If there was a 0 star rating that's what I would give. I had several bad experiences with the hospitalists there. They were pushy, rude and didn't listen when it came to caring for my disabled brother. I had him at another hospital in between and had no issues. This hospital pushed hospice and there were unethical things that happened. I DONT recommend!!

I went in for an injury to my left foot, ankle. I had good service all the way through; although about 1.50 hrs. later I actually had to ask for ice packs and Tylenol! I was quite surprised by that.

Having to go to the ER the doctor there was not very informative about my issue. Did not treat the issue I was having even after getting a phone call from the nurse from my doctor at the UW.
The x-ray technician I had that night was very polite and listened to what I was saying about the issue I was having.
I returned a few days later for a cat scan and the technician I had was very polite and and explained everything that was going on.
I would not recommend going to the ER but x-ray was a good experience.

Walstreet owned hospital. Global hedge fund bought it and sendss almost all the profits.back to walstreet instead of keeping in community. Hospitalist Dr told my 93 year old dad he did not have time to deal with him and he should be a DNR. All he had was low blood pressure. Don’t go there. Horrible service.

Went to ER via ambulance with stroke symptoms. Immediate and attentive care. Transferred via air to SSM hospital in Madison very quickly. Highly recommend

I had an MRI on my back and the cost was 4 times the cost. I called and asked them to explain why it was over $4,000.00 and I was told she only takes payments. I then asked if I could talk to a supervisor and she told me the best she could do is take like $30 off the bill. But I had to pay at the same day. She said there’s nothing they can do about the bill that is just what their fees are. I would not recommend anybody going to Watertown for an MRI. Go to Waukesha and you can get it for about $1000. Very very disappointing.
And then when I needed my MRI results to be faxed to a physical therapist, they couldn’t get that right either

OB/GYN staff in general friendly but not a good choice for perimenopause care. Symptoms dismissed quickly because I was not having hot flashes and still having periods. They did a Pap smear and then after told me "oops" you had one last year so we will just just toss that one (never mind me spotting then all day or the fact that they would have known that if they read my chart)

I recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Susie Drake. As most of us would be, I was apprehensive. Many of you may know that you are awake for this surgery. You also are not supposed to move. Thanks to some good meds, and the skills of Dr. Drake, it was a success. WRMC was also very attentive and overall this was a great experience, as good as any surgery can be.

I have had two recent experiences with WRMC, one for an ankle x-ray and the second for a heart calcium test. Both times, the registration process was seamless and the wait time was minimal. The staff was friendly and explained what was happening through out the process. I was particularly impressed with patience of the person who was training a new person at the registration station.

The mammogram and bone density technician, Betsy, was very friendly and explained exactly what was happening and what I needed to do. I felt very relaxed.

Each time I've had to visit Watertown Regional, the staff always treated me with respect and even some humor. The doctor who treated me is top notch in my book.

I had 3 terrible experiences this year alone.

1 - Chest CT Scanned ordered December 7th, 2024, by my pulmonary Dr. Hospital called to schedule the CT scan and that was in February 2025. Two months after it was ordered and after I had already been in ER in January in which they found a Pulmonary Embolism in my lung. No appointment should take 2 months too schedule.

2 - Went to ER late in January due to me thinking I had a blood clot in my right leg. ER nurse was rude to say it nicely, felt my leg said I had no blood clot and more or less that I didn't know what I was talking about and that I should take Pain Medication if my leg was hurting. Ultrasound proved I had a blood clot in that leg and the CT scan of my chest the next morning provided the information of the one in my lungs. Nurse changed her tune after that but if you are not there caring about the patient and think you can always feel a blood clot, maybe you should consider a different career path as you are there to help those in need!!

3 - March 2025, I needed labs done for my oncologist. Scheduler was rude with me on the phone stating it could take hours or even that day late in the day for them to get it scheduled even though my oncologist had that it needed to be done STAT due to me now also having a blood condition (DIC) being caused by my cancer. I told her to call me when it was schedule. It is toda,y 2 weeks later with no call. I made the decision that day and every day since then to drive 50 minutes now to UW Health Madison every Tuesday and Friday for labs as I no longer trust using Watertown Regional Medical Center. (PS I live in Watertown)

I WILL NO LONGER USE THIS HOSPITAL DUE TO THE ABOVE EXPERIENCES. I PLAN ON ALSO WRITING A LETTER TO THE HOSPITAL AS THIS IS REDICULOUS AND VERY POOR PRATICES TO ALLOW EMPLOYEES TO TREAT PATIENTS LIKE THEY DON'T MATTER!!

Had knee replacement. They did not have enough ice for the patients. They say the freezer wasn't big enough. I suffered from a burning incision because there wasn't enough ice. Couldn't wait to get home the next day so I could put a decent ice pack on my knee. RIDICULOUS!!!!

Great hospital, great doctors and nurses, great staff, and great food & stay accommodation for a hospital. What more can I say. Nothing like I remember Watertown Hospital 20 + years ago.

A great experience until upon leaving the Emergency room the woman at check in could not have been more rude! The instymed machine was jammed and charged us. We asked for help or for her to call someone per the instymed man on the line and she REFUSED! She was on shift at midnight on 3/2-3/3. Definitely not the face you want for your hospital greeting patients!

I had checkup with Dr. Raz for 3 months after knee surgery. I cannot say enough as how I think he is fantastic. Surgery went very well and I am in no pain whatsoever. I am telling anyone that needs needs "attention" to their knees to go to him.

