Shine was great. They were booked up solid for a few weeks, but they had a last minute cancellation and squeezed me in. They did a great job cleaning my totally clogged gutters. There was no way you were going to catch me up there on my 2 story house doing what they did!

The folks at Shine are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They do something called a roof cleaning, which I'm afraid to see how they actually do it because it sounds frightening, but my roof comes out looking nearly brand new when they're done with it. Plus they use a gentle cleaning method which really saves an old roof. Shine provides indispensable services for the upkeep and general well being of your home; especially for those hard to reach exterior spaces. I call on them every season.

Shine worked me into a tight pre-holiday schedule, and then came a day earlier to be sure the prdicted rain would not cancel the service scheduled for the next day. The guys went above and beyond cleaning the windows, helping me remove the screens (had no idea how to do that) and making sure everything I had moved for them was put back into place before they left. I could not have asked for better service. Will always use them!

I had been using a different service for years to wash my home. They increased their prices to a point I could no longer afford. That’s when I found SHINE. Affordable prices and top shelf service. I’ve used them twice and they have exceeded any expectation That I had. Great people.

*Disappointing*

I hired Shine back in 2022/2023 for a full house, roof, gutters, and windows wash, and I was extremely satisfied with the service. I recommended them to everyone because their work was top-notch. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been quite disappointing.

This time, I scheduled them for a roof cleaning and gutter clean. They were understandably busy, and I had to wait four weeks for an appointment, only to receive a cancellation due to a truck breakdown. Given my HOA situation, they kindly managed to fit me in two weeks later.

However, after the service, I noticed numerous footprints left on my metal roof. When they returned for a spot clean two weeks later, they left oil marks all over the roof, which are now visible from the road. The crew suggested a full roof cleaning and mentioned they would follow up, but it's been a week with no communication, leaving me concerned about whether this issue will ever be resolved.

Additionally, they were supposed to fix a gutter but have had to reschedule twice due to not reviewing their notes and forgetting to bring the necessary part. Once again, there has been no follow-up or rescheduling, just an invoice without any assurance of quality service.

It's truly a shame to see how their once exceptional service has declined. I hope they can regain the standard they once had, as I really wanted to continue recommending them.

Michael and Christian delivered exceptional service at my residence today. While they executed the assigned tasks of cleaning and gutter maintenance with precision, they went above and beyond by following specific instructions and completing additional work. I had requested for my house to be pressure washed and gutters to be cleaned, but upon inspection, Michael advised that the gutters didn't require cleaning and recommended measures to prevent water spillage. I appreciated his transparency and cancelled the gutter cleaning service without any charges. I opted for pressure washing of my driveway and stairs instead, resulting in a brand new look for my house. I will definitely continue to utilize SHINE's services.

We recently had the Shine team to our home in Smithfield to do a whole house window cleaning.
From our initial contact with the office staff to request an estimate ; all the way through to the completion of the job (43 windows), everyone we interacted with was very friendly, professional and thorough.
My wife and I believe that equally important to the quality of the work is the honesty, integrity and good communication from those providing their service. The Shine team delivered on all of this and more. And our windows haven’t been this clean since they were newly installed. We won’t hesitate for a moment to call Shine for future services.

They were also helpful, and went above the main focus of the contract to do several small items that they noticed while on the job, including cleaning several areas showing rust/water stains. My wife and I decided to have the exterior of our home cleaned, along with all the windows. "Shine
Window and Home Exterior" came to give us an estimate, and we were immediately impressed. The details of the planned work were discussed. They took their time in explaining what was needed and the length of time the work would take. Their knowledge and experience was obvious. They went out of their way to make sure that the work would not interrupt our plans. They took their time in making sure that we understood all options.
On the day they arrived, they once again reviewed all the plans for cleaning both the interior and exterior of the windows, the siding and outside fixtures. The pleasant courteous crew of three arrived on time, discussed plans for the work, and took time to answer any questions.
We swere most impressed with the results. The outside of our home looked new, and all the work was completed as we had discussed.
The owner of "Shine" came by personally one week after job completion. We checked the work together.
He showed a sincere interest in making sure we were satisfied with the results. He even got his long ladder out to check a questionable window spot, and proceeded to hand clean by himself.

I am so pleased with how my home looks after Shine came through to power wash. They did the entire 3 story home plus both balconies and stairs without me having to move a thing. They were on time and quick as well as communicative. I will undoubtedly use them again the next time my home looks like it’s been rolling around in moss!

