Omar came out at the agreed to time. He inspected my roof and identified three areas where there may leaks into my attic and one for my garage. He also reattached a 5-shingle tab on my mansard roof and one or two tabs on my garage. This was part of American's roof repair + tuneup promotion.

Marcus was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The work was done quickly and he explained all his findings clearly. Definitely a great experience and would highly recommend him.

The technicians Hugo and Miguel were very professional, patiently answered all my questions and did a great job cleaning the gutters. They also shared before and after pictures of the gutters. They also give a 90 day warranty.

Mike and Marcus were extremely professional and thorough with their assessment. They did a great job with the gutter tune up for our home. Highly recommend their services.

I am very disappointed with my experience with AHC. They did not honor a valid coupon I presented, which felt misleading and unfair. Additionally, the estimate they initially gave me for a new roof was later changed before the project even started. They claimed it was due to a “calculation error” in measuring the space. This kind of mistake should not happen in a professional setting. Changing the price after the fact and failing to stand by their promotions shows a lack of transparency and professionalism. Due to these issues, I ended up not moving forward with the project. A frustrating and disappointing experience overall.

I’m very pleased with the job American Home Contractors did in removing my damaged leaf guard gutter system and cleaning out a considerable amount of debris that had accumulated. AHC rep Mike Giordano arrived when promised, did a very professional job, and provided a very thorough photographic record of the condition of my gutters before and after the work. Best of all, the price was extremely competitive.

Mike Giordano phoned to alert us he was on his way to our appointment. He was professional, courteous and expeditiously inspected and repaired our roof. His assessment was spot on with the other inspections we had from our insurance claims adjuster and two roofing companies. He furnished numerous pictures of before and after the repairs. We will use AHC Roofing Company again in the future.

The company is serious and keeps their scheduled work. I used their tune-up offers three times and I'm happy with the work they did. Mike did a roof tune-up twice and once gutters tune up. He is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and very good at what he does.

Terrible company, terrible customer service terrible job. I chose this company because they appeared to be the most reputable most experienced and established, even though they were by far the most expensive. There is very little transparency in their estimates and even less accuracy. This is not a trustworthy company at all! During my ordeal they were caught lying several times. And we as customers are supposed to rely upon their word when it comes to how much subsurface material “needs” to be replaced and at an extremely marked up price. There was absolutely zero accountability when it was discovered that my new roof they had just installed needed to be completely replaced. Instead, just finger pointing and excuses. They lied to my neighbor and said that I gave them permission to use her roof for access which was totally not true. When they were done the first time they left my yard and both my neighbors yards along with the alley a total mess. When it was time to schedule the second attempt at the install they kept delaying due to “rain” and each time they’re was no rain. When they finally came out to try again, after they were done my entire house smelled so strongly of chemicals from the product they used we had to find a place to stay for the night. When I brought this to their attention they didn’t respond at all, no apology, no explanation, just crickets. In summary, whoever is responsible enough to take their time and do their due diligence and read these reviews, I strongly recommend finding another company for any of your home improvement needs

Omar did a tune-up on my roof and gutters today. He did a thorough job and cleaned up everything he blew off my roof and gutters. In addition to minor repairs and recommendations, he alerted me to little things he noticed around the house for me to keep my eye on. I was very grateful!

Mike Giordano was courteous and professional, arriving on time as scheduled. With a friendly demeanor, he performed a roof tune-up, thoroughly explaining the roof's condition and the services provided. He identified ventilation issues and scheduled a follow-up inspection for additional work on the soffits. The pricing and details were justified, especially since another company wouldn't perform any work below the $1500 minimum.
His vehicle served as excellent advertising, and I recently spotted a similar one in the neighborhood, which led me to research and request a roof tune-up. To my surprise, it was the same company vehicle with Mike inside. The inspection was comprehensive, supported by pictures of the completed work, showing his meticulous approach to the roof tune-up. It was a pleasure to have Mike handle the work, and I look forward to a long-lasting service relationship.

We had a rough start with American contractors as my wife had waited a long time to get our project scheduled. I have to say we were not going to use them again but Isaiah their contractor not only helped us with precision and speed but also showed us where our builder went wrong in connecting our shudders.

AHC rep Omar arrived on time and ready to go. He did a great job of securing parts of my third story roof and cleaning out the gutters.

I had American Home Contractors come out for a roof renewal. They came promptly, did a thorough assessment of my roof, and repaired a few issues they found. It was very easy and well done.

Omar was very honest about the prevailing weather conditions possibly compromising the gutter seal process. He rescheduled the appointment. We were told that we would be alerted if there was a cancellation and our work could be accelerated. True to their word, we were told of a cancellation and our appointment was moved up. Mike contacted us with an arrival time, was very polite and personable and provided pictures of his work. He even delayed leaving our driveway to clean off the debris hidden by his truck. Great service.

American Home Contractors just replaced the gutters on my Dover, Delaware house. This is the second time I’ve had them work on a house, and like before, they showed up early in the morning, and after reviewing the work with me, got right down to business. The crew worked quickly & efficiently, got the old gutters off, got the new ones up, made the changes we discussed. They cleaned up after the work was done, and it was all complete well before lunch time. Impressively, they even made sure the fence gates were properly latched, to keep my dog safe!

