We have hired Landon & his crew for 3 jobs. First was a basement entry door. Then new gutters and front entry door w/storm door. Last was 2 replacement windows. All jobs were professionally done with quality products. They came in did the job & when they left everything was picked up and clean. Recently purchased and had installed all new gutters for the whole house, as well as 8 window replacements (5 in the basement, including a complex hopper window for a dryer vent - and 3 in my living room).

The whole process was wonderful - Landon was great to work with in terms of initial consultation, quoting, etc. - and was never pushy, only helpful. His crew that installed (he came out as well each day, to make sure I was fully satisfied and personally walk through the finished work) were courteous, mindful of our house and yard/landscaping, and honestly left our place better than they found it.

They helped me move furniture around, take down and replace window fictures and paintings near the windows being replaced, and even helped re-install my dryer vent after putting in the new window that attached to the vent.

Also, I had pretty bad basement leaking when it rained before I did this work with Green Gables, and after - zero basement leaking. The products and service are wonderful. Know several other people personally who have worked with Green Gables too - same story every time, attention to detail and excellent service are the standard.

Best of all, it is quieter in our house, and the HVAC is getting a much needed rest due to the increase in efficiency.

Green Gables Windows & Doors of Lexington, KY is excellent! We had the best experience that we ever had with a contractor. Landon, the owner, was on site every day to make sure we were pleased with how everything was going and to answer our questions.

The Green Gables installation crew was also really great! They are perfectionists. They make sure that everything is sealed well and fits perfectly. They have a good eye for detail and do a clean neat installation. The craftmanship of the detailed aluminum window cladding with the architectural design that they do for the outside of the windows looks much better than your standard flat aluminum window cladding. The installers not only do excellent work, but they are courteous, professional, and clean up the site at the end of every day to make sure everything is neat and tidy. The installers even took off their shoes when they came inside to do work, so they would not track in any dirt.

Before we decided on Green Gables to replace our windows, we got five quotes from from other companies. Green Gables offered a well built custom window, the ProVia Endure, and installation for half of the cost of the highest quote we got. The quote Green Gables gave us was a really good value. You can’t find this good of service and installation anywhere else these days.

Fantastic experience from the estimate where the door was carefully measured, to the patience while I decided on style and color, to the incredible advice as I made those choices, to the install. The install was clean, the owner of the company was there to make sure all was right, and it was done in about 4 hours. The entire install team was friendly and professional. Finally, the product they carry, ProVia, is just fantastic. Solid door, beautiful glass, great look and feel. I’m so impressed I’m looking forward to doing more projects with them. Highly recommend.

Landon and his team did an incredible job making a very large and imposing project happen smoothly and with as little stress as possible. I cannot say enough how much I appreciated the regular, personable communication from Landon, who checked in on us even while he was out of town for another engagement.

Our sales representative wasn't afraid to put on mud boots so he could get thorough, accurate measurements during our consultation, and at no time did we feel pressured to go with one option or another. We were shown all options, and when we needed to remove a few things for our own budget, there were no high-pressure tactics to try and get us to change our mind.

The installation team handled almost the entire house in one day, which was amazing to us considering the status of our old windows. And when we needed a new trim for one frame that had rotted entirely, the guys went into town that day to find a matching piece and get it replaced to be as close to the original as possible. The guys were all very friendly and didn't mind our small zoo of cats and horses running around outside, and the foreman was sure to have the crew do a careful check at the end to ensure there were no nails or bits of metal for the animals to step on later.

After obtaining several different quotes for window replacements, I selected Green Gable Windows & Doors. Their prices were reasonable and in line with the others, but I was most impressed by the window demonstration they provided as well as offering options for bay window replacements that would save me several thousands of dollars. The windows arrived about 3-4 weeks earlier than expected. Landon and Chris provided exceptional customer service by keeping me well informed on my order as well as throughout the installation process. The installation team was prompt and efficient in their work and the metal cladding work that Cody did on the bay windows was AMAZING! I can honestly say Green Gable Windows provided top notch professionalism and customer service. It's a true rarity to find a team that takes such pride in their work. Very pleased with our new windows and door. Pricing is competitive with the larger companies (I got 3 estimates). The windows arrived and were installed in about 8 weeks (12 weeks estimate from other companies). Excellent customer service from Landon. William and crew did a great job installing everything in less than 8 hours and cleaned up after themselves. My favorites: I love the awning window above the kitchen sink that I can open without standing on the sink and the frosted windows in the bathroom and front bedroom are perfect for privacy. Support small business!

We had to replace a large, custom back door and we were very concerned over price point. Landon was exceptional in how he treated us, but also was very reasonable on price. They are the best in Central Kentucky, and they work very hard to earn and maintain their customers' satisfaction. We chose the Marvin Elevate line to replace the windows in our 1980s home, and we are very pleased with the look and craftsmanship of the Marvin windows. The installers worked very efficiently to expertly install 15 windows in our home in 2 days. Landon provides excellent communication and customer service throughout the process. Landon, William, and their team did an amazing job with replacement windows for my home. Purchasing went great, Landon was transparent with pricing and communicative during the entire process. Windows took ~3 months from first contact to install, very fast for custom windows. Install only took 1.5 days for a whole ranch house, with a few custom framed openings – replacing old doors. The ProVia windows are fantastic and couldn’t imagine going higher end unless you have an architecturally significant home. I fully recommend Green Gables, it was an easy process, zero pressure, and communicative throughout. It’s worth it, especially coming from inoperable, single pane 1950s windows.

