We worked directly with Vincenzo to price and schedule the work. They were very reasonable and communicated with me each step of the way. Never sugar coated anything always told us what we needed to hear upfront. We added some decorative metal to the plan and had to work with the metal fabricator to pay for the metal and had no issues. I had a great experience with Seacoast Roofing and Exteriors. After getting several quotes I went with Seacoast because they gave me several price points to choose from, a solid warranty and a one-day turnaround.
The day of the work, the crew showed up early, got organized and set up the tarps which protected all my foundation plantings.
The dumpster arrived, the safety protocols were put in place and the crew didn’t stop (except for lunch) until the work was completed.

Due to an estimating error, a bit more product was needed, and Seacoast actually absorbed the cost. This was several hundred dollars that could have been charged to us but wasn’t. I really appreciated this.

We first met Vincenzo when we had an ice dam that backed up and was leaking into the house. He came right over and instructed us what to do until Richard and Joe could get here. When they came they worked until after dark to get the ice dams cleared and roof shoveled. Then they all came back to put on a new roof, which included new plywood and rafters. They worked hard for two long days, finished it up and did a great job! We are very pleased with the outcome and appreciate their hard work and conscientiousness.

I bought my first house a few years ago and just had snow and ice removed from my roof by Seacoast and roofing and exterior. I was very nervous about having my roof worked on. I had my ridge cap repaired after major wind event in April '24. In January '25 I've noticed couple of shingles came loose. Very next day after contacting seacoast roofing, the crew showed up and fixed the problem. Upon examination they determined that couple of shingles failed to seal properly. This company stands behind their work and slogan, jobs done right. I highly recommend, and will use them fo my future needs.

They got the plywood replaced and new shingles up in a day and sent a clean up crew the following morning to pick up any excess debris. Great service and terrific ROI. I was very impressed with this company, which installed a new roof on our house. Every person with whom I interacted was conscientious, and focused on doing high quality work. I've got a beautiful roof, but it was a long experience.. Had a huge pine tree fall on our roof last March, cracking and heaving many rafters and poking a number of holes thru roof. Got tree removed next day and Seacoast was wonderful - did an awesome patch job the very next day that held thru some miserable weather until roof finally got repaired. My only hesitation in recommending wholeheartedly is that it was almost six months before roof was done. Some of the delay was unavoidable - mold was discovered, spring was horribly rainy, July heat was intolerable - but it made for a nerve racking summer. But when it did get done, it was done very well. Rafters were all removed on back so they could be brought up to code, more rotten wood was discovered once inside and that was all fixed, shingles were matched beautifully where patches were done on the front. I just hope that's the last roof work we need for a long time!

Seacoast Roofing and Exteriors did a superlative job on our roof! Not only is their work going to protect our house from the elements, but it has breathed new life into this old structure. The folks at Seacoast Roofing were professional from start to finish—and I especially appreciated how patient they were with us, as our family’s schedule is hectic. Work was done thoroughly, and I received text updates throughout the job’s execution.

I have had a leak so bad that water was streaming from my ceiling. I know that roof leaks are frustrating for contractors. In fact one contractor came out, inspected with a drone and said they thought they had a solution. They never got back to me or returned my call. Seacoast Roofing sent out a person to inspect my roof. He actually went up on the roof identified the problem and noted sogginess indicating more extensive damage, of course a drone can't diagnose that. He put together a thorough proposal including an area of melted siding that should be replaced. The person who did the repairs was very courteous but more importantly extremely conscientious, again very thorough. As he repaired the areas, he also saw where my previous roof replacement contractors (10 years ago) had installed the flashing incorrectly and corrected that mistake. When I inevitably need a complete roof replacement I will be using Seacoast Roofing.

I had Seacoast roofing here last year for some repairs and they were great. A few weeks ago, I noticed a few loose shingles, and gave them a call again as I am not in a condition to get up on a roof... They came within a few days and went up and repaired the loose shingles. When I asked for cost, the roofer said no worries, no charge for this as it was a quick fix.

