Rusty's was a great choice. Friendly technicians. The owner (Rusty) even assisted in my install. On a Saturday! Richard was top notch in the two meetings I had with him. Both guys are hard-working and thorough. Cheaper than SemperFi and Parker and Sons. Great unit at a fair price. One less headache to worry about. I'm glad I went with Rusty's.

I have worked with him a few times now and find him bright and friendly and good at his job. The VIP Program is a great value. Rusty's came through with excellent service from beginning to end. Sean Silcot with Rustys was great. He was very prompt to respond to my inoperative AC unit on same day and was very quick to diagnose the problem. Rusty's does excellent work and is very courteous. Spotted an issue with our fan motor and started and quickly got it repaired. Could have left us with no AC. Now runs good as new.

Rusty’s responded to a unique situation today, 6/3/25. We are 1800 miles from home, and the a/c shut down, so my mother in law had no cool air in the casita. This company did everything to ensure a tech was able to respond in a very short time. Sean their Senior tech, did an awesome job calming my mother in law down, and had our system fixed within a short time. He has been at our home once before, and is an expert technician, and a wonderful person. Rusty’s has been great to come do maintenance every six months on our furnace and air conditioning unit so that it’s always ready to go for when the weather changes. I recently bought a townhome in Mesa this past March. I knew the AC unit was old possibly the original. In May I had Rusty’s out to service the unit. The AC was working, but my tech was honest about its condition. He never tried scare tactics nor did he attempt to upsell me. I requested a quote for good, better, best replacement options. Richard came out that afternoon and wrote me up a quote on 3 options as well as spending time answering any questions and concerns I had. At no time did he pressure me to close the deal or again attempt to scare me into a new unit. I asked him to let me think on it over the weekend. He followed up on Monday and again no pressure and answered all my questions. Replacing an AC unit is a big expense, however, I was so impressed with everyone I had dealt with from Richard to Jeff in the office that I decided to move forward with a new Bosch VS package unit. Their price was more than fair (I shopped around) and they set me up for install within a few days. The process was seamless and they did everything they said they would do. Richard has also continued to answer any questions I have with a quick response and the answers I needed. It’s day 3 since the install and so far I am very happy with my decision. Thank you Richard, Caden, and Jeff along with the rest of the Rusty’s team for outstanding customer service, integrity, and honesty! The cherry on top was him putting on shoe covers when he entered our house; you don’t see a lot of repair techs doing that. We have found our AC company! We called Rusty’s for an estimate on replacing an old AC unit. Rusty came out and did a thorough inspection. We knew from having repairs done by other companies in previous years that our ductwork was not the greatest. Until Rusty completed his inspection and showed us pictures, we had no idea just how bad (and incorrect) our ductwork really was! We appreciated the pictures and we especially appreciated Rusty’s knowledge and honesty. On install day, the crew arrived on time, and they were great - very polite, and I really appreciated that they covered floors and area with drop cloths. We are already amazed in the difference the new ductwork makes when our AC is on. We highly recommend Rusty’s AC - Rusty, Sean and the whole crew were wonderful!

We came home on a Saturday to find not only was our air conditioner not working, it wouldn’t even turn on. I called several different air conditioning repair companies to find someone that would come out the same day. Some didn’t respond, some were closed until Monday, and some charged $80 on top of the cost of the repair to come out the same day. When I contacted Rusty’s Air Conditioning not only did they respond right away, they came out the same day and had a much lower fee. Sean and Caden found out what the problem was and repaired it very quickly. They also repaired something that had been installed incorrectly by another tech from a different company. We were very happy with the service Rusty’s provided and will definitely use them in the future.

