I had a spay on bed liner applied. Virtually indestructible according to them. One month later I have chips, and Frank, the self proclaimed "most knowledgeable guy here" told me anyone with ANY common sense knows you can't put heavy things in a truck. They will charge a full price to redo it.

Truck Outfitters posted an ad on Facebook Marketplace for a Leer 100s for my Ram 3500. They were prompt, polite and insightful. They provided the best experience possible. I drove 6 hours one way. They had me in and out in an hour with perfect install! Highly recommend this locally owned and operated shop!!

Have had a topper done in previous truck. Have had a hard flip lid on this truck, spray in liner, and air bags by them. Pleased with service, appointment timing, products. Recommend.

The entire process of getting my tonneau cover replaced was fairly quick. Installation was effective. Feedback for improvement would be for someone to show how well the new cover works as compared to what was expected. Price was comparable to all covers available near me, and install cost was fair.

I’ve purchased two caps from truck outfitters. I’ve always had a positive experience and the customer service working with Doug and Jeremiah is very good. Most recently I had a mechanical issue(lock mechanism) with one of the caps (6yrs old). Doug walked me through a couple of scenarios over the phone that I checked out personally (my choice, I live 35 minutes away). This saved me from driving to the shop. I resolved the issue and Doug still provided me with a small part I wanted “just-in-case” it happened again. Doug helped me out instead of requiring me to come into the shop for service and charging me for a simple fix. I appreciate the way he has treated me over the years.

I recently purchased the Bakflip MX4 from Truck Outfitters for my new 2025 Ram with the multi-function tailgate. The team was incredibly helpful in suggesting truck bed covers, considering the reinforcement bars on my truck bed that limited my options. I placed my order, and the cover arrived within a day or two, with my installation appointment scheduled for the following week.

During the installation, the team noticed some dents and scratches on the cover. They promptly informed me, knowing it wouldn't be acceptable. I'm grateful they did, as I'd rather wait a few more days than settle for a cover I'd be unhappy with. They received a new cover the next day, but unfortunately, it was missing the drainage hose. Rather than making me wait even longer, they installed the cover and coordinated with the supplier to get the drainage hose as soon as possible. It arrived the next day, and they completed the job.

I'm thrilled I chose Truck Outfitters, as those minor issues were not their fault but the fault of the BakFlip cover supplier. If I hadn't gone through them, I would have had to deal with the supplier myself, repack everything, and arrange for shipping it back. By choosing Truck Outfitters, they managed all of that and got the new cover installed much faster. Plus they did a great job installing it. One thing I thought I was going to have on the cover was a soft cushion so when the cover rests against the window. When I asked about it, we looked up the product, and I noticed it didn't come with it. I was like okay, I'll figure something out. But the installer said one minute, and ran into the shop and back. He found some rubber cushion and helped install that for me free of charge. He really didn't have to do that, but it was great that he did. Outstanding customer service. I would definitely recommend them.

After playing games at the dealership when purchasing a new truck, Truck Outfitters really saved my tail. The entire staff is great but Courtney was amazing. She was so prompt and personable I don't think I could have asked for better service. This is my second time purchasing a cap from them and they are also installing a bed rug. I still highly recommend them.

Came in ordered a ARE cap . Sales man called me later that day and said they do not make model I ordered for my truck. Changed my order to a leer. Got my leer cap installed the other day and made a few complaints about things that were different from what I wanted. Sales man was too busy to talk to me about it. I told the girl at the desk,but seemed like she couldn't so anything about it.
When I first arrived for my appointment I asked my Sales man about a cooler they had sitting in the showroom. He was very rude and said price is on it. Just because of how rude he was I didn't purchase that. I am very disappointed with how I was handled. I do have to say the installer was extremely nice and helpful. Too bad everyone there isn't the same.

Wonderful staff to work with. Got my windows tinted and weather tech floor mats. Fast and efficient and pricing was fair. Will go back if I need anything else. Thanks Truck Outfitters.

Had a problem with my cap that I bought 2 years ago. Cable and latch broke. They fixed it in 10 minutes. No charge. Would happily have paid something. That’s why I stay with local companies. Higly recommend

Jason caps recommended we go there to replace a back window of an existing cap. Immediately we were told, cap is old they don’t make the parts anymore, sighing and reacting, he the quoted us the cheapest cap they sell.
#1 we didn’t ask for a price for a new cap
#2 from our previous cap, we probably wouldn’t be purchasing the cheapest cap.
#3 customer service means listening to the customer.
#4 we won’t be purchasing anything from this place.

