We are very pleased with our experience with ResCom from start to finish. The sales agent Danny was friendly and knowledgeable, instilling confidence in their products and service from the beginning. Communications with the project manager Quinn were frequent and professional, while scheduling the work. The installers, Cristian Rosas and Kyle Woodward, were fantastic - arriving on time, working diligently, and keeping us apprised of what had been completed each day and what was left to do. They were polite, kind, skilled, and clearly took pride in their work, paying attention to details and cleaning up after themselves. The new cable railings and deck "picture-framing" installed by ResCom are beautiful and definitely improve our home's view and value.

We contracted rescom to replace / repair our upper and lower deck railings in addition to repairs that may be revealed during the replacement. They were high touch and thorough in spec’ing out the plans, communicating timeline / delays, and in their execution. Their main guy at our site, Christian, was excellent. He had very high attention to detail, particularly in accommodating our custom woodwork around the house, and made good recommendations as to integrating the new railing with the existing architecture.

It was a pleasure working with them, and was money well spent. Although potentially not the cheapest, it was worth knowing that it would be done well and on time. They clearly take pride in their execution, and would use them again. Thanks Christian and team!

Josh did a wonderful job installing our front and garage hand railing. He was very knowledgeable and walked us through the whole process. Great work!

Danny's recommendations about the type of railings that best fit our needs was right on target. And Cristian did a beautiful job of installing our ASD Picket Railing and Gate with magnetic latch. Cristian ensured there were no sharp metal edges and very thorough clean up.

I highly recommend Rescom Railing. We hired them to replace our wooden railings that were peeling, moldy, and just looking terrible. Their entire team was very professional and the job was completed efficiently. The lead installer, Chris, was wonderful. He found that the stringers under the stairs were completely rotten. He and the other installers were able to get the stringers fixed in just 2 days so the project stayed on schedule. He also helped me make last-minute design decisions when some minor changes needed to be made. Overall, the whole experience was great. The new railings look amazing and update the entire look of the house. Our neighbors can’t stop complementing us on the new aluminum railings. I’m so happy with our new low-maintenance railings!! Worth every penny!

We hired this company to redo the interior stairs railings in our split-level home to accommodate the needs of some family members who require something firmer. The railings we replaced were the original ones since the house was built in '76, so not only was this an update for our needs, it was also an upgrade from the '70s look with something more modern. This project also brought the railings into compliance with newer building codes.

The end result is a beautiful and sturdy railing. While it took a lot of careful building, it fulfilled all our requirements to a T. The specialist that was assigned to the project, Steve Kristek, did an outstanding job. He is extremely personable and clearly an old hand at these kinds of projects. He showed great passion in his work, and it showed in the end result!

Just finished our deck railing and had a great experience. We were able to get on the schedule sooner than expected so that was a pleasant surprise. Our crew, Cristian and Landyn were both very friendly, easy to discuss with, professional and hard working. Quinn was responsive and was able to schedule a very prompt appointment with our field manager Edwin, who was very knowledgeable. After the initial sale (paying 50%), it did take me reaching out after 11 days of not hearing anything back (was told someone should reach out in a few business days). Prior to that I had been assigned to a different project manager, so not sure if there was some confusion/issue there. That was the only issue we had. Our deck looks great and we installed removable corner poles for string light which will be a nice addition that would have taken us a lot more effort to do on our own.

Our sales rep Cary White was very timely and thorough on options and pricing. The field crew is Christian and Landon were extremely professional and helpful when asked questions on install and maintenance. Our project mgr Quinn was ALWAYS quick to answer questions and arrange schedule changes. Great team. Great experience from start to finish.

Excellent experience - estimator was clearly qualified to assess the situation as the job wasn't entirely straightforward. Communication was maintained throughout waiting period through use of convenient web site. (The only criticism relates to timing - after receiving the estimate, the wait time for installation was a number of months, which would not be appropriate for jobs needing completion right away.) Installer (Cristian) did a superb job - efficient, professional, and final product is excellent in appearance and function.

