Communications could be a little better but they are very prompt and get the job done quickly. They are very honest and don’t try to over sell you anything. I called standard roofing as I needed help with a gutter issue. After calling 5 different companies, SCott was the only one who got back to me. He was very professional, friendly and reasonable. He went above and beyond my expectations and all around a super nice guy. I would highly recommend him for any services he provides.

Poor customer service, and poor service. They stood me up twice to tarp my unit, when they do come to tarp my unit the tarp fell off and they never came back. I spoke with 1 of there workers and ask them how they were doing. They told me they left the roof expose overnight, then I told them my unit was leaking last night the guy got defensive and told me to get out. Horrible service!

Chimney flashing and sub-roof were replaced expertly by David & Hector. Incredible performance! I watched the entire repair which took 2 hrs. I can highly recommend this company. The cost was reasonable for the effort and need.

Jeff stopped by to take a look at my roof today. I was concerned over some spots that had accumulated on my ceiling in my foyer and den several months ago. He did a great roof inspection and found some rusty nails that may be causing the problem and caulked them. My roof is getting old and I know that I’m going to have to replace it within five years, maybe sooner.
We talked about replacing my gutters and also a chimney that looks like it might be having some problems. This is a person who knows his stuff and I trust him. He’s very knowledgeable and he is not pushing a new roof or anything else that might not be necessary. This is the kind of businessman that I want to do business with. I definitely will be calling Jeff to replace my roof when it is needed, what a great experience, I asked to pay him for the caulking today and he wouldn’t even consider it. These kind of people don’t exist anymore. Thank you Jeff.

I was so happy with the service I received from Standard Roofing & Restoration from making the appointment to today when Jeff promptly showed up for the appointment. For the repair work I needed done on our house’s fascia, I contacted a handful of local companies and Standard Roofing & Restoration was the only company willing to come out and look at what could be done. The scheduling was easy. I just took pictures with my phone and texted them into the phone number. Soon after that I was notified of the appointment date and time. Then today when Jeff arrived, he was so polite and positive. It was great! I had two concerns. He provided flexible solutions for my concerns. He was great to work with and look forward to working with Standard Roofing & Restoration again. Have already recommended them to my family and friends. Thank you again!

I came across Standard Roofing & Restoration during a search. I called into the office and everyone that I spoke to was kind and pleasant On the day of inspection, Jeff greeted me with a smile. He was honest in the service that he could provide. I was trying to marry old gutters with new. The finished product was seamless and I was very pleased. I would highly recommend their services and look forward to working with them in the future.

As a first time homebuyer, I used Standard Roofing (SR) at the recommendation of my realtor. I was hopeful that I would see them as a contractor I could look to & trust to do my roof replacement years down the road, but all I’ve come to see them as is a group I have to project manage to get anything done.

Timeline of events:
- 3/5: Jeff from SR Sales inspected the roof and recommended vented soffits along with mold remediation
- 3/12: A repair date was set for 4/15 with a 50% deposit and contract terms requiring 24 hours' notice before work.
- 4/14: No notice received of work beginning or being delayed. I called Jeff, who said the scheduler would call back.
- 4/15: Still no update by 10am. I called SR and was told I wasn't on the schedule. Later that day, Jeff clarified the schedule was for an estimate, not repairs. He arranged for the repair to occur on 4/16.
- 4/16: Work was done, but the vented soffits were not installed as agreed. No communication followed on if further work was going to take place or if the work was done. A pallet was also left in the yard.
- 5/27: SR sent a final invoice incorrectly stating work was complete. I pointed out that the work was incomplete, referencing the contract and photos that they'd taken. Jeff admitted he had forgotten the venting detail and promised to schedule the work the next day.
- 6/4: After no follow-up, I emailed again. Jeff offered 6/6 or 6/7 for completion. I chose 6/6.
- 6/6: No one showed up or contacted me.
- 6/7: Work unexpectedly began at 7:30 AM and was finished by 9 AM.

My thoughts on working with SR:
- I understand that sometimes timelines change. However, if timelines are changing, that should be communicated to a client proactively, especially if your contract includes a 24 hour notice. It should not be on the client to request updates when work is not delivered on the agreed upon schedule.
- I was shocked that nobody made sure the work on the final invoice was done. I only caught that something wasn’t because it was visually apparent & we talked about it at length during the inspection. Was the rest of the work completed as contractually specified? Who knows! I’m lucky enough to be able to inspect the work myself & notice the difference; there are many folks (the elderly or physically disabled) who may not be able to review themselves & would be stuck paying in full for incomplete work.
- This work was for mold remediation, & the SR warranty doesn’t cover any further mold after they do repairs. So, even if the delay in the venting work was a contributing factor to future mold growth, I would get to pay yet again for that work.

