We never even made it into the hotel. We had booked a room online here on the fly, as it was cheap and we were exhausted after driving 11 hours already. We pulled into the parking lot around 9:30pm. The building did not look as good as it did in the pictures. There was a group of about 10 people just sitting in chairs by the entrance. We pulled over to park, so I could run in to check us in. As soon as I opened the door, all we could smell was marijuana. I have no problem with that, but, we had two small children with us. At that point we decided to just call it a $70 loss, and found a better hotel down the road.

Bed bugs.. me and my husband politely asked the front desk lady to check out early, and she looked at my husband and said "Before we handle this, can you put your gun away". He didnt even have it out..she just saw it sitting on his hip (concealed) and acted like we came downstairs and started screaming "ITS A STICK UPPP PUT YOUR HANDS UP NOWWW" like we didnt even do all that, we aren't ANIMALS. ‍♀️ We didnt do anything to trigger that kind of response. We just wanted a refund for our remaining nights, we were very graceful given the circumstances. And then she's like "do you wanna move rooms?" Like ew no ! Get me outta here. ✋ I didnt say that though I was still very nice to the lady even though she was acting like we were gunna hurt her! Which we would never do.. Other than that she helped us handle the refund accordingly. Breakfast was good. It was nice and quiet, I didnt see any suspect characters or danger. The shower was moist when we got to the room like someone JUST showered 7 minutes ago. Mold on the shower curtain, bathroom sink was literally filthy green colored, it smelled like RAID in there !! It smelled like weed in the hallways. I overlooked all of this but the bed bugs and stained matress were the last straw. Now I have to freakin torch my luggage ! I ain't bringing it home with me !

Recommend make reservations online. We did though we were in the lobby as rate quoted at the desk was a bit higher than online. Room table lamp switch was broken, front desk unable to replace. Next morning outside facet was broken & water running into parking lot, front desk said she didn't know what to do about it. Breakfast was fair with limited choices. Average accommodations for a Quality Inn.

Very disappointing experience. We were denied our stay because we were traveling with a service dog and did not have a physical ID for the animal — despite having made a reservation, informing the hotel in advance, and showing digital documentation.

We had already checked in and were in the room when someone knocked on our door telling us we had to leave. The manager claimed there was no space for pets and that we had to provide paper documentation for our service dog — even though digital proof had been provided, as we have done successfully at other hotels in the same chain.

This is a clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which does not require service dogs to carry physical identification. We were forced to leave at 10:30 PM after a 12-hour trip. Unacceptable and discriminatory.

This caused us significant stress and forced us to find alternative accommodation late at night. I hope the hotel chain takes this seriously and ensures their staff are properly trained in ADA regulations to prevent this from happening to others.

Keep driving. Don’t stop. Go somewhere else. I booked this over the phone with a booking service and I mentioned I wanted a clean hotel. They said it was rated a 3.8 out of 5 on cleanliness. This was NOT the case. Upon arrival I noticed lots of spills, dirt, etc on the floor in the halls. The bathroom in our room had stuff on the counters, some sort of spill down the wall, the hair dryer looked like it was missing a part on it, stains all over the chairs and even lamp shades. The TV was messed up, and the remote was sticky We did inspect the bed for bed bugs and the bed seemed ok, but based on the conditions of everything else we decided to sleep on top of the covers. We also decided to not eat their breakfast over concerns of cleanliness. We would have gone somewhere else but the other hotels we wanted to stay at were booked up. There was also a musty smell to the whole building.

This is the second time in a 6 month span that I have stayed at this hotel. The rooms are in disrepair and could use a thorough, deep cleaning. At night, the room appears to be clean, but during the day when you open the curtains, you can see crumbs and dirt all over everything. Both times the bathroom floors were very sticky. Both times the chairs at the tables were very dirty and stained. The shower head and the faucets for both the sink and the shower were broken. The bottle for shampoo in the shower was totally empty. The only plus that I saw were the linens and towels were clean.