First, some background information. We hired an independent contractor to install railings on the front steps of our house last November (2023). He promised to have the railings installed within 3 weeks so that my mother, who is mobility-impaired, would have them to use when she came out for Christmas. It took him 8 weeks and the result was a shoddy, ugly mess that wasn’t even up to code. My mother was forced to climb our back stairs for most of her visit which was very difficult and tiring for her. This guy never showed up when he said he would even after repeated phone calls, didn’t clean up the dirt he dug up, and left concrete splatters all over our front steps. We hired ResCom because we couldn’t stand what the first contractor did. The ResCom workers, Christian and Christopher, dismantled the ugly railings and built a stunning set of railings within TWO DAYS! Their craftsmanship was superb and they cleaned up every speck of their messes before they left. We are ECSTATIC about the result and can’t recommend them highly enough. You won’t be sorry if you hire them. Their parent company is “People Come First” and boy do they keep their promise!

Master Decks and Rescom worked together to upgrade our wraparound deck. They replaced the stairs and deck fascia and completely replaced all railings. We also added a decorative privacy screen. We are very happy with the result! Both teams were professional and neat and Quinn, Cristian and Steve gave us progress updates daily.

This is a strange review because I never hired this company BUT I am writing this review anyway to thank Cary. This man went above and beyond to help me. My project wasn’t right for the company because of stuff on my end but he was informative, patient and kind.

Steve was very professional and has excellent customer service. I had glass rails installed at my home and he made sure every step and part of install went smooth and communicated very well. Highly recommend Steve and Rescom railing for any outdoor or indoor rail replacement jobs.

I’ve had great results from ResCom in the past so I called again for a lower level railing system. Christen was 5 stars from start to finish. He kept me informed about everything all the time. Once again, I’ll be calling ResCom if I have another project. !!.

3 years later and the cable railing and system is great! I set a reminder in my calendar to come back and post a review based on actual use. I've only had to tighten one cable over the past 3 years, and that was about 1 full turn. I love the low visibility of the cables and when I have people over in the summer time, I get comments on how much they like it.
Even when we had to adjust the original design just slightly, they talked through the idea and made sure both my wife and I understood the two options. I kind of wish I had another deck to build. ;)

Extremely good communication from beginning to end. Good work and they even cleaned up the garage roof of leaves. Very pleasant workers and it looks great!

The guys who came to put the railing system were very much on time, pleasant and did a wonderful job. Will recommend to anyone who is thinking of putting a railing system.

5 stars. Rescom is making a system wide effort to improve their communications and customer service. The owner contacted us directly and asked for us to give him/them another chance. We did. Their quality product remains. Their communication and service is much improved. We will reach out to them next time we need railings.

2 stars…ResCom does quality work but their communication and service is horrible. Their sales person was great, but then the project is handed off to the guys that install and fabricate and they were extremely difficult - not responding to emails and calls. We will not be working with them on future projects.

We needed a railing on our front steps to provide stability for a disabled family member. I found ResCom Railing in a local magazine after trying 3 other contractors who failed for various reasons.

I'd like to give ResCom 5 stars, but we had some challenges with communication before they started the project (which I've already addressed with them). Plus, it took quite some time to get a start date due to the number of jobs they had going on at the time.

The final work came out better than I expected, even after some challenges that were beyond anyone's control. The railing looks great. It is strong and sturdy. Cristian was on time, very professional, and attuned to details. It was pleasant to work with him. I'm very pleased with the results.

Overall, they're one of the good contractors. I'd use them again.

Hunter and Josh (May) did a fantastic job turning our wood railing into a cable railing in less than 5 hours! Quinn was a great communicator and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend ResCom for your railing needs.

RESCOM showed up earlier than originally estimated and installed railings on the steps in our outside walkway so we could meet King County Code.

I met with Cary White for a staircase railing estimate. He provided a comprehensive assessment of what would work for my project, showed samples to help me make the decision, and outlined the costs and expectations in detail. Thanks for helping to make the decision easy!

The estimator was very personable as well as helpful in getting the best price. Our small project cost about 40% less than local contractors quoted. We were hesitant about the 90-120 day predicted wait, but that ended up being only about 60 days. The rail looks great! Installer was on time, skilled, and careful about our property. The HOA architectural committee was very impressed with our porch rail and has kept the company’s contact information for future inquiries that may occur.