The owners, manager, foreman and the crew who physically did the work had many
challenges.
Our multi use building is located in downtown Portsmouth on the corner of Market Street and Commercial Alley.
We were replacing a rubber roof in the back section of the building and replacing
the broken slate tiles and redoing all the copper which was in the front section and side section.
I always thought the rubber roof was flat,
but once the crew got up there, they related that the rubber roof was pitched and suggested 50 year asphalt shingles instead of rubber. We agreed which meant they had to get sheathing and shingles and return the rubber roof materials. They removed 3 layers of old roofing and had the debris removed.
There were loose bricks which they were able to strengthen with mortar.
They removed a 30’ copper gutter, which had too many holes in it and it needed to be replaced.
They replaced it with a new one.
The mean, maniacal neighbor abutting our building assumed that we were not going to replace the gutter.
He was extremely rude to the crew and gave Seacoast Roofing a terrible review which was unjustified!!
Besides the crazy neighbor, there were other obstacles. They had to coordinate obtaining the proper lift, providing a police detail, obtaining the materials, having the proper crew and having conducive weather.
Seacoast Roofing had great communication skills and kept me informed all along the way.
The crew was phenomenal!!
The job took a few days longer and was completed and it all looks terrific!!!

I'm envious of all the great reviews here because my experience was essentially the worst experience I've had in 20 years of home ownership. I won't go into all the details but the simple facts are that: 1) Despite the job just being 2.5 weeks or so of work, it wasn't completed until 8 months after I signed the contract (wondering about the other reviews where they were able to "fit you in"). 2) The initial job was so poorly scoped (or deliberately low-balled) initially back in September that the final invoice was 4x what the original estimate was.

Throughout the process I feel that what I was told by the contractor was not what was communicated back to the crew or the home office in terms of both timing, size of change orders, and desire to stay on budget, etc. Unlike other reviewers, this very much feels like a situation where they took advantage of the situation.

The only reason this isn't a 1-star review is that I'm being gracious enough to admit that the quality of the work was very good and the professionalism of the crews when on-site were exemplary.

EDIT: Yes, I flatly refused the full roof replacement because I received a rushed call that suggested that the fix was going to simply be a little repair around the flashing. Only when I had a crew show up 2 days before Christmas Eve was I then informed that it was meant to be a full roof replacement. This was my point where the communication to me seemed to be very different to the crew and the home office.

The reason I chose Seacoast is because of all of their 5 star ratings and good reviews. The 5 star ratings are all deserved. This company is polite, they answer phone calls almost immediately, texts in minutes and are very professional. They are true to their word, use high quality products with long warranties and do amazing work! They replaced my shingled and rubber roofs in a single day and it looks great! They sent me pictures showing the progress of the work throughout the day. I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend them if you need a new roof!

Wow. It has been a week since Seacoast Roofing & Exteriors, LLC finished installing my new GAF Timberline HDZ Hunter Green roof! Everyday since I wake up knowing I picked the best company with which to contract.

Working with Vincenzo, Gerry, and Creed reduced my anxiety throughout the entire process. Vincenzo visited often during the installation and he answered all of my dozens of questions. As a homeowner and ultimately curious person, he patiently gave me a clear understanding of every step of the installation!

It seems silly but everyday when the sunlight shines on my new roof, I love the appearance of the Hunter Green color. I also know that my house is protected from wind, snow and rain because the exceptional shingles were installed by a professional GAF Certified company.

Owning a nearly 200 year home has its challenges. I know Seacoast has the experience and expertise to do the job correctly. As usual with older homes, surprises always lurk in the unseen recesses of the house. Vincenzo informed me of surprising facts about my old roof that really required a knowledgeable company to handle. Imagine my shock when I was told that my home had three layers of shingles plus wooden shakes under everything! I am the only living homeowner to see the exterior of my naked roof in nearly a hundred years or more! Needless to say, the barn board roof had to be found under all of this old roofing: I was looking at over a dozen tons of debris!

Another fact I faced was that a new roof needs a continuous solid surface to ensure that every nail (6 per shingle) was driven into a solid substrate. The spacing between my old barn boards would not guarantee that every nail and therefore shingle was firmly nailed down. Another surprise I faced was the fact that I needed new plywood to cover the barn board and they needed to be nailed to my rafters!

One theme that kept reverberating in my thoughts: do it right the first time so I won't have problems in the future. If an installer had cut corners to reduce the work and costs, I would have unknowingly accepted an inferior roofing installation that would have given me headaches in just a few years!

With the correct installation of the multiple materials that go into a superior roof system - a complex integration of many products, I am truly satisfied with the workmanship of Seacoast Roofing & Exteriors. The expertly installed Ice & Water Shield, Underlayment, Starter Shingles, Snow Ventilation System, and Ridge Cap Shingles including new flashing and drip guards was an amazing process to watch!

P.S. Creed dropped by late in the day soon after the roof was completed. He drove from Maine to my house in Nashua. I asked to have a loose piece of scrap shingle removed from the roof; the wind would have blown it off. He remove the piece of shingle. Although the lateness of the hour, he asked me if I wanted him to remove a cable wire no longer active and remove a downspout. This kind of personal care is outstanding!
