M&M did an amazing job on my roofing project. They were fantastic at communicating, and they were fast and efficient. They even replaced my gutters. I’ve never worked with a better contractor.

Andrew is the best! My business was having water coming in and he came out so fast, did all measurements, gave me options and temporarily fixed my problem until a permanent solution could be done. He made this happen fast and I could not be more grateful! Thank you again!

Working with M&M was a good experience, Everyone was professional and courteous. My project (replacement siding on the house and garage)was completed in a timely manner. The only issue,I experienced was finding Copious nails throughout the yard, driveway, front and back porch.

They were great from start to finish. They do a very good job of keeping you updated on what they have on order for you. Everyone that came out was extremely friendly and professional. They also do a great job of cleaning up. I would highly recommend M &M to anyone looking to do a home improvement project. I will defiantly be contacting them the next time I want something done.

We purchased a roof 7 years ago along with the Platinum Warranty from Owens Corning. We had a shingle defect and were able to get this new roof at no cost to us. If you are in the market for a new roof, be sure your contractor is one that can offer the best warranties in the industry like M&M. They did a fantastic job! From protecting my property at the start of the project, all the way through to the clean up, they were careful and conscientious. They worked very hard in the heat and were careful to not leave the roof exposed when their were ominous looking clouds. Although rain wasn't in the forecast, 30 minutes after they left was a downpour and there were no issues with the new roof.

The salesman Ryan was very professional,explaining everything thoroughly about the job to be done., without any pressure or typical "sales" tactics. He is an asset to M&M Remodeling.

Crew worked hard even during 2 thunderstorms to replace roofs and skylights on our house and outbuilding. Completed project quickly and cleaned up efficiently. No complaints! Painless for us from first interaction to end. Company kept us informed of each step during the process. Experts to deal with! We definitely recommend M&M!

We have dealt with M&M for a number of years and for a number of different types of jobs. They installed a shingled roof on our home and garage. They installed new siding and they put up a new roof on our barn. They installed a flat roof on our new house. Every crew we dealt with have been friendly, yet respectful and professional. Our rep Trace Teske was wonderful to work with. He helped pick out the roof color that best matched our siding. Which he also helped choose to match our brick. He has a good eye. He pays attention to detail and is one of the nicest people I have worked with. The whole crew was great and did an amazing job cleaning up. Even debris that got caught in wind and into neighboring yards. They cleaned it all up. Very respectful.

M&M has always done excellent work for us - - we have used them now for many years for many different jobs - - window, doors, gutters, repairs - - you name it!! And our rep Jeremy is so very knowledgeable and helpful and always aims to please!!!

Thought I’d post an update on my new windows from M&M. My first experience with the company was very positive. We got a few quotes from other companies and felt they were the best from a cost and quality standpoint. This was in spite of the fact our sales agent is my son, Gregory Benish.
We had an issue with our storm door not shutting properly. I called them and they had a representative out the next day. Just a minor adjustment then everything was fine. Excellent sales, installation and follow through with M&M.

From the sales experience to the installation M&M home remodeling was seamless. Everyone we dealt with was very professional. The quality of the windows kept us warm in the winter and is now keeping the heat outside where it belongs, reducing our utility bills. I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Ryan was a great salesman. He came in and gave great product knowledge of the product that he sells. Most importantly he treats you like you would want your family to be treated. He does not come off pushy or like a used car salesman and right away gives you a great price For the work that will be completed. The team did a great job of completing my roof in one day and also did a great job of cleanup.

I am so impressed with the quality of work that M & M Roofing did with installing my new patio door! I absolutely love the decision I made with getting blind inside the window panels. It took away from having big bulky drapes or blinds externally and it looks so much cleaner and defined. Nathan was my Salesman and he was such a pleasure to work with. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about a top notch company. I have and will continue telling others about what great work they do!

Had M&M install new gutters and gutter guards before the spring seedlings started flying. Very pleased with the performance of the product. The installation team did a great job overall, tear down, install and cleanup.

Quality work!! New James Hardie siding for my house - quality product installed by a James Hardie certified crew!! M&M also installed the shutters, soffit and fascia, gutters with covers and downspout system!! Communication was terrific - no pressure sale technique to available to answer all of my questions (no question was treated like a dumb one) plus do their best to pick up the stray nails!!

I had a very disappointing and frankly unsettling experience with M&M Home Remodeling Services. Last summer, shortly after purchasing my home, I contacted them to repair or replace a few small sections of vinyl siding that had come loose. I got four quotes from reputable local companies. M&M was the second to arrive, and by far the most extreme in their approach.

What followed was a high-pressure inspection where they picked apart nearly every aspect of my siding, claiming shoddy workmanship--except for the areas I had specifically asked about, like the siding around my windows, which they conveniently said looked fine. The whole visit felt incredibly intimidating and performative.

Then came the scare tactics: they told me that unless I replaced both the siding (and the roof!), my house "wouldn't survive the winter." They conveniently offered me 0% financing for the job. It was a textbook fear-based sales pitch--manipulative and predatory.

Not sixty seconds after they left, another siding company came to provide a quote. They assured me the issues M&M identified were either exaggerated or completely fabricated. Without me prompting, they even warned me that M&M was notorious for using this kind of approach. I went with a different, more trustworthy company with a service area spanning three counties--they fixed the issue quickly, affordably, and professionally. It's now spring, and (shocker) my house is completely fine.

M&M's lack of professionalism and reliance on scare tactics is deeply concerning. I left the interaction wondering what would've happened if I'd been a senior, or someone less familiar with home repairs. I have zero doubt they pull this same move on vulnerable homeowners. Their behavior was unprofessional, immature, and completely unbecoming of a company operating at this scale.