We have been working with Shine for 4 or more years. The Team did an excellent job for us recently. They had a big job to accomplish...they completely cleaned the entire exterior of our house, which is nearly 4000 Sq ft. They cleaned every window inside and out! They did a remarkable job! We loved every aspect of dealing with Shine! We used them for indoor and outdoor window washing. They exceeded our expectations! The woman on the phone was so helpful and answered every question. There were 2 young men who were friendly, professional, did a great job and were personable as well! The job was completed in about 2 hours. We can actually SEE through our windows now! I highly recommend this company for any cleaning services anybody might need!

BEWARE! Company may cause damage to your home!!!

My experience with this company has been exceptionally poor. This company seems to target condo associations with a bait and switch. Saying that the cost is $10 per window or door when they really mean $10 per pane. My windows cost $30 and each door cost $20. No sliding door has just one panel so they should have said $20 for each door. They spent very little time on each window. For 7 windows/doors, I was charged $170 when I was expecting $70.

While in our house, they damaged material for an ongoing bathroom renovation. I called and emailed their office and they took a week to reply before denying everything. So typical and so disappointing.

We just used Shine to clean the windows inside and out at our 1921 Craftsman home. They sent a very professional, friendly and hard-working crew for the cleaning. They windows were spotlessly cleaned and the frames and sills were meticulously wiped clean. The screens were dry cleaned and also looked liked new. The entire time the crew was engaging and at the end asked us to inspect their work to make sure that we were satisfied.

July 2025 update- Shine just cleaned our windows and damaged one screen taking it out and putting it in. It left a 6” gash in the screen. The foreman said that they would take care of it. The office called back and said that is our problem because there was a small dent smaller than a pencil eraser in the screen in a completely different part of the screen and that I should read the fine print in the contract and take the screens out myself next time if I didn’t like it. Then they mentioned that they have a screen repair service that I could hire! Not the way to treat a repeat customer that spends $600 per year for window cleaning. BEWARE

We were very pleased with the work Shine did for us. Our windows, sills and frames are sparkling. The guys took good care to not let their ladders touch our new gutters, rinsed our shrubs off before and after, basically treated our house with care. They were professional, friendly, and on time. Highly recommend.

This company sent out two amazing people to clean all of our outside widows, pressure wash around our home and made all of our driveway and sidewalks look like new! We could not be more pleased! Overall, great work. They did more than I expected, paying careful attention to my rain gutters, cleaning the nooks and crannies of the brickwork, and removing years of mold from the siding and downspouts. I was VERY impressed with their work. Scheduling the appointment required multiple e-mails from me and I felt ignored at first, but the work was well worth the wait.

There was miscommunication that led to me receiving work that I did not want (but was still financially responsible to pay). I highly recommend requesting them physically come to the property for which you desire service to speak directly with you about your requests instead of them using old internet pictures of your property as they did with me. It will prevent a lot of confusion and wasted money.

They do a great job, and worked hard to get my house on schedule for gutter cleaning before the hurricane was supposed to hit. I got texts confirming the appointment, letting me know when they were on the way, there, and finished, which was awesome!

This is the 2nd time we have used them. We had our windows cleaned and house pressure washed the last week of May. They were late arriving and we have a pretty big house and lots of windows. They rushed through the cleaning and then about 2 weeks late we realized that a special rose bush (that my kids bought me for mothers day) that is 10 years old was dying quickly along with other smaller ones in front of the house. The only thing that occurred differently was the pressure washing. A rep came out to see the damage and he said oh no it looks like they didn't wet the plants first before covering them up. He said he would get with the owner right away. Now it is July 12th and still nothing. We have had to call them at least 5 times and still nothing. We also just realized that they didn't pressure wash part of the house on the 2nd story that is not real visible. Regardless, the customer service has been horrible and the owner still has not even called to apologize. My husband owns a company that is service based and he would've been to the house himself the next day to fix the problem and to make sure he had a happy client versus a very upset and disappointed one. Very sad because I am also a realtor and have referred this company, but I cannot any longer.

My house was a mess with all the black mold that was on it. My front porch was a mess. My house looked brand new once they finished. I love that this is a Christian company as well. They were reasonably price on top of that for the work they did. Already recommend them for services to someone else.