At mammogram appointment today, notified by tech that the films are no longer read during the appointment. I have previously left my appointments knowing right away that there wasn't anything that looked concerning. This was a nice service that made WRMC stand out from others. Today I was told to either wait for a phone call or letter to arrive in the mail.

I had a knee replaced October 2024 with Dr.Rajit Chakravarty doing the surgery. The whole team that worked with me were excellent. They only cared for comfort. They were there to help me every step of the way including therapy at Watertown and Juneau clinics. All questions and concerns were answered promptly. Hats off to therapist Deanna at Juneau clinic.

The staff was great, but very understaffed nurses and doctors should not have to wheel you to your car when you leave. Equipment is very old barely fit in CAT scan machine, the bed Squeak horrible ventilation you can’t breathe you cough and they tell you we have spray for you if you cough too much dusty in the rooms on walls framework not the cleanest they do not stick the money in to staff work more employees or newer equipment or remodeling it is profited What was my first time there Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital is number one hospital in the area your medical bills don’t just go to the nurses it goes for help there and remodeling for better care and excellent ventilation in Fort Atkinson

I had an acute situation that needed a provider visit ASAP, not emergent but definitely urgent. I called my primary provider's office, Watertown Family Practice and was able to get in to see one of their new NPs. Little did I know Sarah, was the NP training with my doctor at the clinic the previous year. She was very empathetic, kind, and listened to me. She prescribed a medication and explained everything. Thank you Sarah and Watertown Family Practice! I'm feeling so much better now!

I could not be more satisfied with Dr. Chakravarty and the entire staff who were involved with my hip replacement five weeks ago. From check-in to the delicious breakfast next morning, the whole experience exceeded my expectations.

After having to switch providers because Matthew Mathai is a vindictive overprescriber. I've had a much healthier experience in the pulmonology clinic. However, the 2 weeks of the month that my provider is not there, because it's a satellite clinic, I have to contend with my medications not being refilled, nesscitating yet another call to poor Katie in admin. (Nice lady, tho.)
This is something that should never have happened, but is still be allowed to by Watertown regional. As they have yet to terminate a loose cannon that over prescribed sleep meds and then got pissed when he got called on it six months later by another provider. Thank god for whomever that doc was, because I followed the directions on the bottle. I never realized I needed to double check before that. I spent six moths exhausted because of his incompetence, and the fact I was prescribed over the recommend highest dosage of sleeping meditation.
More than a year later he's still taking it out on me. WTAF is that? Just gross behavior.

Making an appointment was easy; check in staff were very friendly. X-Ray technician was wonderful and made the experience comfortable. I especially appreciated getting the results back before I left the Women's Center.

Technician was great, receptionist at desk was great. Immediately upon entering the hospital, my presence was announced for the entire dinning area and waiting area by Andrea from dietary, as she yelled at me as I went to my appointment. I have canceled appointments since I am in fear of more harassment from this place and person.

I have had great results from each visit. My PCP and the specialist for my issues have been excellent. From evaluation, tests and treatments have all been great. I feel comfortable with them all. I'm very satisfied with the service I've received at every visit.

I would like to give kudos to the Cardiac Rehab/Wellness Clinic. The staff is great and very helpful.
UW cardiology was impressed that I brought in a printout of my blood pressures,etc at my last appointment. Not many places do that!
I would also add to the above to say what a great team you have in the cardiac rehab program. They all go out of their way to answer questions and to help those that need the extra help.
I would highly recommend them as a place to do your cardiac rehab.

I went for my yearly Medicare visit on March 6, 2025. I saw June Suwanabol, PA on visit. I was impressed on her friendliness, her thorough exam & explaining my lab results, as well as patience in answering any questions I had. Very pleased with the visit.

Went to Watertown Regional for my every 10 year colonoscopy, I had my first one done there also. Sharron at there registration desk was delightful and set the bar high for the medical staff. The nursing staff did not disappoint, their were friendly, professional and explained the steps of the pre and post procedure care. The doctor that performed the procedure talked with me (not at me)before and after the procedure. The anesthesiologist spoke with me in the room before the procedure and again in the procedure room right before putting me to sleep. He was professional and his humor put me at ease; we also connected because he and my wife Army retirees and I am a veteran. Everyone was kind to my wife that accompanied me to the appointment and waited to drive me home afterwards. I recommend that everyone complete an approved method of colon screening and if in the Watertown WI area Watertown Regional Medical Center staff have a great team.

Testimonial: Yesterday morning (Sept. 20, 2022) my wife and I had to rush our daughter to the WRMC emergency center for a sudden and serious abdominal condition. We want to thank the reception staff, Dr. Robinson and team, Dr. Codner and team, plus the ward nurses for their prompt and excellent service. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful to us during this traumatic personal event. We greatly appreciate the first-rate assistance in every aspect that we received from all concerned!

TWO YEARS LATER (December 10, 2024): This morning we had to rush our daughter again to the WRMC emergency center for a recurrence of the previous condition. Once more, prompt action by the Emergency Dept. made it possible for another surgery to be quickly performed, this time more extensive in nature. Many thanks to Dr. Fleming and his team for their excellent, life-saving operation! We also experienced great service by the rehab nursing staff on second floor during a more extended stay. Another 5-start performance by all involved!!
