Walmart Supercenter - Socorro, NM

Nice little Walmart. I found the fresh produce I needed. The meat selection was very unexpected from a small town location.

Overnight RV parking allowed for now. There is a security guard actively patrolling in his truck. Not a very busy place.

I like this walmart. It's off the interstate, and it's easy to get your needs and leave. They actually have cashiers.

Have just about everything I need but prices are wow too high and perishables are expired 2 days after buying.

Everyone is always very nice in the store, but they should really be checking receipts of everyone who comes through self-check. There were at least three employees up front to check receipts and I watched the guy in front of me go straight through without ringing up a bottle of liquor.

They allow truck parking while shopping, but ,when busy, can be fun finding room. Clean, well stocked store. Friendly and helpful staff.

Long lines and was swarmed by an undercover worker with a beard who was pretending to not work there. I knew he did and asked a question he answered and went about his job duty. LOL

Employees act very aloof about working here. They awkwardly stand in the way and don’t acknowledge you as a customer in any way. I noticed this with every employee at the store. At the self checkout the employee stood in the way of the exit and I just had to weirdly walk around him despite the tighter space there.

And the bathrooms are disgusting.

Store was clean, cashier was friendly, store was easily accessible from the interstate and I found all the items I was looking for.

The store is clean and well stocked. We parked our RV overnight on the garden center side of the store. There were three other rigs also there. Quiet, level, well lit, no problems.

Went in for prescription and dog food. The line at pharmacy was extremely long so took about 30 minutes. Buying the dog food took a few minutes.

The building is disgusting, the shelves are never fully stocked despite there being 800 stock people blocking the aisles at all times. The parking lot is full of carts, beggars, and drug addicts.
Everything is overpriced. Just saw yet another price jump.

Additionally, everything is now being put behind plastic so you have to wait for an employee to never arrive to get it for you.

Typical corporate run Wal mart. Do not use this pharmacy if you need your medication, waited 2 wks for prescription, finally had it moved to Belen where they filled it within an hour. Maybe if they get off their phones long enough to do some work they wouldn't be so far behind

This place is abysmal if you need any kind of help. If you're disabled, don't go grocery shopping before 8 am because they'll tell you no one is scheduled on a register for check out and will tell you to do it yourself. Direct words from the supervisor AFTER I said I was disabled. Don't bother asking for help in electronics or customer service either. They just look at you and either walk away or help someone else.

I miss the bigger Walmarts from back home. This one is just too small.

I have seven dogs to feed. And some of them need special food do to their age. I going to my local Walmart, l might find the food once maybe twice and then it's never back on the shelf again. The dog food aisle is always empty. Obviously someone isn't doing their job.
