My Painter & Exteriors

I would like to share the wonderful experience my wife and I had with My Painter & Exteriors. We recently purchased a new home that required a complete interior repainting with drywall touch up. I’m pleased to report from day one this company was responsive, honest, communicative, and professional. The quality of the work is to the professional standard all painting companies should strive but rarely master. If you are in need of painting work, I am happy to recommend this company.

I have used MyPainter twice now and fully recommend them. The company is reliable and professional. They repaired significant damage to the exterior of our home that was caused by a painter who charged me a lower rate several years ago and did a poor job. The team was friendly, respectful, efficient and careful. I will use them again.

Augusto and his crew painted two rooms and a plaster ceiling. They were personable, professional, and hard working. We were very happy with their work. Highly recommend!

My Painter just finished a big job for my church, carpentry repairs and repainting our steeple! I can't recommend these guys enough! They worked so hard, high up in the air (in a 150' lift!), working 12+ hour days, and the results were great! We are super grateful for their hard and excellent work!

The entire experience with My Painter was very positive. I reached out to ask for an estimate and heard back in 12 hours. The estimate was thorough and itemized. The process is very smooth. The business manager reached out to tell us who was supervising our job, how to pick paint colors, when we were scheduled, etc. The crew, led by Sebastian, showed up on time, were so polite and very skilled at prep, repairs and painting. The quality of the work is outstanding. This is the best painting job we have had in 39 years living our home. Thanks to all at My Painter!

We hired My painter for house painting. They did exterior touchups and the entire interior of our house. Additionally, they did power washing and gutter cleaning.This was before we were putting it up for sale.
The entire team from My Painter was great to work . Communication was very good. We had additions to the original contract along the way as we found some things we wanted to improve upon in the house. They were able to accommodate our requests.

Oscar and his team were wonderful to work with! We had several drywall and trim repairs along with several rooms that needed significant prep before painting. Their attention to detail was outstanding! They are also really nice people! We will most certainly have them come back to do additional work!

We had My Painter & Exteriors out for an estimate in September 2024. After recieving the proposal we ended up deciding to push the project. After following up with Harrison and team in March 2025, they honored the original proposal and sent out a team within 2 weeks. In addition, they were able to knock out some prior punch work from a previous contractor that we were never satisfied with there work. They were also able to color match a last minute project the day they were scheduled. The team sent to complete the project was extremely knowledgable, punctional and helpful in all things paint. We really enjoyed workiong with Harrison & Elian, they can't come more highly recommended then this team.

Excellent communication throughout, had our siding fixed / replaced and painted. They were extremely helpful in helping with color selection and matching and worked independently and flawlessly with our other contractor for gutters. Would recommend.

They did an excellent job painting my basement and putting wallpaper on an accent wall. They were timely, professional, well priced and did an amazing job. I’d highly recommend them for any house painting projects.

I can’t say enough about these folks. Harrison and Jennifer were fantastic to work with, always on the ball and making sure things were going smoothly before and during the work. They also do so much more than painting, I had some minor electrical work done, light fixtures replaced, and some minor carpentry work in addition to paint. They really can do it all and the crews do a great job. Will be referring anyone who asks for a quality contractor to them!

They did super quality work, were friendly, on time, and honest. One of worker accidentally scratched the window. They promptly came back and replaced the window for free after this (I was only hoping for a small credit). I highly recommend as I had a very good experience with them (especially compared to other contractors).

This was my first experience with MyPainter. The service I received was exceptional from the start with Jackson Edwards to the finish with Basilu and his two men team. Everything from start to finish ran smoothly and professionally. The painters did a beautiful job. They were perfectionist in every respect. I appreciated their clean-up afterwards. My Painter did our holiday lights and they look BEAUTIFUL! we get so many compliments! They were incredibly helpful, super responsive, and offered a very fair price for the job. So happy we went with them!