We've had two truck caps leak. They shorted the gasket on both of the caps that they installed. I pointed this out to them and they simply denied it. I'm very disappointed and I've known these people a long time. I won't be taking any other truck there. Very dissatisfied with leer caps and truck outfitters

Worst service I ever had in my life. They did couple of scratches on my 2024 Super Duty truck. For them it is not a big deal,for me YES. Truck is over $100K. One of the workers tried to fight with me. Now I understand why they have such a low rating. Definitely will not recommend that company.

Had tunnel cover installed years ago. Not long ago I hadn't issued.
They took care of that. I appreciate.
Now I had another problem with my tunnel cover.
The big guy with all the tattoos there..
Stated they did not install that part of a tunnel cover.
I said I begged the difference.
He got very upset with me.
I said I'm not coming here anymore.
He said we don't want to hear Anymore.
As I was in my vehicle and he was walking back into the store. He rubbed his eyes at me. Like I was a whining baby.
I think the child was the person. Rubbing their eyes to make a customer feel bad. Because he didn't know what he was talking about..

I recently had aftermarket accessories installed on my truck with this company. They did a terrible job on installation and customer service. I will start to mention the installation part first they welded the dual exhaust hangers incorrectly very poor installation i took it to a dealer and spent $274.00 just because i didn't want them to touch my truck again. Also had an airbag kit installed that too, was installed very poorly. Everything was over torqued. There was damage on bag brackets
And when I addressed the situation, I got nothing but attitude from a big dumb bald idiot that was verbally abusing the receptionist as I'm in the showroom very lazy and incompetent. People are in this location. Do not spend your money here. I am not one to try to bash a mom and pop little location but these guys need to close the doors. They do no service to anybody if they touch their vehicles, given the benefit of the doubt I figured I would order more things and I talked to the sales manager to give me a call and quote on some of the other things that they have on the show floor they do have a good selection, they just don’t know how to put them on anyway I asked for about $4000 worth of stuff. I never got a callback very lazy and incompetent. I will definitely use word-of-mouth to keep people from spending their hard earned money on subpar labor and customer service. This crew is not worthy for the Washington County consumer.

Fairly decent showroom to give you sum ideas to add to your truck/jeep. Installations are down in there bays just across the parking lot. Truck Outfitters also offers a great easy website to look at as well.

Above and Beyond service! If you need any work done for your truck these are the guys to send it to. I needed an airlift suspension system installed on my truck before I left on a trip across the country in 4 days(poor planning on my part) and called Truck Outfitters who not only rush ordered needed parts but their mechanic stayed late and even came in on the weekend to get it done for me. The owner even stayed late for me to come pick it up. The work itself was done better than I could have ever hoped and looks factory. Everyone there is knowledgeable and willing to do everything in their power to help you out. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll never take one of my trucks anywhere else.

Staff was helpful and quickly set me up with a service part that allowed me to get my roof top cargo box back on the road.

My son took his brand new 2022 Ford F-250 there for a bed liner and cover. Ever since they had it the tailgate didn’t open or close properly. And now it rubs in the bumper and leaving scratch indents on the tail gate. When he stopped to ask them what happened they said it was like that. Nope sorry I could open the tailgate prior to you having it now I can’t. Plus it didn’t rub. You can see the cover and bed liner not installed properly since the tailgate. didn’t sit properly now. They refuse to fix or stand behind their product. What happened to quality of work and ethics. I would post pictures but it wouldn’t let me

First time having a cap installed so I called around. It's amazing how businesses talk to you on the phone. It's like they dont want your business.
I reluctantly called Truck Outfitters because they were 50 minutes away but I'm so glad I did. They were friendly on the phone and took their time with me when I went in with my truck. I dealt with mostly the owner and he was great. My truck cap looks awesome!

Very disappointed with not only the services provided, but the owner himself. Brought my truck in to have a cap installed and they screwed up the wiring to my rear sensors. When talking with the sales rep he said this happens sometimes when they tap into new trucks and that if it doesn’t correct itself, I’ll have to bring it back in. So I brought it back in and they informed me they can’t fix it and I will need to take it to a ford dealer. Next, the owner instructs me not to tell Ford I had the cap installed because my truck is newer and should be covered under warranty. It was not covered under warranty and I had to pay out of pocket. It’s been over a month since truck outfitters has worked on my vehicle and they have done nothing to repay me for the repairs and have not been working with me to come to a solution. If I could give them zero stars I would. I will be telling everyone to stay away from them.