Overall, I would NOT recommend SR as someone who has been a client. The best kind of contractor is one who shows up on time, does the work as contracted, & communicates clearly & in a timely way any hiccups or changes along the way. SR is not that contractor. The only reason that I'm not leaving a 1 star review is because this work eventually did get done.

We contacted the office and received a call back within 24 hours. Jim, who came out to our home to fix our sliding patio door was excellent! Would Highly recommend him And this company!

Jim was excellent he responded to all my calls answered all my questions an concerns.
His workers were great did a excellent job on my gutters matched the color perfect to my siding.
They sealed my leaking problem between my roof to the awning.

Dan was punctual, friendly and professional. He saw the problem and explained it thoroughly. I feel confident that the job will be accomplished without any further problems.

Found out late October that we needed to have our roof replaced, and after several quotes, (a couple requests that weren’t even answered) we decided to go with Standard Roofing…The main reasons were their responsiveness, as the snow about to fly, and that their price was lower than the other quotes that we received…We got in touch with Jeff, and he was at our house the next evening…His confidence was reassuring, and once we made the down payment, they were working on it about 2 weeks later… A+ service…We think about it every time it rains!

I had a clogged gutter that I could not reach with my ladder. I called their number but didn’t leave a message. Within minutes I received a text from them and exchanged contact information. Jim from Standard Roofing called a few hours later. We swapped details about the gutter and he told me he could be at our house the next morning. Jim showed up as promised and had my gutter unclogged in minutes. Jim is great! I have no problems giving Jim and Standard Roofing 5 stars!

We had Standard Roofing do repairs after a full replacement by another company, who did sloppy work. Standard's work was of superior quality and completely resolved all of the issues. They told us exactly how they would fix everything and gave us complete confidence. They came out when they said they would, they finished the job when they said they would, and did so with excellent workmanship. They gave us a warranty for their work and it was done at a reasonable price. We couldn't be happier, and it restored our faith in the trades.

I've worked with Standard Roofing twice now; once on a minor repair for my parent's home and most recently replacing the roof on my home. Both times were excellent experiences with good communication, service, and fair pricing. Would absolutely recommend and would not hesitate to use them again!

Standard Roofing did excellent job fixing my fascia. Highly recommend their services. Jim the coordinator was very friendly and prompt with returning my call . I will definitely call them again if I have any more projects.

From the estimate to completion we were extremely pleased. The tear off and replace of our roof was completed in one day with the team that managed every aspect of the job with quality and a focus on keeping the area clean/clear of the old roof. Highly recommend for your roof replacement.

Standard roofing was excellent from the first meeting with Jim. He kept us in the loop with the schedule and what to expect. The roofing crew did an amazing job with quality and cleanliness on our property. They were very conscious of nails as I have a shared driveway and was worried about the neighbors getting a flat tire. As a business owner I know how hard it can be to exceed expectations of customers and Standard roofing completely exceeded mine. Great job guys!

10/10 recommend. They replaced my existing gutters and downspouts. The crew did great work and had very high attention to detail for complex parts of the job. This was also the most affordable quote I received. Other companies were quoting me double the price of Standard.

Jake and his crew were awesome to work with. We actually called to get quotes on a leaky chimney. When Jake saw our roof there was hail damage that we didn't know. We ended up filing a claim with our insurance and sure enough there was damage. Jake work with us picking out the correct color and insuring everything would be done correctly. The crew arrived and went straight to work. They are very professional company to work with. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

Jeff and his whole crew did a great job throughout the whole process.

We contacted Jeff with our concerns with our chimney and gutter system starting to fail, which could cause future rot or mold issues in our attic. To be clear, this was a result of work performed by another contractor 15 years ago.

Many contractors were not interested in helping with anything besides redoing the entire roof, which was not what the situation called for. The situation called for a little bit more care and attention to some smaller details that needed remediation.

Jeff and the Standard Roofing team were very happy to help us with our situation.

From original point of contact, to coming out and providing a quote, to scheduling the work, and performing the work. It was five stars.

Jeff spent a good deal of time with me explaining best options to take care of the problem either with a short term less costly or long-term more costly path. It was clear that the long term more costly was the right solution and they did a great job. I hope to have another 15+ years of a dry attic before needing to revisit the issue.

Standard completed my new flat roof, gutters, fascia and soffit beautifully. Highly recommend.

I was driving on I-894 on 09/25 at 9:30pm when several Standard Roofing & Restoration trucks flew past me driving in excess of 20 mph over the posted speed limit, flying past the rest of traffic. Worst part was, this was in a construction zone with workers on the roadway at the time.