Peter and his team did an excellent job: Paint entire exterior of brick 2-story, remove and replace shutters, replace ornamental "S" hooks, repair a hole and adjacent rot/damage in the soffit. The attention to detail was exceptional, and it was no small amount of work. No shortcuts were taken - he replaced the shutters and S-hooks properly. Painting quality was really very good. Upon close inspection, there were 3 small spots that needed additional attention. Peter came out and not only painted them, but re-scraped/sanded those spots, did additional work nearby that I didn't call for because he thought they could have done better, and painted them well. He used top-quality product, completed the project in a timely manner, and I am thoroughly satisfied with the results. I wish all painters in my past had been so good! I will definitely re-hire for future needs. Thank you for your professional service, and job well done!

Unfortunately We hired them to place Christmas lights on my house and paid $300 advance. Job was not done on specific date we asked for. They gave some excuse— too busy and they promised to come next day. Next day they did NOT even show up. Not even a CALL. We got hold of receptionist later that day and receptionist telling us bunch excuses like cannot hold of the work crew, raining etc and asked for next day again. Yeah it rain for few mins very early in the morning. Lesson: don’t pay ahead of time and don’t do business with this place. Be ready for excuses.

My Painters did a fantastic job with our living room and kitchen! Peter, our team lead, was exceptionally detail-oriented and very patient with our last-minute suggestions. We will definitely call My Painters again for our next painting project!

We are very happy with the professional work Peter, Ismael & Junior did painting some interior portions of our townhouse. They negotiated some very high ceilings, patched a few large holes in the walls, and fixed an attic entry (see the before and after pictures posted)

They did a great job. Paint and carpentry work looks great. Their crew was on time, courteous, friendly, and they cleaned up after themselves. We've hired them for a second job on another property. I highly recommend them.

This was the first time using the company for a paint job of our home. We had obtained a few estimates and they were the lowest in price - not only that, they did a wonderful job, the place looks brand new. After receiving bids from three reputable paint companies, we selected My Painters for the professionalism and thoroughness of the estimate provided by Harrison. The job performance by the paint crew, led by Peter, was just as professional. The crew arrived every morning on time and were neat and courteous throughout the week-long project which involved interior painting (walls, ceilings, doors and trim) of our 3-level home. The results were nearly perfect. Where we did need a few touch-ups, My Painter was happy to return and address the issues. Jen in their front office was always available and responsive and kept us updated each day of the project. I highly recommend My Painters for your painting projects!!!

My Painters two painters that came to prep and paint the trim on my Dutch Colonial were painting ninjas. They were quiet and took care of their business efficiently. After opening a few doors for them in the morning, they were on their way. Very happy with the quality and quickness of the job, at a very fair price.

Wow, what a great experience. Harrison Edwards runs a tight ship and runs it very well. His staff are punctual, skilled, meticulous, careful. Work included interior and exterior painting (2nd story Juliette balconies). Everything is perfect! Excellent communication. The operations manager, Jen, called me daily with progress reports. Would hire again, would recommend to a friend! Some "before" photos here - the "after" has to be seen to truly appreciate what a good job they did!

Highly recommend for both interior and exterior work which I had done this month on my house as I prepared it for sale. Harrison (owner) provided sound recommendations on must do items and provided fair estimates for work (I got several estimates). Workers were outstanding and did an excellent job, both inside and outside of house. They were on time each day, precise in outdoor repairs, and painting in and outside of my house. Extremely thankful for such an excellent experience regarding cost, great workers, and several jobs extremely well done.

Great team to work with! Jordan was great when it came to communication. They were able to fit me in their schedule to get my apartment done quickly and efficiently. Would definitely use them again for any future paint jobs needed.

My Painter replaced the soffit, fascia, and gutters around our roof after we found squirrels getting into our attic. They did an excellent job! The communications from Jen were wonderful to have re: their scheduling. They were very conscientious as far as our neighbors were concerned and the clean up from the job. Daniel, the lead person, was great! (P.S. they took good care of the baby squirrels they found in a nest and we were able to bring them to a rescue place to be saved). I would highly recommend My Painter!

