Matt and Jose from the Service Department came by to follow up on door and window problem we were experiencing. RESULTs-- On-time arrival; quick and precise diagnosis of the problem; focused repair and caulking; thorough clean up; and comprehensive explanations of the problem and what was done and an assurance that Presidential stood by their work.

I spotted what appeared to be a defect in two of nine windows. PM Vick was able to evaluate the root cause and identified the solution. I’m closer to having a perfect job with the Presidential Exteriors warranty covering all issues that might lead to an imperfect experience. Much gratitude for the peace of mind I will have after the job is done.

We recently purchased our 100+ year old home and we quickly found out that the house needed a whole exterior remodel. We contacted a few places but Presidential was one of the few who were able to remove the asbestos siding and not have to sub contract it out. We met with their sales rep Kaleb, he was awesome and very patient with us as we asked dozens of questions regarding what we should do next (our dog adored him which is always a great sign!). We spent over 6 hours game planning the remodel and Kaleb was informed and supportive the whole time. Once we had our game plan we set up an appointment to get precise measurements from the on site team.

We just wrapped with our measurements meeting with them today and we are feeling very confident about the next phases of the project. They had their specialist guys come out to address each of the issues we are focusing on. Nate walked us through the asbestos removal process, safety precautions, and timeline. Alex came out an hand measured each of the windows. We had a bunch of questions for him as our windows are original and need a lot of attention. He was super helpful! We also met with Victor who will be helping with the whole project. It was great to sync with everyone as we of course had changed our minds on color in the week since we met with Kaleb. The team was very accommodating and helpful in incorporating our requests.

There’s irony in being so excited about having windows that don’t leak and insulation in the walls while knowing that is the bare minimum we will get out of this remodel. I don’t think we quite grasp how much of an upgrade we are in store for! Presidential was definitely not the cheapest option for us but with the scale of this project we wanted to have one team that would be able to adapt to all of the different potential issues and not just defer to the next contractor on site. We are looking forward to breaking ground soon and will post an update once we wrap!

We had gutters and downspouts installed on our home today. The install team arrived on time and completed the job quickly. Nate coordinated the project ensuring the correct color and scope of job then returned after the job to ensure completion and customer satisfaction AND brought a box of freshly baked cookies to thank us. From the first contact w Sebastian setting up the appointment to Josh the sales expert who closed the deal to the completion w Nate- the entire process was 5 star service. I strongly recommend this company for any exterior needs for your home. Wonderful experience that started and ended in 5 days!!

I had a few custom windows installed and it went exceptionally well! Vick & Porter wasted no time getting the windows replaced and were very tentative to keeping everything clean. The windows look great! Without a doubt I recommend them.

I don't usually trust companies with a door-to-door sales model, but Presidential Exteriors did an awesome job. Their sales rep, Adam, cut me a very reasonable quote for shutter replacement, and the rest of the team was very professional all the way through the process. Their pipeline included a pre-install site visit from a project manager, an installation visit from two skilled installers (James and Carlos), and a follow-up QA inspection. I will call them again without hesitation if I need siding or window replacement in the future.

We had new windows and front door installed, followed by soffits and trim. Materials were excellent and the installers did very good work. Vic and Porter answered all my questions completely and were good to work with. A lot of different people from the company talk with you during a project, which can get confusing so be sure to get one project manager’s info to be your one point of contact.

Had the roof replaced and the side trim recapped. Company was professional and courteous. Minor issue with some unexpected damage, but the company is making it right. Vick and Porter were great to deal with. I would choose Presidential again.

Everyone I've worked with at Presidential exteriors have been very pleasant, everyone has gone out of their way to show me I'm valued as a customer, especially project manager Vic who stopped by and helped me with my door, went over warranty, and explained everything i needed to know at final inspection. I am highly dissatisfied with Presidential Exteriors' recent conduct. Despite clear "No Trespassing" and "No Soliciting" signs, 2 of their representatives ignored them, walked across my lawn and driveway, and knocked on my door.

