FYI: While picking out materials, we were told we would be given a discount if we left a 5 star google review during the meeting. We did so to receive the discount knowing we could update our review if we needed.

We are having such a frustrating experience with this company. They called to tell me the date our siding project would start and then no one showed up on that date or the several days after. I tried to get information out of the company about the delay but no one could tell me what was happening. The crew ended up showing up 10 days later and started the project. They worked for 4 days and then never came back to finish the job. It's been two weeks since they stopped working and I have contacted the company several times to get information about if and when they will be finishing the project. Again, I am getting zero information from them.

We had a contract with Restoration Builders to have our roof replaced. Our salesman, Spencer was wonderful. The day of our roof install, we got a call from Kent (job manager) saying the job would be delayed by a day. When I asked why nobody had called us sooner, Kent told me that he had forgotten his laptop in his hotel room and didn’t realize we were on the schedule. We were going to be out of town that day & I asked Kent to reschedule the job. After waiting a week, I called Amber their scheduler. Apparently, we “fell threw the cracks.” Amber offered to reschedule and I asked her to have someone call me to explain certain aspects of the install. Our roof currently doesn’t have a metal valley and I wanted someone to explain to me why a valley was going to be used. No one had the courtesy to call me back. The next thing I knew, the supply company came to pick up the roofing supplies from my driveway and told us that Restoration Builders told them the contract had been canceled. I called Kent & he didn’t return my phone calls. A few days later someone named Rick (who identified himself as a salesman ) called to give me a quote for wrapping the facia with aluminum. I asked if our roofing contract had been canceled. He looked in the records and said yes and that they’d be returning our deposit. he couldn’t tell me why. I asked to have somebody notify us in writing that they had canceled our contract without notice or reason, and to confirm that they would be returning our $1,000 deposit. We have not received any notice in writing or our deposit and it’s been two weeks.

I think this is horribly unprofessional and inexcusable behavior.

Our house had suffered significant hail damage(siding, gutters, window wraps, and roof). Restoration Builders of MN made the replacement process as painless as possible for us. They battled it out with our insurance company and got them to cover the majority of the repairs (we opted for some upgrades that we knew would not be covered). Rick Vining was the associate we worked with and he was fantastic-was quick to respond to our questions and concerns. We absolutely adore our "new" old home and are constantly getting compliments from folks in our neighborhood.

We had Restoration Builders replace our roof during the purchase of our older home in 2022, and overall had a great experience. We later noticed minute cracks in our plaster (there were already a decent amount before roof installation) in our home, so we contacted Don about the matter.

He was extremely polite and helpful; he came out and looked at it with us. We were able to resolve that the cracks were not substantial and were not related to the roof installation, rather it was just inevitable settling of the house. He helped advise us on how to fix it and took a look at some other unrelated issues we were having, which clearly demonstrated that he cared. Restoration Builders demonstrated their thorough commitment to customer service and quality!

Restoration builders was very professional and clear in their communication. They were upfront and the process with our insurance was explained very well and went as expected. We would definitely use Restoration builders again

I reviewed Restoration Builders as 5 starts near the end of my project thinking they would be as great as they were at the start of the process. Here we are 7 months later, and my project is still not finished. They have essentially stopped communication other than sending someone out every 6 weeks or so to say the will finish but then nothing happens. Very frustrating process after initially being impressed. Would not recommend to anyone. It's like they stopped caring about my project once they cashed the check!

We would recommend Restoration Builders for your roof replacement. They did an awesome job and stayed on top of the insurance claim.

My insurance company approved my roof hail damage claim on 9/20 and the new shingles were installed on 10/1. All my contacts with Restoration Builders were top-notch, from meeting Shawn Johnson, who first inspected my roof, to Rick Vining who followed up on the project to all the behind the scenes people who kept me up to date about the scheduled work, to the great crew that managed to finish the job in 6 hours. Very well done!

Rick at Restoration Builders was amazing to work with. There was never a time in the process I didn't know what was going on. He handled everything to do with my insurance and made the entire process stress free. I would recommend Restoration Builders to my family, friends and neighbors.

