He was also very detailed and thorough. We felt he went through the house with a fine-toothed-comb, which is exactly what you hope for when purchasing a new home.
The report we received after the inspection was also great! It was easy to navigate and very user friendly. It was broken down into sections of the house, easy to read, and included lots of pictures to show us exactly what he was talking about.

If you are buying a home - and I cannot stress this enough - call April to come inspect it. What you DON'T want to do is use your realtors crummy inspector and then realize three months after closing he missed a multitude of issues and THEN call quality home. Use quality home the first time, save yourself the headache - get April to take a look. She is extremely thorough, knows her stuff, enjoys what she does AND my cat loves her so there's that. The report was thorough and outlined everything by severity so we can deal with things in order of "catastrophic failure" to "you can ignore this for a while and it's fine". An absolute must for any home buyer - we learned the hard way that at the end of the day the realtor is out to make their money, and I get it, but get your own inspection done. It's worth it.

I scheduled an air quality/mold inspection with QHI due to some concerns I had in my recently purchased home. The first thing I have to compliment on is that they were able to get me in for an appointment within a few days from me calling in and Sharon was probably one of the most personable and informative scheduling associates I have ever spoken with. Their inspector April then called the day of planned service to confirm that she was on the way, and then upon her arrival did a spectacular job first off listening to my concerns, then thoroughly explaining the process, what her on-site findings/recommendations were and then finally how long it takes to receive results back and all of the things that come along with reports, etc. I 10/10 recommend this company to anyone in need of a home and/or mold inspection. Absolutely top notch service from people who actually care!

We had the unfortunate experience with April at our home in July. She wrote a 51 page report for our wonderful buyers that is littered with mistakes. She clearly needs additional training since she is killing deals for sellers. Just a handful of wrong information(for this review): leaking pipes under the house (there are none), attic stairs not working (she didn't know how to connect the bottom piece), drip pan needed under water heater (not required if on ground floor), exterior lights don't work (all are dusk til dawn lights), foundation vents loose (all installed correctly).

I had 2 home inspections done by April recently. SHE IS AMAZING !! Professional , knowledgeable and innovative . She is every homebuyer’s angel and every homeowners nemesis. She comes with drones and checks the top of houses ! Goes in your crawl space ! Too to bottom she got you covered, The report and color pictures she sends you to support her findings can not be argued. If you’re buying a home ask for April ! See April Below ☺️

When finished gave us a synopsis and when to expect the written report. She was very professional in all aspects and I have great confidence in her evaluation of our home.

April did an inspection for us on an older home, We thought it was in relatively good shape, but she did a very thorough inspection and found a number of issues that helped us decide to ultimately not pursue the home. Had she not caught the issues we would have ended up with an expensive home needing several thousand dollars in repairs. I am very glad we hired her!

This is going to be my boyfriend and I first home and we are OVER THE MOON that we were able to get a Home Inspector as professional and thorough as Steve Friddle. He arrived before scheduled time and checked my home top to bottom as if he were the one moving in this home. Last week I had the privilege of attending Floyd and Sandra's home inspection course in Cross Lanes Wv. At first, I'll be honest, I was expecting the same old thing when it comes to trainings. Someone who was just there to be there and power point us to death. But after just the first couple hours, it wasn't anything like I expected. They are two of the most genuine, kindhearted, caring people I have ever met. They went above and beyond for me and my classmates and treated us like family. They have not only changed my life with providing me with everything I need in this new venture to become a top-notch home inspector, but they also have changed my life with my family. Teaching us to slow down and enjoy things and the times with our wives and kids. To not take the time with them for granted. Last week, I not only gained the knowledge I needed to start my new career, but I gained thirteen new brothers and a sister in Floyd, Sandra and my classmates. You will not find two better people in this world. My family and I are forever in their debt!

I do and will recommend this company for the home inspection. What a gem they have in Mr. James (Jim) was great! A true professional you have representing your company. He was very reassuring and extremely knowledgeable. He left no stone unturned and no roof unlocked. He even cleaned after himself; he had to go to the attic and some of the insulation (small fibers) followed him out, he ensured he picked the droppings up as he closed his climb cart. He also had some great recommendations for minor repairs. The summary was written within hours of the inspection. i did not find this company by checking google, yelp or BBB, my realtor recommended them and boy am I grateful. Jim a true professional!

When our previously scheduled inspector from another firm had to cancel at the last minute, QHI helped us out of a jam and had someone available for the inspection scheduled the following day. Used Quality Home Inspections for pre-purchase home inspection. We were not able to be at inspection, but QHI walked through everything with our realtor.
Jim D. gave us a great video chat walk through covering all major deficiencies before leaving the house. Jim discussed what could be fixed easily and what needed contractor attention.
QHI sent a summary of deficiencies which was easy to understand and captured the deficiencies with pictures and recommendations for corrective measures. QHI also sent the full report outlining the entire inspection and all findings. QHI provided contact information for Jim D. and the home office and encouraged us to ask follow-up questions as necessary.

My sister in law used them for their home inspection and my wife was there during that home inspection. My wife liked how knowledgeable and upfront they were with her sisters home inspection. Being a new home buyer, I literally went with any recommendation and I was not disappointed. We arrived about 10 minutes before our appointment and Jim was already surveying the area. He was very thorough and would give us recommendations on how to fix cosmetic issues. He also provided more information about how houses were built back in the day. I would highly recommend them as they were very knowledgeable and professional. They were very easy to work with and are able to alleviate any concerns you may have with any issues.

My home inspector from Quality was Gene. Gene was early and extremely friendly. He told us exactly what he would be doing and invited us to ask any questions. As he inspected the house he pointed items out and explained them to us. This was very kind and let me know the inspection was thorough. I received an extremely detailed report SAME DAY! Yesterday I met with Mr. Floyd Gibbs at a property I plan on purchasing next month. Mr. Gibbs arrived before our scheduled appointment and went to work. He was very friendly, and could site code violations from memory as well as explain the potential hazards if they are not fixed. Everything that he saw he explained (in terms non inspectors would understand) His company uses a color code to explain the severity of all issues noted. Mr. Gibbs was very thorough as the home I am purchasing is 2,677 square feet, in addition the home has a crawl space and an attic.
I definitely recommend Mr. Gibbs if you want someone to do a thorough and trustworthy job.
