We were recommended rocky mountain restoration by our exceptional plumber but unfortunately with our experience we will never again use this company nor recommended. We had a leak in our master bathroom that lead into our son's room. The first initial visit seemed promising as we had Justin come out and explain the whole process but our next visit with Markell is the reason for the low review. The main one which i had to have several conversations with and even leave work so I could show him was in our son's room. The water had damaged the carpet and the baseboards. He removed that but continued to refused to remove the wood panels that was attached to the baseboard which was bowing out due to the damage of the baseboard.  I spoke with other employees trying to get someone new to come out due to the frustrations and miscommunication but never received a phone call back. Finally after telling him over and over I just want my son's room fixed as it was before he agreed to remove it which took less than 30 seconds to do.  Also we had to go through and pick up several nails the had been left in the wall after they were done. Again this is why I personally would never use rocky mountain restoration or recommended them to anyone.

The work was fine. The communication was trash. They’d go days at a time without monitoring the machines. You’d think a company, that offered absolutely no cost transparency (even though I asked multiple times over the course of the process) and took 4 days to send a complete invoice, would wait more than 1 night (yes, not even 24 hours) to threaten to put a lien on the house. They did not.

Like so many others, a plumber referred us to Rocky Mountain Restoration. They were quick to respond....and ask about insurance, deductible, etc. They told me, "We'll handle everything for you!" I was shocked at their initial price and speaking with the adjuster, he also said he thought they were high. My final invoice was $800 more than it should have been...but was told, "That was an honest mistake!" I don't trust this company and feel they try to scam others and their insurance company.
Run from these folks!

Hi rocky mountain was amazing they came out and fixed my water damage inside my master bathroom and closet. Everything was done quick , the communcation was great- Darius and Brian were amazing. Anyone in the San Tan Valley area needs a restoration I recommend them awesome business.

Update: Rocky Mountain reached out to me to try and understand what happened. Cameron was very kind and seemed to genuinely care about the situation. He corrected the mistakes made. I was very impressed with their willingness to right the wrongs that were made.

We were recommended to use them by Robins Plumbing. Their representatives will lie to you to get you to sign their contract and then make you pay what your insurance won't cover because they inflate their prices so much. Completely unethical.

Rocky Mountain Restoration was recommended by the plumbing company we used to repair our leak. Logan was the first to come out and explain the process. He was professional and knowledgable. They set up their drying equipment and came by the home on a consistent basis checking on the status. They worked with our schedules and were prompt in getting back with me when I called. They are very busy people but were able to be available in our time of need.

BEWARE! If you are looking for someone to overpromise and underdeliver you have found your company. They showed up with the plumber. They state "we will handle everything" when they handle nothing and leave you to figure it out yourself. They did more damage trying to raise their bill than there was actual damage. They are a complete ambulance chaser. They find someone in need and exploit their situation. Their goal is to fleece your insurance company and make as much for themselves as they can. They can are less about you and your situation. However,they will follow up and follow up and follow up with you looking to get paid.

This was my 1st experience with restoration services after an Cu hot water supply broke between floors on a 2 story home. Initial response was quick and represented RMS well by Micheal. Then Markell's team came in and set up drying systems. Then Darius came to my house daily maintaining the equipment all brought in by 3 people. What all these individual did that was common is to constantly check moister levels. Darius also wrapped the onsite job up, and had worked all day this memorial day weekend 2025.

Darius, Markell, and Mike with Rocky Mountain Restoration were all awesome, professional, expedient, knowledgeable, and just all round great to work with. I had water damage, they were here in less than an hour and continue to keep working to get me working again.

Dealing with RMR was an uncomplicated experience.

The first crew arrived quickly after the initial contact. Juan removed damaged material and started the dry out in less than two hours.

Darius came two days later to check for dryness and remove the equipment. As with the first team, he was courteous and quite efficient in doing the necessary, then getting out of the way.

RMR seems to be a well-managed company with good communication and commitment to providing service and value. Thank you!

I am very disappointed with my experience with this scam company. They verbally quoted a price range of $10K–$20K, but later billed me $31K without providing any updated estimates or seeking approval. They also assured me there would be no issues with my insurance, which turned out to be false. My insurance company also found Rocky Mountain Restoration’s pricing to be well above industry standards and refused to cover the full $31K. Another company quoted $12K for the same work, and my insurance determined that a fair price is $23,859.46. I am misled and overcharged, and I cannot recommend them based on this experience.

Rocky Mountain Restoration tarped off some sections within my house when I was having a plumbing company do a full house re-pipe. Instead of using tape to attach the tarps to the ceilings and walls, they used a lot of thick construction staples which left large holes in the drywall that was not needing any repair. They would not patch the holes for me. Caused more damage than I had before the project.

I wanted to share my positive experience with Rocky Mountain Restoration once again. We recently needed a follow-up evaluation for some water damage to check on the dryness levels, and they were incredibly responsive. Despite it being a Sunday afternoon, they were able to schedule a visit without any issues, which we really appreciated.

Jacobee from Rocky Mountain Restoration arrived exactly on time, as scheduled. One thing I really appreciate about their service is their courtesy call about 30 minutes before arrival, which is much better than having to wait within a large, vague time window. During the evaluation, Jacobee was extremely professional and took the time to explain everything in meticulous detail. We are very happy with the service and glad we chose Rocky Mountain Restoration for our needs.

He even gave me some life advice and pointers to prevent the problem from reoccurring. please, read all the bad reviews, this is all true, i had a leak problem with my house, a plumer told me to call this company,huge mistake. they end it up, charging us $11,000 through my company insurence,for some fans they left in my house, and some holes they did on my wall to dry it up, we didnt agree to this, but my husband sing a document, with out knowing, when my insurence told us the amount, they want for the servicio, we where on stock, we argued we them only for them to tells us if we didnt paid, they we'll put a lean on our house,.....Do not sign anything and do not use this company bottom line. They will run their equipment longer than necessary to run the bill up more than necessary, and per the insurance they’re using higher than market price gauging over the reasonable charges and them come after you for them over charging. Their customer service is rude as can be. They also don’t know what they’re doing

Fantastic service all around, we had a pipe crack and needed restoration services. They responded quickly and were extremely helpful and patient. Dillon was extremely helpful, getting machines set up and keeping in contact the whole time, he explained the process very clearly and got it all started. Matt and Daniel and his crew were efficient and very clean in getting everything set up and checking in. Darius was friendly and explained things thoroughly at every step letting us know what to expect and why things were being done. Overall I can’t recommend Rocky Mountain enough if you’re ever in need. They made a stressful and unfortunate situation much more manageable.
