I understand companies are looking for work in this economy. However, when a private home has a No Soliciting sign ON the front door, and the employee STILL walks up, rings the bell, and then makes a quip about the sign when the homeowner responds, that tells me this company isnt great about respecting boundaries. Train your employees or your company could be in danger of racking up trespassing fines.

Christian came to my house after we called about a leak, was very thorough with his inspection and was the ONLY rep who explained and the whole roof ventilation thing and how it works. Highly recommend them.

Cody and the crew did a fantastic job on the vinyl siding and gutters on my mom's house from the estimating step all the way until the job was completed. They were prompt, professional, and answered all our questions accurately before, during, and after the job was done. Quality workmanship and Excellent pricing too!

Just had a solar remote control skylight installed and the gentleman was by himself and did an extraordinary job.
He took the time to level the skylight, removed two layers of shingles, tar paper, replaced with new tar paper, two layers of new shingles, caulked the entire skylight, installed a solar box, I was nervous that it would be to big, the solar panel he installed is so small, on the front bottom of the skylight that you can’t even see.
He then cleaned the entire area he worked on the roof, removed all of the old shingles, skylight, cleaned the entire patio and driveway cleaned the entire stove and counter area and then programmed the remote control and to my surprise it comes with a shade that also runs on the remote.

A1 was very professional from the start with the salesman to the communication with the project manager. Cody was awesome and even came to check on the project himself. Not happy with this company. I think they're unprofessional. My daughter had a roof done today. And she picked out a color off the book, and then they came 2 days later with an actual piece of the color,, this company did not do that. I am totally unsatisfied with the job they did on my roof.

I would recommend A1 Home Improvement, LLC to anyone. The project manager Don took time to explain to me how they were going to do the project of reroofing my home. His demeanor was genuine. He was informative, extremely knowledgeable about the project, and likeable. I was impressed by his attention to detail. He was clear and concise in easy understandable language about how they were going to perform the work. He kept me informed as the work progressed and answered all my questions with clarity. He recommended workable solutions to correct past roofers’ mistakes which had caused water to go to one side of the roof or the other damaging parts of the home. He explained how they could divert the water to protect the home. Under his supervision, water diversion techniques were installed on the roofing.

The company kept me informed when they would be coming and most importantly showed up on time. The crew was impressive and hardworking and, in my opinion, did a marvelous job reroofing my home. They also cleaned up after they left which is a plus of a good contractor. Each crew member knew exactly what they were expected to do, and the work progressed quickly and efficiently with no one standing around. Moreover, they worked into the early evening to move the job along. George did an excellent job of moving the project to completion.

Even the initial contacts with A1 were professional. The sales representative, Zachary Palmer, was informative as to the problems with my roof. He was not pushy and provided a notebook for review of his company’s background and the work they do. Mike was also extremely helpful in describing the project planned and discussing issues with the past roofing that I wanted corrected. They also helped deal with my insurance company which was extremely helpful.

The entire experience with A1 was enjoyable. They showed up when scheduled and did the work as agreed.

Patrick was knowledgeable about A1’s products, warranties, procedures, and he provided me with information I would have asked for before I had a chance to (such as certificates of insurance and license copy.) A1’s contract checked all the boxes. A1’s pricing is reasonable, products superior, and everyone I have spoken with has been wonderful.
All of my questions were answered. I called a few times and each time the person I needed to speak to took the time to talk to me.
Supervisors Andre and Steve were great. They took time to answer my questions, showed me drone images of the job in progress, and made sure the yard was completely cleaned up. The attention to detail was much appreciated.

Andrew Krom is awesome, anytime we needed something he was very quick to respond. Andrew was very thorough in details of what was to be done. On the day of the job, Andre the project manager reached out to me. To discuss some options I would have because he found some issues with my original plywood roof. Within minutes problem solved!!! These guys are great. The team was great. Andrew would reach out to us concerning scheduling and whatever we needed. At the end of the day of the roof installation Andre made sure my property was cleaned up nicely. He even got rid of some leaves that were piled up on my lawn. Was in contact with me throughout the day for any concerns!

This review for A1 Roofing is coming one month after my New replacement roof was installed.
My first contact with A1 was through the representative, Andrew, who came to my house and discussed the options and the product that was available to me. He was very helpful very knowledgeable very responsive to. my concerns , and I appreciated working with him immensely. Very professional presentation.

We came to an agreement and signed the contract and scheduled a tentative date, and that date of installation was met as agreed upon.

