My first time using this shop, great experience and now my go to mechanic. Service to my vehicle outperformed the quality of any shops in a 30 mile radius I’ve been too. In addition I had spark plug and induction factory maintenance service. Being naturally skeptical I was truly impressed with the increased performance of my vehicle. I would highly recommend this shop for total car care.

I have needed car repairs done quickly and AAMCO was able to fit me in. The repairs were done right and at a very, fair price. The owner is always in the shop making sure the customers are well cared for and all of the employees are friendly and considerant.

And very reasonably priced. I haven't had a problem with my car or my truck. On things they fixed. I have a ninety two chevrolet pick up truck in a two thousand two Sebring.

I called the Warrenton Aamco and was able to come strait in to diag a vibration issue with my car. The service advisor Alexis was not only professional and friendly but also had an extended knowledge of vehicles as well as the overall automotive industry. Sonny test drove and did the diag and repairs on my vehicle. From the start you could tell he was maticulous and serious about fixing my concerns. He test drove my car after repairs were completed to confirm all issues were resolved. I was not getting my car back until he was happy. I knew if he was happy then I would be also. Outstanding service and repairs completed at this full service facility. Very pleased with the entire experience and resolution of my concerns. :) Thanks Alexis!

I was passing through Warrenton yesterday on a fairly long trip and had two warning lights come on - and I was freaking out and then like a beacon of light - I saw this AAMCO and immediately pulled in. Brian Doyle was so, so helpful. He put air in my tires and checked my oil just to make sure I had enough to get me home. And - he did so free of charge and with a friendly smile on his face!! If I lived anywhere close to to this place - I would love to give them my business! He really saved the day - I don't know if I would've made it home without him!! I honestly can't thank these guys enough - and highly recommend you make use of their services right now!!

We had AAMCO perform a pre-purchase inspection of a used car we were considering buying. They did a thorough job and were able to give us a detailed report. Brian was terrific and spent time with us to help us understand what they found. In the end their expert advice helped us be more informed about the car - it’s pros and cons. 7/21/22 This past week I visited AAMCO in Warrenton. From the moment I walked in until the time I walked out, I was treated like family. These guys are super friendly, super professional and appear to be a wonderful team of mechanics. I cannot begin to fully express the comforting experience I had at this location. As women, sometimes we tend to stray away from mechanics, but these guys are phenomenal. They took the time to fully explain everything I needed to know about what was going on with my car. Absolutely amazing!! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have taken multiple vehicles there for a variety of work and they always do a terrific job with a smile and they don't screw you on the price. Last time they said they wouldn't be able to get everything on the laundry list of issues done for at least a week, they called me 1 day later to inform me it was ready.

My experience with Brian and his staff was amazing. I highly recommend supporting this business for ALL of your car care needs not just the transmission. My a/c needed repairing and I had put off getting it fixed for almost 2 years because of the anticipation of a high repair cost. It turns out the price was half of what it would have cost to go to a Ford repair / dealership. He was professional, yet very personable, honest and thorough. Brian is the most genuine, honest mechanic I think I have ever met. Often times we as consumers are leery going to get repairs in fear that we are being duped or ripped off. Brian was professional and transparent with my issues. They spent an hour and half looking at my CRV to determine if anything pressing needed done so that I could exercise my warranty before it expires. Did not charge me a penny. Brian even offered to go buy me a drink from the gas station next door. Needless to say, I will be taking all my future business there and directing anyone local that way. Great experience.

I knew our transmission was in trouble and I had read you should use a transmission shop to deal with it. I read good reviews about aamco warrenton and decided to give it a shot. From beginning to end I could not be more pleased! Brian can give all customer service people lessons n how to treat your customers and make them feel valued!! He was in contact throughout the process. He called me when the car got there; he called me when they evaluated the car; he called me when the got the new transmission and he updated me as they replaced the transmission. I ran in to a small problem after I got the car back and they were very accommodating to look at it and help resolve it. Brian was always very honest. While having to replace a transmission is never something one wants to do I felt like they were working on my car like it was their own and they treated me and my car that way. I highly recommend them!!!

Honest mechanic! My family and I were going on a roadtrip when a loud disturbing noise began having us rethink our trip. We pulled in to AAMCO hoping they could help us out. They were then happy to help us out and were able to get us back on the road quickly. Highly recommend and will be using them again.

When our radiator began leaking in the middle of an urgent road trip, AAMCO Warrenton recognized our need for quick service and replaced the leaking radiator in an hour and a half so our trip could continue and be complete before an ice storm hit. Other garages in the area told us we'd have to wait till next week! Bobby understood our need and got us back on the road quickly. Five stars!