Positive: "" Negative: Well..: the first room we were given had a heavy musty mildew smell and a piece of the base board was laying on the floor covered in mildew. The second room did not smell but after stuff was wrong with it. Not enough time to list but will not stay here.

Horrible. Air didnt cool good. Breakfast was not good. Bathtub could not plug, comode seat broke. No radio, half lights didnt work. Baby screaming all night. Someone sleeping in the floor in the hallway. No tissue, only one plug. Tv was dark. I will never stay here again. As a single woman with her daughter, i felt unsafe.

We stayed here on the way to our destination. We chose it because it is next to the interstate and it is a Quality hotel.
The only quality is in the name on the sign.
It is disgusting. Dirty, stinky, unfriendly staff. There were girls who appeared to be hookers out front with cars rolling through like a revolving door. We did not see this until after we had checked in.
It didn't feel safe, but we didn't have any problems.

TV did not have national channels,furniture very old in room, not well lighted and bed lite had to be used to lite rm. No one would answer phone for hours at nite. Handicap rm on second floor. Room not very clean. Was woke up twice at 1 and 2 am by very loud stamming of a door.|The breakfast was the best part of the stay.

I want to start by saying the price is really fair for what you get and having lived in Hattiesburg the locations is decent. The check in was simple and the workers are friendly. The hotel itself has potential but has a lot of issues that could turn some away. For starters I had to use the stairs because the elevator is out of order and my door can only open by pulling up on the handle so I was ready to not like this place. I did find that the shower head doesn’t work with all the settings but the water actually gets hot and stays hot. The bathroom is a decent size and everything In the room worked fine although things were unplugged for some reason. I read reviews of TVs not working but mine worked fine. The fit and finish of this place is okay but some painting looked rushed and could use some tlc on simple things. Now to the actual good things . The rooms are huge and mine had no noticeable odors. No hoodlum activities going on and I didn’t see any roaches or bedbugs. Sheets were clean and smelled fresh. Overall I’d stay again but you can’t expect much. It is a cheap hotel but still feels comfortable enough that you can actually relax and is at the right price for the quality so all things considered it’s a decent option as far as affordable hotels go.

Warning, just DON’T! Wish I could post pictures to this review. Room was dirty, mildew around the tub, overspray on multiple things, toilet paper holder falling out of the wall, curtains falling off, key randomly stopped working, bag of chips crumbled up and visibly left stuck in a lamp, lamp didn’t work with missing buttons. Looks like the numbers in the elevator were painted on with white out. Quality Inn & Suites should be embarrassed. Thought I was being pranked!

Even though I booked online when I walked in the rude lady at the front desk informed me that she had no more rooms and asked me what the hell did I want her to do about it kick the people out that checked in 10 minutes before me even though I book my room an hour beforehand never again absolutely do not recommend

Rooms are disgustingly dirty. Gal at the desk was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating, but that does not make up for how dirty this hotel is. We were moved to a different room because our tv didn’t work. Both rooms were very dirty. From stains on bedding, chairs, floors, to dirty and disgusting bathroom, and refrigerator that was frozen. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a wonderful experience here and kept extending our stay another night. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had positive experiences with all the staff. The only downside was that breakfast closed early for us (9am) and it was limited on the kinds of healthier, low-sugar items we like -- but others would find plenty to eat. Overall, though, it was a fantastic value and we would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Don't have high expectations for this hotel. I wanted to like this place and do a 'good' review, but after seeing more in the room after we were here a while really made me upset. The only good things here, were, the bedding in our room was good, so we did endure and stay rather than leave. The lobby and hallways are somewhat updated, but the rest is really needing attention. I've submitted some images here showing the not so good stuff. The biggest violation, was they unplugged the fire alarm from the ceiling and put it in one of the drawers. Yes, we should have left, but just taking the chances. Overall, the owner here is not doing any maintenance in the rooms, or at least not this room!!!! Maybe good employees are hard to get, but here's the list: Very dirty exhaust outlet in the bathroom. (Could be cleaned in maybe a minute?......see the pic) They didn't add extra outlets for TV/Lamp/Fridge/Internet connection, so I had to unplug the TV so I could charge my laptop at the desk. Also, the desk legs were very loose/wabbly. I finger tightened the nuts on the table legs, but another item that would take maybe 2 minutes to fix? Ceramic in the bathroom was broken off the walls. The TV/fridge cabinet had trim broke/missing. Okay, overall, the room was very rough and badly in need of fixing many things, and unsafe because of pulling the fire/smoke alarm from the room, but the bedding was okay, and they did replace the flooring with a laminate which was clean. There was another hotel in the Choice hotels chain that was only a bit more priced than this one, and I wish I would have stayed there.

