Alex did a great job replacing existing attic ventilation fans with the latest smart fan technology. He was on time, very courteous and efficient. He kept me appraised of his progress and helped me set up the app to control the fans.

I interviewed 4 roofing companies to replace my 25+ year old cedar shake roof with high end composite shingles. I accepted the RoofSmart bid that was the second most expensive for the work to be performed due to their superior technical communication about roof ventilation, gutter slope issues, common roof replacement issues, shingle options and a thorough assessment of my roof unrivaled by the other bidders. Our neighbors tree fell on our house causing damage to our roof.

We had just had our roof replaced by Roof Smart a few years ago. We called them again to come take a look at the damage.

They sent Brody out right away and examined the damage he sent was able to send us an estimate and assisted with the insurance process.

When we received approval from the insurance company to have the roof repaired. Brody and his crew came out almost immediately and repaired our roof.

I had a leak around one of my metal chimneys on our home. I contacted George at Roofsmart because he has helped me over the years, primarily at my veterinary hospital. He was able to get a technician out in just a few days. The roofing tech, Alex Garcia, was really helpful and fixed the flashing on bother our chimneys. He explained everything carefully and did a very thorough job. And he offered to clean the gutter while up on the roof. This gutter is 35 feet in the air, and a real challenge to clean.Very impressed!

Reroofing a house is not a project most dream of doing. However, our experience with RoofSmart was extraordinary from start to finish, despite having a couple of bumps along the way.

Our estimator/meticulous roofing nerd, Lisa, was knowledgable, thorough and fun to work with. She asked excellent questions, inspected the attic and roof to clearly assess its condition. We've worked with RoofSmart on two projects at our house - a balcony/rooftop deck rebuild and replacing the roof on our garage. We've been happy with their work in both cases - prompt, communicative, and responsive, with quality work done.

From start to finish our experience with RoofSmart was exceptional. From the initial appointment with Annette who performed a comprehensive site survey and provided a detailed scope of work and quote to the installation by Pedro and his crew we couldn't be more pleased with RoofSmart's service.

We began our roof replacement search by initially visiting the Tacoma Home and Garden show to screen roofing companies. From there we had a total of 9 proposals from which we chose RoofSmart. Our existing roof was a 30 year old cedar shake roof which was in need of replacement due to its age. For insurance reasons and cost we chose to look at composition roofing as the replacement. We had a variety of proposals with different companies proposing different manufacturers composition roofing materials. In the end, it was RoofSmart's comprehensive proposal which addressed not just the roof replacement but also the ventilation of the attic spaces which is very different for cedar shake versus composition. Annette's willingness to spend the time helping to educate us on the topic of ventilation and its importance to performance of the roof and health of the home was a major factor in our choice of RoofSmart.

Once we made our decision to go with RoofSmart, the implementation by Pedro and his crew went extremely smoothly. The crew was professional and detailed, taking care to protect our property and cleaning up the work site daily. They brought to our attention some rot on our barge boards and at our request replaced the affected areas. All in all they did an exceptional job.

Post installation follow-up by Omar to make sure the job was completed to our satisfaction and by Julie to register our warranty and provide timely billing were also appreciated.

They "Nailed it".

I approached RoofSmart to get a bid to replace the roof on my home because of the radio commercial I had heard featuring Jim Singleterry advancing the pro's which they could provide, and his arguments for why you might not want to have just the lowest-cost solution. Jim sounded like someone I could trust with this very important task. Their very knowledgeable rep, Chris Koenig, came out to perform a thorough inspection of my home and roof, and provided detailed explanation of what he thought should be done to provide a long-lasting roof with improved ventilation, and a detailed estimate of the cost. Chris used a drone to take aerial photos of the roof and to document the special work that should be done. I was convinced that I wanted to proceed with RoofSmart. Within days, I was contacted by Andrew Magnani in the Project Managment department, to schedule a date to get the project underway. Andrew helped confirm that I had made the right decision, and later kept me apprised that the start date would be shifted out by a day because of the rainy weather that we had been experiencing. On the day that we had agreed to start the work, I met Francisco who pulled up with a truck to haul away the old roofing material that was being removed. Francisco even delivered the porta-potty that was onsite during the job to be available to the roofers if they needed. When the crew arrived, Crew Leader Carlos Nunez introduced himself to me, and I knew if I had any questions I could talk with Carlos. As the roofing replacement was underway, there were three bathroom ventilation fans under the roof which were previously incorrectly vented, which the RoofSmart team rerouted above the roof with proper industry-leading vents. When a question arose, I received a phone call from Project Manager Omar Moran who assured me that everything I was concerned with would be taken care of and that the experienced team had done this many times before. As the team uncovered unforeseen wood that should be replaced, simple verbal change requests were agreed, and the work was completed. Katie Willoughby in the Billing Department pleasantly helped me start and complete the business side of this project. I am completely satisfied and delighted with the resulting replacement of my home's roof, and I know I made the right decision to proceed with RoofSmart.