A friend recommended this AAMCO and I am so glad I took his advise. OMG! After 3 visits this place has become my go to repair shop. I thought AAMCO was just transmissions, but they do so much more here. It's a rare thing to come across a repair shop whose owner is knowledgeable AND honest.

All I can say is these guys know their stuff. I went to several different places, even the dealer and no one could replicate the issue I was having. They took it for a drive and within 15 minutes they were able to replicate and tell me what was going on. Bad new is my transmission was slipping and needed replacing. The great news is that all the places I went to gave me prices for a replacement since I was thinking worst case scenario. They were it the cheapest, but they were definitely not the most expensive either. They were almost in the center of my quotes but had a 3yr 100k mile warranty that included parts and labor.
I got updates every time something was being done and like you see in the photo, I also got pics and texts of the progress. The staff was super friendly and helpful with everything.
Trust and believe you will be in great hands when they tell you what is wrong and what they can do to fix it. No price gouging! Just honest people who do great work!!

Wow. Five stars for Keith and Aamco in Warrenton. I came in with a last minute need for a transmission diagnostic. Keith was working alone, but managed to diagnose the problem, fix it, and I picked up my truck the same day. And it didn't hurt my wallet. He even made sure my tires were properly inflated before I left!. All with a smile and a Happy Holiday handshake.

We have been waiting for over 2 months to have our vehicle repaired. AAMCO put in a remanufactured transmission in January and it failed six months later. We had to engage AAMCO corporate to get agreement on a warranty repair. We have dealt with 3 different managers. We have been waiting for several weeks for a transmission to ship. Nothing yet. We get no updates from the shop on anything without us calling. If you don't mind having your car sit at a repair shop for months, then this is the place for you.

This place is great. I’ve lived in town for nearly 6 years and I’ve never been here. But man, I’m beyond happy with the help I’ve gotten. There are other spots for cars I’ve been to but AAMCO told me what the real deal is. Dean, the manager, gave me professional service helping me with any aspect of my car. He kept me up to date and informative with things all with a positive attitude. One of the mechanics who worked on my car also gets major props—Keith. He was able to see exactly what my issues were from test driving it at least twice; once when it was received and another after work complete. He, too was very informative and knows his stuff. I was literally just there today to pick up my whip and I’d recommend this place to anyone. Don’t let anyone tell you different. 6 stars for the fellas there.

My truck has been here a week and we have yet to get a quote. I called after the truck was towed in and the gentleman that answered the phone assured me he had my number he got it from the tow truck driver. Most of the time when I call I get an answering machine. My husband called got a live person who stated the person who knew what was going on with it was out and would call us back. That was friday still waiting.

I want to say that once the shop got past having a sick tech out and limited staff. They did the repair in about 3 day and that is with ordering parts. The were very apologetic for not communicating the first week. The manager even worked on getting parts for the car from home. I am sure if I need repairs again I would use this shop. They did redeem my confidence in the shop. Thank you aamco for fixing the truck.

Took my daughter's car here because of a recommendation from my regular mechanic that does not do transmissions. She started out at a Ford dealership in Alexandria and they were ridiculously overpriced as dealerships generally are. Larry at Aamco (a great guy) was honest and straightforward. He explained the Ford Fiesta's transmission in detail and exactly what was going on after a test drive. He then explained what needed to be done to correct it and gave me options. The price was reasonable and the car drives beautifully now. He also noticed that the right engine mount needed replacement. No wonder the car was shaking on the right side! (BTW, never by a Ford. Their tranmissions are trouble. This car has only 52M miles!!)
Do not hesitate in taking your vehicle to Larry. You will be pleased!

I'm a retired Honda tech, needed an alignment and Larry and the boys did great. They have a friendly, helpful attitude, the latest equipment and knowledgeable workers. Can't ask for more; I'll continue using them and send others their way!

A few months ago my son's ford explorer broke down , the transmission died ,I called around and Larry had a reasonable price and went above and beyond to help me get the truck to them after I had already had it towed to another shop . They fixed the transmission and checked out some other things and worked with us on the prices. Larry was very friendly and not pushy at all ! I would recommend this AAMCO !

Last year after getting a quote from the Ford Dealer about having to replace my power transfer unit, I went to AAMCO based on the positive reviews. They looked things over and quoted me a significantly lower price, due to labor rates being much lower. They topped off the PTU fluid and did the job quickly. The one negative, that I unfortunately didn't notice until after I left, the technician left grease stains on the interior roof of the car.

