Thursday, July 24, 2025 My dismay yesterday at finding a very wet carpet, complete with the beginnings of mold, in my downstairs carpet was much relieved with the contact I made with Servpro this morning. After an initial assessment of my problems with a brief on-site visit from Mario , in a short time the team of Coltin, Branden and their crew chief, Tucker arrived at my door. All three young men made every effort to make me feel comfortable while they worked here in my home. Tucker's description of what needed to take place was exactly what happened. In about two hours they had taken out six tall damaged bookcases above the wet carpet, removed the carpet and pad and cut through enough of the sheet rock walls to determine that all traces of the wet moldy gunk had been removed. He assured me that I will have a daily visit to check on the air machines. I am an older 80 something widow who thoroughly appreciate the respect and no-nonsense approach Tucker used with me. This Servpro team was terrific and I heartily recommend their service.

I have multiple pets and our carpet needed a good cleaning. Tucker and Coltin did a great job! Professional, friendly and really seemed to care about the quality of their work. I’d recommend them for sure!

Fred & Paul if ServePro Rapid City, SD, we're kind & professional. Servpro was fantastic! From the first phone call to the completion of the remediation, we had an excellent experience. When we noticed that our basement had flooded after a recent rain storm, we called Servpro. The call center attendant was gracious and explained the process. She had knowledge of my home insurance company and was up front about the expense of after hours, weekend work. We opted to wait until morning for a team to come out to our house.

Monday morning, Paul and Fred arrived on time as promised. They were quick, efficient, and courteous to our family and pets. They cleaned up all minor messes they made and kept us updated us off what we happening.

We received a call from Joe the same day to come and look at the house damage to schedule repairs after Paul and Fred were done. Joe, also, arrived on time and explained different options regarding replacing carpeting, flooring, and the dry wall and trim.

From start to finish, we've had a great experience. While I wish we didn't have to deal with our basement flooding, I'm glad I called Servpro to help us with the repairs. I fully expect that the process of repairing the house will be just as great.

If you ever have a water problem Servpro are ones to call! Joe H, Drew V, and Mike W are a great team! The finished project was excellent making it better then it was! Highly recommend!

A sudden storm with torrential rains passed through Rapid City, and we got water in our finished basement. I called Servpro right away and they were out right away. This happened after hours, and they worked very hard to get their equipment in and water removed. Mason M., Koda, and Fred were very professional, very thorough in the work they did. They knew exactly wha to do and worked very hard to get things done. We are very appreciative of their hard work, and would recommend them to everyone. Thank you guys, for a job well done.

After experiencing mitigation and restorative services last year, Josh was called in this past June to provide more extensive restoration services. He arrived daily for four days. He worked continuously coming at 7:30 and leaving most days after 6:00 PM, without breaking for lunch! He exemplifies the term “attention to detail”. He repaired previous “sloppy” work and now my deck looks great! For example, he discovered the deck had all interior nails. He repaired those with 3X galvanized nails. Josh repaired the mismatched caulking color that now is nearly invisible! He was definitely a detective in determine the root of the water damage as the more he worked on solving one issue, he’d discover another problem with the omission of flashing, mold on house wrap, and the installation of the French doors, all at the same time he was able to restore almost an entire interior wall from water damage! I definitely appreciat him showing me what he was doing and his plan for continued work!

This second restoration services will continue with regrading the landscaping and in 2026, replacing the French door! He solved the problem and repaired work all in four days. He also installed the blinds that had been taken down from the first restoration services! It is glaring that he is experienced and on a mission to find the root of the problem! I have requested he return in 2026 to fix issues that occurred in many years ago. Lastly, he was meticulous in his work and there was not one bit of cleaning for me to do when he was finished! I was soooo fortunate to have a team of J’s making things right from the mitigation work by Jimmy, the 2nd restoration work by Josh, and the General Manager that drove not once but twice from Rapid City to Sheridan! on a 1-10 scale, Serve Pro deserves a 20!!!!!! Below are 3 before the second restoration service and one after.

We had a sudden thunder storm here in Summerset SD. Water collected in our window wells and broke through, causing a flood in the downstairs. I called Servpro and had a crew at the house at 8:00 AM the next morning. These guys were just great, worked like the house was theirs. By the end of the day, the remediation phase of the disaster recovery was done, and I feel good about the rebuild. These are my Heroes, Tucker,Glen,Fred , crew chiefs; Brandon,Colton,Gabe and Koda, technicians. I give them all 5 Stars.

