I contacted Kevin with issues on the transfer switch on a Tiffin 32CA. He promptly worked me in, came over and checked things out and found some loose connections. Tightened them up and problem was resolved. Avoided replacement and the unit is working now as designed! I'd recommend him for your rv needs.

I have a 2002 Chinook and very little experience with the inner workings. I belong to three groups that specialize in Chinooks. A post came up about an anode rod being replaced in the hot water heater. Since I don't have a repair history with this RV, I thought it best to replace my anode rod. I ordered it but didn't have the confidence I could change it. I called Road Runner, Kevin, and he came to change it. He explained that the existing rod didn't really need to be changed but because he was here, I had him change it. He was honest, professional and knowledgeable. I will be calling on him again.

Kevin is absolutely amazing! We had an issue with moisture behind our walls. Kevin answered his phone on a Saturday night and made a plan to come out on Monday morning. We were on our way back home with 1000 miles to go. Stopped at fuel station to refuel, opened slider and power went out. Troubleshooting as much as we could. Called Kevin, he said.... I can't get out to u you today Im to far out.I thinking it's the battery causing your issue. replace it. The controller is telling module that there isn't enough battery power. We had just put in a second battery last season. Both batteries were new. He was right and diagnosed it over the phone. You don't meet people like Kevin to often!!! We were camping in our RV this past Easter weekend and our toilet sprung a leak causing us to shut off water. This easily could have derailed our trip. I was referred to Kevin and he showed up first thing in the morning to troubleshoot. We ended up having to replace our toilet and Kevin did an amazing job. We called Road Runner RV Repair to assess our hot water heater on our '98 Dutch Star. He was able to come first thing the next morning. A replacement water heater was needed but one wasn't available prior to our departure from this campground. He referred us to another certified technician in the area we were traveling to and didn't charge us anything for the hour he was here. He was very knowledgeable with our water heater and I would highly recommend his services.

I called Kevin regarding an issue with our toilet leaking. He stopped the same day to check it out at the end of his busy day and came early the following morning as agreed. What a great experience. Kevin immediately responded to my call Sunday and quickly sorted out if I had an emergency. I did not. Rather, I suffered from a mild case of newbie error syndrome. I left my awning out when bad weather came through the area and destroyed it. Kevin informed me Monday morning I was second on his schedule, and he said he would see me between ten and noon. He was early. He assessed the situation and determined he would need some help taking the awning off of the RV. He and another technician made short work of the job. Best RV repair experience. Period! After escaping south in front of huge winter storms on the first trip of the season, I found my water pump was not working properly when I arrived in St. Augustine. I meant to do this review a while ago. In July of this year we had a trip planned to fort wilderness. It was for the 4th of July. We were planning to leave on the 3rd. On July 2nd while prepping the trailer I noticed the carpet in the compartment was wet from the rain the previous day. I contacted Roadrunner RV repair and explained we planned to leave the next early the next day for our trip. He arrived the next morning at 7am and was able to locate the problem and fix it. We have not had water in the compartment since. I highly recommend Roadrunner RV service.

Kevin was very responsive to our electrical issue with the coach. Started with slide not retracting to other equipment not functioning. Identified issue as a short. He is very knowledgeable and takes his work seriously. If I need to have local repairs in the future, he is the man I will call.

Kevin was a wonderful repairman. We have a blockage in our black tank and needed it speedily unclogged before we stored our camper until next summer. He came out a couple hours after contact and tried his best to have it unclogged, but ended up not being able to, do to the blockage being in the connecter and not the actual tank. He was kind enough to not charge us for his time and work since he was unable to properly clean it out. We would definitely call him again if we had any repairs needed in the Saint Augustine area.

Kevin is unusual in this industry for a number of reasons. Primarily, his demeanor is calming, and level headed. After calling repair technicians from other mobile repair service companies for a house call floor issue, it was, “we will make an appointment, cancel that appointment, charge you for coming out when we can, and estimate an unreasonable expense.” Kevin came out to have a look, advised us on a way we could fix the issue, or hire him, waved his fee, and called back to make sure everything was ok. While that is an unrealistic standard to meet, genuinely, he saved us thousands of dollars directly compared to the local “highly rated” competition. I don’t say this lightly, but I trust Road Runner RV.

I found Kevin by accident. A customer gave him the wrong site number. I spoke to him for a few minutes. Later on I noticed some water dripping from my unit. He was able to come out and check it out. But of course the leak had stopped. Later on that evening the leak started back up. I was able to do some investigating and Kevin was able to come back out the next afternoon and get me all fixed up while I was on vacation with my family. I highly recommend his services. Kevin is an RV repair lifesaver. When you realize that none of the RV or car dealerships will take an RV around here, you start to worry about your options, so Kevin was just an amazing find. He came right to my house to repair an awning where the mechanical arms were falling off so I couldn't drive the RV. He removed the old awning, secured the mechanical arms, provided an estimate and ordered the new parts right away. Install was quick and flawless, and the price quoted was the price I paid, no surprises or upcharges. When we got to St. Augustine, our first big trip from Michigan, I found that our turn point 5th wheel hitch was not working. Him and Randy from RVTAA looked at the hitch and determined it was the bearing. They had to order the part and it arrived the following week. Professional, personable, and knowledgeable he chased all over town to find a gas line plug that match our line so we would not be without gas as he had to remove our furnace for repair. Road Runner RV Repair in association with C&R Mobile RV replaced a defective Mastervolt Inverter with a Magnum Inverter. Both Kevin and Randy seemed professional and efficient. The inverter was installed along with a new monitor in 3 hours. It has been several days now and all is working well.
