It’s always refreshing to find a local company that you can trust to do not only great work, but at a great price. I was originally going to just get my flashing replaced between the main structure and the addition but was also given a quote so reasonable for whole roof replacement, that we went ahead and got it all done! George and Brian were wonderful to work with. They treat you like you’re their only customer even though I know they have a ton of business. Excellent communication and service. The work they did looks phenomenal and their crew did an equally good job at cleaning up afterwards. It’s nice to see a company actually care the quality of the materials they use and the quality of work that they do instead of just a rush job(even though they made great timing- getting it done in a day!) Before you sign with one of the big name companies, give these gentlemen an opportunity to earn your business. I guarantee you’ll be glad you did.

After developing a leak, we had to get a full roof replacement. Called Madden and they even showed up on the weekend to inspect the property. They were very quick getting back to us with an estimate, and even completed the job in one day on Memorial Day. Highly recommend!

First and foremost they were prompt with responding even with local power outages. George and Brian are very down to earth and will fight with insurance agencies as needed. Communication was great(text,email,calls) as we all are busy working etc. They escalated us up the listing due to an active leak.
They outlined the overall installation process and included pictures as the crew was working. Speaking of the crew, hard working kept the clutter to a minimum and did a thorough job cleaning up afterwards. Side note they use bin there dump that for dumpster services who take care of your driveway.
We're also looking at getting interior damage repaired and is great they are also contracted in those services. If you're interested in supporting the smaller business, family owned, non subcontracting company this is the company for you.

Madden Brothers did a great job. I own a few properties in Braddock and it’s hard to find good help. A lot of vendors don’t even reply to an inquiry let alone show up professionally. Madden Brothers was very responsive, showed up immediately to assess our issues, give me a detailed breakdown of exactly what needed to be done, offered me fair pricing, and completed the work by sending me pictures and videos. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again.

Some of my shingles blew off during a storm. I contacted Madden Brothers Roofing and they showed up same day to take a look. A few days later they were able to give me a quote and come out for repair. They did a great job, and I did not need to take off of work to be home, which was a great plus. Super nice family business, fast scheduling, good work, very experienced, proactive communication, respectful of the house, relaxed process, AND the best price by far. We got quotes from about 5 roofing companies before choosing. The other companies were either twice as expensive as Madden, or make you deal with their salespeople who are totally removed from the project and were difficult to reach, or tell you there's a lifetime warranty but then give you a contract that absolve them of all responsibility for bad work in the fine print. With Madden, you're communicating directly with the owners of the company and there's none of that nonsense. Our (very small) roof was done in one day, easy peasy.

Madden Brothers did an amazing job on our roof. They were courteous and beyond efficient. They were thoughtful of debris, even tarping off a vehicle in our driveway and the cleanup was exceptional, like they were never on our property. The job was done in an expedient time frame, even sooner than we expected and for our large roof, completed in about 9 hours. It looks amazing and we have already referred more friends and family! We would have gladly given a 10 star rating! They were awesome!

I have dealt with many contractors over the years and Madden Brothers Roofing was truly the best!! My mother-in-law had siding blow off her house, and I was having difficulty finding a reputable company who would help without price gouging. George was so awesome!! Cannot recommend Madden Brothers enough. Their pricing is fair and unlike big box companies, I knew I was working with a small business that cared for their customers. They explained everything thoroughly including shingles, the colors and the process they have for replacing our roof. The owner was so kind and communicative as the roof was being done, providing updates and letting me know what was going on. George and Brian came to our home on a Sunday for a free estimate to help us determine what we needed to solve some water issues we were having. They correctly assessed a problem with our gutters. Because they were so honest and their prices so reasonable, we decided to not just replace the gutters, but also to replace our aging roof, fascia, and soffit.

Both George and Brian were available for discussion continuously as we discussed the details of the job, choosing our materials. They used their experience to guide us in making the right decisions.

Just wanted to update my review as I just had the entire roof of my home replaced by Madden Brothers Roofing. Their workers did a great job, completed, and cleaned up,all in 1 day.
The Madden Bothers worked diligently, and successfully, with my insurance company to get some insurance reimbursement for hail damage found on the old roof.
Their pricing is reasonable and fair. I highly recommend this company for any roof issues.

Had roof repairs by Madden Brothers Roofing for a leak that previous contractor did not fix even though it was under warranty . This was done in 2024 .
My sister had used Madden Brothers and recommended them to me. I was not disappointed. George and Brian responded to my call and evaluated my roof quickly. They went above and beyond to repair the damage for a fair price even after additional damage was found after the shingles were removed.

One of the most professional contractors we have ever hired over the 30 years my wife and I have been together. First when our insurance company were giving us hassles, they were the only company who continues to work with us when the others stopped responding. They showed up when they said they would and stayed from sun up to sun down getting the job done. When they ran in to problems caused by the previous home owner and or previous contractor they repaired it for no additional cost. They cleaned up everything as if they were never there except we have a new roof. Thank you George and Brian Madden, highly recommend, oh and they were much cheaper than everyone else as well.