This blatant disrespect for private property is unprofessional and illegal. It reflects poorly on the company's tactics. I do not appreciate this invasion of privacy and urge others to be wary of their disregard for boundaries. My experience was overwhelmingly negative, like many other reviews mention.

Reported these reps and the company to Fairfax County Police for their violation of soliciting laws.

The installation crew was professional, the installers did a good job, the inspector checked all windows carefully and the project manager stop by a couple of times during the installation period to ensure everything was under the expectation and without any issues. The manager also did the final walkthrough with me. I was very satisfied with the whole process.

We used presidential exterior to change the siding roofing on our home, 2 years later we contacted them to do our gutters and caps. We are very happy with the results and the professional service they provided. Matt vick, mo and all the personnel were very helpful.

This company came to my home on Saturday to try to sell me on a free quote. My fiancée, who owns the home, told the company we’re not interested. Despite that, the company called me today to try to schedule a time, as if they weren’t told we’re not interested. I’m leaving this review because companies can’t be allowed to get away with harassing practices like this.

We had our roof replaced by Presidential Exteriors. Service was exceptional from estimator to pre-install inspection to installers, all managed by project manager Matt Vick. Everything occurred on time as scheduled. Every person was professional, knowledgeable about their respective areas. Installation started and ended on time. The crew was efficient, replaced all underlayment needed, and cleaned up well. Most impressive to us was the fact that when we had a question during install, it was addressed immediately by installers AND managers. Clearly, the company supports open lines of communication between management and labor. This is a key difference from other companies we have experienced in the past. At Presidential, all departments seem to work together making for a very satisfying outcome. Refreshing and much appreciated!

We used Presidential Exteriors for new energy efficient windows and sliding door. They look great! Mr. Kim, Vick, and Porter were all very thorough. They explained everything and we are very satisfied. Josh the remodel consultant was very nice also. great work!

Scheduling and Material sourcing went smoothly. Vick answered all of our questions and got the install date set up on time.

Presidential Exteriors replaced our double front door a few weeks ago. The installers did an excellent job and left a very clean work site when they were done. The new Provia door looks great. However, a day or two later, a problem developed. The interior knob on the active door would pop off the door when we tried to pull the door open. I called Presidential and was told that they had encountered this problem with Schlage handlesets previously. A technician was sent to our home with parts to fix it but the fix did not work. The folks at Presidential contacted Provia to obtain a new handleset. Matt, the head service technician for Presidential Exteriors came to our house today to replace the hardware on the door. He quickly determined that the mechanism that holds the knob on the door was incorrectly installed in the handleset when the handleset was put together at the factory. This was quite a different problem from the problems with Schlage handlesets that folks at Presidential had seen previously, which is why the first fix didn't work. He quickly replaced the handle mechanism with one with the parts correctly installed and the problem was solved. It only took him a few minutes to complete the work. He showed me the problem parts so I could understand what was going on. Aside from being a quick and efficient tech, Matt was courteous and friendly. Will we use Presidential Exteriors again? One measure of a company is how they respond when a problem arises. Presidential Exteriors passed that test so, yes, we will used them again for other work on our home.

The best service we have had thus far! We had to replace the roof and a few windows due to hail damage; Nick helped us communicate with the insurance company, patiently explained their products to us, helped select the best plans suitable for our financial situations, and even offering to provide some additional labors for the damaged house. He even helped us troubleshoot our check problems (we did the insurance payment check endorsement wrong the first time). They came in today to double check the areas that needed work, and planning out the work day. Vick carefully inspected the place, and went through the detailed implementations they are going to do for our roof. We are more than happy to hear about the very professional steps they will take to ensure quality of the finished roof. And one final key feature they offer is the warranty. For the windows, they have life time warranty for both the labor and the material. For the roof, they have 50 years for the material, and 10 years for the labor. I highly recommend this company, both for their service and for their product values. We really appreciate all the help Nick has provided, and we appreciate the professionalism of everyone we have met from the company!

