Chris and Andy were great! They were diligent and responsive with great communications. Definitely came through during a time of great need. We had a busted water pipe in the evening and they were out within a few hours and stayed until 1:00am setting up dehumidifiers and assessing the damage.

Chris did a very good job assessing the water damage in our house and he explained the process of containing and removing with us every step of the way. I feel like Southeast Restoration is a very well run and professional company. My wife and have been really impressed with their work!

We woke up to a nightmare—a cracked toilet tank on the main level caused water to pour into our basement like a waterfall. We immediately called Southeast Restoration, and within an hour, DJ, Zhendy, Jonathan, Diego, and Andy were at our door ready to help.

They jumped right into action: extracting standing water, carefully moving our furniture and belongings, and performing the necessary demo. The team seamlessly coordinated with 1-800-Packouts to assess and pack up our contents so the restoration work could continue without a hitch.

When our air conditioning system was impacted, they didn’t miss a beat—they had portable AC units delivered immediately to keep us comfortable in our home. Throughout the entire process, the crew was incredibly respectful of our family, our home, and our possessions.

And as a bonus, our dog now has five new best friends!

Andy and Chis are excellent. They arrived promptly on a Sunday morning, and cleaned up a mess from a lightning strike from the night before. They are extremely hardworking and professional, and did a great job boarding the house to prevent any further damage.

I have known people over the years who were the victim of failing devices in their home which allowed water to find it's way into places it shouldn't be. Watching them deal with the resulting disaster was painful and, admittedly, I quietly rejoiced in the fact that the disaster wasn't mine...until it was.

I recently came home to find water in all the wrong places and sheetrock lying where it was never supposed to be. The events that followed such a discovery are nothing short of miserable.

I am grateful my insurance company quickly referred me to Southeast Restoration. They responded immediately, explained their methodology, helped me prioritize my concerns, and quickly got to work. They took my tight schedule into account when determining the deadline by which the first phase of their response needed to be complete, working very late the second night to make sure we stayed on schedule.

These guys....Marty, DJ, Chris and Andy....are phenomenal. They were excellent at managing my family's concerns and our disaster. I'm in the business of managing disasters ...of a different sort, of course, ...but my experience gives me a deep appreciation for their ability to walk-in, manage concerns and fears while, at the same time, working efficiently against a clock they can't control.

Southeast Restoration was very prompt in responding to my request for a mitigation estimate. During the entire process they have been very communicative and responsive, way more than my insurance company. They have guided me through the process and patiently answered all of my questions. If you need mitigation in your home, I highly recommend SE.

Polite and efficient workers (especially Zhendy who spent 6 hours here on a Friday until 10pm to be sure the job was done properly). The one drawback was that they stood me up yesterday and no one let me know they weren't able to get here until today.

It was definitely not by choice to do business with Chris, Jonathan, and the crew at Southeast Restoration, but in the end, we couldn’t have asked for a better company or people to help us (even if did ask, it would be impossible because there is no such thing)! This absolutely the BEST place to turn to if you ever need help with a wet house! Our new home was undergoing some improvements, when out of nowhere, a mixture of some construction errors and Mother Nature ended up with my Wife waking up for work and witnessing the paint “bubbling up”on the walls and ceiling. We immediately called our contractor, and within a couple hours our house looked like a scene from the movie “ET”… I have never seen anyone take the amount time and precaution to insure that the damage was contained, and that nothing else was damaged during the remediation. Chris explained the entire process before doing anything, and kept us informed step by step from beginning to end. These are very professional and highly qualified technicians, and I highly recommend them to anyone unfortunate enough to need them!!

Helene left us with a tree in our bedroom along with much structural damage. Marty saw my husband and I in our yard trying to make sense of it all and asked if he could pray with us. Needless to say we decided to see if Southeast would take us on.
Anthony, and Mathew were so helpful reassuring us all the way completing our project. We are well pleased with our results.

Worst experience ever. MIL had to have her bathroom redone due to a leak. The communication at the begin led her and myself to believe she would not have to lift a finger. They would handle everything. The lady even said she would take her around to find a place for her to stay. That never happened. People just showed up with no warning. Whoever they hired to do the abatement (not part of southeast), they pushed nails out on the adjacent wall, which my MIL was told they would fix it but she would have to pay for the paint, which is wrong when the crew messed it up. Then the project manager, incorrectly measured for the shower door, which then he said he would eat the cost since that was his mistake, turns out after everything was supposedly said and done, they came back asking for more money that she had to pay out of pocket cause it was not covered on the initial estimate (ie the shower door and the wall that the company messed up on) I will never recommend this company!

