Review for storm repair and warranty work (quality issues from initial install)...company sent a crew who spoke no English and incomplete detail about nature of work to be performed. A second crew was dispatched to complete work not performed by first crew (also did not speak English).

Second crew requested payment after job completion. I needed to call office to confirm this process of which I was not informed. They did not answer phone. Person from crew located someone who confirmed I was to pay this second crew. Office said they could not pay their crew until I wrote the check.

Actual work performed by these crews was fine.

LOOKS GREAT AND THE YOUNG MEN ARE NICE AND DID A GREAT JOB. THE PROBLEM IS THE NAILS COMING THROUGH MY BEDROOM WALL AND SUE AT THE OFFICE SAID READ YOUR CONTRACT. THAT'S NOT OUR RESPONCILBILITY.

SRS came to my rescue last year during the hail storm. Corey provided an excellent quote considering the extent of the damage. The roof and siding were completed promptly. There were a few minor repairs months later, and Sue and their team were incredibly helpful in returning to fix them.

A week ago, I called on two separate occasions trying to get help from Siding Repair Systems. They installed my roof, and the flashing around the chimney had come loose, and water was leaking in. I talked with Sue, and she said she understood the problem and would call back. She nor anyone from the company called back. It reminded me of similar communication issues during the original installation when i was working through her. Luckily, I was able to find another roofer to fix their problem, but I had to pay $500 for the fix. After correcting, the roofer told me the flashing was much older than my roof. So, Siding Repair Systems had cut corners by reusing the original flashing. I am including before and after pics of the flashing around the chimney for reference.

UPDATE--A couple of weeks after posting my review, I received a check for $500 from Siding Repair Systems. There was no note or explanation. Nobody reached out or called--just the reimbursement check. While this doesn't repair my confidence that they are fixing the repetitive communication issues, they did make me whole and did it without any strings attached. I wanted to update and share the new end of my experience with SRS.

I cannot find the right words to THANK SRS for the outstanding Hardie cement board job they completed in early February. Eugene, Jerry and crew are amazing, beyond amazing!! Their care, precision, and attention to detail is unsurpassed. They are simply the best!!! Sue also took care of us with utmost care, honesty, and timeliness. Thank you Cory for making sure everything was fully explained and for your patience as I made my decision about not just installing new siding but in resolving a long-standing leak. I would definitely choose SRS again for not only siding, but for window or roofing needs. Their work and service has to be the best in the St. Louis area!!

Siding repair Systems have done several siding jobs for us. We have been very pleased with the communications and end results.

We have had our siding and roof replaced and everything went smoothly. The crews were very efficient and the projects were completed quickly.. We had some administrative questions and Sue answerd that was very quickly and efficiently.

What a nightmare this company has been. 6 weeks of delay with no siding on my house the wrong color installed on 3 different occasions. (Yes I had to drive to Sherwin Williams to get he paint because the installer did not know the color written on the contract)
Pic 1. I have requested this fixed 4 times now. Including having the owner out who said "It looks like S***" but Alex said it is fine it does not need replaced.
Pic 2. I had to request this vent be black to Sue, Alex, and Mike before they installed this one. Which is already coming off... its only been up 2 weeks.
Pic 3 and 4. well I will let the paint job speak for itself.
Pic 5. This is the pile of trash they left. (they did finally come get this after a fun phone call to Sue and Mike).
Pic 6, 7, 8, & 9. Are the window they painted but some how did not notice until I said hey you got paint on my window. To which Alex said are you sure that was us? They did "Attempt" to fix but did not attempt to fix just hide the brick and mortar they damaged.
Pic 10. They "Forgot" to do the soffit on this cantilever. Notice the vents one is my dryer vent the other is a bathroom vent.
Pic 11. They did fix problem from pic 10 but I was told I did not need the large vent holes for the dryer and bathroom because the soffit is vented... Yes Alex you do please review IRC M1502 so we can avoid house fires.
Pic 12. When removing the old siding they put holes in the step flashing. (I installed new step flashing before they resided to avoid future problems.
Pic 13. They did one but not the other (this has been fixed but only after I had to request it)
Pic 14 & 15. This is an area that was marked on Alex's sheet DO NOT TOUCH. They ripped the siding up but stopped half way thru and did not fix the mistake. I said are we going to address this? To which I was told well "You plan to remodel that area anyway so it is fine" No it is not fine it looks terrible and now I'm forced to pay extra for damage that this company caused.

