We are repeat customers of Red Carpet Remodeling. They first replaced our roof and sliding doors. Recently they replaced our windows, shutters, front door, and capped some trim that was damaged on our house. This is a GREAT company who does FANTASTIC work! They are a small, family run business who focuses on customer relationships. They do not use subcontractors and their team is professional, polite, and meticulous. Ken (owner) never pressures you into a sale. He listens to your needs, your budget, and gives his honest opinion of what is needed to maintain the safety and value of your home. He will work with you and his prices are always competitive. They use the same products as the other large companies, at better prices, while treating you like family. We’ve trusted them for years with our remodel needs and have been thrilled with the results!!

We recently had our roof replaced by Red Carpet Remodeling. We met members of the team a home show and accepted an offer of a free estimate. Unlike other estimates we dealt with, Ken was straight to the point on explaining the process, addressing questions, and allowing us our own time to make a final decision. No frills, no us vs. them putting down of other companies, no "you need a new roof yesterday and we need your decision before walking out of here" tactics, and no invasive/pushy financing option tactics. Refreshing.

After making our decision communication was easy and we were able to update our proposal based on HOA feedback. A date was selected, the crew showed up on time for the 2-day install and cleaned up perfectly. We didn't note and haven't since noted any defects and a neighbor commented that it looks "beautiful" as well.

Red Carpet Remodel was very easy to work with. For starters, their quote for the work we wanted done was a good bit less than 2 other options we had initially considered. Furthermore, we then had to scale back what we wanted done in total simply due to our own budgeting, but they were easy going about it all and didn't add any pressure to make us get more than we needed at the moment. That being said, because they were so nice and all professional to a T, we will definitely be going back to them when we would like some more work done on our home.

I am so glad I found this company! It's so bizarre how many companies just flake out on you. We had TWO different contractors come out to price a new front door; both ghosted us after weeks of waiting. It's like the job was too small potatoes for them. I found Red Carpet Remodeling when I was walking around at the Olney Farmer's Market. I expected to be ghosted again, but no! Ken came by the house and helped us select what we wanted (I already knew, having been through the initial phases twice before LOL). And then HE FOLLOWED THROUGH. Once the door came in, the installation department was great and got us in the next week! The crew was prompt, professional, and had the whole thing done in a matter of hours. First off, Sherri Groove was awesome to work with. I had my roof replaced by red carpet some years ago and would get occasionally calls from time to time from the company. Normally I'm OK, but this time I had a small project that needed to be addressed. Sherri called me and made it happen for me. I can't praise her enough, but I know when I need another project taken care of I have her personal work number programmed in my cell. They came out and helped us find a door that suited our house's style, within our budget. They were very communicative about the status of our custom-door order. I never had to call for an update. Red carpet remodeling had installed Vista windows in our home in 2013. We had excellent customer service by all involved from beginning to end of the installation process. Recently we had a concern that the seal was broken in our family room windows. After some time we were able to connect with Jack who called us directly to set up a day for him to come by and check our windows. We had a lifetime warranty on windows and learned Vista windows was no longer in business but Jack was respectable and honest and said he would continue to honor that lifetime warranty we had on our windows. He helped us identify the problem with the windows and checked others throughout our home to make sure all were still in great condition.

We have always been hesitant to getting work done on the home because it is always worrisome bringing a contractor in, in short, will they care, or just quickly get the work done and move on. We first became aware of RCR at a local farmers market, and then realized our neighbor had also utilized their services for replacement windows. Hesitantly, we asked them to come in to discuss our project. Immediately this experience started different than with other contractors. There was knowledge and suggestions without feeling pressured. We expanded the scope of our project based on our comfort. Installation day arrived and it couldn’t have gone better. Very tidy, drop cloths everywhere, pleasant and the final result is our windows look amazing. We never thought we would be so excited & pleased about the outcome of a replacement window project.

I had a very interesting experience during my consultation with the owner Ken on June 22nd that turned me off to Red Carpet Remodeling. Based on numerous five star google reviews and after meeting with one of their reps at the College Park Farmers Market, I was open to getting quotes on replacing several doors in my home. One of the attractive parts of their pitch was that the quote would be honored for up to one year from the date of the consultation. I was very up front with both the onsite rep as well with sales manager that i texted back and forth i was getting quotes and not looking to make an immediate decision. Well... that's not what the owner had in mind. Unfortunately, the one year quote is not true. In my situation, the quote is only good until the end of the month (eight days). In fact, as of writing this review, I have not received anything in writing based on the verbal quote despite being promised an follow up email. It is obvious that based on the body language leaving my house, the owner was offended and probably felt that i wasted his time. While I can not attest to the quality of the product, I will recommend that if you are interested in a consultation with their company, only do so if you are prepared to make a decision that day. I hope you have a better experience than I did.

Ken and his team were great to work with. I got a full gutter replacement and was glad that I did. It took Ken's team about 2 hours to replace 165 linear feet of gutters, downspouts, and install the mesh covering to keep debris out. The price was very fair and I feel like I got a great deal and still enabled him to make money and pay his team what they well earned. I definitely would recommend RCR and plan on using them again once I save up enough money for siding replacement.

I had windows installed by this company about 8 or 9 years ago. One of them recently started leaking. I had contacted the company 3 times with no return call. The phone goes to an answering service so the only option is for a manager to call back. It has been over a week now since I started calling with no reply. Serious lack of customer service.

