof installations on his very first visit. The 50 year "materials and labor" warranty backed by the shingle manufacturer was appealing to me, as well as the "above standard" custom made drip edge they use and the fact that Jason pays his crew hourly rather than based on a piece rate like most other roofers. It was evident through the process that everyone involved takes take pride in their work! Jason designated a project manager I could turn to for any issues that arose during the installation time frame but he also made himself available from start to finish. Kim at the office facilitates scheduling and communications and it was helpful to have her as a resource as well. If you want the best roof, warranty, and crew at price that's still competitive, I don't think you'll find a better option than Single Pro Roofing.

Jason was super easy to work with. I gathered several bids for my project and I chose Shingle Pro because they are BBB accredited, could meet my timeline and budget and were upfront on additional costs that may come up. Even with weather delays, they got the project done on time. The crew did a great job cleaning up each day and after the project finished. This was important to me since I have dogs and didn't want them stepping on rusty old nails.

Phenomenal from the initial quote until the dumpster rolled out of the driveway(sweeping up the final mess before leaving)!! Felt like it was an easy choice after receiving several bids. Very competitive pricing, plus the sheer fact that Jason hands you a monster list of previous jobs they have completed means they are proud of the work they do and are hiding from nothing. Jason and Kim are incredible communicators!! Zero surprises throughout the process. Tremendous amount of written and verbal information. I had plenty of stupid questions, but they answered them all. The crew was a great group of hard working gentlemen that took care of our home while they were on site as if it was their own. It was obvious that diligent, daily cleanups were important to them. ShinglePro tore off 3 layers of old roof and put on new asphalt shingles. They even did a little bit of framing so that our roof no longer slopes down into the chimney. Everything was done carefully, and there was no damage to the shrubbery around the house. The roof is perfect, and I have no complaints.

Shingle Pro provides a lot of written information about the product, contract, city inspection and long-term warranty that I can refer back to if needed. I feel confident in the quality of the product and the upgrades to the roof system, like removing old solar attic fans and installing ridge vents on both the house and garage. The installation crew was wonderful. With an early March installation, they worked in sunshine, rain and snow and never missed a day. The cleanup was flawless. Highly recommend!

Jason(owner) and his foreman Jorge did a great job on our new roof. They coordinated to make removal and reinstall of our solar panels easy. Once they started tearing off the old roof and finding the horrors underneath they were very communicative about what needed to be done. The roof looks great and we’re confident it will not give us any problems. They also did our gutters and so far so good.

Can I give more stars? Excellent and professional company to deal with! Jason took time to explain how he does roofs and showed me samples of the materials he uses that are thicker and better made than the usual materials many roofers use. He had a printed quote for us the same day he came to measure the roof.

He obtains a roofing permit from the city and this includes an inspection and sign-off from the municipal roofing inspector.

Superior weekly communication as we approached the date of the roof replacement. When the day arrived, Jason arranged for a Honey Bucket for the crew's bathroom needs and a dumpster for the old roofing materials.

They removed the old materials in a few hours and had the roof dried in by the end of the day. They put six feet of ice and water shield on the eves, then drip edge, and another 12 inch layer of ice and water shield sandwiches the drip edge between the shield layers. All the vent pipes get a bead of sealant between them and the ice and water shield before shingles go on. All exactly the way he said it would be.

They use galvanized roof jacks. These get sanded so paint adheres better, and painted with two coats of primer and a final coat of colored paint that matches the shingles. Looks fantastic! And also a bead of sealant around where the pipe protrudes through the roof jack, so that's two beads of sealant for each roof penetration.

At the end of the day, they clean up the job site and all the scrap materials and packaging are discarded. It always looks nice when they're done. At the end of the job, they comb through the property for small debris and leave the site in excellent condition.