After many hours of research and reference checking both window & door manufacturers as well as the businesses that sell these products, my decision was made on one crucial factor, the installation. Especially any business that subcontracts their work out.
You can buy the most expensive window and/or door, but an incorrect installation will render them defective and inefficient.
I chose the Prolia Legacy door and their Endure windows. The doors speak for themselves- top notch build! The windows were not as expensive as some of the bigger name brands but are really well built, and the reviews can be mixed, however, most negative reviews can be traced back to poor installation.
Green Gables had done one of the best installs I had ever seen and I’ve been through many house renovations! These people know what they are doing!

One of the panes of glass arrived broken, but Landon ordered a replacement promptly. He even returned to my home, personally, to exchange it. Then, when the crew showed up, they were very skilled and very kind. They worked for about two days and got our 20+ windows all installed in a timely manner. Plus, we had two toddlers at home and they were very kind to them as they worked. They were always there to answer my questions in a way that was informative without being patronizing. I am always nervous having people come into my home to do work, but this group put me ease almost immediately with their professional yet personable approach to the job.

We had a new front door and storm door installed in the fall by Green Gables. Landon and the installation team were a pleasure to work with as they were responsive and always on time. The installation was painless for me as a homeowner. The old doors were removed and the new ones installed without need for any painting or cleanup. Had a minor issue with the new door that was addressed immediately. Now that winter is upon us, it was a great decision to replace our drafty old door.

We ordered two doors, a storm door, and a sliding door to replace some leaking doors in our home from Green Gables. While there were some unforseen manufacturing delayes, Landon stayed in contact with us throughout all the checkpoints to keep us in the look from start to finish. The installers were professional and very friendly, even going so far as to help out with a little ant colony they found under a door when it was pulled out. They hauled away the old broken doors, cleaned up the areas where they worked, and did a super professional job. they even fixed some of the previous owner's DIY mishaps around the doors. Overall, I'm very happy with our doors that we've been using for several months now and I couldn't be happier with them. Thanks!

I cannot say enough good things about the way that Landon Howe runs Green Gables Windows & Doors. From start to finish, this has been one of the easiest parts of the remodel of our 5,000 sq ft farmhouse that has been quite the project! Landon was always punctual and professional and am beyond impressed with his communication skills. Green Gables replaced all 40 windows in our house, as well as 9 exterior doors and traveled all the way to us in Smithfield to do so. There were some bumps along the road like any project, but Tom who installed our doors, was a real craftmans and even rebuilt headers, repoured concrete sills, and did drywall work. The doors and windows came out so beautifully that we decided to have them also replace the double doors to the entrance of our business. Highly recommend using them!!

We contacted Green Gables & Doors because our neighbor used them and told us about the excellent service and products they received. We contacted them about replacing our front door and patio sliding door. Landon came to our home to make sure he understood exactly what we needed/wanted. He then presented us with a proposal, kept in contact about the progress during the making of the doors, and then oversaw the installation of the doors. This is one of the best experiences we have had with any company. We felt that Landon wasn't just trying to sell us doors, he really cared about what we wanted and did everything in his power to make it happen. Green Gables installed new gutters on my home, as well as a leaf guard system for the new gutters. They were also able to perform a very unique, customized gutter installation on a patio roof. Other companies could not offer a solution to the patio roof, but Green Gables not only provided a solution but did so at minimal cost. Service is very professional, polite and responsive to any questions/concerns.

When we needed to choose window replacements, Landon was straightforward in telling us the pros and cons of each replacement option, very up front about prices, etc. which helped us pick the best bang for our budget/buck. He also came up with a great idea for replacing an awkward bathroom window; he helped us decide to go with a same-sized awning window, and now that I’ve lived with the window a month, I can say it definitely suits that bathroom much better than what was there before and his advice was solid! When I asked about cutting a new window where there wasn’t one in my dark office, Landon was enthusiastic and ready to get that done, too. His installer Angus showed up early the day of installation with another really nice guy, they got to work right away, and they finished super quickly — in just before 8:30 AM, out by I think 12:30 PM. The seals all looked great afterward, they left no mess behind, and I don’t think even a single bug or fly got in when they were swapping windows out. The new window they cut is now the nicest one in our home. Payment options were easy. These guys were just so respectful, chill, and knowledgeable. If I ever need another window (or a door!) replaced, I will definitely call Green Gables!

Landon and his crew were professional, courteous, and efficient. They arrived on-time and finished earlier than expected. The Alside windows look great and work even better than expected. There was an issue with one window from the factory but they sent a tech out and they had it fixed within five minutes of arriving.

Needing new window replacements, I knew just who to go to. My neighbor next door had just used Green Gables/Landon last year. I admired the new look and felt confident that my windows would look just as great.
Landon uses an excellent product w/high energy efficiency and was able to select an exterior color that will never need painting as the color goes through the entire frame.
Professional service and install all the way. I have absolutely no complaints. My windows look awesome, no more fogged glass, no more rotting wood trim, and so easy to access inside and out for cleaning w/the slide down/drop in access to the exterior.

We are very pleased with Landon & Green Gables. We replaced some original foggy half moon windows with aluminum. The outside of Silver/Gray with wagon wheel trim matches the window trim & the inside is white. We are very pleased with the result @ a much better price than replacing with new glass. Landon was wonderful to work with. We highly recommend Green Gables!

I love my new windows and sliding glass door from Green Gables. There is nothing that makes a home more attractive and that adds value to your home than quality windows. Since installed, my home not only looks better, but also is much more comfortable temperature wise. Good riddance of my single pane windows and sliding glass door from 1958!
