Joel did and exceptional job repairing my ceiling after a water leak. Top notch work and very responsive and kept me up to date on each step. Highly recommend.

Wonderful! Got that “chirping” sound that smoke alarms make..one upstairs and one in the basement. I’ve recently had major surgery, and knew that ladders were not happening. Called and they came within an hour! Batteries changed out-no more chirps! So grateful.

The technician was fast in getting the project complete. Now I have my beautiful outdoor kitchen in time for my party in May 2025.

I chose Mr Handyman based on it's reviewed. They were prompt in their response and sent Mike out to give me an estimate. He finished the work the same day. I am very happy to get this done. It was basically little things, but a big improvement for me. Mike couldn't have been nicer. I like service people who talk about their children.

Scott was on time, fixed our issue compitently and in a short period of time. He was pleasant and offered to do more as he had an hour on the job that we had paid for.

I didn’t have a handyman that I trusted when my issue came up, so I took a chance on this company. The whole experience was really wonderful. They were prompt, kind and honest. What I called about turned out to be beyond their scope. They gave me a good recommendation and didn't charge me, which really surprised me. I have been charged in that situation several times in my life by different companies for home repair things. I will absolutely call them again AND recommend them to my friends and neighbors, FOR SURE!

Mr. Handyman’s service representative / technician arrived to our home to do a survey for required labor / parts and provided a cost estimate. Then he returned on another day to complete the required work. He was very punctual and professional. He did an excellent job on caulking two bathtubs and caulking and painting a kitchen pantry! Overall, Mr. Handyman of Fredericksburg was a pleasure to work with, they were accommodating regarding scheduled arrivals and sent an outstanding technician to do great work at a reasonable cost! I plan on contacting them in the near future for additional work in our home. Thank you Mr. Handyman of the Fredericksburg Region!

Mike was great and knowledgeable of our electrical and drywall needs. He was on time and paid great attention to detail. Good people to work with especially when you have a long honey doo list.

Friendly, helpful, and skilled workers. This company is my go-to help for my home projects that I need to get done and I have always been pleased with the work that has been done.

I called and had to leave a message with an answering service that I needed someone to clean my gutters. I explained I had gutter guards that were clogged from pollen and other stuff that every spring falls from an oak tree that overhangs the back of my house. Soon after I get a message that you don’t provide service for fallen oak trees on a house. I called back and again got the answering service and said I did not have a tree on my house but clogged gutter screens. She said she would pass on my message. Did not hear back.

Ed came out and did a good job for us. You guys are getting kind of expensive. A lot of people are putting off getting work done as money is tight... Maybe consider lowering your prices some..

I have tried many other services of this sort, but Mr. Handyman's service has by far surpassed each of the others. The process was simple, they took the time to understand my project needs, and the Technician was professional and knowledgeable. I will certainly be calling on Mr. Handyman for my future projects!

BACK FOR REVIEW #2 - Again - outstanding service & reasonable price. This time I had a list of complicated jobs that needed to get done. Eduardo expertly repaired and replaced a door frame, a complicated door handle system, exterior electronic door combo, garbage disposal, foundation vents, & a 4-hole kitchen faucet. He also repaired a French faucet we had been unable to use for years because we couldn't find anyone who could fix it. Now it looks and works great! So happy I found a company we can count on for what seems like any job! Thanks again!

Quick response and quality service. Their technician helped me drop off old water heater to Home Depot, picked a new one and installed it. They found out that new one was defective and leaking, they took it back and picked a replacement one and brought it back without any additional charges. From their office team to answer calls on time to their technicians, They went above and beyond with reasonable price.

First guy didn't work out, showed up very late first time, didn't communicate that he wasn't coming second time, didn't call to notify. Replacement guy came next day and did a great job.

Joel repaired a bathroom ceiling that had been improperly painting during a renovation. He scraped, sanded and spackled all the cracks after peeling the old layers off. He recommended the correct paint for a bathroom ceiling and the end result is beautiful.

I contact Mr. Handyman to see about exterior door repair. Their technician Mike was awesome from the quote to the repair. I will be using them again for other repairs.