Our experience with Roofsmart was terrific from start to finish. The estimator was thorough and friendly. Explained in detail everything needing to be done and answering all our questions and concerns. The installation crew was also friendly and professional. Work was expertly completed, a comprehensive report sent that verified roof to be in good condition and now everything clean and like new appearance . Alex with Roofsmart was here at my home this afternoon cleaning our asphalt shingle roof and applying moss killer. He says a day like today with intermittent light rain is a good day for the application of moss treatment. The many trees surrounding my home shed a lot of needles, twigs and even branches onto the roof. Alex did a thorough job of blowing everything off the roof and removing it from the premises.

I really appreciate the work Alex did on our roof recently. He took his time and did a very thorough job of cleaning and tarping our roof. We have a cedar shake roof so this was no quick and easy matter. He was also polite and professional and did a great job cleaning up when he was done. I've had a lot of issues recently finding anyone willing to work let alone do a good job so I really appreciate the time and effort Alex put forth.

This company is incredible. I found them online, I was searching for a company I could trust after a previous subpar roof installation. Jim is fantastic; he educated me about building science and provided me with solutions. The installers were very professional, and they cleaned up after themselves. The pictures provided before, during, and after the job were informative. This is a great example of how a service company should operate.

My roof was damaged by a fallen branch during a wind storm. It did structural damage and we ended up needing to have the entire roof replaced. I had received quotes from 3 vendors that varied, the last quote being from RoofSmart which we ended up choosing. Chris was quite thorough inspecting the attic in addition to the outside roof. (Some companies didn't even go in the attic). Chris explained the venting so that I would no longer need the attic fan and the quality of materials that they use. Carlos was the crew lead who was professional, polite and diligent at pointing out and fixing problem areas. We ended up needing additional sheets of wood and Carlos and his crew worked extra hard to ensure that our project was done well. Omar was our project manager and he communicated with us every step of the way-keeping us updated and informed. We appreciated the extra effort he took to ensure that things were handled correctly. As with most projects, there are unexpected turns and things that can get missed but he ensured that everything got taken care of in a timely way and was truly accountable for this project. So many times there are always a few odds and ends that need taking care of at the end of a project and it is nearly impossible to get the contractor back, but NOT in this case, how refreshing! From the extra lumber, gutters (downspouts), and cleanup to pointing out potential areas of concern not relating to the roof, we appreciate taking the extra time to care. Our new roof looks great but more importantly, what's underneath the roof is fixed too. We highly recommend RoofSmart.

Working with RoofSmart was the best contractor experience I've had in 55 years of home ownership. RoofSmart is the most professional contractor imaginable. After a rave recommendation from a friend, a call to RoofSmart to set up an appointment resulted in a representative being at our house three hours later (other companies either didn't return my calls or waited a week to do so). The representative, Will, did a thorough job of introducing us to RoofSmart and checking out our roof. Two days later he returned with a comprehensive review of what he'd found in terms of things to be fixed and upgraded. The price was a bit more than we expected, but our confidence that RoofSmart would do the work right made any premium (if there really was one - we never got an estimate from another company) worth paying. The roof replacement was done on schedule, with the only additional work the replacement of some plywood panels, which we expected might happen. The crew, led by Carlos, worked each day until it was so dark that they had to quit. Carlos kept us up-to-date on what they had done and any problems.

In short, I recommend RoofSmart completely and whole-heartedly. You cannot go wrong with this company.

Top Notch Company. We were impressed that Jim inspected our roof and made suggestions on how to improve our overall roofing structure. Jim emphasized the stability of the company and that they pay their workers a good wage in order to retain the expertise and excellency of their workers. We also had a problem area on the roof, that they took care of by routing the water away to drain properly.

Great experience with roof replacement and attic remediation. It was a big project and the crew lead (Jose) did a super job keeping it on track. He and his crew were professional and helpful. The project manager (Omar) was very responsive to changes required as the job progressed.

