I want to be VERY honest when it comes to this review. For context, my home had a pretty serious mold issue. Mold was visible in multiple rooms, the bathroom, and most prominent in my attic, so I knew the job was going to be a large one. This was at a rental property of mine and my tenants are NOT easy to work with; they are usually not cooperative people. Nonetheless, the project was 2 parts: one part for mold remediation and a second part for home repairs (drywall, insulation, etc). I live out-of-state, so my communication with the company was fully via phone and email. I will start by saying, the pricing was reasonable for the large amount of work done and the results from the work itself was great! Arturo did a wonderful job based off the few pictures I received and the tenants were pleased with the work quality.

The reason why I’m giving the company 3 stars is because of the lack of communication that occurred throughout the project timelines. There were multiple times when a lack of communication was noted, which led to frustration and tension between myself and the company.

- During one of the days of remediation, the technicians left earlier than I expected, leaving some mold still remaining after the first day and no one informed me of this. I had to call the technician who a was on-site to ask about the progress of the remediation and he apologized for not telling me this while already on the second day of work. This wasn’t too big of a deal as I knew progress was being done, but it did bring frustration on my tenants as they saw unfinished work and mold still visible after day 1 of the remediation work, which they were not expecting.
- Moving into the repairs project, the office manager and I had scheduled a day for the technicians to start the repair work. The technicians did not show up on the day of scheduling and no one informed me. My tenants had to inform me at the end of the day. I called the office manager who apologized and mentioned it was because of another job that the technicians had far from my home address. We had to re-schedule, which is always frustrating. This was near Mother’s Day weekend, so we had said we would re-schedule the following week, but, the office manager and I had confirmed that she would call me with a 24-hour notice. For example, if she called me on a Monday it would be to schedule the technicians to work on Tuesday.
- The technicians showed up to my home on Monday morning, the Monday after Mother’s Day weekend, however, I did not receive a call on Sunday to let me know that the technicians were arriving on Monday (giving me the 24-hour notice). On this day, one of the technicians lied and said that the office manager HAD called me and therefore I did not do my due diligence in informing the tenants about their arrival on Monday morning. This was a blatant lie. I have phone records that show no call log or emails, any notification really, for any sort or communication on Sunday prior to the day the technicians showed up. At this point, while I sincerely do not like typing this out, I felt that I needed to “baby” the company and I asked for them to please provide me with DAILY updates at the end of each day to confirm the plan for the next day and to provide me with status updates on the project. Still, there was a day in which I did not receive a call for a status update.

The company did share with me that my tenants were being difficult to work with, especially towards the end of the repairs, which I apologize for, sincerely. I appreciate their patience. I think,l they just fell short of good communication numerous times. :( Lastly, I also did want to mention that out of almost 90 photos that I received from the entire project, only 5 of them were for the “after” pictures. They looked great, but I was not satisfied fully as there were not enough “after” photos to fully cover the work the company said they did on my home. While I know there are mostly wonderful 5-star reviews for the company so far (which is great), I wanted to share my experience.