My husband and I brought our SUV into Aamco to have some repair work done. It had been taken to another local Warrenton mechanic shop only to have the issue misdiagnosed and pay for an overpriced repair. We also took it to our local dealer for service and the same thing happened. We ended up at Aamco and we are so glad we did. My husband dealt with Larry throughout the diagnostic and repair process. Larry was extremely informative and walked him through what needed to be done. He was honest about things that needed to be done right away and stuff that my husband could do himself in order to save a little money. My husband is mechanically inclined but extremely busy working. They were completely thorough even informing us of some things we were unaware of that needed to be done. All in all we were 100% satisfied with our experience as well as the cost for repairs. Aamco in Warrenton is our mechanic for ALL our vehicles for life! Thank you for taking such great care of us!

This is my go to place in Warrenton. Their prices are reasonable and they always complete the service on time. The team is knowledgeable and courteous. All work is explained to me in detail and there is never any pressure. All choices are up to me. This is a great shop.

Ah-hahhhh!...I see where I messed up now. I wasn't looking at how long ago all of the 5 star reviews were posted for this shop. Makes sense now. D'oh!! ....Ya live and you learn...Almost $800...an extremely inconvenient AND DANGEROUS situation...a trip BACK to the shop to fix A VERY IMPORTANT ITEM that wasn't done properly the first time....and a peace offering of a couple of free oil changes or $100 off any NEXT service, later. Shyeah! Like I'm ever going back to the place that had me dumping my fuel tank in the street at a stop sign, after their techs worked on my automobile! Ha! Pay attention to the time frame of the good reviews...you'll notice a decli....I mean "trend".

I was told last week by the local Jeep dealership that I needed a new transmission for my Jeep. I was told that it was falling apart and that there were metal bits in the fluid. Because of the high cost, I contacted AAMCO for another quote. It was significantly less expensive so I dropped my Jeep off to be serviced. Imagine my surprise when Larry contacted me to tell me that I was about a quart low on transmission fluid but that was it. The fluid was clean and the transmission was fine. AAMCO could have gone ahead and replaced my transmission and I wouldn't have been the wiser. Instead, they told me that it didn't need replacement. As a result, I saved thousands of dollars. My water pump needed replacement and they did that at a good price.

I've had my truck into AAMCO three times in the last year complaining about transmission leaks and power issues. The first time, they rebuilt the transmission and gave me a warranty. Subsequent trips were blamed on "external" components for more $$$$. When I decided to bring my truck elsewhere, they threatened to void the warranty. Basically, their service is very poor and their warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
Update: When the other garage arrived to flatbed my truck out, Warrenton AAMCO had locked the keys in the truck. I had to bring my spare keys down. Bring your business elsewhere!

Larry and his crew have been exceptional to work with on both mine and my wife's vehicles. They are honest, courteous and outgoing. I cannot recommend any other service or repair facilities with greater enthusiasm than Warrenton Aamco.

I had gone to another auto shop to have my car worked on. They told me my breaks were done and needed to be replaced. Something didn't seem right so I decided to take my car to AAMCO in Warrenton for a second opinion.

AAMCO could've told me that my rear shoes were worn and charged me to replace them but they were completely honest and told me (as I suspected) that my rear brake shoes had more than half their life left.

Ever since then I have continued to come back anytime I need something done on my car. Always honest and always a good and fair price.

Highly Recommend. Had some serious transmission slipping issues after my commute from south of Warrenton to Richmond. Didn't know where to take my vehicle. Saw the reviews here and threw the dice by limping my car to this shop and dropping it off after hours with a note to please help. I received a very courteous call the next morning from "Larry" with a promise to take a look and get me a response as soon as they could fit me in. They found the problem and quoted me a very reasonable price. This is NOT the typical transmission place that tries to scare you into having more work done than necessary. I have since brought my car back to them for other work unrelated to the first job they performed for me.

I was in a pretty desperate situation with my van, and the men at Aamco were not only helpful, but also kind. They took the time to do a real diagnosis of my transmission, did the rebuild quickly and well, and even took me for a test drive when I had questions.

There were other minor problems that came up, and no one tried to pressure me into more expensive repairs. They were completely committed to making everything right for me.

Outstanding customer service. I have been through 3 other shops and what I look in a shop is honesty, integrity and great customer service. Jimmy and his team work hard and keep the bays extremely clean and organized ! I don't not mind paying if the work is done right and once, that what Jimmy offers.

The most honest and up front guys you will meet. They do what they say . the follow up calls are second to none.

Honest people who treat you like family. They clearly explain whats wrong with the car and tell you if its essential to fix right away or whether it can wait. They're not looking to rip anybody off, unlike most places in Warrenton.