Misleading salesmanship. Their door knocker offered free window estimate. Made an appointment for later that same day. Specifically told them I only wanted an estimate not a sales pitch. They assured me that was the plan. Then they called me 3 hours before the appointment to confirm my wife and I were both going to be there and they assured me they'd only need 60-90 minutes to tell me about their company, my window options, blah blah blah. I cancelled the appointment and free estimate.

Just got a roofing pre-installation inspection from Vick, he explained the process very well, scheduled the actual installation date, and the inspection was quick and easy.

Very pushy sales reps. Reps were going door to door in our neighborhood and were not respectful of our privacy. They were very pushy, and would not leave, after I repeatedly asked them to leave contact information as I was in the middle of a meeting and needed to go.

Getting ready to do some work on the house with Presidential Exteriors for the second time. While we're only in the planning stages on this project, Luke (who prepared the quote) and Vick (who will be managing the project) are both very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. On the previous job, the company employees were similarly helpful, the job was done very well, and they were meticulous about cleaning up. I'm glad to have them come to work on the house again!

We recently had new roof installed and we are very pleased with the results. Project Manager Vick and his team helped us with the entire process from scheduling to the actual roof installation. We are working with his team again for a couple more projects.

We had 16 windows and 2 sliding doors replaced by Presidential Exteriors today. Vick and the team of installers did an amazing job of getting all but one sliding door finished in just one day.

Update: I wanted to update the review now that we’ve had the windows for over a month. We got the high-end 7.0 windows and we can really tell the difference with both heat and sound. Standing in front of a directly sunlit window, it is mildly warm, unlike our old, builder-grade windows, which let a lot of radiant heat in. Our A/C didn’t have to struggle to keep up on the hottest week of the year, with high 90deg temps and the windows no longer whistle with strong winds.

The wildest part for me was that we didn’t notice for a few weeks just how quiet the windows were until I cracked a window in the bedroom and heard a neighbor’s small dog barking; we used to hear that dog off and on, all night long but, didn’t notice that we weren’t hearing it anymore until I opened a window one night.

We had an issue with three front windows smelling bad after every major rain and followed up with an email to Presidential Exteriors last week. I got a response within 24 hours, and an appointment scheduled for a few days later. Matt, the support team lead, came this morning and discovered a tricky source of water infiltration around the brick facade that I couldn’t find on my own. He fixed it and ensured everything else was installed properly and took the time to show me some tips for operating and caring for the windows. Matt is amazingly patient and clearly made for customer support! Seriously, I’ve never experienced better warranty support in my 26 years of home ownership!

Great company to work with! We got a new roof installed, and Vic and team did an amazing job. They came over the course of three days and were very thorough. Would absolutely recommend!

OK! So, the morning began with a miscommunication that absolutely left me looking my worst in a florid face fit of temper that I pretty much unleashed on everyone at Presidential. But with Jordan's sunny cheer and Vick's extremely calm demeanor, I quickly calmed to room temperature. Their willingness to do everything in their power to rectify our situation and make it completely right was beyond impressive. I was awed! And right they DID indeed make it as all the problems were resolved at no extra cost to us. THIS is the company to use beyond exception. You all really do ROCK!

We had French doors installed today by Presidential Exteriors, and we’re extremely happy with the experience from start to finish. The install team (three guys) arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and did a fantastic job — the doors look beautiful, and their attention to detail was clear.

Shortly after the installation, Project Manager Matt Vick stopped by to personally inspect the work, bring us cookies (such a thoughtful touch!), answer any questions, and walk us through next steps. His visit really added a personal, professional touch and left us feeling confident and well taken care of.

Avoid at all costs.