Took my 2018 Ford F-150 in to have a bedrail installed. Several weeks later the screws fell down into the sheet metal of the bed. I asked them to re-attach the rail. Owner said they could but would charge me labor. I said that wasn't right because the screws hadn't been torqued properly in the first place. Owner said they were, and it is normal for the truck vibration to loosen them. If that were even remotely possible, why wouldn't they apply locktite to the threads?

Anyway paid to have the rail re-attached. Yesterday the rail came completely apart. Screws again fell down into the bed side. Going to take it to Schmit Bros. Ford in Saukville where I should have gone in the first place.

Had Rear Axle Airbags installed on my GMC truck. Other than the long lead time to get in for the installation, everything else went well. Friendly gentlemen help set me up and also installation seems good so far, no issues yet. Hoping it will stay this way.

Scheduled original appointment and dropped my truck off to get cab lights installed only for them to call back and say that they forgot to order a part. I had to reschedule 2 weeks later. When I finally got the work done the cab lights were installed off center by a whole inch! The sealer they used for a gasket was a mess and all over my roof and the lights themselves, I won't be surprised if the cab leaks when it rains. Sloppy work, will not be going back for them to even fix it because I don't trust them. Impossible to find good help these days. Avoid.

Had a leer cap installed Nov. of 2019 , first rain in spring of 2020 it proceeded to leak badly , when I called to ask them to correct problem they to me it rained a lot .they tried to figure it out but still leaks ever time it rains - will fix myself - never again will do business with them terrible service

Showroom was nice and sales staff were nice . Once the cap arrived and was installed it had the wrong windows so I had them remove it . At this point the wiring had been done and ends up I see a long wire hanging under my left taillight , I removed the tail light to find that no wires were not soldered and connected well , no wire loom to even protect the wires . I took pictures and told the owner but ended up rewiring everything myself correctly . Very disappointed in the quality of there service dept. So , I get the call about 4 weeks later my new cap has arrived and go in to have it installed and still have a complaint about some fitment issues with the tail piece {rear door} . It's been two weeks with no response from him and during that time a piece of trim has already come loose from the window , wiring inside going to the pop and lock a 4 year old could have done better . They have some quality products but should fire the service department .

After the first install appointment for my cap I noticed my cap was on extremely crooked. I could fit my hand between the cap and the side of the truck. I also ordered a total bed seal which was supposed to be installed and wasn’t. And the light switch they added for an LED light strip wasn’t working properly. And the carpet liner in the cap was ripped. I turned around and went back within a half hour.

When I went back for them to finish installing everything and fixing everything I was told they were busy and I would have to make another appointment.

I went back for my second appointment and they straightened the cap, glued the carpet back together, put in a new switch, and put in the total bed seal.

After another day I noticed the light would flicker when I hit the switch. All 3 of the wires were not crimped in the terminals properly and pulled out.

They of course wanted me to make another appointment so I just fixed it myself.

I will never go there again.

Bought a LEER TRUCK CAP, Disappointed- Rear cap door leaks water to the inside when you open it. It is on a 2018 FORD F150, I've read other reviews with the same issue. Went back to Truck Outfitters to discuss this problem with a sales staff, was told to remove lower cap panel below window and add silicone sealant. To me that wasn't much for customer service, or product support!! Never offered to take a look at it.

Great locally owned and operated truck accessory shop! I decided to replace my fiberglass tonneau cover with a roof height truck cap. I worked with Jeremiah, and he explained to me some of the differences between the brands they carried, and gave me prices on the ones that interested me. I chose a Century Royal cap with a few extra options. I ordered it and it actually came in a few days before it was expected to arrive. The communication was excellent and it was very easy to schedule an installation appointment. They even went out of their way to help me out with my old fiberglass tonneau cover since I had no way to remove it by myself before the new cap installation date. The guys at Truck Outfitters were a pleasure to work with, and I would highly suggest them to anyone looking for truck accessories.

My husband had a cap installed on our f150 and first the wrong type of window was installed, so we had to take it back to get the right one put in, then had to take it back again cause the cap was leaking obviously they didnt test it cause it still leaks, so we will be taking it back again. This is a joke for how much money this cap was.

Very nice staff and I do like the Leer product. I'm now looking to purchase my second cap from them. The only complaint I have are the business hours, they are open till 6:00pm Mon-Thur and 5:00pm on Friday and CLOSED on Saturday. I really wish they had Sat hours. I think you can make an appt for Saturday but it would be nice to just be able to stop in and look around