As it was several of their trucks in line, it wasn't a single rouge employee breaking the law. Shows a lack of respect for the laws, the safety of other drivers and the road workers just trying to do their job, as well as a lack of maturity in general.

I had a good experience. Austin, the sales rep was easy to deal with and very pleasant. The entire process was very straightforward with no nonsense. Clean up was excellent. And I thought the price reasonable.

Our roof was inspected by Standard Roofing and Restoration for hail damage. They were prompt in getting here, thorough, and honest in their evaluation. I would highly recommend this company for any roof or other building exterior needs.

I like to say thank you to standard roofing and all the great service that I received. I had a leak in the roof which leaked into my bathroom which costed $500 to have the bathroom fix it. I called the original roofer back out and he did nothing for me. I called standard roofing and he came out and gave me a quote on the job. It was a fair price. Isaac showed up and he found the leak fixed the leak and repaired all the other stuff that the original roofer didn't do correctly.

Jake Wycklendt came out to our house today to review some work completed by a previous contractor. Not only was he able to provide thorough and specific details of the work, but did so in a manner that was informative and very respectful. I would absolutely recommend him and his company for any upcoming work at your home. A+

Jeff.patched up 2 holes in my mobile home rooftop.1 small and 1Bigger one and he cleaned out my gutter .on top of that he sweeten on my north side of my roof.VERY Hard worker on his job experience.

This was probably one of the worst businesses I have ever worked with and if I could give them a lower rating I would. They took my first half of the payment then didn't talk to me for weeks. Then when I called they gave me the usual run around (bad weather, emergency jobs, etc.). Then all of a sudden materials show up at my house (I did not even have a date for the work to be done yet). So I called again to see when they were going to work on it and they blamed the supply company saying they shouldn't have dropped off my materials. So I asked when they were going to work on my house and he eventually got back to me and said Tuesday around 8 am. I then make sure my work schedule and other personal matters align with this date (it was only supposed to be a 1 day job). The workers don't show. After another call the workers show up Wednesday at 9 am and leave around 3-4 pm with the job not finished. Not that big of a deal that they didn't finish but then they don't come back till Friday at noon and are gone by 3 pm, and the job is still not finished. I have to call yet again, and another guy comes out and says he will finish up the job tomorrow. So the job is finally finished except for the mess of soda cans, candy wrappers, scrap materials, and loose nails (my 1.5 year old daughter found one) left in my yard and porch which I had to clean up for them. I guess that isn't included in the quote. But as soon as the job was done they were very diligent about making sure they got the rest of there payment. I received multiple emails and phone calls in a weeks time. If I had to make a company that has no accountability for their employees, no respect for their customers, and takes all the convenience out of hiring an outside contractor, I would make Standard Roofing and Restoration.

I had Standard Roofing and Restoration do cedar repair work on my home including sills, sashes, chimney, etc. From start to finish, great experience. Nice people to talk to as well - Jeff bid the work, and it was completed as discussed plus. Good communication, even though he was on vacation! Andy Johnson completed the work, talented and super cool guy. I would heartily recommend, reasonable pricing as well.

I truly lucked out when Standard Roofing told me that Kyle would stop over the next afternoon to reconnect my gutter and downspout. My first opportunity with Standard Roofing as the other companys
had wait times and very high costs. Kyle knew that I would not be home since I had a flight then to visit my 3 year old grandaughter in Charlotte, NC.
Kyle sent me a picture of the completion. His price was next to nothing.

Really impressed with Standard! I called on a Sunday to get an estimate on a roof for a house we are looking to buy. Given the short inspection window, Jake sent Austin over the very next day. Austin was professional, answers all my questions, and quickly provided a thorough estimate that allowed us to make an informed decision in negotiations. We would confidently use Standard's services if we get the house.

I chose Standard Roofing because of their over 100yrs history in the Roofing Business. Jeff, a representative of Standard Roofing, conducted the inspection on the roof and gutters of my Mother's home.
Jeff recommended the most economical way to repair and prolong the life of the existing roof and gutters. On the appointed day Jeff's son Isaak came to do the repairs. It was good to know that Standard Roofing has produced another generation of Roofers. Issak professionalism and attention to detail allowed more confidence in the success of the repairs. I'm giving a 4 star rating at this moment ony because it allows for greater expansion.

I worked with Jeff and Isaak on a smaller gutter repair job - a lot of places won’t take this work, they want bigger jobs and want to upsell expensive leaf blocking systems. Jeff came first and inspected the problem and also did a thorough review of the roof, finding a shingle with a hole and a boot that was cracked and deteriorating. Isaak came to do the work and did a great job. Rain this morning confirmed everything working correctly now.