I had a pretty big hole in my roof that they came and fixed the job was professionally done they came on time they got the job done in a timely manner they cleaned up after themselves and best of all my roof was fixed and looking good again so thanks again Madden Brothers Roofing.

I had a chronic leak in my roof that madden roofing repaired. They literally had to rebuild the pitch on my front roof because of another roofers shoddy work. They were wonderful. Kept me informed. Did exactly what they said they would do. Came right on time and worked straight through until the roof was done. It looks great. They had to work the new area into the old and took such care to make sure the shingles matched. They were so neat and cleaned up. Neighbors commented on the work they did. I cannot say enough about their work and service.

I bought a home and needed a new roof immediately due to an active leak during the rainy season. George was able to work with me and to get the roof replaced immediately, despite their busy schedule. Not only that, he was able to give me some tips and guidance on some other general home repair work I was in process of gettting done that helped me streamline things on my end.

A few weeks later, I decided to get some chimney repair work done (crown/cap, etc) and again George was able to generate a competive quotation and get the work done quickly. He also shared photos of the roofing work as well as the chimney repair which I appreciated very much.

When a tornado hit our area last month part of our tree fell on the roof of our house. The tree removal company came pretty soon and later on (early evening) I urgently looked for a roofer to patch the roof being a new storm was coming the next day. Called for a service they typically do not do for a new customer (me). They fast tracked what I need to have done and did an excellent job. They kept in-touch with me the entire time. Polite and courteous. Highly recommend. Edited: Had a second job (gutter guards) done by the team of Doug, Jack, and Cody. Once again they went above and beyond, fixing a hole in an underground pipe that the downspouts feed into. They usually don't do underground work, but they fixed it and added an extra downspout to solve an overflow problem I was having. Knowledgable, courteous and cleaned everything up. Their boss, George kept in touch with me the whole time. Again, highly recommend.

We recently moved to Pittsburgh from Florida. We knew the home we were buying was a flip, so when our home inspector identified multiple issues with the roof the seller had installed, we contacted Madden Brothers to get a better idea of what was going on. George got us assessments and estimates quickly - I appreciate that he offered options for repairs or a full replacement. We were impressed with the thoroughness - estimate included not only the materials and labor, but also identified some very specific measures to protect/respect the rest of the property, such as methods to keep debris out of gutters, etc. And the prices were excellent.

We opted for a total roof replacement for the peace of mind. George does a wonderful job of keeping an eye on the weather and staying in touch throughout the process. The crew arrived early (6:45am), waited out morning rain, and got to work as soon as it was clear enough to be safe. They took pictures of every part of the process, which George texted to me so that we could see the quality of the work for ourselves. By 2:30pm, we had a new roof and a clean yard. The foreman, Adrian, pointed out all the features and answered all my questions when they were finished. We're feeling much better about facing our first Pittsburgh rainy season, and the roof looks fantastic.

I had water spilling overtop of my gutter in the back of my house. I called Madden Brothers Roofing about my problem. They sent someone out to take a look at what might be causing the problem. They soon discovered it was clogged with debris and fireworks. The guys that came out were very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. They did a superb job and the problem was fixed. It was a pleasure talking with George about what we wanted done. He was verry patiant and took great care to be sure he understood exactully what we wanted done and to explain the prosess to me. He always got right back to me when I texted any questions or concerns.

This company is the best. You may think you're going to get inferior products, I assure you it's the same products another company was going to charge me for $4000.00 more for. Owens Corning. 25 year dimensional shingles and the new underlayment. They're labor is warranted for the life of the shingles and even if it's not a labor issue they'll work with you to fix the problem.

You'll love George and Brian Madden, friendliest and nicest contractors I have ever dealt with. They'll answer any questions and concerns you have if not right then, promptly.

Their crew is serious. They arrived at 6:50am and went straight to work. No standing around for 30 minutes smoking and drinking coffee. I only seen two take a 15 minute breather, but I think they were the ones carrying the shingles up the ladder because I never heard the nail guns stop. 1:20pm they had 1200 sqft of roofing done, yard cleaned up and gone.

They fit me in immediately after I closed on my house and their team was in and out within a day and cleaned up and left my yard more clean then when they showed up. Absolute professionals. It was a smooth and easy process as the Madden Brothers are constantly communicating with you by text and email about everything. The workers showed up on the nose, 7am and I had a new roof by noon! And it looks incredible. I went with the Williamsburg Gray. Thank you!

Madden Brothers Roofing was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. They offered the lowest price for a new roof. Once I reached out to them, I was contacted by the end of that day by George. I received a quote within a few days. George came out a few days later and explained everything to me . He spent the time with me and didn’t rush. He and his crew were prompt at 7am and worked past 7pm to finish the job. They did excellent work, offered quality shingles and were very friendly. During the process of removing my shingles , rotten wood was found and George communicated with me and updated me to let me know what they would do to fix it. The owners are up front and easy to get a hold of and talk too. They listen to you and explain things so that you can understand them. Good people and I would recommend their services with confidence and satisfaction!
