Wincore Windows

I would like to acknowledge Phil Jack, our local window representative in Nashville, Tennessee. When a rare occurrence of a missing part was discovered on a sliding door I called Phil. He immediately got on the issue. This was on a Friday and he had it sent UPS so we had it as soon as possible. I deal with lots of companies and often think customer service is a thing of the past. It's great to know that isn't the case with this company. Phil is awesome. Wincore has awesome products and obviously awesome representatives. Thanks Phil for being there when we needed you.

We had our windows replaced earlier this year with the wincore 5400 series. Install by our local company was great, we did have an issue with 4 of the windows not wanting to stay open. There was a broken piece that hindered the operation. Which most likely happened durning shipping as the company that delivered them did have them fall flat in the box truck when they unstatapped. Once the parts came in Aaron( wincore's sales rep) was able to schedule to work for me to make the repairs. Repairs took 2hrs and he was promot and very helpful. I'm sure the repairs will be fine and hold nothing against wincore themselves. We are very pleased with Wincore's followup service and im confident they will continue to back any issues that may arise in the future.

I had a new home built 5 years ago. The contractor used Wincore windows.
As soon as we moved in,I could see that almost all of the windows had marks inside the double pane.
ALL of the windows were replaced. The replacements also had marks,but not as bad. Within a few months,two windows could not be pulled in to be cleaned(double hung). I don't trust any of them,so I have to go outside to clean all the windows!
Now, the majority of windows have visible marks and fog inside the double panes.
I cannot recommend Wincore.

I had then installed in my last house built in the 60s about15 years ago , they made the house more efficient and the outside noise level was so much better. I had them installed in my 30s house last year, and they are still awesome, i feel a lot of the success is the quality of the installation, i had the same private installer both times and probably twenty or thirty people I worked with used him and Wincore windows they were very satisfied.

I have sold Wincore windows for several years and have had no problem that was any problem to repair. Wincore sent parts to my wholesaler without any problem and fast.

Great windows, and when we had a balancer go out, a sales rep came very fast to make a repair. Thank you!

Couldn’t be happier with the windows from Wincore very well built windows and very energy efficient. Great sales staff and easy to work with through out the whole process.

Our Wincore windows recently installed meet all expectations. The Wincore rep (Mike DeBacco) is absolutely outstanding. When The installer (Home Performance Alliance) would not come back and finish the contract we were put in touch with Mr DeBacco. He went out of his way on more than one occasion to send us the parts and instructions on making the necessary finishing installations ourselves. His response to every phone call or text was immediate. This gentleman is a credit to his company. He made this 86 year old guy a little easier to live with

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Wincore windows are a complete disappointment. I purchased over 20 8800 series impact windows. They are draftier than the broken 20+ year old vinyl ones that were removed. Cold and hot air comes rushing in between the upper and lower portions and around them. There are excessive gaps between the frame and the sashes that are greater than the weather stripping.
The impact sliding door is even worse than the windows. The tile next to the door is too cold to stand on. Did I mention I live in Florida? It isn't even that cold here. The door is very unattractive, with steel nails showing around the frame and the frame is FREEZING cold with no insulation in it.
I hate to think what these windows are going to do to my air conditioning bill in the summer if they are this cold in the mild winter.
ALSO, all the products make a tremendous amount of noise in the wind. They whistle and squeal, loudly, driving us nuts during the day and wake us at night. I have attached a video.

Worst of all, we had problems with the installer. See the photo attached to view the inch gap between the frame of my house and the frame of the window. When I reached out to Wincore for help, I was referred to the sales rep for Florida who outright told me that he would not help me.

I've had wincore windows since 2016 and I have (2) major issues.
1. My wife was hanging Christmas decorations today, 11/28/2023 and the spring that assists the upper sash broke and crushed her pinky finger between the windows. Had to call a neighbor to go over and pry the windows apart while our newborn was screaming and I was over an hour away. It was an obvious quality failure that resulted in horrible circumstances.

2. When it's cold in ohio, I can feel the air blowing through the vertical tracks. I have shoved foam or paper towels down the gaps to help but it's pretty ridiculous.

I really hope Wincore makes this right but I haven't had any luck reaching g a local rep.

12/3 - Update: Got ahold of the rep and they are supposed to be replacing my wondow/s. If all goes well, I'm happy with that customer service.

Not impressed! No better than off the shelf from Lowe’s or Home Depot.
Better make sure you caulk the outside between glass and vinyl or you’ll end up with popped seals, water in your walls, and on inside sills, causing rot!!
Now try to get a response for warranty! Silence!!!!