The work was well done, and Mother Nature tested them the next day with a few heavy storms-they worked great! Thanks, guys!

I had two premium roof tube-ups performed on two rental houses in Montgomery Village, MD. The Groupon deal was too good to pass up. :) My tech, Omar Rivera, was wonderful to work with. He arrived exactly on time at noon, went on to first inspect the attic, then moved onto the roof. I was impressed he had all the safety ropes and gear - something another company’s tech didn’t have. Omar was very knowledgeable and pointed out numerous areas needing attention and which ones he fixed. He sent a photo summary of pre and post work. Omar went above and beyond my expectations so I highly recommend him and the company!

Marcus, our technician, was very professional and knowledgeable. He identified the possible causes of our concerns, did what he could do on the spot, and recommended what else could be done in the future. Very friendly guy, would recommend him to anyone for gutter inspections.

Couldn't be happier with the service I received from American Home Contractors today. The technician, Mike, arrived on time and completed the work promptly. The initial gutter tune-up was all I was expecting, however Mike pointed out some missing shingles. The roof tune-up service was more than reasonably priced, so I had him take care of that as well. Very happy with the services provided today, and will absolutely be using AHC for all my future roofing and gutter needs!

Mr. Rivera – did a really excellent job on my roof tune up – repaired multiple areas where the shingles were popping up. Looked good as new and probably saving me larger future costs on more significant roof repairs if those shingles blew off. I think I will do a roof tune up every 5 years.

Our technician, Mike Giordano, did a great job cleaning the gutters. I wanted to wait until after a storm to leave a review because now that it has rained, I can see that the water is flowing through the downspouts and not over the top of the gutters. Giordano sent lots of pictures of his work. He arrived on time and was courteous. I would definitely contact him for any house needs in the future.

Initial consultation was good with Shaun, he went over all the aspects of the gutter replacement. It was down hill after that. After paying initial deposit of $100 they completely ghosted me for 2 months.
Update**
Later after messaging Shawn, he was nice enough to start the project immediately and completed on time. The crew were done in an hour installing new gutters with gutter guards. No other contractors I got estimates from matched AHC. Will see how these new gutters hold up when it rains, pine needles /leaves in fall and the support service and warranty in future

Great job. I love their gutter tune ups and roof tune ups. They get up there and take pictures of everything and it's very reasonably priced.

Update: Omar returned today for a roof tune-up because of problems found during gutter clean. It took 3 reschedules because of rain, but Omar showed every time to personally tell me the job couldn’t be completed because of weather. He and Daniel expertly fixed an issue with shingles that was causing a leak in attic. I highly recommend AHC and Omar for their great customer service.

In the Fall of 2024, we selected AHC to make major electrical systems changes, roof & gutter repairs, and associated improvements to our Vienna VA home. At every step of the process, AHC well-described and explained the options which enabled us to make fully informed choices for our home. HT Elston served as Sales Lead to fully integrate our AHC experience from start to finish. The AHC Team applied the utmost professionalism and communication throughout the process. When roof work exposed latent & even encountered new work-related damage under our roof affecting the internal ceilings, the AHC team remediated all repairs to a condition better than new. "WOW" is the only word to use on this level of commitment to excellence and customer-first values. The team included Miguel as Production Manager, Katherine as Production Coordinator, both of whom kept us informed and on schedule. Joe and Tim installed our new "Span" home electrical service panel selected to integrate seamlessly alongside the installed Tesla Power Wall 3 battery for grid-outages lasting 6-10 hours. The PW3 + Span became a foundation upon which we subsequently can upgrade this initial backup power capability with added electrical capacity optimized with a solar panel roof system. The "standing seam" metal roof AHC installed is beautiful and actually eases a future addition of solar panels by avoiding the frame mounting penetrations of the roof. You will be glad you chose AHC for your home needs, repairs, or improvements. -- In May of 2025 we continued needed improvements using AHC (and their partner sub-contractor) for an excellent complete renewal of our 45-year-old attic insulation. The team was punctual & very professional. The old attic insulation was vacuumed out, the attic floor gaps causing air leaks were all fully sealed, and the new R-49 of Fiberglass insulation was blown into the two-attic spaces of our split-level home. The improved control of interior temperature was immediately noteworthy. We look forward to increased savings in the cooling and heating of our home all year long.
FINAL PHASE GOING SOLAR ... In June, upon Utility approval to install, AHC installed our 28 solar panels (highly recommend using REC's Alpha Pure RX - 460 panels). The process was straightforward and the work was completed in mid-June 2025. Final electrical connection to the grid was obtained promptly and PTO commissioning put our home into the solar age with a goal of back up power toward grid independence. Note: As Electric rates increase we achieve a real measure of isolation from that effect and the ROI payback on system cost moves earlier. AHC's Master Electrician Evan McFadden gave me a solid understanding of the ability use our solar system and battery backup in combination with the Tesla Power Wall 3 app and the Span electrical panel monitoring stats to achieve optimum performance. Delighted with the success of our project and look forward to saving significantly on our utility bills. At each phase of our 10-month process, AHC Project Manager HT Elston competently orchestrated each part. Without any reservation, I highly recommend AHC for all of your roofing, energy conservation, and solar power needs.
