Lamar was very professional to deal with. He arranged for his maintenance team to come out and make the necessary repairs quickly. The repair team showed up at the time arranged with Lamar. Jose and Daniel completed the repairs and did a great job! Lamar reached out after to make sure the repairs and experience was satisfactory.

The contractor Brad was awesome. He went above and beyond our expectations. He explained what could and couldn't be done. Also what was cost effective. Looking forward to using him on another project.

I am so pleased with my bathroom renovation! We had a severe leak that flooded 2 bathrooms. Homestar was all over it. BLAKE was amazing to work with. He took all my concerns into consideration and delivered a beautiful result. Our tile guy ANTONIO did an incredible job with the install. Looking forward to working with them again!

My entire condominium was flooded. I called in a panic and they were at my home within 40 minutes of the event. They have continued to impress me throught the entire process. The remediation team did such a wonderful job that without question I am hiring them for the repairs. Chris was wonderful to work with. I have no idea how they have any good reviews. They won’t come back and fix the plumbing they installed. I have water that pours out of my ceiling and they cut holes to find the pipes (took them cutting 3 big holes ) and they blamed it on my septic tank so I had my septic pumped and the problem is STILL there. I can’t get hardly any responses but that’s unfortunately normal for them. I am very close to calling Better Business Bureau on them & local code enforcement because I have a feeling NOTHING was done right because of all the problems I’ve had. They rebuilt our house after a fire and it’s been nothing but one problem after another. Horrible with communication. Save yourself the hassle and do not hire this company. It’s rare for me to give bad reviews and I don’t mean anything I’m saying lightly. They are a horrible company

Terrific service from both Donald and Emery! We had a leak/flood in our basement and needed help ASAP. Although they were back logged helping clients from Storm Helene, Donald assisted and guided me over the phone for a couple of days before they could make a personal visit. Emery came to assess the situation and gave us great advice about how to move forward. Although we didn’t end up using their remediation or restoration services this time around, we will definitely call them in the future. They clearly know their business and have a great customer focus. Thank you, Donald and Emery!

10/10 for HomeStar!!! I was originally referred to a different company for reconstruction after a sewage issue in our basement/laundry room but decided to go with HomeStar after I read the reviews. They 1000% earned 5 stars!!! I should start by saying I have VERY high expectations and was fearing the worst as this was my first experience with home reconstruction. I truly felt like a valued customer the whole time and by the whole team. Joyce, Nicole and Bryan were so friendly and always willing to answer my questions about invoices and how it all works with insurance. Sean was my project manager & Cesar’s crew worked on our space. Sean was communicative, easy to reach, and very caring. He has a very calm demeanor and is very knowledgeable in his work. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, including working with me on when our washer/dryers would be disconnected and minimizing that time (we were potty training so this was truly life-changing lol). He alleviated a lot of the burden of having our house ripped up by working as quickly as possible. The crew was respectful, on time, didn’t leave messes (!), and SO detail-oriented in their work (look at those grout lines!!!). I couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole experience and am so thankful I went with HomeStar!!!

I was referred to The Homestar Group through my rental agency, Firstkeyhomes, because there was a leak coming from outside through the walls of my basement. Eduardo R came promptly at the scheduled time, he thoroughly examined the entire basement and zeroed in on where the problem spots were, checked for mold,and dried and is sealing the problemspot Monday after everything is ready. Working with HomeStar was so easy. Customer Service was a dream. The work was good and they worked with us on the price. Our insurance was being obstinate about any and all supplementals, so Homestar worked with us so we could afford the fix to our kitchen.

Our experience with the Homestar Group regarding the project was at first promising and seemed to be going as hoped. However, the comfort of knowing we were in good hands went by the wayside when at the 80% of project to the final walkthrough. I cant stress enough that you have to watch out for corners being cut at your expense of the budget with work not being done. Our case involved the PM and construction manager who did not perform detach and resets as you could clearly see behind the sinks and toilets that it was still the old color. Bucket list was nonexistent as the areas we chose to save money to use in upgrades was not recognized and applied. As we were told there was nit any real savings doing what we were told we could save. We went with one color for the entire house which was multiple rooms prior to damage and was included in estimate from insurance but did not honor that or other trade work that in precon meeting we were told could be applied to upgraded. This was dismissed upon multiple attempts to have addressed by both managers and upper management. Final walkthrough was done within days of packin delivery they scheduled. This made nearly impossible to inspect oversights and poor work quality. Pictures can be provided that speak for themselves.
