The contractor I hired and paid to replace the subfloor, tile, and toilet in my master bath completely bungled the job and it needed to be re-done. CJ came in and gave me a reasonable estimate. He and his team were professional, courteous, and did a great job on my bathroom. I will definitely be hiring them to do some more work around my home.

We give ThornWorks 4.5 stars (I'm a tough grader) for upgrading two bathrooms including installing a new shower stall, a water- and air-jetted tub, new floor and wall tile, new sinks and countertops, a window and new ceiling lights/fans. The ThornWorks employees and most of their contractors (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, installers, etc.) did excellent work that was reliable (showed up on time; timely responses to our messages) with high quality work in the promised timelines. They went above and beyond the minimum work required; they made our lives easier (if you've ever done home remodeling you know how stressful it can be) and they made suggestions that resulted in better outcomes than we had originally planned. Because of their excellent performance, we then hired them to paint the house interior and lay new carpet. We'll be using them in the future and strongly recommend them.

Excellent home and lawn care company! All your needs from cleanups in the fall and spring, to your winter remodels. Their customer service and communication skills are highly praised.

I’ve watched these guys mow some lawns and do other construction work, and what I’ve seen is that they care. They make every house look special. They are very cautious in and outside of your home, and they do amazing work, very nice, helpful and, easy going employees. great company.

Unable to edit my current review, I'm making a new one to tell of the completion of the large remodel we had done by Thornworks. I wouldn't hesitate to use the company again, with CJ as project manager and having Miguel, Jr, Levi, Dante, Maria and others from the company do their excellent work. A couple subcontractors were not the most helpful or considerate, but CJ did the best he could to extract from them what was needed in our build. There were a few errors made, which were corrected to our satisfaction right away. A few minor projects I needed done were no problem to add to the docket and helped me tremendously with getting my home back together. I'm 100% grateful we chose Thornworks for our extensive, expensive remodel and would use them again in a heartbeat! We highly recommend Thornworks.

Thornworks was great! Very easy to work with. CJ made things very easy and kept us updated throughout the process. We had all new floors, doors and trim installed. Also had whole kitchen remodeled, a couple windows replaced and can lighting installed. Overall CJ and his team did a great job. Would use them in the future and recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their home.

I can't say enough good things about ThornWorks. We have used them for years for weekly mowing service, shrub trimming and special landscaping projects and have been very pleased. They have a great team of friendly workers and office staff. Any concerns have kindly received and quickly responded to.

They did our fall clean-up yesterday even though our weather has been so wet. They put in all the extra effort to get wet leaves out of the corners and off of the lawn. It looks great!!

I have a big restoration/remodeling job needed at my house and wanted things just right. After getting quotes from multiple contractors, I decided to choose Thornworks. CJ came out and was able to give us a through, comprehensive bid under budget and with far higher quality materials than I originally considered. So far, the workers on every facet of the job have been thoughtful and considerate of my requests- even if they are non-standard- and I feel heard as the work moves forward. Everyone has gone above and beyond with their workmanship, household consideration and attitudes. I've served as my own general contactor and hired other contractors to build houses in the past and this experience with Thornworks has been, by far, the best build experience. I'll update my review as the build continues but I would not hesitate to recommend Thornworks for any construction work.

Edit- We are deep into the renovation and I'm very pleased with the big stuff. The carpentry and painting is truely excellent! Some of the sub contactor work is less than expectation but thankfully, the project manager agrees and it's going to be redone. As usual in construction, projects may take longer than anticipated but we are still in the timeline given. I'll continue to update. Thornworks has an amazing ability to switch priorities on the fly, almost instantly replacing and upgrading our ancient waterheater when it died mid project. CJ is great!

ThornWorks did a great job on our kitchen remodel (all new cabinets, countertops, etc.) and other construction items, including painting, LVP flooring, carpet, doors and trim. ThornWorks crew was professional and friendly, and was able to help us meet our deadline. We definitely plan on using ThornWorks again for our addition onto the back of our house when the time comes (can't wait to remodel our master bathroom!).

Thornworks restored the interior of my house after severe damage occurred. It was a 10 month journey, mostly due to the insurance process, which the team navigated with patience and professionalism. Jeff did a great job working on estimates and bids for insurance, while CJ adeptly oversaw the complexities of the restoration. My communication with Sam and Travis in the office were positive and punctual. I have a beautiful home now thanks to Thornworks.

I had a real mixed experience with the landscaping side of ThornWorks. Some of the work they did was fine while some didn't make sense. We tasked them to fix our dying lawn which had dirt patches and dead grass. We are new to lawncare and mentioned this to them that we were relying on their judgement. They did tasks like seeding our lawn which fill in parts. However, 20% or more did not grow much grass, either growing weeds or remaining dead patches. They told us that they the ground should have been dethatched before seeding (which they never offered to do) and that they should add weed killer when seeding (another landscaper was baffled by this). We additionally paid that landscaper to aerate, seed, and apply weed killer after them which has greatly improved parts of the lawn. Also, for each task they did, the work would only be 85% complete or have some obvious issues so we had to keep calling them to come back over to finish fix their work. I will say that they were cheaper than other lanscapers we met with but it was a mixed experience overall.

Worked with CJ for the most part. Got to know several of their folks throughout the renovation process. Super good company to work with! Very honest and up front. We had them add a half bath to the bonus room, mini-split, and some exterior landscaping. Workmanship was top notch and while renovations are never easy - these guys mastered every obstacle. Already looking to have them build a stationary shed for the backyard.

Travis is a great person, hard working and extremely knowledgeable and it shows in the way he manages his crew and the projects they work on!

Our house desperately needed repainting and some work on the exterior corners. ThornWorks did a great job, very professional, had someone out quickly to perform the estimate, got the job started in just a few days and finished quickly. The final price was exactly as estimated up front. Very pleased!
