We had the best experience with Braswell. They offered the best customer service! Braswell makes having to get a new roof an extremely pleasant experience. This was the best part of our renovation.

We contacted Jody when we noticed a leak around our fireplace. We thought we would need a new roof, but he was able to save us money buy replacing/repairing the chimney cricket. He was always available to answer all of my questions and after he helped us, a few of our neighbors also used Braswell after we referred them from our experience.

I have had the pleasure of working with Chris Braswell and company for many years. They are of the highest qualify of people and roofers. Their work is top notch with an attention to detail. I recommend them to all.

The job was done timely. However a nail was placed in the copper line and shut my ac down. Brian went back and forth about whose fault it was. My homeowners insurance was willing to pay for it as accidental but Brian was adamant it could not have been their fault. My ac stopped working the next day after the roof was put on. The HVAC company confirmed it was a nail from the shingles. Sometimes it’s best to fix your mistake than for it to now be a process in the courts.. you would have saved money this way.

UPDATE---7/18/24-----THE REVIEW IS CORRECT. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WRITE A LONG DRAWN OUT EXCUSE FOR THE LACK OF OWNERSHIP THAT WAS TAKEN BY YOUR COMPANY. BRIAN DIRECTLY EFFECTED THIS SITUATION. HE INSISTED THAT IT WAS NOT THE FAULT OF THE COMPANY AND THE WORK COULD BE FIXED WITHOUT REMOVING A PART OF THE ROOF. THE UNIT WAS REPAIRED BUT BY AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE THAT INCORPORATED A NEW PIPING TO GO DOWN THE BACK OF MY HOME JUST TO COVER THE NEW COPPER WIRES PLACED THAT YOUR COMPANY PIERCED. SO NO I DID NOT WANT IT TO BE WORKED AROUND I WANTED THE MATTER TO BE RECTIFIED. EVEN WHEN BRIAN TEXT ME ON JULY 4 ASKING THAT I CALL YOU MONDAY. I TOLD HIM THEN, THAT THE HVAC COMPANY HAD COME TO COMPLETE THE WORK. WHAT DID BRIAN DO, IMMEDIATELY WENT INTO "I TOLD YOU THEY COULD FIX IT WITHOUT REMOVING A PART OF THE SHINGLED ROOF. THAT COMMENT RIGHT THERE IS THE VERY REASON I DID NOT CALL YOU BACK. SO DON'T GET ON HERE AS IF YOUR COMPANY AND EMPLOYEES DID ALL YOU COULD BECAUSE THAT IS NOT TRUE. ALLSTATE WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID FOR THE PART OF THE SHINGLES THAT NEEDED TO BE REMOVED AND REPLACED. BUT BECAUSE YOU AND YOUR TEAM WERE SO ADAMENT ABOUT IT NOT BEING YOU FAULT, YOU MISSED ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY FOR PAYMENT AND TO RECIEVE A POSITIVE REVIEW.
THE REVIEW REMAINS THE SAME.

The Braswell group has completed two projects on my house and as far as I am concerned they will be the only company to ever complete work in my house!

We had an unusual hail storm in the area and the insurance company was only willing to replace a small portion of my roof. I reached out to Braswell Construction for second opinion. Chris Gaugler made it to the house same day and provided me a thorough roof inspection and ultimately determined the entire roof was compromised. We had a new CeDUR roof installed on our house, in a neighborhood that has covenants for cedar shake roofs. Chris was professional and knowledgeable, and he helped me understand the advantages of using a quality synthetic product that is a better alternative to cedar shake. We had to work through HOA approval as well as the pandemic and Covid supply chain delays. He was helpful and responsive throughout. His crew completed the entire roof in one day. They worked incredibly hard and did a great clean up job. The roof looks fantastic, virtually indistinguishable from a real cedar roof. I wish every contractor, vendor, or service person were as professional and responsive as Chris and his crew.

Jody Gentle, at Braswell Construction Group, put on a new house and sunroom roof several years ago and I have had no signs of any leaks since then and I was very please with there workmanship including clean-up afterwards not stepping on, or finding, any nails or shingle parts in my shrubs or yard.

