Shifflett just installed a new Fortified roof on our house, which had some extra details that had to be worked out ahead of time due to the particular construction of our home. Bryan worked through them to get our plan in place and was on site throughout the entire job to make sure things went smoothly. The crew was meticulous from start to finish. The devil’s in the details and the roof is one of the most important parts of the house, I left feeling like they truly cared about getting them right. Very poor work. Very rude Will never get again! Don’t trust these people took weeks to get done! Chad on ponchatrain in slidell very young and don’t know nothing about getting jobs done!!! So glad it’s over! Left tire marks all over my lawn now I gotta fix the ruts in my gas from his work truck. Asked him to hold a check he deposited that day! Very aggravating and work was poor!

Vincent @ Shifflett Roofing was as truthful as any contractor I have came across to do my roof. Out of the 5 roof contractor I interviewed Shifflett Roofing was about in the middle price wise but it was the attention to detail and honesty about good shingles compared to so so ones. Coming from a roofing back ground I get back to that and I know a lot more then what I lead on to be. After picking my shingles of course it was out of stock do to the Hurricane, Vincent stayed on it and keep me informed throughout that process weekly with apologies that was out of his control. When they finally came in he set up a date and time at my convenience right away. They came and did everything in a professional manner. Clean up was amazing each day of the 5 day install and there was Vincent there also.. Well the finished day was over and the next day for the final payment and walk thru was under way and he notice a few things I didn't see and he brought it to my attention and said it will be done correct tomorrow and it was. Then I had a lighting rod that was destroyed do to age . He offered to replace it but I new it wasn't on them. I said I will order a new one and he said when it comes in let him know, I did and he sent his crew over the next day and installed it with no problem. My home is a 3 story 5000.sq ft Victorian in uptown New Orleans and the roof looks amazing along even more so with the new paint job.. Now I'm saying that because my family members have been roofers for 3 decades . I didn't use them because they don't do roofs like my home with the height and all peaks an valleys. But they did come to exam my roof and gave it a 10 out 10. Now that's good great and awesome , and if you want that for your home Shifflett Roofing is the one to call. Everything was awesome! John was the lead man and made the initial contact with my parents. Answered all their questions and presented them with options and no pressure. Blake was the man on site, he did an excellent job running and coordinating the job. Tim the owner stopped by to check in and lend a hand if needed. Even after 25 years of roofing, he still gets on the roof with his guys!!! The whole roofing crew was awesome and worked well together. Top notch! Don't always go with the guy who gives you the cheapest price. Cheap work ain't good and good work ain't cheap!

They were extremely responsive and prompt with a quote and a time to do the roof. Their price was very competitive. The crew did a great job putting on the roof and repairing water damage to wood below the old roof. We have dormers and the prior roof was not laid down correctly for dormers. Shifflett used step flashing and ice and water shield. They cleaned up afterwards and made sure to use magnets to get the errant nails from around the property.The roof looks beautiful and where I used to pray for no rain, now I welcome it and the peace of mind we now have. Vincent went above and beyond for me, helping me to repair a leak due to improper sealant work and a missing drip edge on my roof. He even wrote me a statement letter that I may need in the future to pursue reimbursement from the builders of my home. I had what was called a dead valley. Beau had a plan to apply ice & water shield and tpo in the valley. Once applied I still had an issue, they came back out to address the issue. I haven’t been home through this rainy week but will be watching during this weekend. Beau is very responsive and will guarantee work. The only reason I put four stars instead of five is because in haven’t been able to be available to see if all is sealed up on my patio roof.

The crew came out and replaced the roof doing an excellent job. They cleaned up not leaving anything behind. Completed the job in one day fighting the heat and rain. Would highly recommend.

Communication was perfect and FAST - we reached out for a quote and by the next day he was at our house assessing what needed to be done then less than 24 hours later our roof was being replaced! We were not a small job - they were finished in 2.5 days (and could have been finished in 2 if it weren’t for rain). They used top quality products and walked us through everything, taking pictures of areas under the roof that they thought we may be interested in seeing. If I could put 10 stars I would once I made contact with Tim he immediately had Beau get a hold of me. They came and looked at the roof. I had already had it inspected by the insurer in a couple of days they had all the materials in one day they had the entire roof torn apart and down to the boards and the guys worked into the dark to finish it on the second day, and I have a complete roof. It looks gorgeous. Hope to never have to replace another roof but there’s only one company that I would use and that’s Shifflett roofing.