Do your research on this company. You will notice they half way do the job a lot then only attempt to fix the problems if you complain.

Mike was very attentive to our expectations and the team led by Marcelo worked hard, and were dedicated to the job. They left our property looking fresh and improved.

Just don’t!

It’s unfortunate and upsetting that things have gotten to this point but their presentation of being caring, professional and ethical is a façade (ironic right for a siding company).

The sales portion of the process was fine. Their cost was on-par. Jim (sales) seemed decent. He was personable and seemed to care, but in retrospect his talk of having a near death experience that change him and all his religious talk was likely just a phony tactic to win ones trust.

The first project was replacing the siding on the front side of my house. I bought a 40 year old home with original masonite siding so I selected to replace it with Hardie board (masonite has been discontinued) and these guys are authorized Hardie Installers.

There were several problems on the jump that I overlooked. (A) They use third party contractors that they don’t tell you about (it may be in the fine print). (B) Eugene (the “foreman”) wasn’t present when the work started, despite being told otherwise.

I had water damage that had actually leaked inside the house so I was having simultaneous internal work done as well and thankfully my general contractor was around for much of the siding work. The main area with the water damage revealed black mold of the plywood within the wall and large holes in the plywood from rot. My contractor noted it from the inside when he opened up the drywall. I contacted Eugene who finally showed up to witness the issue from the inside. He then removed several external boards and confirmed that the mold and holes. They had to undo quite a bit of work for my contractor to replace all the rotten plywood before completing the siding.

They also got the finish wrong on the siding - I picked smooth, they put on textured. They got the color wrong on the breezeway - original was white (like an accent wall), they painted it the same color as the rest of the home. I have the contract, emails and photographs of my home to prove everything I’m saying and will enter them as evidence when called for. They broke an exterior decorative post and sign that was caught on camera that they did ultimately pay for.

I had to send multiple emails and make multiple phone calls to Jim, Eugene and Mike (the owner?) to get any of the above issues addressed.

About a year after the front siding replacement was completed I contacted them again to replace all the windows on my home. I made a point to ask that Eugene be present to monitor the work but once they started I never saw him again. Again they use third party contractors for this as well. When I asked Eugene why he wasn’t present to oversee the work he told me that the subcontractors know more about the window replacement then he does so there is no need/value in his presence. I had to have them come back after the work was completed to re-caulk many of the windows. They cut a major electrical line in the wall which if my wife hadn’t been home to witness the power loss who knows if it would have been recognized or addressed.

It’s been about a year since the window replacement was completed. I’ve been trying for 6 months however to get them to come back to address some suspected condensation I’ve noted on several windows. I also have a broken screen that needs replaced. I’ve messaged multiple times with the secretary, Jim, Eugene and Mike. Mike has only chimed in recently since I’ve threatened other action.

I generally only leave 5 star comments as I don’t want to hurt anyone’s business and ability to support their family. When ignored and taken advantage after multiple attempt to communicate and provide reasonable restitution well then I’m going to speak up. I’ve reported them to the BBB and I’m initiating further action.

I warn you to stay away from these people if you value your home, your time and your money.