If anyone from management happens to read this, I highly recommend shadowing your Portage, Indiana crew. You may not like what you see.

Avoid.

After two recent storms I am happy to say that I see no leaks. One thing that disappointed me was that they used the wrong color trim, white instead of brown. Scott did spray paint some of the most noticeable sections, but it is still very noticeable from across the street. For what this roof cost us, I would have expected that the wrong trim color should have been caught at the start and that the trim should have been the right color.

I had attic insulation done and it was a seamless process! From the representative coming to give us our estimate, to the employees at the office, everyone was friendly and efficient. Very happy with the work.

My experience with M&M roofing was the worst! Do NOT hire this company. I had to call the Town of Merrillville to get the company to fix some of the issues. But the roof still is very poor quality. I am just sick over being taken for a lot of money and left with an absolute disaster.

After last summers F0 tornado came through our subdivision, we were left with some minor roofing repairs to be completed; mostly a few missing shingles, and some that were damaged. M&M responded promptly to a request for an estimate, even though they were extremely busy with other jobs. After signing the work agreement, our roof was repaired with the exact same color, style and manufacturer shingle that was currently on the home. We are very satisfied with the repair and you can’t even tell where new shingles were replaced and blended in.
We will for sure call M&M for any of our future remodeling/roofing needs.

I had the roof replaced, new gutters and downspouts almost one year ago. The work was complicated on time , on budget and on schedule. I have had zero issues with the install. From the estimator to the finish crew everyone was very professional. Highly recommended.

They did a great job. When they do something for you they do it right it took the stress out of having my roofs done.we where very happy with there work.

I had a bad experience and I understand some people can't keep their word. Especially a sales guy. Has no time to stop and care about things as much. It is sad the disrespect I experienced. Feel I've been lied to my face by a guy that seemed so nice. Ryan was his name. Sad to see it.

I hired M&M for a Z-flashing on windows project and sealing all corner posts and all cracks/holes on the siding. They have done an excellent job.

We needed a window set back in place after it had popped out while we were washing.
The service and call back section were so accommodating, cooperative and patient in scheduling our service.
Our service man, Paul, was extremely knowledgeable, kind and explained the processes he was performing. His professionalism, pride in his work and customer satisfaction focus was appreciated.
M&M once again exceeded our expectations.

Mostly satisfied. But didn’t put multiple items back on roof correctly. Disappointed in the amount of nails and other garbage still left on the ground that I had to pick up. The photo below shows the light on the garage mounted in wrong spot and wire still just laying there. Satellite dish mounted back was wrong one.

I chose M&M to completely change the siding in my home from cedar to James Hardie siding. They were very professional throughout the time the project was done. The team who worked on the house were very respectful and clean and Joe whom I worked with was always responsive, helpful and extremely professional. I would highly recommend this company!

I really can’t tell. Being it’s gutter work. Which is too high for me to get too. But, there was an orange like spots on the down spot by my back gutter looking over the flat roof. So I really can’t tell. But it looks good.
As far as the salesman. Not so much. When looking at what had to be done. He didn’t seem very interested. Like the job was to Small for him to do !!

We needed a siding panel replaced on our home and called M&M. I did not know how much it was going to cost. When Andrew Moffitt came out he gave excellent service. He put the board that blew off of my home back on and didn't charge me. I was shocked. I was very happy with his kind service and will definitely be using M&M to come back to do the work he recommended . He was very helpful and professional.

My experience with M&M was very easy and professional. They came to start the job on time as they promised. They worked thru until the job was finished. The person that inspected the work afterward was courteous and kind. The clean up was flawless.

If I could I would choose zero stars. I would not recommend this company. I had 2 houses have work done by M&M within the same week. They did not clean up thier mess at either house and one of my chimneys leaked after the 1st rain. I was basically told tough luck and paid for a leaking chimney. The person that did the work said they wouldn't suggest the company he works for because they refused to let him to the job the correct way and made him do it the cheap ineffective way that did not hold up even for 2 weeks.

I recently had my roof replaced. They showed up at 7:30am and by 5:00 they were cleaning up. If you didn’t know I they replaced the roof you couldn’t tell. I was really impressed how fast and efficient they are. I highly recommend M&M!!!

Had a roof leak and some issues with the flashing, Andrew personally climbed up on my roof to tarp the leak while we waited for the repairs to be complete. When work was done it was done right, and they did a good job matching up the shingles so it looks great. Couldn't be happier!!

Great roofing work. I highly recommend this business. Pricing is fair and transparent. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service.

After receiving several quotes Matt with M&M came in with the most reasonable. We also added some extra shakes to our house. I love how they added the trim around the windows. The crew was wonderful to work with. I would use them again!

I chose the wrong company. Not entirely happy with the installation of my patio door. Mainly it has to do with the exterior J-channel. The door had to be built out to fill the gaps on either side, and plastic along with aluminum J channel were used. I had gaps in the sides of the doors with nail heads sticking out, gouges in the door itself, but the worst is the aluminum J channel. It's dented in places and just generally looks bad. One side’s J-Channel was also cut a half inch shorter than the other. Worse, I don't think I can replace it with a regular 1 inch vinyl j channel, because my siding looks like it was cut back, and while gaps are well hidden under the 2 inch aluminum, it'd be cutting it very close with a one inch vinyl.

Also, the boss man insisted that the job be done on a 0 degree day with -20 wind chills in February, and said he'd charge me a 10 percent fee to re-schedule. There were other issues, but bottom line is that it's just not very aesthetically appealing on the outside, and I'm left with few options. I was looking for a company I could use to replace all my windows and siding one day. I don't think it will be them, based off of this work.