I have been a dealer of Wincore Windows and Doors for many years. I cannot say enough about the great products they manufacture, the great customer service and how many satisfied customers I have. I appreciate Wincore Windows & Doors!

This would have been a 5 star review, but the first inspection failed due to improper installation. They had to remove and reinstall all the windows. Now I have damaged windows, they look used. Signed the contract in 06/22 and were not installed until 12/22. Contractor(Home Improvement Alliance) said the windows were not ready until 12/22. I do like the windows, but the installation was done incorrectly

Had Wincore windows installed 3 years ago. Have had nothing but problems. You can feel cold coming in on both sides of the channel. We are told that the way homes are built when windows are replaced they don’t always fit tight. That’s a sorry excuse! The rep that our contractor deals with tries to blame it on the installation and it’s not. Also the latches are made of plastic and break easily. Never knew they were plastic until we had 2 break. Even the contractor who sells them did not know this. If I had to do it all over again, I would purchase Anderson - best windows out there.

Still waiting for a patio door screen for a year, the homeowner who lives literally 4 houses away has been asking about it and both the homeowner, the distributor (abc) and I have all been asking for this screen now for what seems like forever and is probably closer to over a year for sure. The patio door also the seed in the door was ripped. I reached out to them and talked to them several times and when they sent me a screen it was the wrong brand and wrong color. I would like everyone to know about how fraudulent and dirty this company is they also told the homeowner they’d give them a coupon but instead nothing, no emails, no phone calls, no text messages and my next plan of action is is a lawsuit, and the bbb.

As a window installer of 38 years I come across a lot of Quality Windows, Wincore Windows are one the best or the best I have had the experience to install.They are made with pride and top of the line materials from glass to frame and everything in between. Where do we start. We ordered windows for a customer of ours and through the duration of the project we had about 5 damaged windows. Some of the windows were so bad that ABC supply never even delivered them. Then we had glass that was glazed wrong with the Low E on the inside. I've tried to reach a supervisor to the sales rep in our area and its been almost a year and still waiting in my call back. They will just avoid the subject because they do not care. Their sales rep even had the audacity to tell our homeowner that none of the problems were from them which is totally false. We do not glaze the glass or package and send extremely damaged windows out. So as far as I'm concerned they are liars and have poor quality control. Don't waste your time find any window other than this one. Lowes or Home depot windows are better than this junk and that is saying something. I know that mistakes happen but for their rep to throw blame to everyone except them is a true shame

Had to replace a handle on a slider door. Jim was able to find the handle that would work and ship to us at no cost. Part took a little longer then expected to receive but Jim was great at communicating with us to find the right part. Thank you Jim and Wincore!

We are in the process of building a house and decided to have Wincore Windows installed over Anderson, while the window is nice the customer service is terrible. I feel the supplier is more important to them than the customer is, We paid for the windows not the supplier. Wincore you need to stand up for your customer and stand behind your products.....

Absolutely terrible customer service you call up every friggin number and they can't even give you a dealer's phone number or the name of a dealer WOW worthless they need to go back to Simonton and learn basic customer service skills they may have come from Simonton but they are no Simonton that's for sure they' were probably fired from Simonton thx for a 2 hour run around and not a single price. I could oy imagine what it would be like if i got wincore windows and had a problem with them

Fantastic product, I got all of the windows replaced on my 1925 house and the difference is night and day. They match the original house so well. The temperature difference is also physically noticeable, we use the ac a whole lot less now that these are installed.

Amazing products with a warranty I can trust. Had my whole house installed about 1 year ago and the installer found one little defect I couldn’t even see and it was ordered and fixed in no time at all. Since then, not a single problem. Whether it’s cold or hot outside the temp inside has stayed right where I want it to without the ac or heat having to run often.

I recently purchased Wincore 8800 impact windows for my home in southwest Florida. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The price of the product was competitive and the installation came out beautiful.