RoofSmart is a wonderful roofing company, what a terrific job they did on our house! We have quite a complex roof and they made some changes to improve it. The metal roofing is high quality and just the color green we wanted. Chris Koenig contacted us when we put our name on Angie's List. We are so glad he did. Pedro was the chief for the work crew. The crew worked hard 6 days a week, rain or shine. Very efficient, friendly too. Omar visited after they were done to make sure the work was done to the RoofSmart standard. Payments were made efficiently on our computer. We felt comfortable with the whole process.

We have a roofer that placed the Titanium underlayment on our roof and then disappeared for about two months. Our general contractor just recently got ahold of him and now the roofer promises to come back to install the roof. Our house is in the mountains where we have had a lot of snow and my concern was that the sub roof structure did not suffice to keep out moisture. I decided to call the largest roofer in the area to learn the facts. I made the call two days before Christmas, punched 3 for customer service, and Will answered the phone on the first ring. He was knowledgeable and courteous and quickly explained to me what the sub roof did - it can in fact act as a roof for up to 6 months and still maintain its warranty. I couldn't get a straight answer from my GC and I couldn't locate the roofer myself and I thought it was fantastic that RoofSmart was accessible and was happy to give me the lowdown to put my mind at ease. What great service. Will will definitely be my first call the next time we need a roof.

Annette at RoofSmart has asked me to do a review. When Annette and Chris came out to my house to inspect and give me a quote I really didn't know what to expect. The first company that came out just looked at the roof and skylights and gave me a ballpark quote and left. Annette and Chris came into my house and physically went up into my attic and all over the outside and checked out my roof and skylights. Then we all went into my house and sat at the table and explained everything to my wife and I. A couple of weeks later Jose and his crew replaced over 14 boards and did a lot of extra stuff due to the discovery of a lot of dry rot etc. that I was not aware of. They really did a bang up job. We've been putting off this major reroof/attic ventilation & insulation project for years, but RoofSmart helped us finally make it happen. Based on our experience, we would definitely recommend RoofSmart!

Annette started things off by dedicating a LOT of time and effort into providing us with an extremely detailed proposal for this wide scope of work. During that process, she helped guide us on some elements of the project we were less sure about (such as options to consider for enhancing our attic ventilation or considerations for skylights versus solar tubes) and caught a variety of items that the other bids we received made no mention of (meaning they either wouldn't have been done OR would have come with a mid-project change order). Annette was amazing.

Jose was our foreman once the work was under way, and it was great working with him and his team. We have three adults (at home most days), a toddler and two indoor cats, but in spite of all the work going on we never felt like we had to hide away in the basement or live/work elsewhere for the week. There were also surprisingly few curveballs that came up during the project (again, nice detailed work up front by Annette!) and the only big "change order" was something that both Annette and Jose warned us could come up, so it wasn't a surprise: additional sheathing boards were identified as needing replacement once the old roof was removed. When some potential revisions came up to some of the original details, Jose walked us through our options and answered all of our questions.

Once the work was generally complete, Omar did a final walk with us to make sure we were 100% satisfied (and also to make sure everything was completed to HIS satisfaction!) and scheduled a team to come out to resolve a couple last punch items.

Finally, Andrew and Katie at the RoofSmart office helped us with scheduling and close-out, including answering a good number of additional questions from us.

I had an idea the roof might need to be replaced. Caleb and Jim came to inspect my roof and showed me the areas that needed to be addressed. They gave me options of just fixing those items or replacing the roof. I opted to replace my roof with a metal roof. I was also looking at extending my garage at the same time which they were also able to do for me. I could not be happier with both projects. Had our garage -and attached breezeway with mold issue- re-roofed and couldn't be happier. RoofSmart did all the roofing work, and coordinated with another company for mold remediation, and put it all on a single bill for us. We just had our roof replaced by RoofSmart. These guys are top notch to say the least! The work ethic and attention to detail was commendable. Pedro was the foreman on site. His crew was run like a finely tuned machine. The sheet metal work done with the flashing looks like an artist did the job. Any identified problems or details were promptly and thoroughly addressed. The cleanup when the job was done was impeccable. They were the highest bid, but by comparison, it was worth the investment.

