Michael H**** Central Kentucky vs Metal Worx, LLC (Wendell Thomas Mars, Owner) October 12, 2022: Personal Check #167 was written for $5,840.00 per contract to secure services from Metal Worx LLC to provide a new metal roof for my residence. October 13, 2022: Personal Check #167 for $5,840.00 was cashed by Metal Worx LLC. October 12, 2022 to present date: The aforementioned roofing services nor materials, have been provided in any form or fashion to date. Over the course of two and a half years and still counting, Metal Worx LLC has failed to deliver per contract, never providing materials or services as stated. Communication has gone on at various junctures over the course of two and a half years and still ongoing, via text messages and phone calls. I made numerous inquiry calls and text messages to Wendell at Metal Worx LLC regarding the scheduling date of my roof replacement. After each inquiry, I was given excuses and constant delays that have been repetitive since October 13, 2022. November 2024: Upon notifying Wendell at Metal Worx LLC that their services per contract would no longer be required (because I had to hire another roofing company to provide roof replacement services due to the amount of deterioration and weather damage to my roof while still waiting on Metal Worx LLC), then Wendell of Metal Worx LLC suggested or asked if I would like to initiate the refund process. MORE EXCUSES AND FALSE PROMISES ON AND ON.....

I left a pretty lengthy review on Yelp. The short version.... The metal work looks good and I am told should last a long time.... However.....2.5 years later We have had to have a third of the roof re-done by a different contractor due to standing water and leaks. We have to pay another contractor to repair soffit board and replace a section of gutter that Metal Worx said they would address but did not follow through after repeated attempts on my part. The most serious concern.... We paid in the roofing job from Metal Worx, to have the old roofing material removed and any plywood replaced that needed it.
When the new contractor was doing the repair work, they discovered that MetalWorx had NOT removed the old roofing. Also, there was rotten plywood underneath it.
NOTE: I have texts, emails and pictures to support my statements above. I have let a lot of details/concerns out for the sake of time. If you contract with MetalWorx just be willing to get everything in writing and be willing to double check everything yourself. I think the crew are capable of doing good work. Having said that, I would not work with them again.

It took over 3 months when he was supposed to have it done before Christmas gave him half down and still nothing I had to threaten him with a lawsuit before he came then took some siding off put it back with no nails now I have to fix it I would not recommend to anyone