They were prompt when they came for an estimate and let me know all the costs and details up front. R.C. was flexible with the install date as I had to change three times. The installers were tidy and did a good job installing as the door & windows are air tight and look great. Since I needed to match my HOA paint color I ordered the door/windows primed only. I plan to paint myself and is on my To-Do List!

I met Ken in the Fall of 2017 at my sons lacrosse tournament. I wasn't in the market at that time to replace my windows but knew it was going to an upcoming project within the next couple of years. After having good talks with Ken, he stopped by the house a few weeks later to provide an estimate to replace the windows. We received a quote for 14 and before you knew it, I was having the windows installed Feb 2018!

Ken is definitely good people, and his team is top notch! I was very impressed from start to finish. After installation we did identify minor issues which were addressed in a timely manner. All around excellent customer service! Ken continues to follow-up after the job completion to make sure we're satisfied and that there are no additional issues with the windows. Usually after you cut the check, that's the end of the relationship, however, not with Ken.

When the time is right, we'll be back to finish what we started as we have more windows to replace.

Red Carpet Remodeling put a new front door on my house when I bought it 9 years ago. Since then, the frame settled and the screen door would not shut so someone camework.to fix it at 7am so I wasn't even late for work. There was a recall on my deadbolt and the tumbler broke, they ordered new parts and fixed it asap. All quickly, with fast response and free of charge as part of their lifetime guarantee on my purchase. I will definitely use them in the future when I am ready for more home upgrades.

RC did a great job of making window replacement pain-free. We were able to easily match non-standard size and colors to replace water damaged windows in 20 year home. I recommend.

Red Carpet modeling was great. Ken, the owner came to our house and discussed the plan of wrapping all of the wood trim, which was a lot of trim. He made suggestions and discussed the job in detail. The price was on the high side but the saying you get what you pay for is very much true in this case. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations, which were high and we had extra things done after we saw the quality. The men who did the work were craftsmen not laborers and had high standards of quality. We will use Red Carpet again for our next project, that is the best review I can give.

Ken did a great job of keeping in touch before, during and after the window installation. There were no major glitches during the installation. I am very happy with the 30 newly installed windows. They are beautiful and are keeping the house warmer during this cold winter.

Our roof was ~16 years old and some of our shingles were starting to curl up at the corners, which had us worried about eventual water seepage, mold, or other types of damage. We started looking at roofing contractors and prices and talking to companies to see about how much it would cost to get our roof done. We went to the Herndon fall festival a few months ago and we met RCR as well as a few other companies. After meeting with and getting quotes from RCR and three other companies, and a surprisingly large difference in quotes, we hired RCR to have our roof redone. Travis came to our house and he was well-prepared, professional, no-BS, and answered all our questions. He was the only one of the four people who actually went into our attic to look at our roof decking from the underside. RCR's estimate as to the square footage of our roof was the lowest (which reduces cost) and most accurate. Other companies quoted us up to 9 squares more than what RCR did - that's 900 square feet! Most importantly of all, our new roof looks great and we are confident it will last as long as we are in this house. Thank you Travis, Ken, Leo, and everyone at RCR.

I was introduced to RCR at the Fairfax Fair. I am always on guard while speaking with folks at these events. However, there was zero pressure for a free quote for siding, shutters, gutters and a new garage door; all in need for our 1969 colonial.

Ken, the owner, came to our house and was very diligent in his knowledge about products and competition. Again, zero pressure. He was very friendly and knew his business market very well. After several other interviews my family choose RCR because of their neighborhood impact, highly acclaimed reviews and price. RCR offered top-of-line siding and other products far below their competition's price point. On the magnitude of 10k. Before we signed the deal we met to go over terms and find a price point that would work with our budget. Outstanding!

The installation, led by Steve, was flawless. The job site was always cleaned every day and the work was top-notch. No corners cut. Our house looks brand new now! Ken remained in the background and kept tabs on the project progression over several days. Again, outstanding job!

I have dealt with numerous contractors etc and Ken and his crew take first place in customer service, product quality and installation timeline. We undoubtly recommend Ken's RCR for your home needs. Red Carpet Remodeling replaced the windows on our home in 2015. The owner, Kenneth Lindner, did a good job explaining the features of the windows and gave us what seemed to be a good price. However, after five-and-a-half years, we have realized that we were sold a shoddy product. We had six sashes replaced within two years because of gas leaks from between the panes. The windows, fortunately, were under warranty. After five years, we have six more sashes that need replacing for the same reason as the others. The window panes are spotting. After a little research, we discovered that the company that manufactured the windows -- Vista Window Co. -- apparently went bankrupt in 2019. However, Red Carpet Remodeling still shows Vista windows as a product and lists itself as a "Proud Partner of Vista" on its website. Apparently, Red Carpet does not know its products, does not pay attention to the market place, and/or does not care that it advertises for a company that no longer exists. We tried reaching out to Red Carpet to see what, if anything, could be done. We tried via telephone and the receptionist said someone would contact us. We emailed the owner, Mr. Lindner. We also used the company's website to contact the company. After several months, we have heard nothing from Red Carpet. We recognize our warranty is probably null and void because of Vista's bankruptcy. But we would have appreciated some word from Red Carpet Remodeling. Needless to say, we can no longer recommend them and we will not be using Red Carpet Remodeling when we finally bite the bullet again and replace these shoddy windows.
