Started with our salesman Brian,who was just so helpful,and knowledgeable and patient with me as we had not purchased carpet in years. He showed us so many different grades and colors and explained all the different padding choices. We never felt rushed, and his personality just made it even that much easier. After ordering it was just short of two weeks to get it in and get on schedule to get it installed. We did two bedrooms, stairs and our loft. They had 2 men show up right on time like Matt said. They worked very well together. We had extra benefits with his guys. They had a possessed radio and they tryed to sing. They need to hold onto there daytime jobs a whole lot better at laying floors.

We are so happy that we chose Matt to replace the carpet in our motorhome. The process was professional from start to finish. We took the motorhome up to measure the area and pick out the carpet we wanted. We appreciated Matt's truthfulness and honesty with what would and would not work. In no time the carpet was in and we were back at Matt's to have it installed. We expected it to take a couple days but Matt called us later that afternoon to say it was all done. That's taking out the old carpet, then cutting, binding and installing the new carpet. It looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier. We would highly recommend Matt for your carpet needs.

I called to get an estimate for
My 3 bedrooms and possible outdoor sun porch. The guy came in with one board of outdoor carpet samples. He measured the sun porch and said - he had another client and had to go. I said what abt the bedrooms, the reason I called. He said- oh I have another client waiting. But he did measure the bedrooms - quickly. Idk if they were correct measurements. Then he said I will have to make another appointment
And bring In Those carpet samples another time or send you a quote for medium grade carpet tomorrow. Well, that was Tuesday and it’s the end of the week. I got nothing, no quote, no follow up, no customer service. The guy was late knowing he had another appointment t and only brought outdoor carpet sample- one board of it? I have nails sticking out of my floor and need carpet now. I am going with another company. This is ridiculous. My time wasted.

Matt has a great selection and great prices! He sent us home with multiple samples so we could see the flooring in our space. He also has great knowledge of his products and gave recommendations based on our needs. Will definitely buy from him again for any flooring needs!

My parents, who are in their mid/late seventies, have never before out-sourced home repairs, but needed the carpet in their home replaced due to the difficulty my dad had in navigating the floors in their home with his wheelchair. As they live on a fixed income, our top priority was finding someone who could complete the work quickly and within their budget - and boy did we ever!
We solicited several companies for estimates and ultimately went with Matt The Carpet Guy because Rob, our sales consultant, was so informatively accommodating during their in-home consultation in listening to my mom's desires and addressing her concerns regarding the style of flooring she wanted and areas to be completed, and he even worked up a few different estimates for her, combining different rooms, in order to achieve exactly what she was envisioning in the completed project.
Matt himself schedules each job and he stayed in contact with us throughout the entire process, even answering my calls in the grocery store! This is a top-notch company; from sales to install to billing, everyone that I came in contact with was knowledgeable and kind.
Devin and his 4-man crew who came to complete the install worked tirelessly to get the job done and my parents back in their home, despite a couple of hiccups we encountered due to the age/condition of their home. What could have ended up taking MUCH longer than the originally estimated timeframe was only extended by 1 day because of Devin's crew staying as late as necessary to get everything buttoned up right - and Matt even paid for their hotel for the extra day that it ended up taking!
From start to finish, Matt and his crew made a daunting project so smooth that, not only will my parents be calling when they are ready to complete the next phase of their flooring project but, my mom now feels confident enough to consider other repairs that they have been putting off for years!

I cannot recommend this company enough. They literally saved us from some pretty poor work from a previous sub contractor and were so fast. I called on a Friday just to get a quote, someone came out to look at the situation on Monday, and everything was done by the following Monday. They communicated every step of the way, and after a 3 month process with someone else I am so relieved that our floors are finally done! Thank you Matt, Rob, and team!

Matts crew came in and repaired a couple holes for us that my son’s hampster used as chew toys. You can’t even tell it happened! Saved us a couple thousand! We couldn’t be more impressed and thrilled with the results!