The contractor that came over was 20 minutes late, but that wasn't an issue. When he arrived, we went over all the needs for the home that needed servicing. That took about 40 minutes. He was only able to put together office furniture. They charged me for the first hour where he was late arriving and the time we went over costs. That was an extra $100 that shouldn't have been added to the bill. I called and emailed the office twice to correct the start time of service. They stated the owner would call back, and he/she never did. Unprofessional and unpleasant experience. Also, the owner is very bias on payment types. Only cash or a saved card on file is accepted. Lastly, and you will be automatically enrolled in their physical spam mail. Just run from this company all togther.

Quick response on our inquiry via the web form. Our specialist Joel was communicative, on time, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the repair jobs we sought (mainly drywall but some exterior work). He quickly sized up our jobs, explaining what he'd be doing, including the costs, materials, and his approach to the repairs. Everything happened just as he explained, with superb results, and he was extremely tidy too -- it's such a bonus when folks clean up well after the work is done! The billing and payment process was super-easy and I would definitely use this service again.

I’m very impressed with the amount of professionalism from this company. From the start they have been courteous on the phone and very prompt in responding. Their communication alerts lets you know when someone is on their way and also gives you their name and work bio. We had a few odd jobs done around the house. All of the work was done with quality craftsmanship. We have them coming in soon to replace a French door and to work on our deck. The price is reasonable and fair. They are also very good about recommending local partner businesses such as who to buy our door from and who to contact for additional work outside of their realm. I highly recommend this company. They are the best I’ve worked with in many years.

Mike is a highly skill professional and his work was beautiful. He is courteous and a pleasure to speak and do business with. I really appreciated his initial assessment and knew exactly what I wanted and needed for me home. Mike installed safety / porch railings on the front porch steps and grab bars in my shower. I highly recommend Mr. Handyman and Mike specifically.

Very disappointed in this company’s service. My first estimate was simply a total price for repairs. I contacted the office for a breakdown of repairs and received an email that simply broke down materials and labor. No description of exactly what would be done. So I relied on what the technician told me during the initial visit. What a mistake. The installation was cancelled twice and on the third date of installation I received a phone call from the office inquiring when I would have the flooring installed (I was told by the technician he would do this). Very disappointed. My advice is if you use this company, make sure you get everything they intend to do IN WRITING.

Mike was extremely professional and genuinely seemed like he was looking out for my best interests. Very honest and professional company, I would certainly use them again.

I was very pleased with the response time and service of Mr. Handyman. They repaired aging deck post footers for one my listing clients. I plan to use them again for personal and professional needs.

Cleaned our outdoor dryer and bathroom vents and placed bird cages over all four. Birds had been nesting in the vents.

I had three tasks, repair dishwasher, install NEST Thermostat and repair kitchen outlet.My original appointment was in a week and i got a call about an opening and asked if I wanted the work completed earlier. Heck Yes I said. Additionally, he showed up 30 mins earlier than i was told which I loved. Extremely professional and very thorough, he talked me through everything that he was doing so there was no surprises. Loved his work and will def call Mr. Handyman again. Great price too!!

They replaced the stairs to the attic - we have used them for years and have always been highly satisfied with the quality of their work

It was a great experience. I had previously hired 2 different people to build sturdy handrails on our garage steps without success. The first time my husband who has MS leaned against the rail and it broke. the second time the person made the handrails so wide that they were impossible to grasp and they were not steady. William, an employee of Mr. Handyman of Fredericksburg came and built 2 perfect handrails. He listened to what was needed and had great ideas on how to make the rails safe and usable. My husband recently had chemo and uses a walker and I am with him when he uses the stairs but I am no longer afraid the rails will break and both of us ends up on the concrete floor. I highly recommend this company and have hired them to do my deck. Thank you William, you have given us one less worry.

William Crandall is the best master carpenter ever. He is a consummate craftsman, and is conscientious about his work. If only his company would recognize that they cannot schedule him to turn on a dime, because he takes his time to do it right and the stellar results show. He is simply a superior professional.

We had a sunroom door that needed repaired immediately since it was a safety concern. Mr. Handyman was able to fit me into the schedule the same day and the technician that came out was very professional, efficient, and did an excellent job repairing our door.