Have you ever had a tree fall on your house in the middle of the night and rain start pouring down into your house in waterfalls and you don’t know what to do? Luckily for us, Southeast Restoration of Athens knew what to do.
5 AM a tree fell, our house broke in half, 8:01 AM on a Sunday Southeast Restoration returned our call and DJ B. talked us through everything quick, fast, and in a hurry. While the damage was already done, their team got to work right away ON A SUNDAY! I’m talking tree off the house, interior assessment of water damage, “here’s what we are going to do to help,” and walked us through recovering from this miserable event.
The water mitigation team with Zhendy, Robert D., and Chris W. were amazing! They knew exactly what to look for, answered all our stupid questions, and kept us at ease—as much as one can. These folks showed up when they said they would and worked until the job was done. None of that “welp, time to clock out…” nonsense. Robert made sure everything was done correctly before he took off well past dark. Chris came in on Saturday to wrap up mitigation by himself and still had a smile on his face, was willing to listen to us, and talk with us about everything we are going through. Within just a few days, demo was done and the house was dry.
Scott B. came out to start on the estimate for insurance and didn’t spin any webs or anything for us; he just told us flat out, “these are the next steps.” That transparency makes all the difference, really. It’s a long road ahead, but I have every confidence in Southeast Restoration of Athens. My house might be in disarray, but they’ve got their “stuff” together!

Robert was very professional and most helpful in explaining the process of cleaning, drying and removal of ruin items. He is definitely an asset to your company. We definitely recommend your services.

My nana has paid into this insurance company for 50 YEARS. We just had our hot water heater explode and they refused to do a total remodel of our utility room and kitchen, they only touched what they had to. Leaving us with cabinets that don’t match. We are still not finished and it’s been 7 months since this happened. We have been left without a kitchen or floor this is entire time. Not to mention my nana has ALL wood cabinets and they replaced ours with partial board. For 2 months now they’ve had one strip of flooring left in the utility room to finish so we can have all of our stuff back and use our washer and dryer, but refuse to finish it or come up with an excuse as to why it’s not done. They don’t ever update us and they don’t prioritize us AT ALL not once. This company is unorganized and quite frankly disappointing. My nana has paid over 50000 into this company and they can’t even fix our home in a timely manner and RIGHT. This has been such a pain and burden on my family because they can’t do their job. PLEASE don’t use this company.

Friday morning I woke to 3 inches of water in hall bathroom which resulted in the hallway carpet, 2 bedrooms and closets soaked with water. Water seeped into our basement and Robert and Leo were there quickly to help us stop the damage before it got too costly. They are great and very responsive.

Southeast did restoration work on two of my bathrooms after the repair of a slab leak. The craftsmanship was outstanding, like it never happened.

Robert did an excellent job staying in touch with us throughout the process of repairing damage due to an upstairs bathroom leak. He was punctual and courteous and made sure that we were fully kept in the loop at each stage.

Great communication and experience with the mitigation team. They made a challenging situation as smooth as possible. Restoration team did an overall good job. Our issue was with the sloppy work and lack of attention to the final details such as holes left in the walls, a door left off, and gaps left between the door trim and floor of 3 doors. During the final walkthrough these and other mistakes were reported, but the attempt to correct them was rushed and messy. Thank goodness my husband is handy so he can fix them correctly although he shouldn’t have to.

8/17/24 7pm: during a bad rainstorm with high winds, a hardwood tree between my neighbor's house and mine snapped, smacked against the corner of my roof, destroying the facia, soffit & gutters, before landing on the ground with long heavy branches on the roof AND on my car parked at the top of the driveway. I spoke with Chris at Southeast Restoration of Athens 90min after it happened. He offered to come out right then to tarp the roof but the rain had stopped and I declined. He had a crew out here early the next morning (Sun) to remove the huge, long, branchy, leafy limb from the roof, my car and the ground. Chris and Leo came out afterwards and tarped the smashed roof corner to prevent further water damage if it should rain before the repairs can be made. Very personable and knowledgeable - I feel valued as a client. He took a high stress situation for me and reasurringly helped make it manageable. If anything like this EVER happens again, I'm calling Chris at Southeast Restoration! I recommend them with no hesitation!

Took a minute due to representive leaving a few months after work needed to be done. However, after passed of to another representative repairs were re-scheduled and work completed within days. Our home is back to normal and contractors did amazing with replacing several floors, drywall in laundry room and living room ceiling repairs with finish painting of walls and trim.