I schedule Servpro every summer. The cleaning keeps our carpet looking new and smelling fresh. Tucker and Coltin were friendly and worked hard. Our carpets are once again fluffy and soft. Servpro has always been the choice since we accidentally flooded our basement several years ago and the owner came late in the evening to help.

We had a water event last weekend. Called several places, a Servpro representative answered the phone and passed me along to someone here in Rapid City. The Servpro guys were onsite and got right to work very quickly. They were very knowledgeable and helped us with this process. The whole Servpro team has been absolutely amazing to work with even tho the circumstances for them coming were anything but pleasant. From our first meeting with Mario, to the whole crew (Mason, Colton, DJ and Fred) who did all the clean-up and after visits to Nikki’s final walkthrough, they treated us with nothing but respect. As a local Realtor, I’ve been working with Serv-Pro for years, recommending them to my clients for Emergency disaster cleanup from water damage.
Personally, I’ve used Serv-Pro too; I’ve always been impressed with them for carpet cleaning and rugs.
I did not realize Serv-Pro also cleans furniture and has a product to protect furniture from stains! So when they came today to clean carpets, I had them clean my furniture and protect it, as well. And they did a beautiful job, as they always do. And they always do it professionally with great attitudes and smiles
But today I have to say Tucker and Brandon really knocked it out of the park. My smoke detectors ran out of batteries, and these guys helped me troubleshoot what was going on (at first, I thought it was something with the security system). They went into my garage and helped me find a tall enough ladder, they changed the batteries in all three smoke detectors, they insisted on putting the ladder back in the garage for me… I mean these guys were seriously the best!
All day long they had me laughing and smiling, but what a cherry on top- Obviously, they did not have to do that and it just shows Serve-Pro is a company that encourages their staff to go the extra mile for the customer if they have a couple of minutes extra in their schedules.

The crew was so professional. I know a few names, Fred, Tucker, Glen, Coltin, Paul, Mario. I'm sure there were others that I don't remember. They were all so friendly. We certainly appreciated all of them. Good guys for sure . You should be proud of them all. Larry and Cheryl Weisz.

We had a major water leak with 7.5" water in my basement. Servpro showed up within 1/2 hour and removed all of the water and started remediation. The pad and carpet were saved. 2' of sheet rock was removed (along with insulation) and replaced, painted along with stain blocker (mold resistant). The carpet was replaced and cleaned. Everyone was professional and pleasing to be around. The names I have are Josh, Drew and Mike. I don't have the names of the original crew that removed the water but they were great. Servpro worked directly with our insurance company.

3” of water damage in my basement, from a faulty water heater. My homeowner’s insurance called SERVPRO, and they immediately came out and started working. Paul, Mason, Glen, Fred, DJ, and Brandon were very professional, explained every thing they were doing, and cleaned up after themselves. It took five days for them to get everything dried out, flooring removed, drywall removed, but now I’m ready to start thinking about renovation. SERVPRO made a bad experience doable!

So to update my previous review on the big job we have going on at my place. We have furniture going back into the house and the team consisted of Taylor, Devin, and Gabe. All good workers and a pleasure to have around. Everything went well with minor setbacks. Some scuffs and dings on a couple pieces of furniture occurred and was brought to my attention immediately. All is being taken care of to my satisfaction without a fuss. Great team and company to work with!

On another note, some finish work had to be completed to finish the job and that was up to Drew and Mike. Baseboards, trim, dishwasher, and panels under the counters needed altered to fit because of the thickness of the new flooring. Drew is absolutely fantastic. Good worker, polite, and brings everything to your attention so you know exactly whats going on and how he's doing it. Highly recommended in my book. Both did a great job!

When our water softener malfunctioned late in the day on a Friday afternoon, ServPro was here in just a few hours and worked for days until they got all the wet flooring and wall coverings out and drying. They kept in touch daily and got the restoration completed in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend if you have a disaster in your home or business.

We had Servpro come out and do the reconstruction of our basement for water damage. Karl came out went over everything, very professionally done. We had a water leak that affected 5 rooms. ServPro came in to do all the mitigation and rebuild. My husband has been in the construction business for 50 years, so the bar that they needed to meet was set pretty high. Drew and Mike made an awesome team. They worked together well and in a timely manner. The best, and most important aspect, was that they meet that high bar that my husband set. We would recommend ServPro without hesitation.

