This company is a fraud and I would never advise anyone to use their service. Wildwood was a great company 2y ago but it was sold to a dishonest contractor who just bought the brand and is now milking the name. You will see terrible reviews for their shoddy work both on Google and Yelp.
This company was supposed to do my entire roof (was written change roof) but they skipped part of it because it wasn't shingles but metal. There were explicit exclusions but this was not one and I was never told about it. When I started having leaks, they lied by arguing it was animal related; until I paid an animal control who said that was nonsense. Then they took months and did one fix that did not solve anything. I had to pay for repairs myself.
I will be suing them, not for the cost but because this is a bad company and their bad behavior must be documented. If you had issues with them, they need to be sued so they go out of business. This type of company pollute the hard work of many good contractors in st louis and buying out a good brand to do what they are doing is simply dishonest.
I had Wildwood Roofing handle a roof and gutter install at my business location, and while they did a great job on the actual project, their customer care was severely lacking.
I communicated with them upfront, making it clear that we would be open during the installation and was assured they would be mindful of our guests by not throwing roofing and gutter materials near the front entrance. Unfortunately, that wasn’t communicated to the crew. I tried speaking with the workers on-site, but there was a language barrier. Despite multiple calls to address the issue and being assured the situation would be resolved, nothing changed. The materials continued to be thrown in walkways, creating a hazard for our guests.
To make matters worse, when I called customer service and management, I received no call-backs. After my seventh call, I was told, ‘Well, it’s over now, and your roof looks good, so what’s the issue?’
If you’re just looking for a nice roof and gutters, Wildwood Roofing can deliver. But if you expect them to respect your property and care about customer concerns, I would look elsewhere. I was disappointed by the lack of care and follow-through after being reassured multiple times that they would be mindful.
Update. Unfortunately, wildwood roofing was hired caused significant damage to the siding while removing materials, leaving multiple holes. Despite reaching out multiple times, they have refused to return our calls or come back to repair the damage. Their explanation was that the siding is old, but we believe that should have been accounted for in their initial bid.
Attached are photos showing the large holes they created. This has caused additional stress and frustration, as it seems they are unwilling to take responsibility for the damage they caused. We will continue to pursue a resolution.
We had our roof completely redone by Wildwood in 2021. Our roof still has the same leaks after several corrections and a free-ish siding addition. We recently had a home inspection to find out Why. The inspector found several concerns with the roof that was installed by WildWood. The concerns are from covered lintels, loose shingles, improperly placed flat roofing, improperly wood placement, fascia concerns....All the way down to knowing that Caleb with Wildwood Roofing swindled us out of our 50k Spanish Clay Tile Roof. We were forced to remove our roof and told numerous times that we could not coordinate a pick up or removal that would allow the selling of our Expensive tiles. The value of our home has now diminished due to lack of a proper roof, damage done from years of leaking, as well as our original roof being removed and replaced with something much cheaper and just overall done poorly. There is so much more to say, but there's Not enough space or time to Type it all.
We spent over 15k on the roof with all of the extras we were coerced into purchasing, and it all required multiple corrections. Even the corrections need to be corrected! I can not believe we thought they were reputable. And it's 2024, and we are still finding nails all over our yard. Ugh.