The front desk clerk when we checked in was so sweet and friendly. I wish I remembered her name. She was working so hard to make sure everything looked nice in the lobby. Enjoyed talking with her. The room was clean but so much was rusted and the overall room gave an old, worn appearance. The toilet seat was too small for the larger base making it uncomfortable to sit on. The toilet randomly started running throughout the night. There was a piece of metal stuck in one of the outlets. Tiles were cracked and missing. The toilet bowl and tub looked very old. Just not a room I would ever want to stay in again. The workmanship looked to be done by someone who did not know what they were doing.

Where do I begin? We stayed here last year when we drove here from Texas and it was ok... not great but not disgusting!
Well, tonight was a completely different experience! We flipped our cart over with all of our suitcases and ice chest on it when we first got here because the concrete is broken up! They took away the one bench that used to be outside the front door to sit on! It makes it hard for disabled people that can't stand up for very long. We go to our room and kill 2 roaches within the 1st 20 minutes! And, our TV picture is going out no matter which channel we watch!
Not bad enough for you? My elderly disabled mom is trying to call the front desk... but, there is no phone in our room! I get that it was a cheap room for the night. I've stayed at lots of hotels.

I went to the desk to complain and nobody was there. I see a white car peeling out of the parking lot with no lights on. They drove all the way down the road before turning lights on. It was the hotel employee. Guess she didn't want her boss to see her leaving so she drove with no headlights on her car for half a mile!?!
Now, she's back sitting in the car for at least 45 mins while I wait on her!
The smell of weed is so strong in the hotel I might be high just from the second hand smoke! At this point that might not be a bad thing to keep me from flipping out about the conditions here)
Last but not least, our fridge is hot and we have plastic baseboard that fell off the wall and is laying in the floor in our room. And the whole thing looks moldy and disgusting!
I'll post pics! So y'all can judge for yourselves if this is somewhere you want you/your family to stay at! Again, we just stayed here last year and it wasn't too bad! It's insane how fast a year can run a place down! After a long drive from Texas the last thing I could do is pack everything back into the car to switch hotels.... so consider this your warning just don't do this to yourselves for a few bucks savings... it's definitely not worth it!

The room had multiple issues. There was a damaged lamp by our couch that did not have a light bulb. Multiple lights were left unplugged. Room service was asked for but never delivered. The bathroom had baby roaches as of Saturday night.

Multiple times people were wandering the halls shouting after midnight. At least once a staff member was smoking a rather odorous material near the front door and it smelled bad enough it triggered a coughing fit.

The location is great but we'll stay at nearby hotels in the future.

I don't think I have ever stayed in a place so filthy. As soon as we walked into the room it had the most over powering smell of mildew. Chewed gum was on the walls, towels and bedding had hair all over it, the drawers had trash. I ususally am not very critical of hotels but please just skip this one. Staff was nice to us but the room didn't seem safe for how strongly it smelled of mildew.

