Metal Worx was hired to build two covered decks and install a metal roof and gutters. We were told it would be about 2 months to begin depending on weather. Someone finally showed up after 4 months. They removed the back stairs and set deck posts. They did not return for months. That left me with no back exit to my home for months when I am legally disabled and it's a huge fire hazard. It took 10 months after material deposit was given for them to complete the job. They will blame covid, and no wood available, but their carpenter told me he was building a deck at their house instead of building mine. They were originally hired because of their lifetime warranty. I have been trying to get them to come fix the leaking gutters for over 6 months. They're always too busy, working too far away or short handed. There's always an excuse. They will respond to this review with more excuses.

Metal Worx LLC is scam.
DO NOT trust this compony. Someone came looked at our property gave us estimate of $8000. He and his wife introduce herself as “Maddie “ called us insisting we have to pay $4,792 deposit so they can order materials. It’s been 2 Months now they keep running us around and telling us it’s hard to get a lift to come do the job. He doesn’t respond he ignore all our calls and text & When we call him he gets angry and very unprofessional. Be aware This guy introduce himself with different names. Wendell then Gery Blankenship. He has a way to get your money and disappear and never show up for the job. He is a FRAUD ! He leave us no choice but reach out to attorney.

Wendell came out last year (08/11/2021) to provide a quote at that
time he verbally quoted 3 weeks.
On 08/19/2021 I signed contract and 08/21/2021 provided the $4,477.80 deposit to Wendell.
At that time (via email) he provided a timeline of 3-6 weeks till install.
3 Weeks later I reached out due to the lack of progress he replied
via email and said they would install beginning of November
instead.
I then reached out again 10/25/2021 (due to no communication) and requested another update at that time he
stopped communicating by email but would occasionally reply via
text.
The next reply was 12/21/2021 (text) and he said we were
"Very Close"
My follow up on 01/24/2022 and 03/01/2022 got no
material reply.
I followed up on 04/29/2022 (text) and at that time he stated we were 10-15 days out.
I followed up again 05/06/2022 (text) and at that time we were still on target. I followed up again on 05/13/2022,05/17/2022 (1 day after 10 day and 1 day after 15 day estimate) and got no reply.
I followed up again 05/21/2022 and he said he would tell us when he would install on 05/23/2022.

I received no response so followed up again on
05/24/2022,05/26/2022 and 05/27/2022 05/27/2022 (text) He said
they are now running 14-21 days behind.

It has been 9 Months since they took my deposit and it has been very difficult to get any communication from Metal Worx and Wendell.
They are now wanting to just drop
the material off in my yard and this is seriously NOT OK.