Don't believe a word Corey or Eugene says. They are liars. They don't do any of the work themselves and and subcontract every thing out to companies like Jett construction which doesn't used any skilled labor that don't specialize in anything so if you want them to analyze or fix any issues you are having good luck and I told you so. Once the subcontractors get there money good luck on trying to get them to fix anything orhave the know how. Don't buy Coreys promises even if he puts it in the contract. He doesn't understand the scope of what needs to be done and doesn't communicate to the subcontractor what needs to be done and they don't know how to fix it. Eugene admitted he subcontractor didn't do the multiple things correct and keeps promising he will come out to fix it. It's been several months now. There bbb rating will be dropping soon as well.

Got a call from these guys after clicking an add for siding. I thought ok, why not. After several talks back and forth, a rescheduling of my appointment, I got a call day before asking for me to send pictures of my house. I did, with no reply. Day of my appointment I left work early in order to meet them. No Show. Siding contractors apparently are impossible to trust or find.

Siding repair systems did a great job on our siding and many neighbors have now contracted with them as well since our home looks like new!! The work was finished quickly and professionally and clean up was complete! Corey Feco, our contact person, was the absolute best!!! He was informed, professional, friendly, patient, fair, and kind. We would recommend Corey to everyone and have!! Thanks Corey for all you have done in our behalf!!

Siding Repair Systems lived up to its name. Discovered original house construction allowed seepage of water under some of the siding. Lumber supporting siding had rotted. Like a cancer. SRS uncovered the problem, identified why, and then immediately delivered finished siding solution. Love their work.

This past year, Siding Repair Systems repaired my water damage and replaced my vinyl siding with Hardie among other work. Eugene, Craig and Doug were excellent craftsman. The job looks great. So far, I don't have any issues with the work. Pricing was competitive and they were fair with me negotiating the work.

Respectful of property. Original cement board siding had multiple places where board had cracked. I thought it would cost of Fortune to replace. Siding company replaced only the boards that were cracked and repainted the whole house. House looks brand new.

I've had to re-write my review as Google does not allow full-picture reviews, or full detail reviews of an experience. I'll simplify:

Sales process: easy but smoke feels like it's being blown and you'll deal with a overly-confident salesman who is pushy that they've won the job before you've done price-hunting due diligence.

Office crew (hi Sue) is very nice most of the time. We had negative experience with one office person who was rude when a process wasn't followed and there was push back. When talking to the right person, things *will* get done.

Crew: The big crew guy we had (Chuck) felt like a one man crew. We paid for a full crew but dealt with a second member who barely showed up, left hours early, or was "sick" some of the time. This affected site cleanup significantly, and we heard for many days, Chuck cursing at this younger man, which lead to phone calls from neighbors. Very loud, never really an apology. The work was done though we had a week delay because our house is too tall for the crew (?). He was afraid of heights, and this lead to a long delay that had the open bits getting rained on and wind blowing their wrap everywhere. It was bad/unfavorable for a week.

Site supe: Saw him when necessary; kept crew going when needed. Ultimately took care of some things himself when really needed. Has the tools to get things done. Very polite and patient in dealing with both sides of the fence.

Site cleanup: Inconsistent and needs improvement. Daily work required by homeowners to keep things really clean, stepped on a few nails that weren't picked up. Dangerous for a kiddo running around in the yard afterwards.

Gutter installs: DON'T LET THE INSTALLERS LEAVE until you've inspected. They peaced out on my install, and left me having to make a trip to HW store to buy more downspouts to complete their job. Gutters no longer move though, and they look good.

At the end of the job, they provided all warranty documentation and job completion information and there is no question on outstanding items.

Satisfaction: We bought insulated siding and can no longer hear road noise and things, which has been a big improvement. It's been too warm to know if we'll see true energy savings with it come cold time. The gutters are quiet and no longer "swing" in high winds. Our child sleeps better during storms because of this improvement. This was worth it alone.

In-reality, it's a construction/improvement job. Things will take significant time sometimes, and follow-up will be needed in some areas. Every job has that. Both parties in a job are never 100% satisfied but I'm pretty close. There are some items you simply can't avoid, or it's too late to improve on. For the price I paid for the job, the house looks great (it looks amazing), it's finally QUIET, and I am hopeful we'll see the energy savings, too.