We hired My Painter to complete a full interior wall and ceiling paint before moving into our new home. The experience was great from start to finish. The price was competitive, the process highly organized and the final product fantastic. I loved the software they used to generate and edit quotes, tying in floorplans and pictures to make it incredibly clear what work was in scope. Jen was fantastic to work with- a great communicator, quick and thorough responses. We always felt like we were in great hands with her leading us through the project. We're very pleased with the quality of the work. They even came in to do final touch ups, leaving everything better than expected. We had a terrible experience when we did a full interior house paint project with another company in a different town and this experience was night and day! I highly recommend My Painter.

This is the second time I've used "My Painters and Exteriors." I hired them the second time because they did such an excellent job, at a very fair price the first time (see my prior review). This time was no different. They pleasantly do what they say they will do, and do a great job! Again, the price was very fair. This company is a pleasure to do business with. You get even more than you pay for, and when they leave you feel like it was worth every penny. I highly recommend them.

We are very happy with the work of My Painter. We used My Painter to paint the exterior of our house, which is stucco, and decided to go with them not only because they gave us a reasonable quote but also because they mentioned pre-drilling holes for some trim work we wanted as well (none of the other painting companies seemed as familiar with working with stucco). Overall, the process was smooth, the results are beautiful, and we couldn't be happier. I was also very impressed with the communication, which included daily emails with what the crew finished each day, and the projected start time for the following day.

We are very impressed with the work and attention to detail here. We had a big job with multiple rooms and lots of trim and everything looks fantastic. They were quick and efficient, getting it all done in under three days while we traveled. They were communicative and kept us informed as they worked. When we came home, it was like a new house.

My Painter did a quality job painting two bedrooms and two bathrooms, including extensive post-renovation drywall repairs in the bathrooms.

Very professional work and -- from what I've been told by neighbors and my very experienced handyman -- all done at a reasonable price. I chose My Painter because they were comfortable with doing the carpentry work I needed on some siding, window frames, etc. and crew chief, Pedro, especially, worked tirelessly and skillfully to address this.

We are so happy we chose MyPainter for our painting and window cleaning needs! We moved into a new home and wanted to repaint some bathrooms and needed a few minor touch ups and they completed everything in a day! The process of getting the quote to scheduling was all very smooth and communicative. We will be working with them again for all our future painting needs. They were also able to wash all the windows of our 4 story townhouse (interior and exterior) in the same day as the painting!

Sebastian and his crew were great. They arrived each morning at the time they said they would arrive. They were very professional and ensured they understood what was to be completed. Ted came by the first day to check the progress and followed up each day with an email outlining what had been completed and what would be completed the next day. The job was completed in the time promised.

From the initial estimate appointment to the finished product, My Painter & Exteriors were wonderful. They actually made home improvement enjoyable! Harrison was knowledgeable, professional, and responsive during the initial estimate meeting. Ted was very flexible with our ever-changing schedules. And the team that replaced our shutters and painted our garage door and storm doors color matched the garage door to the shutters and the storm doors and garage trim to our house color. We are thrilled with the results! The crew, led by Daniel, showed up right on time each morning, worked very, very hard during the hottest week of the summer and finished a day early. They power washed, repaired multiple areas of decayed wood, painted our two story house and cleaned up all traces of their work. Harrison even highlighted a clematis vine that I've been growing for three years against the house for special care so that it wouldn't be damaged during their work. We've been receiving non-stop compliments from our neighbors. I highly recommend My Painter--they do exceptional work!

Our house needed an interior refresh, along with some paint repairs and also exterior repainting. MyPainters did an outstanding job both inside and out. They arrived just when they said they would every day and the team was professional, friendly, and efficient.

My Painter put up Christmas lights on the roofline. They look great-I'm so happy, especially since they will take them down and take the lights at the end of the season. Reasonably priced, too. I recommend!