Where is the quality in this quality Inn?
Absolutely one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in so far let’s just start with the black mold that’s being spread all over the room because that’s exactly what it smelled like in every room even though I got changed things are broken sink won’t drain faucet in the shower doesn’t work The fridge needs to be replaced. The lock on the door is jammed unless you pull it up instead of down there’s filth everywhere stains everywhere smells everywhere, including trash all over the place.. I hate to say this but the owner of this hotel being Indian they really don’t care about quality of life so in my honest opinion stay away from this quality Inn because there is no quality

The lobby was full of debris, pallets and trash. We had mold in one of the rooms. The chairs were filthy and stained. Ac would not go above low. Dirt on the walls. Clerk was nonchalant about our issues. I paid for 2 rooms for 2 nights. We had to leave after the first night. Extremely disappointed.

Do not stay here !!!!! The room and hotel are filthy and old. See pictures. Holes in walls and doors taped up, dirty filthy toilets, stained filthy couches, stained filthy disgusting old mattress !!!! This hotel and rooms have not been updated since the early 90's. Caulking in bathroom falling out and just hanging there, stained tub, broken tiles are black in between from years of not cleaning the floors and walls,hole in ceiling where fire sprinkler is taped up. Broken electrical outlets with exposed wires and ac vents. Even the chair was filthy and the desk and table were all scratched up. I asked 3 times last night if the ac was cold and the front desk clerk said yes. It was not !!!! She was so lazy and was pre occupied with her 14 year old son that was helping her work at almost 11 o' clock at night and sitting in the lobby taking up guest space. The lobby had construction debris and pallets everywhere !!!! Is that not against child labor laws. She was so nasty coughing with her mouth open and had an attitude like she did not want to rent me the room and just hang out with her son and smoke. Almost $ 100 a night for this trashy hotel and room. I swear this is like a crack head hotel !!!!!!!

Positive: NOTHING IT WAS HORRIBLE, The fact my door could not b unlocked in first room so for over 45 min I sat while my phone, purse all my $ and belongings were trapped in room because lock quit working therefore wouldn't open then continued below.... Negative: moved to room 213 to jus sit while they called owner to come then the 3rd room I had roaches on me after getting in bed so I slept 4 hrs in chair til I could leave at 7am NIGHTMARE FROM HELL

I was staying here for the weekend as I have many times before, I have never really had any issues until now. I checked in too late to go anywhere else but within 5 minutes of being in the room I killed three roaches and slept with the lights on the rest of the few hours of sleep I actually got. I changed hotels the next day but they really need a remodel (stained furniture and carpets) and a good pest service. Their customer service is usually always great, but roaches are and instant no go for me.

The room was disgusting. There were cigarette butts between the headboard and the mattress and the room was supposed to be non-smoking, the ice container had some kind of sticky gooey crap in it, the toilet seat was a different size than the toilet below it, making it short from the edge of the commode by about 2 inches. It looked like the beds had been remade, but nothing had been cleaned.

The housekeeping was subpar. (I saw a q-tip on the floor that was not ours).|The ac/heating unit in two different rooms kept flipping off. The manager finally came and fixed one in the 2nd room they put us in.|There was tape covering the smoke detector in the fitness room.|They were friendly and worked to fix the heater to keep our business, but this place should not be your first choice.

It was cool. Like it wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. I slept well. Woke up for the complimentary breakfast. Had a hot shower. The other guests AND the employees were kind and attentive.

The building & amenities are just old. They need updated materials but you get a decent stay for your want.

We love staying with this hotel. It's the only place we stay, after trying several hotels in the area.
Great staff, rooms and breakfast.
However, our most recent stay, I was disappointed. Our room had no chair, was not cleaned very well and was falling apart. The toilet seat did not match the toilet it was on (see pictures)
Reconsidering looking for another hotel for a trip in August. I'm so upset.

We came to this hotel after leaving a different hotel because our room was uninhabitable and it was a huge sigh of relief. The rooms were decently clean, the beds are comfortable, tv works, ample room for kids or extra guests. It was only $20 more and so so worth it.