The work is just beginning. An initial roof inspection was done by Brian, who worked closely with my insurance company. Rick inspected the roof with my insurance adjuster - all free. Both Brian and Jerry spent a lot of time measuring and explaining roofing and gutters and costs. They were VERY thorough and made sure I understood everything. My new roof and gutters will be done this fall.

Jerry and Spencer, two representatives of Restoration Builders met with us today. Both were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions in terms we could understand. We were presented with all the information and options we needed to make a decision to meet our needs. Both had great personalities. I would highly recommend both to be the ones to work with in the beginning stage of replacing a roof.

Don and his team were great to work with. Everyone was very professional and communicated very well. They worked with my insurance company to fix mistakes, even after I contacted my insurance company and was told "everything is fine". Restoration Builders took the initiative and time to advocate for me and make it right--above and beyond what I expected. Roof was repaired to better than it's even been, and RB had quality control checks throughout the entire process to make sure it was done right--highly detailed crew--they are professionals. They came over multiple times after the roof was done and ran their magnet to get as many nails as possible as they knew I had small kids. Plus Don's a car guy---we got along great. Bottom line--great company to work with and would recommend them to everyone! Thanks!!

Was very professional, easy to communicate with, and helped us every step of the way from calling the claim into insurance and explaining the process. I would highly recommend Restoration Builders if you are looking to replace your roof or siding! My first interaction was with Brian, we sat down and discussed the damage due to hail. He walked me through the steps of opening a claim with my insurance company, and would keep in touch with me to make sure the process was going smoothly. I then met Rick who came out at the same time of the adjuster. When they were done looking over the house, Rick took the time to explain what they had found for damage, and what our next steps would be.

Jerry came to the house, and went through the estimate and explained everything in great detail. I appreciated his honesty, and guidance to make sure the proper materials were used to protect the longevity of our roof and siding. All three of these gentleman were very personable, polite and extremely knowledgeable! Great company, and great employees you absolutely will not be disappointed in anyway!

They worked with the insurance on hail damage on our home. They reached out in our neighborhood about a storm that I didn’t even realize had damaged our roof. They have been very professional so far, and will be replacing our roof later this summer.

Tim Gulland, the salesman, was wonderful!He was so conscientious and was involved in every detail from initially inspecting my roof, helping me contact my insurance company, meeting with the adjuster and overseeing the whole roof and gutter installation. But, every person involved was so competent, caring, and concerned with doing everything right and with excellent professionalism. The roofers themselves were so hardworking and so diligent In making sure every aspect was perfect!! They are the most professional, dedicated people with whom I have ever worked.

Over the past few years we've tried working with numerous roofing companies to replace our hail damaged roof. And all were frustratingly unsuccessful and not helpful when working with our homeowners insurance company. Then Corey Mireau came along! Corey Mireau was extremely helpful and navigated my insurance claim for over a year working to help me get my roof replaced. He is very responsive, helpful, and has a great memory. Using this company was an awesome experience. Luke first came and inspected my roof and took pictures. He said there was hail and wind damage. He shared the pictures with me and then called my insurance company to make the claim. The adjuster came out and Luke met him to help in any way. A few days later my insurance company called and said the roof was approved. Next Luke and Rick made an appointment with me to review the job and have me pick out the color of the shingles. The workers showed up to do the roofing job. They were on time and efficient. They finished the job in one day and cleaned up after completion. We were completely satisfied with the excellent work and professionalism.

Very positive experience from start to finish! Brian stopped by my house and told me I may have hail damage to my roof, he checked and I did- he called my insurance company with me to file a claim. When the company adjuster came to my home I believe his name was Blair, he was along side pointing out any issues that the roof had. Brian kept in contact with me the entire time, always answered any questions I had in a timely manner plus followed up with me after the job was finished. Very impressed with all I had contact with-Brian, Rick and Todd. I was also assured any future questions that I would have to contact them. I would highly recommend this company!