Any home remodeling/repair, big or small, can be a major disruption (and expense) for the homes inhabitants. Realizing that, I set out to find a local roofing company that understands all of the concerns a homeowner has when embarking on a big project - we needed the entire thing (decking,etc) removed and replaced.
I shopped around, had some bids and no one made me feel as confident and comfortable about this project like Will of Roofsmart did.
I followed Will around as he got up in the attic and inspected every nook and cranny- took tons of pictures, went on roof - took measurements and tons of pictures. Then he sat down with us and explained in detail everything they would need to do, the cost of everything, the materials they offer, the process of applying those materials, what the home owner needs to do to prepare for (noise, securing breakables, covering areas that will temporarily be exposed) , answer any questions and concerns and finally, reveal the total project cost (which was fair and competitive).
Before the crew arrived, Omar (project manager) introduced me to Jose, the crew lead, to go over any final details/concerns.
The crew...I cannot say enough about the crew. Four guys that are respectful of property, are efficient and highly skilled. They worked as one. Stellar work ethic. Do what needs to be done fast and efficient. Major props to these guys...and Will, Omar and Andrew. Everyone was so accommodating and understanding.
There is the right way to do things and a wrong one. It's your roof- everything flows downward- it needs to be done the right way.

Hired these guys to fix a few leaks I had in my house, they recommended a new roof would fix the issues. $18,000 later and not one of the three leaks stopped. They then said it was actually my siding and chimney and I should have known that. They also said they could fix it for a great price, almost $9000 more but that wouldn’t include the chimney. Jim came out as a representative of the company after I called upset that I had spent so much money and got no issues resolved only to tell me how great they did on the roof and it wasn’t their fault as they can only guess where damage might be. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself issues 6 month down the road.

Edit. The other issues (siding and chimney) were not mentioned during the original talk, it wasn’t until after I called you guys back after the new roof didn’t help that you then mentioned it. And the quote for the siding was another $8,000+ for you guys to guess as you “can’t see through walls”

Omar & the crew were great. Start to finish they were professional & dedicated to the job. They cleaned up each night & took care of our plants. They addressed each concern or question we had & even pointed out issues other companies did not. We would definitely recommend this crew to our friends. When we're ready for more exterior work they will be our first call.

Brandon Theinert came to give us a bid on a failing roof. He was prompt, efficient and thorough. He correctly identified an underlaying issue of improperly installed insulation that wasn't allowing the roof to vent properly. He considered solutions and included them in his bid, walking us through the process and what would be involved. His bid was the most thorough, detailed and competitive of all the bids we received, and we chose to accept it. He was able to schedule the work three weeks later, and his crews did an excellent job. They were also prompt and efficient. We are very pleased with the result, and would recommend Brandon and his crews to friends and family.

Roof Smart roofing did a quick and efficient job on my double wide manufactured home. Only booking a month prior they were able to acquire all materials/supplies needed for the job. Let alone that once they arrived at the job site, it only took their crew of 5 to replace over 25 sheets of plywood, and metal roof my entire house in only two days! Omar the project manager was very respectful and honest which is all i was looking for in a roofing company! I highly recommend using this company if you are willing to pay a little extra for quality work.

I Rarely do reviews, however I feel my experience with Roofsmart deserves one. From the very beginning with the estimate and throughout the processes everyone was friendly and professional. The estimate showed the required building codes and links to sites such as L and I to check their amount of covered employees. This transparency is very important to me as I work in the construction industry and understand its importance. I was having an older shake roof removed and a composition roof put back on so there were areas that needed to be upgraded to meet current building codes. I will say, Roofsmart was not the cheapest estimate I received as I had 6 different companies give me estimates, but they were the most thorough and forthright. Once the roofing began, it wasn't without a few issues, however when I brought them to their attention, they immediately remedied the problem without any complaints or nastiness. After the work was completed, I had an issue with a vent pipe and again, they were very responsive. Overall, I have no problem giving Roofsmart a 5 star review and will happily refer them to others. I will add that I am a very hands on person and I did climb onto my roof to examine it as well as I checked on what was going on numerous times throughout the work.

After getting a quote from another company that was more expensive and would be able to get to it in TEN MONTHS, we went with RoofSmart in Auburn, WA. The salesman, Will, was very attentive to our needs and said they could get to it in 3 WEEKS. Then, they moved us up to 1 WEEK. The workers were here by 7:30 to 7:45 am so they could start promptly at 8:00 (coming from an hour+ away each day). They worked tirelessly until it was too dark to see. The company's project manager, Omar, was very helpful and answered all my questions and concerns during the job. I can't recommend them any more highly than 5 starts or I would. This company will do everything they can to serve their customer right. Good job, RoofSmart!