Finding good people to work on your carpentry and painting needs is difficult at the best of times and sometimes it takes years of searching to find the right people. Well, after years of hit or miss times dealing with various businesses, I was referred to My Painter last year. Their work was superb as was their communication with us. We needed some work done recently. Harrison again came and gave is an estimate for the job and arrived right on time. We were kept informed during the whole process on timing and when the carpenter, Oscar, would be here. All the work was done right on schedule. I have nothing but high praise for My Painter and the people who work for the company. I highly recommend them for your job - big or small.

Update 10/2/23: Still five stars! I had My Painter do another project on a separate condominium residence. Getting any work done in the condo is very difficult with approvals and guidelines that workers must follow. My Painter personnel made the process very easy and I did not have to worry about anything. They worked directly with building management as needed for getting project materials in and out of the condo, and I had no complaints from neighbors. The condo was tired and in need of a refresh, and is now totally transformed by the popcorn ceiling removal, wall fixes and painting that they did. The pricing is incredibly reasonable as well and the quality is top notch.

Update 9/29/22: We had My Painter return to match railing stain to new floors and to paint the interior walls of the house, top to bottom. It was, as expected, another five-star experience. They worked with us to match the stain. The crew was pleasant and efficient. They had project managers on site frequently to check in and do a final walkthrough. The quality of the work is very good, including giving our dinged up walls "clean slate" appearance - like brand new. Highly recommend for all painting needs!

We had a five-star experience from start to finish with this company. They were responsive to my first inquiry and set up a consult very quickly. At the consult we got an estimate and rough schedule. Their turnaround time for painting the exterior of the house was a few days, with thoughtful scheduling around weather, etc. The job itself looks terrific, and they helped make recommendations on colors and paint finish. They did complete finishing work as well, including filling in holes on the brick where shutters were removed. We will be using them in the future for our interior painting job when that time comes. I cannot recommend this company enough and would not look elsewhere.

Absolutely THE BEST customer service experience we’ve had in 20 years of home ownership! My Painter’s owner, Harrison Edwards, and his entire team are incredibly communicative, professional, and the quality of the work is excellent. They painted our entire exterior, including gutters, doors, and windows, meticulously repaired wood rot, painted and wallpapered several interior rooms, and repaired water damage to ceilings and a bathroom’s walls. The entire experience was amazing and we look forward to years of projects with their fantastic team. Updating to note the excellent work My Painter did for us, including carpentry to address wood rot, is still in great shape two years later!

UPDATE: This is the fourth time I've used My Painter and these guys are GREAT. Clear communication, and the painting they did this time was impeccable. I'm never painting anything myself again. Theirs is so crisp and clean, mine looks like a five year did it by comparison!

Great from start to finish! 4 quotes and My Painter was in the middle. I was impressed with the quoter's knowledge, but esp impressed with Ted, who worked with me on paint colors & even came and painted a swatch on my fence the day before. Great crew. EDITED TO ADD - I liked them so much with our first house that when we moved ten minutes away and I needed my fence painted at my next house, I hired them again and got the same great service! They not only stained my fence but I also had them paint the entire finished basement, including removing a wall of built in cabinets and putting up drywall, which they did efficiently, quickly, and under budget. Back to the fence: My fence is gorgeous. Unfortunately, two years later a teenager had a wreck and crashed through one section of my fence with their SUV. My Painter not only quoted me for the repainting, they were also able to send a carpenter to do the actual mending of the fence, and then paint it. They were extremely communicative ab out the change of plans due to weather (you can't paint in the rain!). Now that it's done, you can't even tell which section of the fence was replaced, somehow they matched the newly stained section to the bordering two-years-of-weathering sections. It's so seamless than when my daughter came home she said "oh, the new section has a crooked board though," and i looked and she was looking at the old section next to it - she couldn't tell which part was new! (the new sections was straight LOL).