Drew and Mike were the repair team that took care of the ceiling and wall damage in our basement after a pipe burst back in May. This duo was courteous, professional, responsive and super efficient with the repairs, painting and cleanup. After all was said and done, Drew and Mike made our basement look slick and span; all better again! Thanks to the ServePro Team and to Drew and Mike to doing amazing work. Highly recommend!!

I cannot say enough good things about this crew! Mike W., Drew, and Andy have been with us throughout the whole process. We are very remote and had a water leak in our basement. Fortunately, the ServPro team took on the job. Dew and Mike were very friendly and very organized with the reconstruction of our bathroom and laundry room. They both took precautions not to get the floors dirty by putting down floor protectants. They keep us informed on the progress that was being made and what the next steps would be getting the job completed.

So glad ServPro added their restoration Services. I had trouble finding contractors for all my small jobs.
ServPro was prompt removing the damaged areas and making my home safe then developing a plan to make my home fully functional. They worked well with my insurance company. Quotes and other communications were delivered in a timely manner.
While all services were very good, of particular note were Mike and Josh who fixed my fixed my floors and did an amazing job laying tile. They were always prompt, efficient, professional, communicated expectations and timelines, and personable. They even cleaned up after themselves daily! I will be thankful for them & their workmanship daily as l walk on my beautiful new floors.

Had a water pipe burst on New Year’s Eve. I got home in the 6th of January and Jesse Bauer was here on the following Friday and worked through the weekend to get my house back in order so insurance could finish their portion. Would highly recommend. Billed insurance company.

We saw the reviews and thought we’d give them a try. They came to clear out our ventilation system and they did fantastic work. The services done were excellent, and they completed it relatively quick. We did have an issue but it was fixed rather quickly. I wouldn’t mind using them again.They also told us to clear out the system every 3 years, and I will be calling them in the future. Thank you.

I have used this company three times. The first time was for a flood in my basement. I contacted them and they arrived promptly even through Bike week in the Black Hills. My brand new carpet was pulled up and dried. The places fans down and came a few days later to pick up.
I have since used then to clean my carpet. The person who schedules the appointment is always very kind and helpful.
Specifically Austin has showed up on every occasion to my home. He calls ahead to time to confirm his arrival. He arrives and lefts me know what he is going to do and gets to work.
He always closes with instructions on drying time etc.
He is a hard worker and cares for your furniture and needs etc… He has a pleasant disposition and takes his position seriously and represents ServPro well…
Ask for Austin you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I were having a room in our house being carpeted and as the carpet guy was pulling up the existing tile, he found water and mold. We called Servpro and Jesse came out and gave us a quote. Jesse was very helpful and explained the process. Throughout the whole process, Jesse would call daily, or stop by to make sure everything was in order. The room was fully furnished with furniture and they moved it all to our garage to store while they worked. I have to say they were some of the hardest working guys, and very friendly, professional and always helpful to explain their progress and what steps were next.

I have to admit both my wife and I were stressed at the beginning since our insurance refused to cover the damage. But, working with the guys at Servpro turned out to be the best and least stressful thing we could have done. It was a great feeling to know all these guys had our backs and made it right!

Jonah and Travis did a superior remediation job after a sewer line came apart under my home, resulting in a hazardous waste situation. They completed the job in one day, so plumber could repair pipe. Good price and good customer service. Highly recommend.

I recently went through the Cleghorn fire and damage was minimal but I have to say the response time , professionalism , and go above and beyond anything I could have asked for happened with this company . I had a flood in my basement, they were there in no time and were awesome every step of the way. Great team, I highly recommend them!

My 2015 Ford Explorer Sport sat outside for 8 weeks during Covid19. I didn't need to drive. When I finally started it I found that a packrat or mouse had died into the vehicle's air system. It was undrivable. I mean, it literally was a health hazard.

I worked with American Family Insurance. I have full coverage and they suggested ServPro. It took several weeks but that was fine. ServPro killed the smell plus found three more dead mice under the battery.

My beautiful Explorer is perfectly clean now. It looks brand new and now I can enjoy driving it again. What a relief! Thank you ServPro and thank goodness I had full coverage insurance with American Family Insurance who was very good about this whole ordeal. Hallelujah.

I could not be more impressed with these guys. Everyone I interacted with was absolutely professional and helpful. They did literally everything the right way, including the little things about how they treated the parts of my house that weren't damaged. Jesse, who ran point on my project, is razor sharp, attentive, and frankly just very enjoyable to interact with.