I would and do recommend this company to those who have asked about the job. Just keep an eye on things and you'll be fine.

For whole-home re-siding (tearing off + new tyvek + reinstall of new insulated vinyl) and soffit + fascia + gutters, our home looks like new on the outside, and sounds better and feels a bit more tight on the inside. Would use this company again if we were to move within St Charles County.

Had vinyl siding replaced with James Hardie siding. Improved the look of our hone so much. The team installing were courteous and professional. They arrived when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. Great decision to have them do the work.

The pictures can show the quality of this companies work. Paid for new siding. Paid for the rotten wood behind the siding to be repaired. This is the worst quality work I have ever seen. They’ve been promising to come all week and fix the work and use new siding. They reused my old siding that had paint on it. They framed around the rotten wood. If you’d like to waste your time and money go ahead.

Update: the work is now complete after paying extra but the job is done

Siding Repair Systems recently renovated our existing wood deck and did a fantastic job. They used the existing footings and structure which saved a lot of money over other companies who wanted to tear everything down and start from scratch. They used Moistureshield Vision composite decking which we love. Chuck, our intsaller, was very meticulous and did a great job on the install. We highly reccomend them for any deck repair or replacemnt projects.

These guys are the best. They came back years later to tack up some siding that came loose in the storm.

Siding Repair Systems replaced several large areas of my siding and painted it to match. The quality of the siding work was outstanding and the paint a near perfect match. I didn't know about them until I got a flyer so I decided have them do a long postponed project. I fell fortunate now to have someone to call that I trust. I very highly recommend them.

Initially we were going to have our cedar siding repaired and replaced in certain areas. The estimate was affordable. We also had them bid a complete renovation using James Hardie siding. For us it made sense to go with James Hardie siding and never have to stain or repair the cedar siding in the future. We couldn’t be happier with the excellent work performed by Siding Repair Systems. The installation crew was excellent and the job they did exceeded our expectations.

I had siding that in various places that buckled or had dropped out of place. Siding Repair Systems also noticed additional imperfections. The bid was good and the workers did a full circle around the house securing the siding back to looking good. I even had some seams facing the front of the house that they reversed so the seams were invisible from the street.

Several years ago, I met a representative from Siding Repair Systems. Not only did they do a great job on all new windows and siding but they set me up with a finance company that allowed me to have a full year interest-free. My house looks great and the added value is considerably more than it cost to have it done. As a realtor, I know this to be true. In addition to all that, my utility bills have been cut in half.
I'd recommend them to anyone.

We have been very satisfied customer of Siding repair for years. Professional staff and crews that have the work experience background and stick to the contract and complete the work timely not months! The worksite is picked up daily with respect for neighbors property too. They haves fixed and replaced siding boards, install new exterior doors /frames, windows and more and make it look like it’s always been there with matching paint. They can advise what looks right for your home and can build or repair decks.

Request Hardie Product specialist come to your house to inspect for issues that would void waranty. I did and they found a whole list. Be careful using SRS