Their guys came out and inspected and cleaned the outside of my unit and sent me videos of the entire process. No attempts at upsells or cross sells, no lying about the condition of the coils to generate more business, just good competent friendly service. Dealing with Rusty's is as refreshing and the cold air that pours out of my A/C unit. Did I forget to mention their low monthly charge for their maintenance service? Top notch AC service! My AC unit was not putting out cold air. I had initially contacted 2 other AC Service businesses who were more interested in selling me a new AC unit (at a cost of $6500 to $10K) than trying to repair my existing one. In fact, they tried to encourage me not to spend money on repairing due to the age of the unit and did not offer or said it would be a waste of my money to have a technician look at it. However, Jeff, at Rusty's AC encouraged me to have a technician diagnose the problem stating it could eaaily be an issue that was repairable.
I agreed and he put me on schedule to look at it the same day. The technician, Sean, was able to come earlier due to a change of his schedule. He was very professional and considerate. After describing the problem he immediately began the diagnosis process. Once turning the AC unit on he knew what the problem was ... he didn't hear the compressor. I immediately thought my unit was "toast" but Sean was encouraging by stating it could be something simple. He completed his diagnosis, and then told (and also showed) me how the capacitors were the problem. I asked how much to repair, he quoted me a price and I agreed to have him repair it. Considerably less expensive than replacing with a new unit (less than $500). After completing the repair, we turned it on and it worked beautifully!

I had my AC unit replaced and return added. I work in HVAC so I knew what I wanted. They quoted what I wanted and didn’t try to upsell. Rusty’s was great! They don’t use sales guys which is a plus. An actual tech shows up. Install crew was clean and professional. Really really good work. They didn’t miss a thing. They don’t cut corners. I went up to the attic myself and am very impressed. Didn’t leave any trash. Left my house better than when arrived. Use Rusty’s AC I highly recommend them. Ask for Richard as your tech!

We were searching for additional quotes to replace our HVAC system and randomly picked Rusty’s since they were local. They were highly responsive to our request for a quote. During the quote they inspected all aspects of our current installation, took videos in our attic to better demonstrate what they would replace, and spent a lot of time answering our questions. We’ve used our current HVAC service provider for 7 years, but Rusty’s demonstrated a transparency factor that we hadn’t experienced from our other provider. They were very competitive on price and gave me comfort that I’ll be dealing with the owner and a small number of techs vs the revolving door of techs and the constant marketing and sales pushes of a mega-provider. 10/10 would recommend Rusty’s.

Rusty’s was very straight forward and priced much better than our other 2 quotes. The tech was informative and knowledgeable. The whole process was smooth and easy, and we got a great quality Lennox unit at a great price!

I had an HVAC service plan through another provider. The other provider, which shall remain nameless, came out to do the seasonal heating tune-up, discovered a coil leak in the air handler. Even though the parts were covered, through the 10 year manufacturer warranty we have & the discount we get for having a service plan through them, the estimate to replace the coil was $3200. I called Rusty's for a 2nd opinion. We have a rental and I remembered they recently were called by our property manager and their emergency/after hours repair, was very reasonable. Rusty's came out the next day and without asking to see the other company's bid, gave us a bid, again w/ the part being covered under the manufactures warranty & a parts discount for signing up for a service plan ($300) their bid was <$1800 to do the repair. I promptly contacted the other company, who said they could not even come close to matching that bid & that they couldn't understand how the work could be done for such a lesser amount. The other vendor did refund the service plan, as a gesture of good faith, which allowed me to sign up for the new service plan through Rusty's and then get the work done for half of the cost of the other vendor. Then Rusty's did the seasonal tune-up and found that the 2nd unit air handler had not likely been serviced, as there was still fuzz on the coils, which the service called for rinsing the coils with water. Rusty's is honest, reasonable, responsive & takes care of their clients. What more could you ask for? Thank you so much for your help with this repair & we look forward to having you service our HVAC systems & handle any future repairs!

After dealing with a different company for several weeks to fix a cooling issue I had I had finally had enough and called Rusty's. It was the best call I ever made after just 45 minutes of being here they fixed the issue. Customer for life now. And their techs were very friendly and the customer service was great.

We have worked with Rusty's twice now. Both times they were able to get someone out same day. The prices are reasonable and the techs have been extremely helpful/knowledgeable.