I evidently made a mistake in ordering Wincore products. The process began in the Spring and the problems were NOT fully rectified until September. We bought 9 double-hung replacement windows and a sliding patio door. Nine sashes had defects, one screen already had a hole in it, and the patio door had actual gashes in the glass. All the windows had some kind of adhesive on them that required solvent and lots of pressure to remove, and as I cleaned the adhesive you left on them, I found dirt,lint, bubbles, and finger smudges inside the double panes. So, your representative inspected, agreed with what I found, and supposedly ordered replacements for the sashes with defects, the screen, and the sliding patio door. So, I get a call the replacements are ready. Lo and behold, only 7 sashes arrive and no patio door. Rep takes more information down and several weeks later says the replacements are in. He shows up with ONLY the patio door and no sashes. But now the patio door has scratches in the glass as if someone took a car windshield ice scraper and went to town on the glass not realizing it was scratching the glass. So then we needed yet another door and still no missing sashes. So, then the second replacement door shows up but NO sashes, which required yet another return visit. Ridiculous it wasn't taken care of with one return visit, rather than requiring 4 and the entire Summer to get it rectified. Windows leaving the factory with very sticky adhesive on the glass that was left for us to clean, defects that were readily visible if anyone paid attention, and multiple return visits but not with all the products required. And, we have no idea how well these windows will actually help with our energy costs. We paid for the supposed top of the line replacement windows and it may have been a mistake.

Windows are great quality , but like anything else. Make sure you have a professional install the window. Just had 17 replacement windows installed and they look and function great.

WinCore windows 7700 series I had these windows for three years now 2 Winters and I have to say I am very happy with the product and decision I made I got my windows from MorningStar Windows and doors in Farmingdale New York I have to say the people that will reverie nice too.Back on the windows I Purchased like 25 windows to do my home over I have no complaints on the windows I had a little tear in the screen I call the company and they replaced it 123 no questions asked. I do do contract work and be using the windows over four years and very happy with them and decide to use them on my own house that’s decision I made wincore keep up the good work

Best window company truthfully. Any one who has anything negative to say about these windows forgets the fact that they have lifetime warranty so no matter what they have your back! I love my windows! And haven’t had no issues! Highly recommend them to any one

I have installed Wincore windows in 3 homes and a condo so far, and have had zero problems. They are top quality, and the folks there were attentive and helpful when I asked them to change color on an order already made for two windows which needed to be brown on the outside with a tan interior. Even though it was my screw-up.

I hate that I have to write this review, but I thought other buyers should be aware of this when considering Wincore. My window installer recommended wincore and I had them installed last October of 2017. Two of the eleven windows that arrived had scratches or dust/dings on the inside of the windows, between the panes. A third window a solid gash on the interior frame of the window that you can see from the living room, but we've decided to live with this as fixing it would have meant not being able to install the window on installation day and I can't confirm that the gash was done by the installer or not. However, the scratches and dust in between the panes could only have occurred at the factory during production. I told my installer about this and he started working with Wincore to get them replaced. Well, it's June and Wincore was finally able to provide him with replacements. It took 7 months. During that period I noticed that a third large window in the front our house that Wincore provided had failed. There was fog building up inside the pane when you opened the window. So 3 of 11 windows now need to be replaced. I just got replacements for all 3 today and only 1 is good enough to replace the original windows. The other two have scratches, dings, or dust in between the two panes of glass. One of those saches also cracked where two sides of the window come together which could mean water or air could get in there in the future. I'm going to try to work with Wincore and my installer on Monday to get these replaced again. Folks, I don't know if this is poor quality control, it seems like it, but I would not recommend you go with Wincore as you clearly need to inspect every single window they give you for issues. Clearly the replacement process and results are also lacking given that the replacement windows have similar or new issues and they take so long to replace them. I really wanted these windows to work out, but given these issues I would not recommend buying from Wincore. I'll post again if anything changes.

We have installed these windows for years. I have them in my own home and in the offices at both of the business we currently own. They are simply the best. I used a contractor Bryan here and found out all about wincore windows. their quality is just as good as the high priced Anderson windows and same warranty, these people manufacture fantastic windows and will continue to buy them , way better quality than Home depot for a little less money

I purchased a very old home and completely gutted it, all new wiring, plumbing, electricla, roof, windows, etc. 7 Years into it and our Wincore Windows are fantastic. I did have issues with 2 of the 20+ windows and their customer service already had replacements on the way in a matter of minutes! Very impressed.

No manufacturing process is 100% perfect. However, the professional technicians at Wincore strive to produce a quality product for every order we purchase. I arrived 20 hours prior to my delivery appointment. Thought I was gonna have to wait, but they unloaded me within an hour. They do have overnight parking if you run outta hours or are close on hours.

Love the 5400 windows. 7700 is super high quality you can't get a better window for the money. We've used so many different windows over the past 30 years. I love how these are built. Look forward to many years dealing with the company who started simonton windows.

I replaced all of my windows with Stormforce impact windows by Wincore. At first I was uneasy because they were only offered by one local company. I believe that I made the right decision for my home. I could not be any happier with my purchase!