1st Order
From the very start it was like i was sold snake oil.
It took over 4 months to even get the company to properly agree on the parts and pieces of my order. This was for a complete replacement of all my doors and balcony entry. From here we started seeing the problems. Poor coordination, communication and we saw techs putting notes in our ticket being dishonest. Example is they stated they came onsite and we refused them for a checkup and I showed them my ring logs for the entire day. This gave them an excuse to sit on the order for days on end until we called to find out what was going on.

2nd Delivery
Parts were delivered without even a courtesy call to inform us when it was arriving and how to facilitate the space for the hardware. We had to yet again call back to get details. Again operaters placed notes in our ticket making it seem like they were attempting to get ahold of us.

3rd Installation
Not all the parts arrived. We didn't know this until install the date. Due to this I have to now set another install date.

As the current installation of the doors are occurring~ I honestly can't warn you enough how much pain, confusion and chaos this introduced for me and my wife. Its the type of relationship you only ever hear about.

7/2 update

They came back out again to install.
This is in follow up of Presidential failing to order the right parts.
Again we found out they failed to order the following:
-All my doors came with different keys... we specced this for the same key.
-They installed the sliding door with the wrong color frames (different then what we ordered)
-They installed the sliding door the wrong direction (something we decided just to deal with)
-There were more then 5-7 inch gaps between the door and frame in all sides... They covered it up with dry wall but the sizes do not look right sized.

So yet again another install date and again incorrect parts.

The company was very patient with my needs as customer and this is the second time I've contracted Presidential. They are very reliable and honest. They value the customer and it shows in every aspect, from Erica always keeping me updated with my project to Vick making sure I was completely satisfied and very well spoken. Alex the crew leader was amazing as well he finished 7 windows and 1 door in half a day. Everyone I've met from this company has gone above and beyond. Great company. Great product. Great attitude. They have everything I was looking for in a company. Thanks

We came to Presidential Exteriors when we noticed wet spot on the ceiling in our upstairs bathroom. Upon removing the damaged area we saw there was a hole in our roof! I called Ryan of Presidential and he started what was one of the most seamless and satisfying processes we ever could've asked for in getting our roof replaced!

Ryan put us in touch with Rodney who was the absolute best person we could've worked with for this process! Rodney helped us file a claim through our insurance for the damage to our roof. He was there every step of the way to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed. His professionalism and expertise gave us peace of mind and we ultimately were able to get our roof fully covered through insurance!

The scheduling process was super easy and the work was done quickly and efficiently. The on site team did a thorough job of cleaning up and ensuring they did the best work possible. Ryan, who was there in the beginning, was also there at the end to triple check that everything went perfectly and that we were satisfied!

The only hiccup was when our new skylight was installed it left a gap between the wall, however, the Presidential team did right by us and sent out Carlos a couple of days after the install to take care of that! Carlos did an incredible job and had the area looking brand new in under an hour!

Could not recommend this company enough as I know they stand by their work and take care of their customers!

The team was highly responsive to all my needs and requests. Vic really made it all come together: the special needs and requests, coordinating the various crews, and always going the second mile with an upstairs balcony that needed to be secured.

Super happy with the 25 new windows installed. The crew completed the job in one day which was amazing since one of the windows was 6’x10’. Delyar Abed made sure the quality was there at every step of the install.

Vince and team were very professional, clean and organized. Orlov and Vick were amazing inspectors! I am so happy with my new windows!

My sister and her husband had their windows replaced by Presidential and had only praise for the staff and quality of the windows! We had our windows done today and we are in total agreement!
From the minute Alex, Crew Foreman, arrived, he explained everything they would be doing, what floor they would be starting, covered his shoes so nothing would be tracked in the house, put down drop cloths, etc. to keep the house as clean as possible. He and staff were efficient, polite and very hard workers who got the job done in the time frame given us. They even vacuumed after they were done!
The Quality Assurance Manager, Orlov, was on site much of the time to make sure everything was perfect, as it all was, including explaining all warranties, showing us how to operate windows, etc.
Vic, Project Manager, also came out to make sure we were satisfied with the job!
We were so pleased with Presidential that we contracted them to replace our vinyl siding.
This company not only met our high expectations but, exceeded them! Kudos to Presidential!