Excellent customer service! I couldn't be happier with my railing. It looks exactly as I wanted. Installers Codey and Dennis were fast, professional, and were respectful of my place, making sure they kept things clean as they worked through the install.

ResCom Railing was doing a railing project for our neighbors and we asked them to come look at finishing the railing on our rooftop deck. There were some challenges to work with to tie into the existing railing sections. Dennis looked at it and quickly came up with a solution that met all of our goals. Cristian and his crew (Codey and Chris) installed a new patio deck and custom polycarbonate roof for us. The quality of the construction was excellent and the crew paid great attention to details. Cristian maintained a constant line of communication and asked for our input on some small details to make sure they matched our preferences. As the project neared completion, we found one architectural detail that, although built exactly to the specifications, was not ideal aesthetically in our view. Cristian came up with a clever solution and Steve Kristek approved the additional materials and work at no additional cost to us.

I feel that this is a well-organized, professional company that is determined to keep their customers satisfied.

We replaced a 20-year old wood front porch railing that was failing and also added a code compliant handrail to the entry steps of our house. This wasn't a big job, but it was important to us and is highly visible and essential that it look great. The installation crew of Dennis and Aaron provided us with the best home improvement experience we've had in our 30 years in this house. From calling the day before to announce the time of their arrival and then actually showing up at that time to their final cleanup of the site, their courtesy and professionalism was apparent. The products themselves are top quality and our experience with ResCom was very good.

Cary, Steven and Quinn helped me figure out what I needed, got materials ordered, and clearly communicated the How and When of the project, always ensuring I knew when/where everything was.

When it came to demolition, Hunter and Codey did it in record time and except for missing my railings, there was no evidence they'd even been here, they took such great care. Yet they also did it in what I thought to be record time.

The very next day, as was scheduled, Dennis, Codey and Chris showed up right on time. And despite the two decks being large in size and painfully awkward to get to, they knocked it out of the park! They had a system down that let them run through the entire installation in less than a day, which I seriously thought impossible.

Like I started the review with, the ENTIRE process was actually entirely positive and it took all of the stress out of this major investment. My place looks tons better, and a neighbor even almost cried when I showed it to her, not believing it. THANKS!

Overall, Cristian and Cody did an excellent job installing my deck cable railing professionally. They showed up on time and cleaned up really well at the end of the day. Everything was fine except the railings. I don’t remember at the time of the initial estimate that I was given a choice about the railings and how they were going to be installed on the stairs. I got a phone call from the installer asking about how I wanted them done, and not being there I chose the one that was no extra cost. When I got home from work , I found out that the space between the rails was smaller than before. I just wish I would have had the knowledge before at the time of the estimate. Otherwise, I’m happy with everything else.

ResCom installed the railing on our new composite deck. We ordered the railing up front, and in spite of the delay to the deck construction, ResCom did a great job coordinating with our contractor. When time came to install the railing they did it professionally and on time. Costs were exactly as-quoted and competitive with other places we received quotes from. ResCom did have a better selection of railing design. We are happy we went with them.

Needed a small adjustment to a completely custom patio cover that ResCom built for us (which looks amazing). Dennis and Codey came out and totally handled it. ResCom did an excellent job removing the old railing from our steps and entry and installing new railing. The workers were on time, professional, and did whatever was needed to please. My only complaint would be the online Website used to schedule, plan, track, and receive payment for the job. I found it to be difficult to navigate and the payment system was totally confusing. Otherwise, the actual work at the jobsite was excellent. The final result was also excellent.

Codey and Dennis were fantastic professional from beginning to end. They were easy to communicate with via call & text. We checked in our installation a couple of times throughout the 2-day installation, and they always made time to answer any questions.

My RESCOM experience exceeded my expectations!! From the beginning to end, everyone was professional and helpful. I cannot say enough about Evan the installation technician. He worked is some of the most uncomfortable, cold and wet conditions. The 70 foot rail was part of a terracing project in our back yard. The rail looks great, feels VERY sturdy, and most important, provides a security barrier to an 8 ft drop that we did not have before the installation. GREAT JOB!!!