On the day of installation, the work crew arrived at my house prior to the supervisor. Who came not long thereafter. They got to work immediately. The crew knew exactly how to begin the job and set things up to move in a expeditious manner.. I would confirm the supervisor was friendly and responsive to my input, I do think he lacked the experience, and knowledge I would’ve expected. Although he was willing to call someone with more experience to get clarification. The crew moved and worked to get the job done and it was complete by the end of the day. They cleaned up my property beautifully and I had no complaints in regard to the work on my roof.
This may not be possible for everyone. I do recommend homeowner stay on site whenever they have workers come to do anything in the home. There was one part of the venting installation, that had I not been home, I would not have understood, was not correct.. A-1 was quick to rectify it, and I am pleased with the roof, one month out. My neighbors compliment the roof. I was provided Drone pictures, which really showcase the beauty of my new roof.
Just today, I was afforded a warranty from A1 and encouraged to call if I have any problems or questions or concerns or a claim. I think this company is very professional and they treated me exactly the way I expected to be treated. I would recommend A1 after having done business with them.

I was under a tight (and unreasonable) deadline from my homeowner’s insurance for a complete roof replacement in the dead of winter and A1 Home Improvement made it happen with a couple days to spare despite the snow and weather. They were extremely professional and communicative throughout the process. Because it is a seasonal property and I was a state away, they sent gobs of photos of the entire project from start to finish. Would recommend!

I had my roof done at 40 Nicole road New Britain My roof is leaking above the sliding door in the back of my house they came they said it's not leaking they're trying to say it's an old leak My roof was not leaking before it was replaced they also replaced 12 pieces of plywood they use particle board which I guess they say is what they use now. We had a shingle left on the power line on the side of the house we still have nails and pieces of shingles on the yard this job was done in December and we're still finding nails and pieces of shingles we were promised there wasn't going to be one nail on the property someone soul job was to pick up nails and pieces of shingles and wood etc from the property I have a 6-year-old daughter what happens when she walks outside barefoot this summer and steps on a nail Where's advice to whoever's going to hire them keep on them when they come to do the job make sure they don't leave until they pick up all those nails I had people come three times to pick up nails I think that's a little ridiculous just had to give my opinion but I do love the color of the new roof

A1 did a great job on my new roof and gutters. Clearly defined scope of work, prompt and flexible scheduling, used high-quality shingles with a good warranty. They don't subcontract out their roofing work, which is a big plus. Considerate workers, documented the new roof with photos and videos, and had everything cleaned up by the end of the day. I’ve got nothing but the best to say from my experience. We were helped by one of their sales person named Cody. He was very helpful explaining everything and dealing with our insurance, basically taking care of everything. He was really patient trying explain everything to my mother and trying to make her understand even though she doesn’t speak English, to the point where he tried speaking Spanish (lol) which meant a lot. He even took the time to cover some spots in my roof that were exposed due to a storm, at least until it is warm enough to do the roof.

After he went on the roof we sat down and he showed me all of my options he is very knowledgeable. I decided it was time to replace my old 3tab for a new architecture style roof. The roof looks great and leak has not returned. Everyone was very professional and i highly recommend them.

Good little scam yall got going on! Had one of your roofers (maybe named Zach?, chubby guy with gauges) leave me a flyer telling me I had cupping and that 3 tab shingles were outdated. That’s crazy considering my husband who’s a licensed roofer did our roof 10 years ago and you can literally buy 3 tab shingles from Home Depot at any time. Dude also left his flyer in my mailbox which is illegal let me remind you. Maybe teach your guys how to handle customer service better and when someone says NOT INTERESTED it means not interested. Don’t keep sitting there hounding people. Yall are literally lying to people. Might work on some whom I feel sorry for, but you’re not gonna sucker us out of anything. Nice try though

He listened to our concerns and what we wanted and was able to answer all the questions we had easily. After such a positive interaction, we ended up looking into options for the siding on our home the same day. Mike was a patient, intelligent, informative and kind salesperson. He did everything he could to assist in the insurance claim process which was a nightmare at the fault of my insurance company. Working with the salesman, Mike Fort was such a pleasure. He is very knowledgeable. Knowing their product and being available for any questions. He even called me back on his day off.
On the day of the job, the project manager, (I believe) Doug and his workers were efficient and courteous. My yard was left cleaner than it was when they came, picking up any debris that might have fallen. They did a beautiful job. It looks amazing I am extremely pleased.

Crew arrived at 7Am and worked until around 6 PM. All crew members were professional. The job was completed and yard was left immaculate. Some of my neighbors didn't even realize I had my roof replaced. Very impressed with the work they'd done, highly recommended.