I would highly recommend this business for your roof, repairs or replacement. All of the employees were very courteous and willing to go above and beyond for their customer. The gentleman who inspected my roof and made suggestions was very gracious. The crew who worked on my property, were efficient, extremely fast, friendly, and on time. Each night before they went home, the crew insured, my property was protected from the rain, and that all garbage had been picked up from their daily work. There were a couple of times where they stayed and worked until late to ensure the safety of my home came first . The project manager was awesome! If I ever needed anything or had any questions, he was quick to find out and call me back. Whenever I contacted the office, Katie was very cordial and went out of her way to find the answers to my questions.

This is one of the most professional companies we had give us a quote. While others gave excuses for late quotes, roofsmart delivered. The team that installed the roof were extremely fast and professional, the gutter team heard us out and did what was needed. Overall I felt very confident with our choice and would absolutely use them again, although, I don't think we will need to thanks to the beautiful roof that they installed that'll last us a while. We got quotes from four different companies, including RoofSmart. Though most seemed competent, RoofSmart stood out in terms of technical knowledge, product quality, project management, and price. The roof is now two months installed and we couldn't be happier with our choice. I can't remember the last time I saw a crew work that hard - those guys are machines! They took care of all the little details. They did a great job cleaning up after and just making sure everything was done right. We are extremely pleased with the work of Roof Smart and would highly recommend using them for your roofing needs. They set up a first visit promptly and Jim did a good job explaining what work needed to be done and how to do it. They did not try to oversell us and the quoted price was reasonable given the other quotes we received. We filled out paperwork for financing (they have a 12 month, good as cash plan), and had us approved that evening! They were able to start work within a relatively short timeframe. The crew was efficient, professional, highly skilled and worked hard and diligently. They even brought their own portable bathroom facility for the crew. The grounds were left extraordinarily neat, and the landscaping remained fully intact. When we had a few questions afterward, they sent someone immediately to our house to answer them. About two weeks later, we noticed a watermark on our bedroom ceiling along one of the seams. We wrote to Roof Smart and we had a crew at our house within several hours! They thoroughly inspected the roof, removed some and then replaced the shingles and assured us find nothing that would cause it. We decided mutually that we would wait and see if anything got worse. Then unexpectedly, 4 days later, another crew from Roof Smart came to our door to fix the ceiling (we thought we would just need to paint it ourselves). They were very neat and covered everything in plastic, they fixed a bit of the wallboard and repainted that part of the ceiling. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the very quick responsiveness and helpfulness of the company and the care the crew took.

John was the first bidder that I met. He walked me through the process of how the new roof is being done. He showed me how to check the company background to make sure the company is good before I choose which company to go with. He is a caring, nice and sincere person. I met a few more bidders from other companies. None of them is like John. They were very pushy. All they wanted me to do is to sign a contract with them. My mother got sick during the time that I needed a new roof. I told John that I need to take care of my mom. I need to put my project on hold. He was very understanding and patience. I knew that John is a very nice person so I chose his company. I got to talk to Heidi (John’s wife) and Katie for the payment plan. They were very nice, helpful and friendly. I got to meet the 5 roofers on the day the new roof is being installed . They were so nice. They told me that they will finish my roof in 1 day which I didn’t really believe. I thought it would take 2 days to finish the roof. I came home from work and I was so surprised that they finished the work. I got my new roof which I absolutely love and they cleaned up everything. There was no mess around the house. They even cleaned my gutters for me. I absolutely love this company and I will recommend Roof Smart to my families and friends.

Quality workmanship, professional installation, crew was outstanding, on time working through the cold weather even after it had snowed on the moisture barrier that they made sure to lay down the first day. Would gladly recommend this company for your roofing needs.

These guys are amazing! Jim did an excellent, educated initial inspection and discussed my ideas thoroughly. Then Nestor and the crew came. They tore off an old roof and installed a new metal one in TWO DAYS! A third day was spent finishing things up and installing gutter guards. They also installed insulation and some beautiful skylights - in winter! The roof is classy and really well done (we have worked in the industry and recognize quality work). The skylights are fabulous. The crew all knew their stuff and were friendly. There was minimal mess when they had finished. I HIGHLY recommend RoofSmart for roofing, especially metal roofing, in the Seattle/Tacoma area.

Very observant survey noting issues other companies missed. Also addressed changes other companies would not support. We're very satisfied with the final work and overall schedule was as estimated. Great new look going from cedar shake to composite. Crews very efficient and everything installed as specified.