This place is a joke! When I called on the phone, NOBODY answered at this location, so I called back and pressed the option for the Salisbury location just to answer a simple question. The woman in Salisbury assured me there is someone working at the Selbyville location, so I drove over there real quick, only to see multiple employees in the store. The female I was greeted by wanted nothing to do with me and then the guy she sent out to talk to me acted like I was bothering him. All I wanted to do was buy a certain size of carpet to place in the back of my vehicle, but this is horrible customer service for a place with NO customers there at all. They're not getting my money, I will simply order on Amazon.

We’ve worked with Matt twice now, and he has been fair, personable, and knowledgeable both times. He pays attention to detail and has a great selection at his Selbyville store. Working with Matt has been a pleasure.

How many businesses these days are responsive, honest and provide a good value. I had received a few rough estimates that were way out of line. I reached out to Matt and he gave me a ballpark number (which blew away anyone else's pricing for the same product). I had them come out and give me an official estimate and the estimate was right in line with the ballpark number. The job (LVP on a covered rear porch) was completed quickly and it looks amazing. What more could you want from business? Sure, go ahead and get another estimate. I have no doubt you will come back to Matt. Just an absolute pleasure to work with.

Update - It only gets better - My wife came to our vacation home and wanted molding along another wall. I emailed Matt at 5:32 on Saturday asking if he could take are of this. I fully expected that I wouldn't hear from him until the next business day (Monday). I received his email at 6:52. It was short and sweet. "Yes, can we come at 7:45 Monday". I can't tell you the last time I worked with anyone like Matt. Do yourself a favor work with him. You won't be sorry.

I called Matt Monday morning at 9:30 AM. I explained my need and he had a sales rep in my house by 12 PM. Extremely professional knowledgeable, and we decided on a product to install. Less than 24 hours later a fantastic team of installers came to my house, installed the product and went on their way, leaving no mess, and nothing for me to do but admire the professional and quick installation. That is customer service. That is dealing with a great local business. If you need any flooring product, call Matt he’s the man.

Walked into the store last week.
Matt the owner immediately greeted us. Told him what we needed. In 10 minutes we made our selection. The estimator met us at our house an hour later. Within a week they (including Matt!) came back, quickly installed the carpet, left our house perfectly clean....AND he and his team are super nice guys. It could not have been an easier.

It was time to replace the builders carpet in my home, I went to several carpet stores trying to figure out what to replace it with. I was overwhelmed by choices/selections and felt I got no input or guidance at the places I visited. Then I went to Matts' within minutes my salesman, Steve, guided me to exactly what I wanted and needed. I can say on my own I probably would have never selected what I ended up buying. We started there by looking for a bathroom vanity for our beach house and ended up replacing all the flooring and carpet in the house ( we did also buy the vanity too). They were so easy to deal with and I feel the price was fair. The materials came in quickly and the installation happened right away as promissed. Part of the project was to remove 210sqft of ceramic tile floor, they did this and left no dust anywhere. The installed both vinyl flooring as well as carpet. We are very happy and only wish they had another store in Montgomery County. - Highy Reccomend them!

I was referred to Matt for his patented tile removal process from an LVP installer that knows him well. Matt himself went to my house within 24h and got back to me with an estimate. We also decided to get our LVP product from him. One of the most impressive parts was that he wanted to honor the original installer's referral and gave the install business back to him.

When Matt's crew arrived to do the tile demo, they immediately had some problems with the gypsum base that was previously installed in our house. Matt himself immediately drive to our house, looked at the problem and called me with a solution. He could have easily told his crew to demo and then redo the underlayment at an increased cost to us. Instead, he calls, discusses the options and helps save us money.

When I visited his shop, he also has a kitchen showroom. I immediately wanted to talk about that but he suggested we wait until the floor was done to see if we were happy with his product and service. He easily could have closed me right on the spot.

We are customers for life and even the things that Matt does not do, we will reach out to him for referrals. The bottom line is Matt is HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY and wants the EARN your business. You won't regret going w/Matt the Carpet Guy!!
