Brandon and the team at Newman Homes did a great job at expanding my one car garage to a two car garage. They did exactly what I wanted, and the some.

Very quick, efficient, and enjoyable to work with. Everyone was so friendly, and I was so pleased with the way the roof came out!

I watched Newman homes do a stellar job on my neighbors homes . I decided then they where the crew that I wanted. I contacted Brandon of Newman homes for estimates on work we wanted done . Estimates where reasonable for new windows, siding ,doors , roofing and few other small jobs. Workmanship was no less that perfect . We are completely satisfied with our home . Our heating oil consumption is a lot less .we had a couple small issues after completion, one call Brandon had workers here within hours . I would recommend Newman homes for any aspect of home improvements, remodeling and new construction.

We were very pleased with the extensive home remodel we contracted with Newman homes. Brandon was always very fair with any adjustments to our fixed price contract, and we were quite happy with the outcome. Even after final payment Brandon continued to be responsive and addressed small warranty issues. I highly recommend talking with Newman Homes, and would work with them again.

We needed to build a house for our son near Brunswick Maine. After finding the lot we turned to Brandon and Newman Homes to build the house. We gave him a house plan that worked for us and he returned after a few days with buildable plans, which included a number of suggestions that improved the final build.

The house was built on budget and several weeks under schedule. We found Brandon to be approachable and eager to listen to our concerns and suggestions. He was willing to meet in person or on the phone to discuss issues and responded to our calls and emails in a timely manner. Although he was very busy he never made us feel as though we were taking too much of his time.

When issues arose, Brandon either had a good explanation or when it was his (or his subs) error he always told us he would make it right - which he did. An example: We called out a type of insulation for the roof. We discovered the subs installed an inferior type. Brandon immediately admitted it was his oversight and immediately removed and replaced the product. That would have been expensive for him. Happily, we came to a comprise which worked well for both of us.

Throughout the administrative process from drawing up the Construction contract, discussing any change orders, to the billing process the staff at Newman Homes was friendly, responsive and timely.

We have built several houses over the years and have had experiences with numerous contractors - some of these experiences went well and other not so much. However, our experience with Brandon and Newman Homes was, by far, the best.

I find it hard to believe that it has been near 5 years since moving into this Newman built home. And, I still absolutely love it. The construction took place during a difficult time in my life, and Brandon was always available to guide me through the process. I have nothing but kind words of praise and clearly have no difficulty sharing my whole hearted recommendation!

Business does awful work and doesn’t honor contract! When bring issues to their attention all they care about is being paid before issues are addressed. Business knocked out power during siding demo, blamed it on being “not up to code”. Sent out someone unlicensed who couldn’t find the issue (sat in is truck every time he was on site on the phone) before sending a master electrician who found issue in 30m and is trying to charge us for 24hr of work when the unlicensed individual was here for 9 (generously) at $150 and hour. Won’t sent itemized document of time “electrician” spent though I was on site to see how long. 9hrs max! Electrical was also knocked out in unattached garage and they are unwilling to fix. We lost a chest freezer full of food due to this! What was put back together after siding was done almost started a fire when light turned on. Work incomplete and looks awful and wanting payment. Receptacles replaced were not attached correctly and wires pulled so far they are broken. We had to bring up several things to them like not matching trim! Rude office staff and owner. Zero communication. Don’t waste your time or money.

Due to multiple issues, we had last summer with a contractor, we started looking early for a company to side our home. Newman Homes came right out and gave an estimate. From the office staff to the gentlemen installing the siding, everyone has been kind, courteous, and respectful. They treated our home as if it was theirs- they always cleaned up their materials and were even respectful when I was trying to sleep (I work overnights at a hospital). Unfortunately, our American Bulldog (our baby) was having medical issues and expenses were tight during this time. There was work that needed to be done on the house that we couldn't afford- after talking to Brandon, they completed the work free of charge. We cannot even explain how much we appreciated what NEWMAN HOMES has done for us. Our home looks amazing!