I would like to start off and share that I had a lot of exterior work done by Presidential Exteriors. Full window replacement (30+ windows), aluminum flashing all around the exterior, new gutters all around, new vinyl siding, filler attic insulation to get up to code, and a few small additions. This was a multi-month process between ordering the parts, installation, and completion of various jobs.

Positives:
Presidential Exterior was overall a great experience. They were a little pricey, but you could tell they were well informed and had excellent products. The Project Managers were very easy to work with, and extremely accommodating if you had any questions or concerns as the installations were going on.

Negatives:
The first were some general obvious mistakes made by the crew and overall cleanup. A few damaged screens, dented aluminum, open gaps, weird caulking runs or missing caulk. But, as soon as I brought up the concerns the Project Managers were on top of it and scheduled fixes right away. The end result was a satisfactory product, but it would have been nice if it were cleaner the first time.

As expected the exterior of the house was a construction zone for a period of time. The window crew was pretty good about cleaning up inside, but I can't say the same for the exterior. They installed in the middle of winter and I spent multiple weekends after installation cleaning up nails, screws, sharp aluminum corners, siding, you name it. It would have been nice if they laid down some tarps as they worked because I had to go back after the fact and pick up tons of trash and debris myself.

Lastly I would have liked a bit more communication as I was waiting for the jobs to start. There were periods where I went 1-2 months without hearing from anyone and I was unsure if parts were on order, if the original installation days were still on schedule, or had to be moved. If I reached out they responded promptly, but I would have appreciated proactive communication.

Conclusion:
I have to say the overall work was a success. It was a lot of money (even with some negotiating) and I would have expected a more finished product from the start, but the fact that they were so quick to fix mistakes was very reassuring. I would definitely leverage this company in the future for any follow-up work.

I had three exterior doors replaced by Presidential Exteriors. My experience with the company has been great from my initiate meeting with James for the estimate and the selection of my doors to the installation, which was handled by Vick, Vince, and their crew. I was amazed at how well the installation went. If I could figure out a way to give them six stars on my review, I absolutely would.
The installation crew answered all of my questions, explained the mechanics of the new doors and made sure I was satisfied with the work along the way. They were incredibly organized and cleaned up as they worked on each door. They left my home and yard looking fantastic with no construction debris left behind. I appreciate their attention to detail and their concern with my satisfaction with installation. They did a great job.

I can’t remember the last time I interacted with a sales person or accompany that was warming and respectful. Jae was thorough in his explanations he understood my preoccupations and I appreciate the extent to which they tried to get me satisfied. Can’t wait to have the windows installed, will update my review then. But pretty sure they’ll be get a full 5 stars.

AVOID THESES SCAMMERS
These guys rang my doorbell 10 times and were extremely RUDE.
Lied about working on a job for my neighbor.
When I asked why he rang the bell 10 times he lied and said it must be my doorbell. My doorbell has a video camera showing 2 different men ringing the bell multiple times.
I had to ask them to leave several times before the grifters to get off my property. They would not show ID or produce a permit for canvassing in Fairfax County. They are obviously breaking the law by not getting a permit. I'll be reporting them to the county. They probably are not properly licensed as well. When a home improvement company lies to you, can you really trust them with your home?

My roof had been damaged by a storm. When it would rain hard the ceiling would start leaking through my light. My insurance company wanted to just repair not replace the roof but Rodney Lindenmayer came out took his time to do the necessary tests to show my insurance company that I needed a new roof. My insurance company paid to replace my roof from the test results. Rodney and his Presidential crew did an amazing job replacing my roof and fixing my ceiling. Thank you Presidential Exteriors