MAKE SURE TO READ MY SIDING REVIEW!!!!I signed two contracts with SRS, one for 26 windows in my house and one for James Hardie siding. Six weeks after I signed the contract and gave the required down payment to Jim, I received an email from Jim stating that the costs he used to write the contract were 6 months old and he didn't know there was a significant price increase. If we wanted the windows we would have to pay over $3000 more. I responded back to him that we had a signed contract and I expected him to honor it. He then emailed stating that the problem was actually that my windows were required to be tempered because if code and he didn't know that was the case at the tine of the contract. I responded back that he gave the estimate and was at the house and should have seen that the windows would be required to be tempered. Jim stated he never came in the house so he was not aware. I told him he had access to the house and as a professional he was responsible to male sure to obtain all necessary information. I told him I expected my contract to be honored and windows to meet all code requirements. Eventually the owner Mike came out to see the issues and get info from me. He did at that time agree to honor the contract. When the window came and the installers showed up the job was completed very fast. I was surprised that they completed I inspected the windows and the operation. Some were difficult to operated as far as closing. SRS production manager Eugene was aware and would address the windows as they would be capping windows when they did the siding. After looking at the windows I noticed that triple windows were installed uneven and were not lined up, and other windows wouldn't close. Windows were reinstalled and eventually were fine. The company did honor the contract and window eventually were installed properly. I will say if Eugene and Bill would have installed the windows initially I believe everything would have been fine from the start. If you are guaranteed, as part of the contract, that Eugene and Bill will install your windows I believe you would be fine using this company. If not I believe a different company would be a better choice. Make sure to read my review about my siding experience!!

Here it goes.

The siding job stared and it went awful. The installers show up, and they removed the old siding and started putting up the Hardie Board and batten. However, it was unfinished. My contract specified white, and it was 8 foot sheets. The 8 foot sheets would not work on my house. 10ft panels were needed to be applied for it to be sided correctly. When I advised the one installer that I could speak with he said he would have Eugene talk to me. I also called the office about it and between the office stating 8 ft panels were made amd that they paint all the Hardie panels. I stated they do make 10 ft panels and my contract specified white and said absolutely nothing about painting. Eventually, 10 ft white panels were delivered and the grey panels were taken off, and the white was put on. The job progressed slowly. As I inspected their work daily I noticed no Vapor barrier was placed. This is REQUIRED for the waranty. I advised Eugene that there wasn't Vapor barrier on the house. He states they always do that. I advised him I found the roll that was delivered and it was unopened. He came out and verified no Vapor barrier was on the house. All the siding was removed again and Vapor barrier was installed. The job continued and I noticed no flashing was put above the windows and they had caulked the windows and trim in a fashion would cause rain water to be trapped and not drain out. I also noted that their wasnt flashing installed at the junction of the masonry and siding. Review is too long to post. Email me for the rest. [email protected]

Contacted several siding companies, but the presentation by Cory convinced me to go with Hardie siding over vinyl. The cost he quoted me was slightly more than another company's vinyl cost. Workmen arrived as promised, and worked quickly and efficiently. real craftsmen. Foreman Eugene was on site on a regular basis and inspected the work, kept me informed of progress. House was transformed and I love the results. Set up to replace gutters and will look to this company for windows in the future. Great experience all around.

They had very poor communication and chose what they wanted as far as style of rails etc for the job instead of asking. They also neglected to ask about the color, they selected it too and were surprised when I hated it. The job was overall poor. Poor outcome and it took 3 months. They could not get a permit. At one point because of them, my house got condemned by the city due to permits. I am not sure it could be a worse experience. It turned out awful. I would not recommend them at all. Maybe they can do better but this was a terrible experience and outcome

I had my house re-sided with Hardie Board. Simply fantastic crew led by Mario and manager Jennifer.

I was blessed with great weather throughout the 3 weeks it took for SRS to complete my job. This was not a simple coverup. They completely stripped my 3,100 SqFt house down to the original frame and then put in new insulation, an insulation board, a wrap and then the siding. After that a subcontractor installed all new 6" gutters. When a mistake was made, such as a cut wire, they immediately sent out an electrician to fix it. I could not be more impressed with the crew and response to phone calls.

They replaced our wood siding in one day. They did a fantastic job and did all clean up as well!

We highly recommend Siding repair systems. They are able to do any job, large or small, with Siding, decks, roofs or other exterior work. Jim was a wonderful estimator; he didn't pressure us into doing anything more than what we actually wanted, and was willing to give us two quotes for two different size jobs on the spot. They only collected 10% as a down payment and the rest when the job was finished.
They gave us a wait time of 8 weeks, but called us after 2 weeks because they had a 3 day window open up. Jose and his crew were timely, professional, did superior work, and cleaned up the site when finished. It rained one afternoon and they even came back on Saturday to finish the job. Our home has been transformed! We will definitely use them again.

