Hugo did an excellent job with my gutter tuneup. He thoroughly cleaned all of my gutters and tightened a gutter over my garage. He cleaned up after all work was complete and provided requested estimates for future work. I highly recommend American Home Contractors and will use Hugo for my future projects.

This has been the fourth year that I have gotten the gutter cleaning/roof tune-up from American Home Contractors. Elgin was thorough. He also explained the work done and emailed me photos of problem areas. Once again , I have been pleased with AHC.

We hired the contractor to clean the gutters. He did a thorough job and pointed out several issues with our roof and vent. The issues with the vent were corrected immediately and free of charge and recommendations for the roof were made. I would definitely use them again.

Chuck, American Home Contractor Inspector, arrived on time and conducted my roof inspection thoroughly and professionally. I was able to learn and understood areas of my roof that needed attention. I had a great experience working with Hugo and American Home Contractors. The communication, from scheduling to the crew coming out for the repairs, was top-notch, and everyone I interacted with was professional and respectful. Hugo fixed a sagging soffit, replaced the capping, replaced gutters that were too short on both sides of my house, and installed a downspout. All of the work was high-quality.

I had a clog in the gutters towards the front of my house which was resulting in water pouring over the siding. Eglin came out and was 1) thorough in his inspection of the roof and gutter system and 2) provided his recommendations and pictures to back them up and 3) unclogged the gutters.

During the following rain storm I noticed another issue with the gutters for which he came out and addressed promptly. Would definitely recommend this company, in particular Eglin for his professionalism and quality work.

We requested service for gutter tune-up and are really happy with the service. Hugo went above and beyond to check everything and give us a detailed report of all the issues that need to be addressed. He even set up a follow up visit to give us a free estimate of the suggested repairs/replacements. Would highly recommend their service.

Do not believe everything you read. They will not do the job if it requires too much effort (I had existing gutter guards). Then the technician offered to perform an evaluation for $100 but followed by saying "but if you want to have the work done per my evaluation, we wouldn't be able to do it". Wasted my time!

Clearly, America Home Contractors is one of the most effective companies, as its team reflects a magnificent expression of design, detail, and, above all, professionalism in each of its finishes.Trustworthy, reliable, and great at what they do. Will hire again if I ever need more work done.

Had few other contractors come in, however Omar from American Home Contractors spotted the issue directly and done a great job in fixing it along with a complete and thorough tune up, paying attention to each and every detail, explaining findings in a straight forward way, and documenting everything through shared pictures and a comprehensive report.
In sum, my impression in two words= quality+value.

We were pleased with Hugo from American Home Contractors. We also liked the fact that our issue was well explained! We will definitely used their service again.

It did not clean the gutters on the higher roof properly even though 2nd correction was made. Today I can see all water overflowed from the higher roof gutters. Very upset for the work done and not recommended. Also it is bad always try to upsell new installations or ask for reviews.

Marcus Newby was incredibly helpful and explained everything I needed to do to improve my gutter system. Friendly and thorough, I cannot recommend him and AHC enough!

Hugo Calderon with American Home Contractors did a roof tuneup. I am satisfied with the service as Hugo explained what he saw on the roof and how he plans to mitigate those issues. At the end of the visit he showed me pictures of fixed items. He also made recommendations for what to look out for in future.

Booked an appointment with American Home Contractors for a gutter tune up. Marcus N. was a consummate professional and confirmed that going with American Home Contractors to fix our gutters was the right decision. He showed up on time and displayed great customer service. He performed a quick check of what needed to be done, showed photos and provided explanations before moving forward with any work, and once I approved he was all done in an hour. I highly recommend American Home Contractors if you’re in the DMV and need any gutter work.

The two mechanics from AHC, Hugo and Elgin, did an excellent job cleaning, inspecting and resealing the gutters. No pushy reviews on what should be done to roof and gutters; but, instead a comprehensive report was prepared indicating defects and what could be a problem in the future. Simply a pleasure to deal with AHC.

Hugo called to give a heads up when he would be here and arrived promptly at that time. He did a great job and was very thorough. He answered all questions, shared great insight into various aspects of our particular roof/gutters. Wasn’t pushy but provided solid recommendations. The company has been great to deal with on the phone but Hugo really sealed it with fantastic customer service and attentiveness.

Omar and Hugo are true professionals. I have had Omar visit twice now. He and Hugo are very polite, do great work and share honest opinions on other items that they have inspected. I will certainly continue using American Home Contractors for gutter and roofing maintenance and issues.

2025 - Awaiting an estimate for a possible roof replacement. Omar did an awesome job and gave me as many details as he could before offering the estimate. Melvin performed the repairs and cleaned the gutters efficiently and thoroughly (plenty of pictures were taken as both proof and documentation for the future). I had noticed missing shingles after a particularly windy period along with typical pine straw build-up. He was efficient and accommodating to the questions I had. Appreciate the hard work!

Scheduling was easy and quick. The technician Hugo arrived on time. He did inspect the attic thoroughly and identify the problem. He checked the roof and fixed the problem as well too. Also checked for any other roofing issues. I have 3 levels town house. He had no issues to get to the roof he had the right hight ladder. He was polite and respectful .
He gave us his recommendation for future maintenance for the roof.