What was also important to me was that after the sale he also came by while they were doing the work to make sure it was done as we discussed which all to often is lacking by other companies.

Three years ago, I hired Braswell to put on a new roof. They were fast and efficient. My new roof looks great. A little over a week ago, I cam home from work to find a big water stain on my kitchen ceiling and water on the floor. It rained all day, so I thought it must be the roof. I contacted Braswell and they sent someone out to look at it at no charge. As it turns out, it was actually an HVAC problem. While I was working on getting that fixed, Jody contacted me to see if he could help with the drying process. He came out with equipment the same day and left it in place until everything was dry. He even came out on a weekend to pick up the equipment! Best of all, he gave me a great price on both the roof and the drying up. I highly recommend Braswell for either roofing or interior drying.

! Braswell Construction completed roofing, construction and painting work in my home for my State Farm water damage claim and did an exemplary job! I had a couple of estimates done by other companies that I eliminated immediately from consideration due to their lack of professionalism and unclear pricing. I called Brasewell Roofing two times and left messages, after the second message I finally received a call from a lady in the office she took my information and said someone would contact me shortly to schedule an appointment. That was 4 days ago and I have yet to receive a call back for someone to schedule an appointment with me, since then I have found another great roofing company locally that will be handling our roofing needs. ---- The owner contacted me and apologized for the misunderstanding and I really appreciated that.

Braswell Construction completed my neighbors roof one year ago and it still looks great! Therefore I contacted them and met with Jody who provided excellent customer service. Jody evaluated my home internally\externally for needed repairs. He reviewed insurance adjuster estimate with me to ensure funds were available for repairs. Jody discussed tile options, under padding before tiles were to be replaced. Discussed logistics of dumpster/materials to be delivered on 10/27/16 and work to begin on 10/28/2016. Jody estimated work to be completed in one day unless more damages were presented after the roof was taken off. Workers arrived on time, covered outside shrubs, any area that may have been affected by droppings. All work was completed as stated without complications. The work was completed in one day "YEAH". The clean up was excellent as if no work was ever done to my home, the work crew was polite and worked continuously except for lunch. Braswell went above and beyond my expectation, Jody was a excellent representation of Braswell, knowledge of the industry, genuinely concerned things were accurate and knowledgeable of products/materials used in the replacement of the roof. I'm very pleased with the results and I would recommend Braswell for your roofing and restoration needs.

Put out request for estimates from five companies for a new roof for my house, Jody came out and presented the brand of shingle I was looking for and his quote was right in the center of the range of prices. He explained the process and timeline, we made some adjustments to the quote and scope of work. Job started on time and finished the next day even with a small rain delay. I could not be happier with the roof, it increased the value of my home and improved the curb appeal.

His team did a first class repair job at a reasonable rate and completed the work exactly on the schedule we set. They went out of their way to locate shingles that matched the existing roof. These guys are awesome! I consider myself a smart shopper. I always get up to 5 quotes for any service. Braswell Construction stood out because of their knowledge. They educated me on what I needed, and let me choose between several options. The price was very fair and the work was excellent. Don’t look any further!

We had some issues with our existing 20+ year old roof after all the wet weather we've had recently. Included in our list of referrals, was Jody at Braswell. We had him come take a look and he was courteous, knowledgable and helpful in discussing all of our options. Jody's responsiveness over text and email was always on point throughout the process as well.

Being an old roof, we filed a claim with our insurance company and had an inspector come take a look. Jody participated in the inspection by getting up on the roof with the inspector to help find all the issues with the roof. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough damage for the insurance company to cover the roof but I appreciated his help with the process as I had not done it before.

We were presented with a choice on replacing the roof or fix the original issue out of pocket. We again got quotes from a few different companies for a total roof replacement and ended up going with Braswell because they were able to meet a quote received from another company along with the good rapport already established by Jody.

The result was a beautiful new roof with better quality shingles than we anticipated. There ended up being extra layers not seen in the inspection but Jody's crew was able to complete the job the same day. We were impressed with the clean up job as well as the courteousness of the roofing crew. The gutter crew was just as courteous and communicative with us on any issues they had to fix first to finish the job and after completion, did a good job sealing off gutters and working around awkward walls.