Vinyl siding replacement. The siding repair systems team was no pressure and waited until we were ready for our project. They offered the best pricing and service when installed. Extremely happy with the job done.

Replaced and installed a new master bathroom window and upper and lower bay windows in our daughter's bedroom and the formal dining room below it.

Siding Repair Systems replaced all my siding with James Hardie siding, wrapped all fascia with aluminum, and replaced all gutters and downspouts and installed new gutter guards. They did a great job, kept the job site clean, and kept me well informed through the process. I highly recommend them ! Get a quote from them, you will be glad you did !

Siding Repair Systems has installed Hardy Board Siding to my home that has Masonite. They will install portions of the siding if your current siding doesn't need a total replacement. They do a great job and you cannot tell that there are two different sidings on the home. They match the paint perfectly. It is an amazing service to provide. Very happy with them.

I had a porch foundation fail, and it shoved several pieces of siding, including the tall corner piece, up severely. Deformed & ruined the siding. Once I had the porch repaired, I called Siding Repair, and they came out quickly, gave me a fair estimate, and did the job on time. They worked a miracle, because I never thought the siding & corner piece would match & look good again - but it looks fantastic. Will definitely use them again.

Overall, we are extremely pleased with our new James Hardie siding installed by Siding Repair Systems. The quote we received from Mike was much more reasonable than the other contractors that bid the job and the project started on time and was completed ahead of schedule. Alex and his crew were wonderful to work with. Great communication and willing to make simple changes when it came to moving some trim. They worked hard to do a good job and were pretty good about cleaning up the jobsite.

Had sidingng,windows,doors,lights and a gutter readjusted during the midst of the pandemic. The whole thing was chaotic. Understandable due to what was going on.Everything kept getting pushed back nd it was a little hard trying to get ahold of someone. Finally get things started even though they didn't really start when they were supposed to, but got it worked out. Window/door guys did a great job. Siding crew seemed to be rushing and not getting everything done like we wanted. If I hadn't of taken off of work to check things out there would be a lot to redo. Heavy use of caulk all over gutter never was fixed, big gaps on new posts but fixed. They were gonna use different color trim instead of the color we chose. Lights seem to be half hazardly up. Front siding while walking to the front door, you can clearly see all the gaps along the siding. 3 stars because it's an improvement to the old lap board siding. And the sales guy will say anything to get a job started. Instead of really figuring out what the customer wants.

Siding Repair Systems listened to our needs and desires for siding which did not include vinyl siding. They then suggested James Hardie Board Siding and Trim in the colors of our choice. We were thrilled, negotiated the price and happily signed a contract. The Installers were highly skilled ‘Hardie’ certified. They were professional, responsive to our needs and even open to some design changes we requested. The end results were incredible and we felt like we did when we purchased this house 37 years ago. The workmanship and the high quality Hardie siding and color looks amazing. This experience was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made and we absolutely would recommend ‘Siding Repair Systems’ to anyone. Just so you know, these folks are flexible and very willing to work within our budget. We could have done only a portion of the house if that would have been best for us. Obviously we did the whole shebang and we love it!

The team worked very hard while at my home. The only recommendations I could make is they waited to the day they needed to paint which would be the second work day to go buy the paint which was then not available. This caused us difficulties we had to change paint stores as what we had chosen was now no longer available. If you use this company which I would have no difficulties in recommending them I would make sure that they go and buy the paint that you need a week ahead of time. Otherwise a good value well done job by a hard-working crew. Mike the owner of the company visited my home twice during the repair and personally oversaw what was going on

Excellent service on new siding, soffit, fascia and gutters. Friendly, hard working crew finished quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. Absolutely no complaints.
